✨ Jayson’s Pov✨

If there’s anything else greater than pain then that’s exactly what I’m going through right now

My face is literally burning as I opened the tap for the hunthred time…… splashing water over my face as I couldn’t stop groaning

I kept hearing voices but my brain was too occupied to even listen……I covered my face after the last splash as I sighed….. resting my hands on the edge of the sink as I bit my lips in pain

First I’m horny

Second my mom wouldn’t let me breath

Third I’ve got huge responsibilities on my shoulders and now I just got burnt by hot steamy coffee by the same amateur I’m going to present to my mother

What if she decides to throw my mom off the cliff next huh?

Who dump her in a cooking pot?….. Fùck!

“I’m so sorry sir” her petite voice came again but I stood still….. trying to soak in the pain

“I said I’m sorry…… please don’t report me” she said and at that very moment I felt like plunging a naked wire down her throat……

She doesn’t even care about my burning face but rather her stupid job?……how insane is that?

“What the fúck were you thinking huh?” I asked calmly….. trying so hard not to vent my fustrations on her

It’s been close to twenty minutes and I still haven’t seen her face

Why should I care about her ugly face anyway?…… someone as dumb as this is definitely a walking zombie

“I didn’t mean to….. honestly” she said and I gulped down slowly…… raising my head

“You didn’t mean to?” I asked and I didn’t hear anything for a few minutes……why is she trying to get on my nerves?

“I didn’t” she said almost in a whisper

I groaned furiously….. turning around as she jerked virgoursly….. hitting her back on the door as my eyes almost popped out of it’s socket

“Look at what you did to my face and you are saying you didn’t mean to!……how dumb can you be!!!?” I said and she blinks repeatedly….. suddenly standing straight as she twitches her eyebrows

“Excuse me Mr but you don’t get to call me names……I know I splashed coffee on you but that doesn’t give you the right to talk to me however you please!” She said….her gaze burning into mine as Noah stumbled in…..his mouth his opened wide

Obviously he heard what she said and I couldn’t hide my shock……such nerves?

“What did you just say?” I asked….. trying to confirm if she actually meant what she said

“You called me dumb….. and it’s not right…… I’m sorry for what I did but don’t you dare call me names” she said again as she shoved me aside

Taking a few steps as I caught her hands…. with a swift pull I spuned her around……her hair swifting to the action as it draps her face….. within that few seconds I saw how beautiful she actually is….but she slaps my hands off her’s almost immediately

“You know I could get you fired for what you did right!?” I semi yelled and I saw the fear flashed in her eyes for a few seconds….she gulped down as her eyes roamed against mine

Well…. when I said she was beautiful that was actually an understatement….. she’s really gorgeous…..no make up of any sort and her face still looks extremely bright

She folded her hands across her chest

“Please don’t….. I’m sorry” she said and I looked at her for a few seconds

“I could file a complaint against her immediately sir” Noah said behind me…..her eyes widened for a moment and she slowly looks at me

She might be tough on the outside but she still got that fear in her eyes….. for some reason I loved seeing her scared

“Don’t” I said and Noah walked up to me fully……by now the burn on my face had reduced drastically

“Are you sure about that Sir?…… she’s obviously an amateur and needs to be suspended for her poor services” he said and she opened her mouth to say something….but closed it….. pressing her lips against each other forming a thin line as she looks away

Height…… check

Facial beauty……. check

Sassy and fiesty attitude……. super check

“Don’t do anything…..let her be” I said and her eyes softened….. she smiles a little and I couldn’t help but look away

Too much beauty

Wait a minute…..why am I having all this chessy thoughts?…..is it because I’m hórny or what?

I’ve got to snap out of it…… she’s definitely not my class to even lay with

“Thanks…..I really do owe you one…. honestly I couldn’t imagine myself getting fired” she said and a slight smrik displayed on my lips

“Leave” I said to her with the wave of my hand and she frowned a bit before slowly stepping backwards……I averted my eyes and I heard her hasten footsteps….. my eyes traveled back to her retreating figure and I almost gasped

I gulped as I looked at Noah….. he’s already giving me the teasing smile and I rolled my eyes

“You let her go unpunished….. that’s weird” he said and I smriked

“And who said I let her go?” I said and he furrows his eyebrows

“You are joking right?….. dude!” He said and I licked my lips….. staring back at the opened door

She doesn’t seem to understand how drawn I am at her guts…..she didn’t even close the door after leaving

“What?” I questioned and he raised his eyebrows….. looking at me with a side eye……I couldn’t help but chuckle

“I better hope you are not about to do what I think you have in mind” he said and I pinched the bridge of my nose in amusement

“Just lock the door….. please” I said and he looks at the opened door and shakes his head

“She’s just too brash for my liking” he said and I couldn’t agree less…..she easily gets on one’s nerves

But that kind of ecxites my interest……

“Buh she’s pretty though” Noah said as he faced me…..I looked at him for a moment before standing up and heading to my room

“Ignoring me won’t make it any less of a truth” he said to my hearing but I international ignored him again…..I know that pisses him off badly and that’s exactly what I wanted

★Bartle Billion’s Mansion★

Mrs Mantinda….. Jayson’s mother sat elegantly as her eyes were fixed on the monitors….. she’s currently going through the daily activities of her husband’s businesses until Jayson is ready to settle down parmanently

She poised her lips thoughtfully as she adjust her glasses…… things seems to be going well but she needs to speed things up because they never know when anything is going to happen

She can’t keep this up for long that’s why she’s eger for Jayson to get married……. before the devil decides to come back

It’s been eighteen years since she last saw him

Eighteen years since he was disowned and kicked out by his father

What if he comes back?

