With all her strength Amelia pulled away from the kiss and landed a hard slap on Henry’s face.

“You motherfûcker!” Amelia screamed, her eyes filled with anger.

“How dare you kiss me?” Amelia spat.

Henry rubbed his stinging cheek and darted his gaze to where Asher was standing. He saw Asher and that’s why he kissed Amelia.

Amelia looked in the direction he was staring at and she saw Asher’s back. The street lights helped a lot.

Asher stopped walking and turned to her.

Amelia reached him and muttered, “Asher, it’s not what you think. He forced me to kiss him,”

Asher simply stared blankly at her and sighed.

“Go home, Amelia,” He said on a neutral note and turned his back on her.

“Asher, don’t leave me!” She hugged him from behind. “He forcefully kissed me, you’ve got to believe me. I was waiting here for hours. I called you multiple times and sent you text messages,”

“Why would I kiss him on our date? Please believe me,” Amelia cried against his back.

Asher closed his eyes as palmed his face. His mother gave him hours of nonstop lectures and thr_@ts, she even thr_@tened to ki|| Amelia. When she left and he finally checked the computer connected to device on her dress, he realized that she was still waiting for him.

“What do you mean by that?” Amelia croaked.

“When I saw you in vision, I knew you were going to be the woman of my dreams. I liked you from the moment I saw you,’Asher explained.

“I like your smile, your beautiful face, innocence, character, and everything about you. My heart skips a bit at the mention of your name…I love you,”Asher confessed.

”There’s no other definition of my feelings other than love. I feel so much emotions when I see, both physical and sěxually. I want to have you around me everyday, but I can’t, “Asher said in a low tone.

“Why can’t you? We had such a nice time this afternoon, what changed?” Amelia sobbed.

“I don’t want to put you in danger or make my people suffer under another king. I want us to end this…” Asher muttered, his heart shredding within his chest.

“Why do all of you treat me like this?” Amelia cried.

“You don’t even treat me like a human. You treat me like trash you can dispose!” She yelled in tears.

“You were the one that came after me. You took my number, defended me from your crazy fiancee, broke your engagement, introduced me to your grandma as your love interest. You gave me false hope!” Amelia screamed, yanking his hands away from her face.

“I didn’t give you false hope. I really thought that this could work. But for the second time in my life, I’m afraid. I don’t want to lose you like I lost…” He paused.

“It’s better that we’re apart and you remain alive,” Asher said softly. “I’m doing this for your good, Lia,”

The Queen Mother arrived at her home, but even before she could sit, a guard from Asher’s mansion ran into the sitting room.

“Queen Mother,” He stopped at a distance, dropping on the floor in respect.

“What brings you here?” She looked at him.

“The king ordered us out of his way. We couldn’t stop him from leaving, please forgive us,” The guard snitched.

The Queen Mother clutched her fists in anger.

‘So he still met that peasant. I guess that I have to ki|| her and her entire family and friends before he can listen to me,’ The Queen mother sneered.
