“What’s going on?”she muffled and walked away.

** NEXT DAY, GIRLS DORM **

“What should we do with this free day of ours?”May asked as she pace round the room in thought. They’re given a free day today, no lectures.

“Eat, watch movies, sleep”Emily sang and she eyed her immediately.

“Too boring”she scoffed.

“What’s on your mind Ara?”Fiona looked at her.

“It’s…..”Annie’s call came through and she stopped talking to pick.

“Hi aunt!”

“I’m outside your hostel”Annie said with much excitement.

“Outside….my hostel?”she stuttered.

“Hm hm, I have plans for us”Annie said and she checked the time, it’s just 10 on dot..

“Tell her we’re here also”May mouthed, since the phone is in loud speaker, they’re all hearing Annie.

“Should I just come in?”Annie asked.

“That did be better, you take us all”May immediately said before Arabella could talk.

“Is that your friend?”Annie asked.

“We’re more than one”Julie replied and a knock came on the door. Fiona was quick to open up, revealing Annie and Paul beside her.

“Aunt!”Arabella jumped down as they hugged.

“Who’s this fresh chick?”Emily said.

“Paul and I’m twelve”Paul replied.

“You’re quite handsome”Emily said and he looked at her somehow then looked away.

“That’s Richie’s little bro”Julie hit her shoulder.

“I didn’t say I’m into him, I admire people Julie”she scoffed. Annie and Arabella are busy talking, Annie taking the upper hand instead since she’s asking almost all the questions.

“So, you’re all going with me!”Annie announced.

“Yes!”May and Julie shouted.

“I have plans on studying”Fiona quickly rejected and they groaned.

“Emily?”May asked.

“Monthly visitor came today so I’ll just stay back but please get me things while coming”Emily said.

“I’ll stay back also”Paul said.

“He never wanted to come, you could just stay with them till we’re back”Annie said and with that, the four of them left, leaving Emily, Fiona and Paul.

“Who’s watching over me?”Paul asked.

“She!”Emily and Fiona both pointed.

“He could just go with you to study”Emily said.

“And he could stay here with you”Fiona said.

“I’m not gonna be in here forever yunno”Emily said.

“Who do you wanna stay with?”Fiona faced him.

“Her”he pointed to Emily.

“Bye guys!”Fiona rushed out.

“You should have gone with her, I’m not quite nice”she said.

“I don’t like nice people”he said.

“I was just joking, I’m the sweetest person in the world”she said funnily.

“Lost my mind for a while, I h@ťě wicked people, who would like such people!”he also said funnily and they both laughed but she became serious.

“What do you love doing? I should entertain you”she dropped her phone to face him completely.

“Anything”he said.

“Have plans on attending our college?”she asked.

“Why?”

“Why don’t I show you around?”she stood up, picking her phone. “You’d love it”she added.

“What’s your name though?”he asked as they stepped out.

“Emily”she replied.

Fiona walked out of the cafeteria with a juice. She decided to come here before going to the cafeteria.

“Fiona!”Vince called from behind and she smiled unknowingly.

“Hi!”

“You’re the only one?”he asked and the smile disappeared.

“Yeah”

“Oh, I’ve been calling Julie but she isn’t picking”he said.

“She, May and Arabella went out with Arabella’s aunt”she said.

“Okay, to the library?”he asked.

“Still contemplating”she lied.

“Wanna spend few time together?”she asked immediately he would say something. “At least till I decide on going to the library”she added.

“Then let’s go back in, I’m hungry”he said.

“You came looking for Julie so you could eat together?”she asked as they began walking in.

“Yeah but she ditched me”he said.

“I’m available anytime she does something like this”she said and he glanced at her then smiled without saying anything anymore.

“Woah! The hall his large!”Paul commented as they walked in the general all for any occasion needed in the college.

“You haven’t seen something as this?”Emily asked.

“Yeah, my school hall isn’t close to this”he said, rushing to the stage.

“What do they do here?”he asked.

“Occasions mostly, drama clubs uses here when it’s their final practice and many more”she said.

