THE MAFIA AND THE VIRGIN STRIPPER

💠 Chapter 52 💠

Mia’s POV

The look on Ryan’s face was unexplainable and I didn’t know what to make out of it. Fortunately, there were some men in my mansion that I called just in case he tries something funny.

He might be a mafia boss but that doesn’t mean he will be able to take on so many guys at once all by himself.

“What did I say to you on the phone? I expected you to have caught on with it already but you seem to be playing innocent. It’s fine if that’s what you wish to choose so you can leave” I said and stood up

“Don’t you dare walk out on me when I’m talking” he said

“Or what? You think you can threaten me in my own mansion. I’m willing to let go of this for the sake of my unborn child but don’t you dare act like a god over me. You’re supposed to go down on your knees and plead for mercy but you still have the guts to talk to me disrespectfully? I know you are shameless but I wasn’t expecting it to be up to this point” I said sternly

“You are talking to me in that manner? Well, it’s not your fault so I don’t blame you. I must have been stupid to have thought of coming here in the first place” he said and stood up to leave

“The moment you step out of that door, I’m going to reveal everything about you and your group to the public and trust me when I say you won’t like the outcome. It’s your choice though! You can choose to walk out of that door and loose everything including your precious Brianna or you can choose to sit back and make a deal with me” I smirked

“Do you think I’m scared of your empty threats?” he asked

“Scared? I never said you were. It’s a free world and everyone is entitled to make his or her own choice, especially an adult. You have two options before you and all you have to do is pick one of them. Is that too hard to do?” I asked

“What if I don’t want to pick anyone?” he asked

“That’s your choice to make! You will be the one to include the third option though because I have no intention of doing that.” I said

“Okay. So what do you want?” he asked and returned to the couch

“Does that mean you want to make a deal?” I asked as I slowly descended the stairs

“Will I be sitting here if I didn’t want to?” he asked sarcastically

“Okay. So, the deal is very simple! Announce your engagement with me to the public. Don’t tell them about my pregnancy until we are legally married and I will keep my mouth shut” I said simply

“That’s the only thing you want in return for keeping such a big secret?” he scoffed

“Of course! What else would I possibly want? You know how wealthy I am already so you can’t possibly tell me you were expecting me to ask for your money” I scoffed

“Well, I guess so. But still, I wasn’t expecting you to just ask for something so simple” he said

“Something so simple? You think getting married to me is simple? We will see about that” I smirked and returned to my room

Thankfully, he didn’t do anything and it ended there. It was easier than I thought because I thought he would suspect my motive since he was a mafia boss but it went smoothly instead.

Ryan’s POV

I couldn’t wrap my head around the reason why Mia wanted to marry me. She has fame and wealth so what could she possibly gain from marrying me? More importantly, how did she find out about my secret?

I thought of going straight home to meet Brianna but then, I changed my mind at the last minute. I should go to Justin instead and straighten things out with him.

Within few minutes, I arrived at Justin’s mansion and was allowed to go in. since I was the real owner of the mansion, I didn’t have to go through any security check and Justin also wasn’t informed of my arrival.

When I got in, he was on a call with someone and I noticed how shocked he was the moment he saw me. He hurriedly ended the call and I stared at him suspiciously.

“Why did you end the call so quickly? Who were you speaking to?” I asked taking a sit

“I was just speaking to one of my friends before you came in and I had to end the call so I could give you my full attention” he said but it was obviously a lie

“We are friends! Have I ever complained whenever you make a call before me?” I asked

“No, I’m sorry I didn’t think about that. I guess I was too surprised by your unexpected visit” he said

He was too surprised? This isn’t the first time I will be visiting him unexpectedly so what’s there to be surprised about? Could it be that he leaked my secret to Mia?

No! That’s absurd! Justin is my right hand man and friend so I have to trust and believe in him because the moment he betrays me, I’m done for!

“Aren’t you going to even offer me a drink?” I asked to lighten the mood

“Sorry, I forgot. It’s always hard to treat you like a guest” he said with a smile which I returned

I think my best friend is back. Something probably came up and that’s why he was acting different just now.

We talked about so many things including the gang and laughed to our hearts content. I wanted the atmosphere to continue that way for a really long time but I still had no choice but to bring up the matter regarding Brianna.

“Have you met Brianna before?” I asked and slowly sipped my drink

The look on his face suddenly fell and I saw him gulp down nothing. That look already gave me the answer I wanted. He definitely knows Brianna.

“What are you talking about? If I met her before, I would have recognized her immediately. You know how hard it is for me to forget the face of someone I met even for a few seconds” he said

That’s clearly a lie! He knows Brianna but he lied about it which means something is definitely fishy. But how will I find out what’s wrong? Brianna won’t say anything and Justin just lied to me.

“Why did you ask that question all of a sudden?” he further asked

“Are you sure you don’t know Brianna? She clearly told me you guys are well acquainted so how come you don’t know her? Like you said, it is really hard for you to forget the face of someone you met even just for a few seconds” I said and stared keenly at him
