LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT - SEASON 2 CHAPTER 118
Keira became busy with being a full time mother for her twins and at the same time maintaining herself to bring her old shape back in place. After a month that she gave birth to the twins, Keira and Zach organized their dedication day with their close family, relatives and friends only as guests.
The couple smiled lovingly as Zach held Cayden while Keira held Stella in their arms as they seconded on the Preacher’s prayer for their twins.
“Dear Lord, we thank You for these precious gifts – these beautiful children whom we dedicate to you today. Behold, children are a gift that comes from You, the fruit of the womb is indeed a reward! Lord, we pray that You protect these innocent gifts that You have given us. We declare that the plans of the enemy to seek, ki|| and destroy these children shall not come to pass in Jesus’ Name. These children are a blessing and will grow to be a blessing to those around them, Amen.”
“Amen,” everyone in the Liu Ancestral Mansion where the dedication day was held answered in chorus.
“Wow… Who would believe that we are now proud grandparents…” commented Mrs. Chan to her husband. As parents, there was nothing more rewarding than to see your child having a good life – with a good lifetime partner and children of their own- a happy family of her own.
Mr. Chan let out a long deep sigh of satisfaction and suddenly stood up for a toast. “To our twins! May they grow to be healthy and good kids without being too stubborn ones like their mother…” Everyone laughed at that jest while Keira pouted her lips on her father who gave her a loving wink before he continued, “but be the best of themselves like their mother of course…”
The event was celebrated well and everyone enjoyed their small groups. Of course Keira and Zach almost had everyone as the Godparents of her twins with couples that played a big part in their lives like Torin & Lyra, May and Riley, Drey and Cielo, Jeru and Thea, and Xander and Yera.
Of course Lana was included though she was still single, with her was Cobra and the twins, Josh and Rizie.
And as usual, Lana had again become the center of bantering, as a new hobby of keira whenever she would sit together with her closest friends, Lana’s singledom would be the target.
“Geez, why can’t you accept the fact that I am happy being single? I don’t want any headaches in my life…” Lana complained while rolling her eyes. Keira’s lips twitched in disagreement and she was about to say something more to convince her friend once more that love is worth taking the risk, but she heard her twins crying so she immediately jumped off her seat to find her twins.
Mrs. Chan could not help but smile admiringly at her daughter who quickly checked on her twins. Keira and Zach went back inside the mansion because Keira needed to Břě@šťfeed her twins.
Zach could only sigh as he watched his wife Břě@Å¡Å¥feed Cayden while he fed Stella with the feeding bottle filled with Keira’s pumped Břě@Å¡Å¥ milk stored in the refrigerator. Keira insisted that she fed the twins purely with Břě@Å¡Å¥milk and not to alternate it with formula milk. So she alternately fed the twins with her Břě@Å¡Å¥ and feeding bottle.
Keira laughed because of her husband’s look at her. Zach noticed it so he quickly pursed his open mouth. He was living almost like a monk for months now and until now he would not dare touch his wife intimately because Keira was still recuperating from her normal delivery. Though he heard that a period of six weeks would be enough to be healed but still he would not compromise on his wife’s health.
He saw Keira winked at him and whispered, “I will attend to you General once our twins are fully asleep.”
Zach’s shoulders dropped because he knew it would be in vain to wait for that opportunity. Why? Because their twins were always active and their mother barely had enough sleep.
Mostly Keira was too busy at night and slept in day like their twins. And he was a living witness that it was truly not easy to be a mother. Well it was easy to get a helper but Keira did not want to entrust their twins with a nanny. She wanted to take care of their babies herself completely.
So Zach, would never dare wake up his wife for his own physical needs, seeing how even a short nap was very important for his wife.
He gave Keira a reassuring smile and said, “Don’t mind me… You still need to heal and the doctor said that it should be fourteen weeks at least.”
Keira tried her best not to laugh but she couldn’t keep it so she burst out in laughter saying, “I can still perform by other means to please my general. If there’s a will, there’s always a way…” then followed was a wink to her husband with her teasing by biting her lower lip down.
Zach blushed unconsciously and Keira found it so cute that her husband suddenly felt bashful with her bluntness. Because of that she was more eager to keep her promise. As soon as her twins were settled, she would definitely attend to him soon after.
When the twins were finally asleep, Zach settled Stella on her crib while Keira also put Cayden to his crib. Zach’s mobile phone rang and he answered it in a while since it was from the headquarters. He went out of the room so he would not disturb the twins’ sleep.
He got engaged a bit long since it was an important conversation and his decision was very crucial and important so he needed to know every single detail. After minutes on the phone, the call finally ended.
“I’m sorry it’s from…” he said as he entered their bedroom but immediately paused seeing his wife Keira was in deep sleep on their couch where he left her. Zach shook his head, how could his wife comfortably sleep while sitting? He immediately carried Keira on the bed and cuddled her.
“You don’t need to please me by any means my star… Because being with you like this is more than pleasing enough for me. I love you.” Zach lovingly whispered as he gave his wife a gentle kiss.