What if he decides to ki|| Jayson just like he almost did eighteen years ago?

Is he still alive?

What if that accident hadn’t occurred?

“Snap out of it!” She scolded herself…. shaking the thoughts of her

She breaths heavily and the door opened…… reveling a pretty blonde……she smiles brightly as she got closer….. hugging her dearly

” I’m so happy mother….. finally Jayson would get married to Mandy…… she’s the perfect girl for him” Gina…… Jayson’s younger sister and the last born of the family said and Mantinda sighs…..

“Jayson doesn’t seem to be interested in Mandy at all…..he says he doesn’t want to ruin their friendship” Mantinda said and Gina frowned a little

What friendship?…… they’ve already seen each other naked…..at least that’s what Mandy told her…..why is he suddenly finding it difficult to marry her?…… besides Mandy is head over heels for Jayson

“I don’t get it…….the occasion is in two days….and Jayson doesn’t even have a girlfriend” Gina said and Mantinda sighs heavily this time around

“He said he has a girl……I just can’t help but feel he’s trying to pull a fast one on us.” Mantinda said and Gina gasped

“That’s impossible!……he can’t have no one when Mandy is still there……I need to speak to him!” Gina bursted and Mantinda shot her a glare

“Let him be!……he said he’ll bring a girl he’s going to marry in two days….. let’s just wait and see” Mantinda said and Gina frowned

“This is pure madness!…… Jayson can’t possibly ditch Mandy!……I can’t take this right now” Gina said and stood up…… walking away as her heels made aggressive clicking sound

Mantinda smiles before resting completely on the couch…..if only Jayson knew what she’s got planned for him

d@mn I almost lost my job today….. what was I thinking?

Spilling hot coffee on a customer!?…..

I thought he would do something and Avia would have had the joy of rubbing it in my face

That bîtch…..she intentionally sent me because she knows I’m going to flop and I foolishly did

But he looks so familiar like I’ve seen him before……but where?

I hollered out and the cap and head straight for the main resort

My head was clouded with different thoughts as I brushed past a few people….. heading for the elevator

Why can’t I seem to get his image of my head?

Nah he’s obviously rich…… where would I even know him from?

I chuckled at my thoughts when I felt someone behind me

I turned and it’s Jasper……I smiled a little

He’s so dreamy…..

“You are back already?……. that’s pretty quick……did you do something?” He asked and I looked at him with a playful glare

“I didn’t do anything serious……I simply delivered the coffee and left” I said and he smiles

The elevator opened and we both walked in

Jasper is actually one of the new employees who started working with us a few weeks ago

He’s super reserved and he hardly talks…..he keeps to himself and I just can’t help but want to get close to him……to know more about him

I looked at him and he was just standing straight with his hands tucked in each sides of his pockets

He’s so gentle and calm…….no single negative bone in his body

“Stop looking at him before he notice!” I scolded myself but was too stubborn to stop

“You mind taking a picture so it would last longer?” He suddenly said and I blinked repeatedly…… suddenly gaining control of myself as I cleared my throat akwardly

“Don’t get Ç0çƙy” I muttered and he looks at me…..I looked back at him and a similar resemblance hit me…….where have I seen this face?

“Why are you looking at me?” I said and he smiles before looking away

“You are extremely pretty…. isn’t that enough reason for me to look?” He said and it took all the will in me not to blush….

Now he’s turning the whole thing on me

My eyes darted over him and I saw a scar on his wrist…… it’s really dark and that’s the only black spotted on his white skin

We got to our floor and walked out together….. and right there Roland was standing….. he’s looking kind of paranoid

I immediately knew was what going on…… and I saw the knowing smile on Jasper’s face too

“Let me guess……you did something to Mika and she wants to ki|| you?” I asked with a smirk and he scoffs

“That’s not true…… I’m just resting from Avia’s troubles” he said and Jasper tapped his shoulder

“You both should just get married” Jasper said and I chuckled…… Roland’s eyes widened and before he could object….. Jasper was already inside

“He’s right though” I said and Roland frowned….. walking away and I laughed to his hearing

I walked in and and the place was completely empty…… that’s unlike it…..we are always packed with customers

“Where’s Roland!?…….”I swear to God I’m gonna ki|| him once I lay my eyes on him!!” Mika said as she walked out of the kitchen with a spatula……. she’s obviously raged

“Your boyfriend ran out looking scared” I said and she walked up to me I’m fast strides

“I’m not joking……..we were supposed to be cooking before the customers arrived and he was on his phone….. pining the whole work on me!!!!……. and stop calling him my boyfriend gurl!!!” She said angrily as her chest heaved heavily and I rolled my eyes

“He’s outside…… probably hiding” I said and she started walking out

I smiled and looked around the empty tables and chairs

My phone binged and I frowned before taking it off my pocket and I almost wished I hadn’t

📱 Pay up the rent today or don’t bother coming back 📱

Tears wailed up my eyes immediately and I didn’t know when I started sobbing silently……

My hands were shaking as I tucked my phone back and I heard a mild laughter from behind…….I don’t need a soothsayer to tell me who that was

I cleaned my tears as I turned…..

