Ryan walked into the company, immediately his face the usual cold glare ,ignoring all greetings the workers gave him.

Ellsa walked hurriedly to him holding some paperwork.

“Morning boss”she said giving out her best smile, he nodded not sparing her a glance before walking into his office .

The Deco’s were something to marvel at from it’s well placed office furniture to the glass walls and marble floors was a superb combination giving the office a radiant look and everything obviously spelt wealth in full.

“Boss this are today’s schedule” Elsa said.

“And why are you the one handling it,?? your suppose to be my intern “Ryan said.

Elsa bit her lips nervously.

” sorry sir” she said.

” where is Ruby??” He asked taking out some files.

” I unno , she hasn’t showed up” Elsa said.

” and she didn’t send a notice that she would be late??” Ryan said his brows raised .

” no sir ” Elsa lied.

” fine , tell her to come to my office when she comes” Ryan said his tone an obvious notice that the discussion was ended.

Elsa stoled a glance before turning to leave.

Page walked down the street just few miles away from Luck wave company , the taxi driver had refused to go further for some wired reasons , so she decided to walk the rest.

Suddenly someone bumped into her making her lose her balance ,she was obviously rushing.

” oh!! So sorry I didn’t mean to” She said helping her up.

” it’s fine, thanks” Page smiled taking her help then she felt a sharp pain on her arm .” ouch!!” She whinned.

It had a scratch , f-__-k why?? , she thought.

“Really sorry” She said and page nodded.

” maybe you should go a hospital?” Ruby said.

” no it’s fine” Page smiled.

” were are you going ?? cos you really shouldn’t be out here it’s not safe” Ruby said but Page was too busy checking her phone then checked the time.

” bye don’t wanna be late ,am off for an interview” Page smiled cutley running off.

” bye hope to see you some other time” Ruby shouted.

” wait?? What’s your name? ” Ruby said her voice echoing but page had gone too far to reply.

“Hm ,she’s so cute ,but never seen her around” Ruby said to herself.

Besty had actually fallen sick so she sent a notice to the company that she would be coming a bit late ,so she had to go get some drugs from a drug store quickly.

Ruby walked in hurriedly and sat behind her desk. Which was beside Elsa’s .

Elsa smirked then faced her laptop back.

Ruby got to work quickly and just before she could settle in work her desk bell rang and she stood up quickly and walked to Ryan’s office.

“Now she’s so gonna get it” Elsa said with a wicked grin.

“Boss you called me??”Ruby said nervously .

“I asked you to come to my office ,so why didn’t you come??” Ryan asked looking up at her.

“Huh?? No one told m…..

It’s that witch! ,she thought in rage.

“Apologies sir, but I sent a notice” she said.

“Elsa informed me that you didn’t , you know what that’s your business but unless you wanna lose your job don’t repeat it” he said coldly and she nodded gently.

“you haven’t done the works I told you” Ryan said, holding up some files to her.

“Then get me a PA”Ryan cut in .

“Yes sir I’ll do some checks on the notice”she said .

“Be quick about it” he said.

“Anything else” Ruby said lifting a smile.

“No..” He said and she left, immediately she got out and Elsa gave her a fake puppy eye then smirked.

Ruby glared at her before sitting down then began check the notice she sent out.

Melly’s Eat n dine one of Amelia’s most successful dinner’s in California , no doubt and no other dinner can be placed beside hers when it comes to the splendid delicious delicacies and treat they serve, on morning the place is always filled up but never gets crowded cos of the huge space with awaiting customers , waiters trooping in from the kitchen to give amounted attention to each customers, and on evening’s the magnificent chandeliers give the diner a beautiful and magical touch.

Amelia sat in her office her pen marks on the price rate and rating’s chart ,when she’s in here she takes things seriously but that never stopped her employees from loving her ,she was admired and envied by her fame ,even her aura could cause confusion in a gathering.

A man walked in all dress in black, his black leather jacket traveling some tattoos.

“Good evening boss” he said his head bowed and immediately her brows went up in surprise.

“Why are you here? I told you to stop coming during work hours, or do you want someone to get suspicious” she snapped.

“Sorry boss but it was urgent , I got the things you asked for”he said bringing out some pictures.

“She ki||ed miss jenny,the proof are her these were her last contacts, maids said they found her dead in her room just a day to her award for world best model” he said and Amelia eyes widened.

“She’s not changed one bit” Amelia smirked and kept the photographs.

” keep an eye out your money will be sent to you through the usual route” Amelia said.

” yes ma’am” he grinned and bowed before leaving.

Page walked to the gate , some security stood there they searched her all over before letting her in.

” hi am here for the…

” yeah the interview you can wait for boss in his office” she said and pointed at the office.

Page nodded and walked in she sat done staring around ,she didn’t feel comfortable here ,earlier with the lady she noticed she kept her hands on the pocket of her coat as though holing something firmly .

The boss was actually in a meeting in the inner suite that no one knows about.

Page kept staring and a file immediately caught her eyes. She touched it but immediately dropped it back.

Mind your buissness Page , her inner mind screamed but she ignored it anyway and opened the files her eyes widened.

They were forged files ,illegal writing and she knew one when she saw it.

“f-__-k! “she gasped

The boss is actually a mafia and deals with shippings but of what she thought her hand gripping her bag she was suddenly scared .

“Get out of here!!! Now!!!” Her head screamed and she stood up immediately luckily for her he hadn’t come yet.

She held the door knob but it didn’t bulge it was jammed she kept pushing and it finally opened and she ran out hurriedly .

“Hey!” The lady said she turned with a smile.

“Em I’ve got somewhere to go since he isn’t here I’ll come around later its getting late”she rushed and left the lady stared after her blankly.

Page got outside it was getting dark, she walked further then stopped biting her lips nervously a magician didn’t need to tell her that she was lost.

“What are you gonna do now”she muttered nervously her hands shaking ,she heard footsteps approaching her without turning back she ran tears trickling down her eyes fear ripping her ribcage.

Still running she turned but saw no one.

“Huh???am so done for”she muttered and kept walking now the street was quiet and no one dared step outside .

She could see some thugs all settled at an alley and that was the only route she hadn’t tried, so she risked it anyway .

A black car drove speedily past her, she froze for a sec.

She kept walking ,the car reversed driving gently to her,she increased her speed almost running but her leg gave her up and she fell landing on her butt her injury bleeding all over again and tears gently wet her face she couldn’t stand her legs hurt badly .

The car stopped beside her and the door opened.

Ryan stood up and closed his laptop he took his car keys and stared at the clock it’s still early but all work for today was done, he sighed and walked out of the company entering his car then drove off.

The rest had left but since she’s Page’s personal made she had to wait till she permits her to leave but she hadn’t come and she had a bad feeling about it.

“She’s not home sir” Rosy said .

“She went for an interview early this morning but didn’t show up after”she said but Ryan only scoffed and went upstairs .
