GIANNA’S POV
I’m so excited for our date tonight. Can’t wait.

I came out of the bathroom, wearing my white robe and towel wrapped on my head.

I sat at my makeup mirror desk and applied some expensive lotions on my face.

I applied some makeup on my face, wore my black gold sequin high low dress, my black caged block heels, and my diamond pearl necklace and earrings.

I checked my long length mirror “Muah 💋, I look pretty.” I said proudly to myself.

I fixed my hair style, took my black and white Chanel purse and walked out of my luxurious pink bedroom.

I went downstairs to the living room, sat on the couch, waiting for Rex to pick me up.

I sighed as I took my phone and and dialled Rex’s number. He didn’t pick up. Is he even coming for the date? Or he forgot?

I hope not. He promised me and breaking promises is what I hate the most. Rex won’t hurt me. He can’t.

I’m sure he’s coming.

*ORLANDO’S MANSION*
REX’S POV
I was still in my bedroom, still wearing my blue pyjamas, sitting on my bed, thinking about Avery.

What do Aaron mean she’s gone? Dead or what? I don’t get it. I hope she’s not dead, I’ll die if she is.

I don’t know what to do, I’ve tried to talk to Aaron since yesterday, more than once but he won’t answer me. It’s either he insult me or hit me mercilessly.

My phone rang again, it’s the b×tch of course. Why can’t that idiot leave me alone?

I don’t want to go on any Fůçƙïṅg date with Gianna. I don’t know what she want from me.

*50 MINUTES LATER*
GIANNA’S POV
“Rex, please pick up the phone!” I cried as I dialled his phone again.

Why is he not picking up? What did I do?

I burst into tears as I lie on the couch, crying bitterly. I feel like I’m losing Rex. I can’t lose him, I’ll won’t be myself.

“Rex, why?” I cried.

“Gianna?” My dad called as he sat beside me “What’s wrong?”

I sat up right and sniffed “Rex promised me that he’s gonna make it up to me by taking on an expensive date. I’ve been waiting for 50 minutes, calling Rex number but he’s not answering. He’s ditching me.” I cried as I lay my head on his shoulder.

“I’m sorry mija, I should deal with him, he’s not gonna leave you, don’t worry.” Dad said as he K!SSed my head.

He stood up, took his phone and called Mr Orlando’s number, Rex’s dad.

REX’S POV
“Who do you think you are, Rexford David Orlando?!” Dad shouted as he stormed in angrily.

I sighed as I stood up, starring at the stupid man merely “What dad?”

“Why is my future father-in-law yelling over the phone that you’re ditching your future fiancee?” Dad asked.

I rolled my eyes “Look dad, why can’t you understand that I don’t like Gianna? I love someone else, please stop trying to force me to be with someone I don’t give a damn…” I stopped as a slap landed on my face.

“Enough of your nonsense, Rexford. You’ll marry that girl right after university and that’s final.” Dad finalized.

I smiled for a second and burst into laughter “Oh geez!!”

“What’s funny, Rexford?” Dad asked.

I sniffed “You. You’re funny, Paul Orlando. Just because you’re my dad, doesn’t mean you can make many decisions in my life. I’m 18 for Christ sake!”

“Shut up! Just shut up!!”

“Not today dad! I’m going to look for Avery and no one’s stopping me.” I retorted and wanted to leave the bedroom.

“Leave that room and consider yourself out of the Orlando family!” Dad yelled and I stopped with a frown of confusion.

Is this man serious? I don’t think so. I think he’s just bluffing.

I turned to him “Huh?”

“And you won’t be given any share of my property, not even a dime.” Dad threatened.

Wow, so that’s how it’s feels to be threatened. I feel bad for Avery. I really wish she forgives me wherever she is.

“Will you go to Gianna and have a happy wealthy life? Or you’ll be disowned, thrown out of the house and be left with nothing?” Dad threatened.

I would have chose disown, because I have a mansion on my own and property. But I can’t leave my family because of two useless people. My dad and Gianna.

Also, I know Gianna and Avery are very close and by her, I can know at least, little information of Avery. I need to find her.

I shrugged with hesitant “Fine, I’ll go to Gianna. Just lemme freshen up.”

Dad smiled “That’s my boy.” He said and walked out of the room.

I sighed sadly. I know I’ll surely find Avery by Gianna because Gianna won’t stop finding her too.

GIANNA’S POV
I can’t believe Rex would ditch me. Why? Is he not in love with me again? Is he losing interest in me?

I swear, after today, if he didn’t come, he has hurt me so bad and I’ll make sure he’ll regret it.

I sniffed sadly as I stood up from the couch and wanted to go back to my room and shed my remaining tears.

“Gigi!” I heard his sweet voice.

I turned and smiled happily at the cute guy in white Gucci shirt, black denim ripped jeans and black leather jacket with white Prada sneakers, and his messy fringed hair.

He grinned and hugged me, I smiled but pushed him away, acting angry “Why ate you late? Why are you trying to ditch me before?’

Rex scoffed “Baby, I wasn’t trying to ditch you, okay? I was a little busy at work that’s why I couldn’t come on time. I love you.”

I smiled, believing what he said “I love you too.”

“Let’s go.” Rex said as he held my hand aggressively and we walked out of the house.

I don’t know what has gotten into Rex but this proofs that he still loves me.
