“I asked you a f-__-king question”he yelled moving closer and Page lost all balance and fell flatly on her butt tears trickling down her cheeks.

Ryan stood in front of her.

” Get lost!!” He said coldly and Page lost it her heart playing death warnings .

He pushed his hands into his pocket facing his back on her,she stood up quickly supporting herself, gently letting out a silent cry and she sniffed ,this was the last of it she was fed up!!

“Really!!? I should get lost??, what’s wrong if he came here he came to meet me,cos his my friend!! He knew I was hurt ! He knew I would be starving so he brought food for me ,is that bad?? Huh??!? Is there a rule in this f-__-king company that says he can’t come!!”She said half yelling her hair falling gently to her face as she rushed all her words without breathing .

“You should have just gone to the cafeteria like the rest”Ryan blinked surprised then scoffed.

“And when??! She sniffed crying more.

“You made me work my bu*t out it hasn’t even been two days now!!! I suffered to get those write ups and the only thing you could do was reject it like it’s nothing ,do you think it’s easy??! Do you know what my life’s about right now??,you’d even care it’s fine that you h@ťě me but why put it out on what I do are ,you even human!!!??!! Why do you h@ťě me so much??”She said and cleaned her tears hiccupping ,she stared up at him fully and her eyes locked with his surprised dark blue blaze eyes.

“You know what?? Forget it “Page muttered and walked out of the office.

Ryan found himself pushing everything in his way he was burning with anger ,he moved to the wall and pressed a button and an inner room came to view one only him knew about.
He walked into the suite his anger slowly leaving him ,but what he felt was worst no one had ever dare to talk to him that way or called him “Inhuman” is that what she thought of him?? He sighed and his hands went to his face .

“He wasn’t that bad right?? He didn’t hurt her did ,did he??” He thought and sighed again he was way to harsh guess he was used to taking out it sadness on everyone ,he thought and slow tears came down.

Page cries could be heard slowly in the rest room,Page sobbed silently her lower lips slowly went in and looked up at the mirror her eyes were red from the crying and right now her lips were bleeding slowly from the bits she gave herself.

“Y..ou didn’t say anything bad, you did nothing wrong”she muttered to herself with a sad smile she gently pulled down her shoulder sleeve and a butterfly tattoo came to view, it was beautiful but they brought back flashes of her past.

“I should have been used to him??”she mumbled to herself.

But why did she feel guilty , he started it.

It was getting dark already and the whole street was hollow and the only thing that could be heard are the sounds of the wind. A man all dress in a brown coat walked down the road his hands in his pocket,he walked to a car parked at the side of the road and entered putting in the car and the car lights went on.

“What is your destination??” The super intelligent micro chip computer asked.

“Headquarters”he said .

“Time of destination forty minutes”It said.

**minutes later** “we’ve reached your destination” the computer said. He got down and started walking in, the place was built with high tech surveillance and men with high tech gadgets .He entered fully and went into an elevator, to reached the grand floor then he stepped out.

“Good evening Agent Anthony” a man in his late forty said placing his hand forward Anthony shook hands then smiled.

He was a Detective agent.

“Goodevening vice president didn’t think I’ll be seeing you here ,at my place sorry for keeping you waiting but you know how the police can be in times like this always demanding”Anthony said then sat.

“Yes and that’s why am here”vice president said.

“Why??”Anthony said raising his brows.

“You might fool everybody else that the attack that ki||ed the president daughter was a scandal but you know it’s more than that, if there’s a war approaching don’t you think it’s best for the high tables to know??”Mr vice said.

“It’s not a war”Anthony said.

“Then who are they??, what do they want?”Mr vice said but Anthony ignored his question and brought out an envelope containing pictures

“Mafias, drug dealers, they ki|| or kidnap children teenagers for there use and are shipped out”Anthony said.

“To where?”

“California the southern part most Koreans live there so am guessing that’s where our culprit is but his got a backup here in Paris”Anthony muttered and stood up and walked to the coffee machine.

“And the president daughter was ki||ed why??”Mr vice asked wondering how this matches to why they ki||ed the president daughter.

“I don’t know ,but I will”Anthony said sitting back with the coffee.

