AVERY’S POV
I groaned slowly as I woke up, every where’s blurry.
“Adelaide! She’s waking up.” Someone whispered.
Everything became clear as I saw Adelaide and Yolanda sitting beside my bed, whispering to each other.
“Where am I?” I said weakly as I sat upright.
“Our bedroom.” Yolanda replied.
Adelaide sighed “Yeah, what happened to you? Thank God a guy helped you…”
“I had a terrible dream that my high school friend’s boyfriend who took my virginity appeared to my in the bathroom.” I explained.
“Huh?”
The door was opened and closed “Hey.” I heard heard his familiar deep voice.
My eyes went wide as I saw Rex “Argh!” I screamed again and remained quiet.
Oh no!!! It’s not a dream! No! This can’t be happening!!!
“Avery! What’s wrong with you?” Yolanda asked.
I shook my head immediately, still feeling shocked “N…nothing.”
“I’m just here to get you some food and medicines.” He said as he gave Adelaide the plastic brown bag.
“Thanks Rex.” She said.
“I’ll be leaving now.” He said as he walked out of the room.
I heaved a sigh of relief. Why is he here? How? What’s he even doing in Damville? In my school? Why is he after me?
“Avery, why did you even react that way?” Adelaide asked “He’s even the one who carried you from the library bathroom to our room and even bought you food and drugs.”
He’s even the reason I fainted.
I frowned “Really?”
“Yeah. Wait? Is he… The guy you saw in your dream?” Yolanda asked.
I’m not ready to talk about the prom night.
“Um… Not really…”
“Well, isn’t that the guy you saw in the bathroom earlier that you fainted?” Adelaide asked.
“No! It’s really a dream when I fainted, also I had a little shock. No problem.” I lied.
I sighed as I removed the white blanket from my body and stood up from the bed.
“Hey, where are you going? You need rest.” Adelaide said.
“Don’t worry. I’m fine, I’m going to my bedroom.” I said as I left the bedroom and closed the door.
I can’t believe Rex is here.
“Whoa!” Someone pulled me into an empty room and pressed me against the wall. Rex again?
“Leave me alone!” I winced.
“Why?” He asked, looking pale, his eyes are dark and swollen, he looks miserable on the inside.
I feel bad for him but we’re not meant for each other.
“Rex. Leave me alone.” I hissed struggling to let go of his hands pressing my shoulder tightly.
“Why did you leave me? I’m trying my best for the both of us and you ran away.” He whispered.
I pushed him away angrily “I ran away because of you. I left my best friend, my family, the city where I grew up because of you, you still followed me. What exactly do you want from me?”
“You! I need you. I’ve been miserable without you!” He cried softly, starring at my face with his beautiful sad teary eyes, caressing my face.
“What about Gianna?” I asked.
He let go of my shoulders, looking sad and nervous.
REX’S POV
How do I tell Avery that Gianna is still clingy on me, I tried to break up with her but she didn’t want to agree.
Now I left Fred University without telling Gianna.
“Why are you quiet?” Avery snapped me out my thoughts.
I couldn’t say anything.
She scoffed as she folded her arms “Don’t tell me you’re still dating her and still try to date me too. You’re such a cheating pervert.” She said as she wanted to leave.
I held her shoulders and pressed her back against the wall “What’s your Fůçƙïṅg dump problem? Let go of me! You have a girlfriend and I have a boyfriend.”
“Liar!! You can’t just forget about prom night and date some random guy.” I fumed.
“I do have a boyfriend and if he sees us he’ll…”
AVERY’S POV
“Realize how much we love each other.” I completed “Did you forget about our first meet at the arcade? How we looked at each other in the eyes? Did you forget about our prom night? Our first S£X? How we touched each other passionately? Listening to our body language?” Rex sobbed softly as he wrapped his arms around my waist, our noses are touching.
I didn’t forget that moment, I hate to say but I love that moment. The best and worst thing that ever happened to me.
I can never forget my first K!SS, my first S£X. Never.
I closed my eyes, P@ŋting, laid my hand on his broad chest, trying my best to resist this moment but I can’t! What’s wrong with me?
“Rex…”
“Avery, I love you, I love you so much and I know you love me too. Please, don’t try to run away from the truth.” Rex whispered sweetly.
I love you too Rex but I don’t wanna love you. I wanna love someone else to hate you.
“Rex, please just leave me al…”
He smashed his sweet soft lips on mine, K!SSing me passionately, rubbing his hands on my back, making me to feel comfortable.
He pressed my body against his, making to feel h*rny.
I miss those soft lips of his, sweet, soft, enjoyable, amazing. I don’t want let go.
He pushed me to the bed and climbed on top of my, still K!SSing my lips.
He took off his shirt was trying to take off my jumpsuit.
I pushed him off my body, resisting his temptation. I stood up from the bed and gulped.
“I have to go.” I said and wanted to leave.
“Avery wait.” Rex stood up from the bed.
I stood in front of him, planning on running away if he move a step to me.
“I’m sorry.”
I frowned “Huh?”
“I’m sorry for torturing you. I got carried away because I love you but now I realize you didn’t feel the same way.” Rex shrugged “Fine. I promise I won’t bother you after now. You can move on with Marcus.” He said and walked out of the bedroom.
I sat down feeling confused. Did Rex just apologize?
*IN THE EVENING*
I decided to enjoy some me-time a little. Avoiding everyone even Adelaide and Yolanda, especially Rex.
I went to the school restaurant, sat at a booth, enjoying a hamburger and banana milkshake, reading game magazine.
I noticed someone standing in front of me “Hey Ɓîtçh. Miss me?”
I raised my head and my eyes went wide in shock.
“Oh My God!” I exclaimed.