“Poor thing…… it’s just the middle of the month and you are crying?…… I’m so sad right now” Avia said and I felt my intestines churned

I felt like slapping her…… making sure all her tooth fall out as I feed them to stray dogs

“Taunting me wouldn’t change the fact that you will forever remain ugly” I said and she chuckles

“I may be ugly but at least I don’t have to pay to live in my father’s house……you are just pathetic!…..poor and myserable!……..why don’t you just ki|| yourself?……. it’s way better than you been alive and taking up space meant for important people!” She spat and that hit home badly

I felt something sink deep into my chest and I actually couldn’t breathe for five seconds….

“Why don’t you just let her be huh!?” I heard Jasper’s voice from behind and Avia scoffed

“What did I do?…… I’m just letting her know where she truly belongs” she said and I felt Jasper hands on my shoulder……..I really wanted to do something but she’s spitting facts and that hurts

“It’s very obvious you are jealous of her……..why don’t you find something meaningful to do with your life instead of meddling in her business…….. where she comes from doesn’t concerns you so fúck off” Jasper spat angrily and I somehow felt relieved

Avia rolled her eyes before walking away…… and that’s when the tears came pouring down like a train that has lost it’s brake’s control

“Shuuush….. it’s alright….. don’t let what she said get to you” Jasper said as he pulled me into a warm hug which I embraced without hesitation….. wrapping my hands in-between his as he rubs my back soothingly

I couldn’t stop the endless sobs as I continued crying

“You’ve got to stop crying like a baby…. seriously…… she’s not worth your tears” he said and I couldn’t help but smile as the tears steamed down my eyes

But it hurts…….. everything about my life hurts like hell

I walked out the resort as I was done for the day….. Mika decided to stay behind for a while…..I couldn’t because my head was filled up and I really need to get home

Home?…….how sure am I that my things weren’t outside right now?

I sank my long fingers into my hair as I brushed it all the way to the back

The cool breeze collides with my skin and I shivered slightly…… it’s definitely going to rain soon…..I gulped as I felt my pulse increase

I lost my parents when it was raining heavily and ever since then….. I’ve grown up to develop this hatred for rain…… each time it rains….. I try as much as possible not to board into any moving vehicle because I didn’t want what happened to my parents to repeat itself

“Jasmine, we are definitely taking a walk back home” I said as I walked briskly…….the environment was busy you could see different people going about their daily activities

It’s just 5 pm so everywhere was still bright and busy

“You are just pathetic….poor and myserable!!……why don’t you just ki|| yourself!!!?”

Avia’s words constantly hugs my mind and I tried to break it but it seems to be hugging me tightly……..

“She’s just a child……. let’s dump her in the orphanage…..at least that’s where she belongs”

“She’s cursed…… losing both parents at once only proves it”

“Let’s just take her to the police…… they’ll know what to do about her”

I spent months on the streets…….. after losing my parents and my uncle took over and things became really difficult for me……but then one day he came and took me back but I went through hell…..I wished I had just stayed back and not go with him…… that’s the biggest mistake of my life

I sighed as I kept walking mindlessly……not paying attention to my steps as I entertwined my legs and fell heavily on the ground

Why am I so clumsy?……. this is exactly how I poured hot coffee on a customer earlier today

I bit my lips as I felt a sting on my ankle region……I stood on my feet as I dust my body….. thank God the road wasn’t crowded as it was before…….it would have been embarrassing

I bent down to pick my purse when a human shadow hovers over me as a pair of strong hand took it……I immediately raised my head and it’s a guy….. wearing a hoodie as he held my purse

I looked around and we seemed to be the only one standing there and he’s still holding my purse

“Ummm…… thanks…. but I gotta go” I said and he chuckled

I could have sworn I’ve heard that same sound today

I looked around again to see if I was under an attack or if he’s trying to mess with me

I’ve been through enough for one day……my mind can’t take anymore stress

He slowly looked up as he took off his hoodie…… displaying his nasal smile as I felt the air I’m breathing got stucked in my throat….. making me almost choking as I stepped backwards…… shock written over face

I held my chest as he keeps smiling……… twrilling my purse on his hand as my lips parted slightly……all forms of communication fleeing off as I couldn’t help but gape at the figure in front of me

“You?” I managed to say as soon as I could find the right words out of my mouth