“So what’s the solution to these mafia’s “Mr vice said.

“From California sir, miss Jennie sent it”the assistant said,Anthony turned quickly surprised.

“Yes sir she wants to meet with you in California and she said she requests for your arrival quickly, something about mafia cases??”He said and Anthony nodded.

“Book the next flight to California , I’ll go alone”he said and his assistant nodded with a bow before leaving.

“So she misses me already, what a shame miss arrogant”He muttered smiling remembering what happened five years ago.

“Am fine just a headache that’s all”Page muttered,and someone suddenly walked in.

“Why don’t you do it I h@ťě people bossing me around with that attitude, don’t do it again” Page said and ellsa glared h@ťěfully and walked out and Ruby chuckled.

“Like seriously” Frankie chuckled.

“Bye ladies”He winked and Ruby hissed.

“Well she is, she’s part of the A5 “Ruby said.

“There bosses friend but she’s my least farvorite she always shows up here anytime the feels like just to meet boss”Ruby said.

“She’s obsessed with him,but boss is too cold hearted to fall for anyone, it’s like he’ll die if he does”Ruby chuckled.

“But do you know who I like Amelia morris ,she’s the best ,my role model, I love everything about her ,her favourite color is pink but she love wearing red, I follow her on IG and I really wish I could talk to her,she owns the best restaurant in the whole of California, can you believe it,she’s everything she wants to be and I admire that a lot”Ruby rushed and Page blinked surprised.

“Leave!!”He said.

“Leave now before I lose it!!!”He said calmly and Jocelyn knew better than to do other wise. She stared at him for a while, then walked out angrily ,she turned to Page giving her h@ťěful glares before leaving.

“Looks like you spoiled her plans in just the right time doll”Ruby giggled and Page bit her lips.

“I didnt mean to”Page mumbled what was wrong with her,why did she have to go in when she knew they’ll obviously be up to something.

“You will fall in love with me ,whether you like it or not and I won’t need you permission for that just wait my love”Jocelyn said with a wicked grin leaving the company fully.

Ryan sighed for the upteemeth time
he stood up and stared at his wrist watch
then left the office and saw Page she was also leaving

,she looked away and left without saying anything,

“Is she still hurt??” He sighed he couldn’t even do anything straight right now the only that was on his mind was all Page said to him earlier and it still annoying and he doesn’t get why her words had such effect on him.

He walked outside and looked around but she was gone already he sighed and entered his car.

“Good night sir” the guards said and he nodded and threw the key to him before driving off.

Ruby kept walking around,she wore a armless short gown that stopped above her knees but made her look cute,with a novel in her hand, Page had asked her to read it that its was so amazing so she decided to try it out cos right now she was more than bored ever since Page came there wasn’t any need of staying late in place of a P.A so here she was spending, she kept on smiling to the book and suddenly she began laughing.

“Seriously??Nicky is crazy”she muttered not looking at where she was going and suddenly someone pulled the book.

Ruby looked up and her eyes immediately widened her mouth slightly open in shock .

She turned back and her eyes widened more ,she was way far from home .

How long has she been walking??!!

“It’s not safe to be read in the middle of the road ,and it’s late”He said .

“I…l….was…I ….didn’t”Ruby stuttered confused of what to say which made Emma chuckle.

“What’s funny??”Ruby frowned.

“I mean your cute when you frown..”Emma blurted again and Ruby laughed.

“What’s funny?”Emma said and there was sudden silence they kept staring into each other eyes.

“Thanks”Ruby muttered, and Emma raised a brow.

“For saving me the last time”Ruby said looking away ,she was starting to get a chill.

“That’s why you shouldn’t come out late”He smirked and took of his leather jacket and leaned closer to her his face brushing her neck then put it on her shoulders.

“Don’t come out dressing like this”He muttered and her eyes widened with a gasp and she nodded foolishly .

“I have to go now but you never told me your name”Emma said.

“Ruby”She muttered.

“Cute name ,but you know mine already “He said and she nodded.

“Emma”she said and he smiled he loved the way she said it.

“Ave gotta go now I’ll drop you home”he said.

“No my house isn’t far from here I’ll be fine thanks”Ruby said and he nodded turning to leave.