Another month passed and another gathering to celebrate earnestly occured…
It was the wedding of Sheila and Thom that was well celebrated and rejoiced.
“We are officially brothers now.” Jeru declared as he sipped his whiskey while he smiled broadly watching his father and Zach’s mother, that was now his mother too, dance in the center of the venue. They held the wedding at Lim’s Villa because mother Sheila preferred the country garden type of wedding.
Zach smiled seeing how happy Jeru was. He gained one more brother indeed. He knew Jeru always longed for a mother and it was really obvious and he was glad that Jeru found a mother’s love through his own mother.
“Mothers are the best in the world. I’m glad I got to experience one in this lifetime,” Jeru genuinely whispered as he clicked his glass with Zach’s for a cheer. Then his gaze went back to his father who was as clear as pure waters with his emotions for his wife. Age definitely did not matter for two people who had mutual feelings and are fated together.
“Ah everybody deserves their own happiness and fulfillment in life as long as they don’t hurt others, seeking and reaching for your own happiness and fulfillment is an achievement especially for those who experience different spices in life…” The two men suddenly heard Keira speak from behind.
“You, Thea asked me to get you. Oh, I think Junior Jeru will be more handsome than you are once he grows up.” Keira said and commented out of the blue that made Jeru laugh.
“Well, I don’t mind my son being better than me.” he replied before running fast towards his wife. They named their son after him, his Jeru Jr., and he was indeed an adorable kid.
He saw Thea with little Jeru sitting beside his grandmother. “There is your father darling. Hush my darling…” Thea whispered as soon as she saw him. “How come this little Jeru wants to be with you more than his mother who gave birth to him?” Thea complained as Jeru got their baby from her arms and the moment little Jeru felt his father’s warmth and smelled his scent he instantly stopped crying.
Old Madam Liu laughed and said, “Because your husband made sure that his junior will get used to his smell.” Thea pursed her lips because she never thought that it was really effective. Jeru would always leave his shirt beside their baby whenever he would leave saying that way his baby would feel and get used to his presence even if he was at work. He said he read it on a blog so he wanted to try.
Jeru smirked and said, “Hmm, see how my junior loves his daddy. My cute little Jeru, do you want a brother or a sister next?”
Thea reddened on his shameless words and shyly tapped Jeru because their grandmother could hear them. Jeru laughed and stated, “Don’t you know that it’s grandmother who’s pushing me and Zach to make more babies?”
Thea could not believe and unconsciously turned to look at Old Madam Liu to confirm if Jeru was serious or was just joking. Old Madam Liu smiled as she excitedly responded, “Yes of course. Our mansion is so big and there are a lot of rooms to fill.”
Jeru laughed seeing the sparkling eyes of his grandmother. She spent most of her time either with his baby or Zach’s twins. She was even impatient whenever Keira would bring the twins either at Chan’s Mansion or Lim’s Villa, asking why the twins were not yet back in Liu’s Mansion.
They were all interrupted by the sudden clanking of the glasses. The guests were asking the newlyweds to grace them with a kiss. Keira laughed hard with the reddening and bashful smile of her mother-in-law while uncle Thom held her waist.
Meanwhile, Old Madam Liu’s face crumpled, and with a twitched mouth said, “Oh give me my great grandson and I’ll take care of him. I can’t bear to watch those oldies kissing like youngsters… For goodness sake with these guests, aren’t those two too old for those kinds of things?!”
Jeru laughed and handed his now deep asleep junior to his grandmother who was too uncomfortable seeing his father and mother’s sweet moments together. “You’ll get used to them soon grandma,” he teased more that made Old Madam Liu jolted in awkwardness.
Among the guests was Keira’s uncle James Yang, Xander’s father. “I really envy you my sister,” whispered James to Mrs. Chan sitting beside him. Mrs. Chan chuckled and added more salt by saying, “Yeah two grandchildren in one chance. Xander can’t beat that I guess”
Seeing the disheartened look on her brother’s face, Mrs. Chan added, “But who knows? Be patient big bro. Aren’t those two on their honeymoon these days? I’m sure good news will follow soon so don’t fret. You know they say if you’re desperate for something pray hard for it. Prayers can move mountains…”
Senior Yang let out a long sigh as he looked at Keira and Zach each of them held one twin in their arms. Those babies were truly adorable and too cute. He wondered if his first grandchild would be a girl or a boy. Oh just the thought and the excitement was already ki||ing him. He could not help but grab his phone to send a cheering message for his son who was on a trip abroad with his wife.
[Work hard son and bring home the bacon…]
Xander who saw that text message from his father on the other hand scratched his head as he grinned. His mischievous cousin was probably teasing his father once more and making the old man jealous with her adorable twins.
“Darling… I received a message from my father. He wants a grandchild when we go back. We need to do another round,” Xander relayed while he waited on the bed because Yera had gone into the restroom.
Yera finally came out of the restroom and said, “Tell him you’ve been working really hard, and that the only time I am able to take rest is when I take a break to pee…”
