The car stopped beside her and the door opened.
Page tears gently wet her face ,still on the floor.

“Get in”

Her eyes widened fear reaping her ribcage apart and her eyes widened more.

Him?? She couldn’t explain the amount of happiness she had inside right now.

It’s was none other than ……Ryan.

“I said get in, or you want to spend the night here” he said coldly.

She gathered up strength and entered the car quickly closing the door.

There was silence ,as she rested her head on the arm rest ,she was still scared and never thought she would be so glad to see him.

He took a glance at her ,but quickly averted his eyes.

“Thanks”she muttered her voiced choked up in her throat and he stared at her shortly and turned away without saying a word.

she was still crying ,she took a breathe then gently cleaned her tears.

“You should know more than walking late ” he finally said , her heart beats fastened a bit , but then she sighed .

“I got lost, not my fault”she muttered in a defending tone.

Seriously she’s still got voice, Ryan smirked .

“So how was the interview??” He said and she looked at him surprised ,they had never had long conversations.

“Bad”she muttered.

“Why??”he asked turning to her.

“Don’t want to talk about it” she muttered.

“Bright luck company ,8:30, tomorow” Ryan muttered.

“Huh??…

Page stared at him for a while before nodding.

Then the rest of the drive home was silent.

The driver drove into the mansion and Page immediately got down from the car and went in to meet a worried Rosy .

“Ma’am are you okay??what happened to you,?? your hurt “Rosy said running to her .

“Am fine ” Page faked a smile and went upstairs.

Ryan entered pushing his hands into his pocket.

“Welcome sir” Rosy said with a bow and Ryan nodded .

“Get her a first aid box ,she’s hurt” he muttered to Rosy who nodded ,and went upstairs.

Page stood under the shower , her breath hot as water touched all the cuts on her body.

“How did he find her??, maybe he was worried so he came after her”she thought but suddenly felt stupid with that thought.

“You crazy ,why would he be worried rosy must have propably told him”she thought but she knew she would have died tonight if he hadn’t come.

She sighed and turned off the shower walking out of the bathroom in her pink robe.

She walked into her dresser and changed to a blue nightie all fury with her bunny head band before walking to the bed.

Rosy knocked on the door and walked in holding a tray and a first aid box.

“Here ma’am your dinner”Rosy said and dropped it on a table .

“Thanks”Page said.

“Master also said I should bring this to you”Rosy said giving Page the first aid box and a card.

His business card.

“So he cares??”she thought a bit surprised.

“Do you need my help ” Rosy asked.

“No am fine, you can leave “Page muttered.

She applied the treatments and ointments then ate just little.

She stood up after and opened a drawer bring out a white content in a bottle and put just a drop in her milk before drinking,this was the only thing that could clear her horrible nightmares.

She laid on her bed cuddling her teddy till she slept.

Rosy knocked gently on the door.

“Yes?? What do you want?? Page groaned her hair all scattered on her face.

“Ma’am , master said you shouldn’t be late”Rosy said.

Page opened her eyes quickly and that was when she heard Ryan’s car driving out.

“Why didn’t you wake me early”she groaned running to the bathroom.

Page packed her hair quickly and ran out taking a taxi.

Minutes later she got down and walked into the company,
and suddenly she began running, just then someone bumped into her spilling coffee all over her top.

“f-__-k!!” She cussed dusting her top ,the coffee burning her like crazy.

“Are you crazy!!!” Ellsa yelled glaring at Page.

Page immediately glared at her with a disgust look.

“Me crazy??! Really?? At least am not a blind Ɓîtçh!” Page snapped furiously and Ellsa immediately raised her hands to slap her but someone slapped her hand off.

“Ellsa !! Don’t be rude we don’t even know her”Ruby said glared.

“I don’t give a f-__-k to who she is she obviously looks like a nobody”Ellsa smirked and immediately a hot unexpected slap landed on her cheeks making her stagger.

“Next time watch your words dimwit”Page said and made to leave but Ellsa pulled her back but Ruby pushed her off roughly.

“Ellsa, boss won’t like this”Ruby said and Ellsa gave her a deadly glare before facing Page who gave her a smirk.

“We aren’t done, you regret ever crossing paths”Ellsa said.

Page scoffed and raised her mindle finger high ,mouthing a f_ck you to Ellsa.

“Hey it’s you, I didn’t get to know your name earlier”Ruby said.

“I’m Page”Page said with a smile.

“Wow ,cute name am Ruby”Ruby said .

“Why are you here I thought you already went for interview” Ruby said.

“Didn’t work out ,so I came”Page said staring at her top.

“Come with me I can help “Ruby said.

“Am so gonna be late”Page groaned.

“Then let’s be quick, you definitely don’t wanna see boss angry” Ruby said pulling her to a bathroom .

“Thanks, see you later “Page winked and ran out.

“Cute” Ruby chuckled and went to sit down.

“Hey” Frankie said.

“Your late again, am really thinking you wanna lose your job” Ruby said.

“Chill”Frankie said rolling his eyes.

“Who’s she”Frankie asked.

“I unno ,guess she’s the new secretary ” Ruby shrugged .

“I doubt she’ll make it through a day if she is”Frankie smirked.

“Yes she will”Ruby said boldly but she doubt the poor girl will even make it through the first test.