“Who’s that?”he pointed at someone who’s laying on the front seats..

“Ghost?”Emily said as she moved closer.

“Alex?!”Paul screamed.

“Dude reduce ya voice”Alex groaned as he sat up. Paul immediately hugged him forcefully.

“What’s going on?”Emily asked and he let go of him.

“It has been two crazy years and I didn’t hear from you”Paul said.

“Why? What did the other dude say?”Alex asked.

“He’d always ignore the question even whenever I ask”he said.

“We stopped being friends”Alex said.

“What!”

“Yeah, you should ask him to tell you why”he said and stood up..

“Was that why you forgot about me?”

“You didn’t?”

“And I’d be too excited to see you?”Paul scoffed.

“Glad you’re alive but we shouldn’t be seen talking”Alex said and glaced at Emily then back to Paul and began walking away.

“Let’s eat together at least!”Paul shouted.

“You’re just twelve stop acting out of it!”Alex snapped without stopping.

“A meal dude!”Paul shouted again and he stopped.

“Thirty minutes”Alex turned.

“Thirty minutes”he smiled and faced Emily.

“Hm hm?”Emily mumbled.

“Just thirty minutes, please”he said.

“We both don’t roll together”she said.

“Uhn?”

“Yeah, so no”she said.

“Why dude? She’s pretty and a little sassy”Paul said.

“I’m right here”Emily mouthed.

“She’s the one with a problem”Alex said.

“You mean you not me cause you’re the one with that I know it all vibe!”Emily snapped.

“And you?”he scoffed.

“Please let’s just have a thirty minutes meal together”Paul said. They both eyed each other before walking out of the hall.

“Dude! Would you just stay in like you have nothing to do?”Daniel asked as he watched Richie roll in bed.

“You have a girlfriend now and if I could remember, today’s your second day together”Daniel added.

“Girls do that? The counting of days?”Richie sat up.

“You should be single forever!”Daniel snapped.

“You should be saying that to yourself not me!”Richie scoffed.

“Get off that bed and go meet her!”

“Why are you acting out!”Richie scoffed.

“You needed it!”he said and walked away.

“Going somewhere?!”

“Nah!”Daniel shouted back and left the room.

“Seriously!”

“Thanks”Paul said as he finished eating. They’re in a restaurant. Alex rejected going to the cafeteria.

“You shouldn’t talk about me to Annie”Alex said.

“Why?”

“Just don’t, favor for me eating with you”he said and stood up.

“But Emily isn’t back yet”he said.

“Here she is, bye!”Alex waved as he rushed out.

“You’re done?”Emily asked.

“Yeah, we should leave”he said and Alex rushed back in.

“I didn’t pay”Alex said and rushed to the counter.

“You seem to like him a lot”Emily said as they both walked out to wait for Alex.

“I do”he replied.

“Why don’t you give him this, don’t ask why”she handed him an ointment.

“Okay….”

“Wait up! Hmmm…. just have this, a gift”he gave it to Alex and rushed back to Emily while they both walked away.

“You’d tell me why one day”he said.

“I would”she replied.

** THREE HOURS LATER **

Annie left with Paul already. She went shopping with the girls and right now, an argument is happening in between them since Emily and Fiona didn’t go with but they want something.

Arabella is on her way to Richie’s room with the aim of saying out her mind on his weird attitude but she met him on his way out.

They both stared at each other for a while before she turned back.

“Bella!”he rushed to her, standing in front of her.

“You’re crying?”his hand met with he chin has she raised her head.

“Yesterday was suppose to be our first day of dating but you blew it off by ghosting me all through and today? No morning messages or calls? Why are you acting weird and playing with my feelings?”she cried.

“I’m sorry”he wiped her tears while she cried more.

“Please stop crying”he muttered.

“Why would I! When you keep hiding things from me!”she shouted.

“I won’t anymore”he said..

“You would tell me everything?”she asked.

“I would, promise”he said and she sniff before muttering..

“Kiss me”

“Hm?”

“You don’t want to?”

“I didn’t hear at first”he smiled.

“Kiss me Richie, I missed those lips”she cried.