“Hey!Here your jacket”Ruby said taking it off.

“It’s yours now”He said and Ruby faced brightened with a smile ,he mirrored the smile and for a moment Amelia’s image flashed into his head her eyes brightened just like Amelia’s .

“Bye ,she said with a wave and Emma did the same with a wink.

“See you later”He said and drove off.

She stayed there smiling at nothing in space.

What’s wrong with you snap out of it ,it’s just coincedence such fairy tales don’t happen in real life”She muttered and sighed sadly then stared down at the jacket and smiled walking back home.

Page came out of the bathroom ,her body drapped with a robe she walked into her dressing room and wore a pajamas then walked back into the room .

She hopped on her bed and sighed picking up a glass of milk then put in the powder substance then dropped it on a table.

she picked up one of the books she was reading it was a romance novel explaining the lobe of two opposite worlds a love h@ťě story,its was so interesting.

she wondered how someone so
cold could write something so heart warming.

“I doubt he wrote ,if he acted like his books he would have been a prince charming with a heart ,Maybe he loved someone or maybe Joceyln is his girlfriend” She muttered but whipped the thought away then the way he yelled at her flashed back into her memory and she felt sad.

“He can be with who ever he wants not my business”She mumbled and took the glass of milk drinking everything.

She kept reading with a cute smile she stared at the book like her whole life depends on it ,she was in another world and suddenly her smile went wider.

“Uhhn! Gosh!his so cute”She gushed hugging her teddy tightly ,she kept reading but suddenly some noise downstairs

“Who could that be all the maids had gone home and it certainly cant be mr grumpy bear he doesnt come home”she said to no one .

she stopped and dropped the book gently picking up a pocket knife under her pillow she got down the bed and walked out the door then downstairs.

The noise was coming from the kitchen so she went there tiptoeing gently she got to the door and peeped her hair falling a bit to her face ,the person was backing her and the lights were off the person made to turn and she immediately jumped out.

“Hey!!”She shouted pointing the knife immediately the lights went on and her eyes widened.

It was Ryan,he stared at her his eyes widening he looked at the shining knife and back to her.

“You??”She blurted and looked around looks like he was…….cooking no way.

He walked closer to her taking each step carefully the same steps that multiplied her heart beats,she stood there unable to move her eyes locked to his .

He got to her and leaned closer her eyes flew close fearfully,he leaned in more and she could feel his breathe against her skin.

He open the fridge and took a bottle of water before walking away.

She opened her eyes and sighed holding her chest.

“What was that for?”she muttered and took in more breathes before going upstairs.

She walked into her room still lost she sat on her bed and took the book but the feeling only got worst and she couldn’t stop thinking of the way his breathe felt on her skin and smiled foolishly like a child.

“Your such a dumb baby you only felt his breathe and your this way, it’s over “She muttered and dropped the book to sleep but not before turning on her night light ,she took her phone and saw a call it was from Mrs cayden.

“Hi baby ,how are you darling”Mrs cayden said

“Am fine mum,am really angry you didn’t even bother to say bye and now your just calling ever since you left”Page pouted.

“Am so sorry baby I miss you so much”Mrs cayden said.

” miss you more than you think,I got the job” Page said imaging the smile on Mrs cayden face and smiled.

“Really baby?? My baby is such a big girl now ,uhh!! Am crying”Mrs cayden said and Page giggled.

“Seriously mum!”Page chuckled.

“I just hope the job isn’t stress to your health “Mrs cayden said.

“No but his a I think working for a grumpy beard is worst”Page muttered .

“So your boss is troubling you ?why didn’t you tell me earlier give me his name and address and I will give him a dealing of his life how dare he”Mrs Cayden said dramatically and Page smiled.

“Mr grumpy Ryan Cayden”Page muttered and heard Mrs Cayden laughters.

“So sorry baby but his out of the list give it time you will surely adjust to him he is my son after all” Mrs cayden chuckled and Page smirked not like she was expecting her to do something.

“Good night Mrs Cayden”Page muttered.

“Good night baby”Mrs cayden said and ended the call.

Page sighed and carried the book again but slept of shortly.