“Oh yeah ,right” Frankie scoffed.

Page knock gently on the door then pushed gently, Ryan was standing ,his back resting on the desk .

He looked up and gave her a disdainful look.

“Your late!!!!” He said and she stared down .

“You should know that the rule of the success of this company stands on punctuality”He said cutting her off , she didn’t bother to explain what was the use.

He went to sit still staring at her, she looked up then gave him her files.

He stared at it for a while and he couldn’t deny the fact that he was surprised by her brilliance.

But she can’t be more brilliant than him,he smirked .

“Not bad, you’ll be working here as a secretary and my personal assistant”He said coldly and she looked up.

Really his P.A??!! She screamed inwardly, she knew she wouldn’t survive it.

“Yes boss”she muttered and bowed slightly.

“Good”Ryan smirked.

“My coffee??Ryan said his eyes on his laptop.

“Yes sir”she said and bowed slightly before leaving.

she got out and Ruby stood up and walked to her.

“So?? Did you get it”Ruby said nervously.

“Yeah” Page smiled.

“Yes!!!” Ruby squealed and quickly held her mouth shut, page chuckled.

“Bye have to go make his coffee”Page said and walked to the coffee maker.

She picked a cup and put in the coffee ,before putting in milk and sugar just the way she liked it.

“I just hope he likes it, she thought feeling nervous again as she walked to his office.

She knocked on the door gently till Ryan told her to open up.

She entered holding the coffee nervously.

“Sir, your coffee ” she said , he didn’t look up he kept his gaze focused on his laptop,some minutes passed and she was already losing it.

“Sir??”she said calmly.

He looked up gently .

“Drop it over there and get me three hundred copies of this”He said giving her a sheet, her eyes went wide.

“What!!!!!three hundred copies how do you expect me to carry all those”Page said half yelling ,he shot her a deadly glare.

“Am..sorry but three hundred….

“Do you really want the job miss page “Ryan snapped.

She sighed and nodded.

“I’ll get it “she said and walked out.

“Hey what happened”Ruby said.

“Where do I get three hundred copies of this”Page muttered and Ruby eyes went wide in shock.

“Three Hundred?? “Ruby said .

“Where do I get it “Page said.

“Tenth floor take the elevator up, you’ll meet Brian”Ruby said.

“Thanks”Page muttered and went for the elevator she pressed the tenth floor button and it went up .

She walked out the elevator and walked into a dark creepy room with only few shades of light.

“Hey”someone said beside her ,she turned swiftly holding her chest tightly.

“You scared the f-__-k out of me why is this place dark?? “She said ,he ignored her instead he kept staring at her and it felt really creepy.

“Em am here to make copies are you Brain”she asked but he ignored her and took the paper form her hand and went to make the copied .

Five minutes of standing in the darkness and he was done.

He gave her the copies and it immediately dragged her down.

“So heavy!!”she said carrying then gently out,she didn’t care how heavy they are as long as she could get out of this creepy place.

But d@mn they are heavy, she muttered moving for the elevator,she pressed she button but it wouldn’t open,so she took the stairs, but it was a hundred step down.

She sighed on the forty step”am gonna die before today’s over”she muttered and took more step.

She got more tired and her ankle twisted in her heels giving her up .

“Ah!!!!” she screamed as she fell all the papers scattered all over they kept falling from the air as she held her ankle and her head they hurt badly and she already has a bruise on her head.

“Hey are you okay??”she heard someone say his sweet voice suddenly getting her attention and she immediately went numb.

“Here let me help “he said helping her up but her ankle twisted and she almost fell again but he held her his arms around her waist they stared at each other he gently let her go.

“Hi ,My name is Jayden”Jayden said smiling reavling his cute white set of teeth.

“P..P..Page”she muttered she bit her lips and looked around it was a mess .

she thought and bent down picking each paper gently.

“I can help “Jayden smiled and helped.
Six minutes and they were done.

“See it was quicker”Jayden said .

“Thanks”Page smiled and Jayden pictured the smile for a while.

She carried the papers the pain in her ankle increasing by seconds.

“Ouch!!” she screamed.

“Let’s me I can help you,were are you headed??”he asked taking the papers from her.

“Boss ” Page muttered.

” am also going there so let’s go” he said and they walked ,page gently leaping beside him.

“are you sure your good??…

” yeah ,minor pains that’s all” She said, soon they stood in front of the office and Jayden was about to open but she stopped him.

” here I’ll carry it” she said.

” are you sure you’re hurt” Jayden said.

“You came to see him right so go in I’ll be fine” she smiled and he reluctantly gave her,

“Be careful” he said then he entered.

Page entered after dropping the papers heavily making both Ryan and Jayden flinch.

” here the papers”she said turning to leave.

“Get me another coffee ,this ones cold” Ryan said and page stopped for a while hoping she was hearing things.

” huh??” She turned back sharply giving him a deadly glare .

“when your done with that get me hundred more copies”Ryan said with a smirk.

He could see the laser beams coming out of her eyes, and right now if glares could ki|| he would be at the bottom of the earth.

Her ankle hurt more just at the thought of going back there, and she didn’t know when she screamed.

” seriously!!”Ryan smirked resting comfortably in his chair.

“Get to work!”He said coldly tearing his gaze away from her.
