“My bag and purse ” Ruby said , the geng stared at her then burst into fists of laughter.

” is she serious right now??” One of the guys said his wine her falling on his face.

He wore an armless black top reaveling the tattoo all over his hand. She ignored him .

“Just…….

“Hush !! If you weren’t this segzy I would have punished you…but” he stopped moving closer to her.

She gently moved back retrieving her steps.

Ruby what did you get yourself into , she thought fear relling a shiver in her down her spine

He kept moving closer a wicked grin on his face.

“Stay back!!” Ruby said , her back hit the wall ,he smiled and moved closer pinning her hand behind her .

“Let go!!!”She yelled arrogantly.

“Shy?? I love shy”He muttered leaning for her neck , her eyes widened in shock.

She kicked his middle ,making him hold his under in pain and before he could make a move she speed off immediately .

“Get her!!!” He groaned running after her in a funny way.

She kept running and turning back in fear ,now people were looking but no one dare interfere .

She kept running for her life fearfully ,till she knocked into someone her head hit his hard chest ,without thinking twice she hugged him tight and surprisly he held her back .

“Hey!!!” They shouted getting closer to them.

“Help me they are after me” she muttered already shaking in fear , not bothering to look at who she held.

They came closer and ruby could here them more.

“Hey!!! you !! ,mind your buissness and let her go, you have better things to do” one of the thugs said making Ruby’s heart leap from her rib cage.

Was he gonna ditch her???.

She immediately held him tighter.

” did you steal from them??” His sweet voice came in segzily and she nodded negatively.

“Don’t come closer”he said giving them deadly glares .

The thug smirked and immediately they charged at the two.

Emma pulled her to his back and what happened next was ugly .

Ruby stood there dumbstroked ,people were now gathering taking videos.

one of the thugs brought out a dagger and charged after Emma who was pulling the leader by the collar .

“Emma!” Ruby screamed in fear he looked back and jodged it giving him a flying kick without leaving the thug leader.

“you love bullying harmless ladies right??”He spat angrily pulling his collar harshly.

He said kicking him continuously without mercy , soon the cops showed up .

Emma pushed the fool and talked to the cops before walking back to Ruby who stood there shocked.

“Hey, you you’re okay right ?? They didn’t hurt you?” Emma asked staring at her his gaze suddenly affecting her speech she nodded ,he smiled at her cutely .

“I guessed it’s for you” he said handing her,her bag and purse .

“Thanks” she said and he nodded about to leave when she hugged him.

He stopped surprised .

“You saved me no one ever did that , and your hurt!!” Her eyes widened as she stared at the blood on her fingers.

“i’m fine its just a little cut , he muttered giving her a reassuring smile before entering his car.

“Stay safe” he muttered and winked and drove off.

She stood there staring her heart racing , everyone left already.

“Why did I do that??” She scolded and held her purse tighter .

No Ruby don’t add another to your list, she scolded and walked home.

Ryan drove in and immediately a frown formed on his face.

Loud music played in high tempo ring from every corner of the house.

He walked into the mansion just immediately a maid came to meet him.

“Welcome back sir” Rosy said her head bowed.

“Is mum hosting a party” he asked ignoring her greeting .

“No sir she’s not home , she told me she would be going out with some friends” Rosy said her head bowed.

“So what’s with the music??” He frowned.

“It’s miss”Rosy said and he raised brow in some what annoyance .

“Tell her to put off the music ,it’s ear disturbing” he muttered heading upstairs .

“Okay sir should I bring in your coffee after??” Rosy asked.

Ryan nodded the maid bowed and left.

**minutes later **
The music wasn’t even reduced a bit instead it got higher ,and Ryan was losing it .

“What does she think this house is some kind of club??” He muttered.

“Mom must be trying to make me go mad” he smirked .

It was obvious he just took his bath cos his hair was wet he was shirtless and he wore shorts , which reaveled his abs .

🎵 but you never wanna be eachothers🎵 she sang sweetly but one could barely hear her she kept jumping on the bed with her blue kitty headphone on her hair making her look cute.

Actually the song she was listening to was different from what played out of the loud speakers that was driving Ryan crazy .

Rosy knocked on the door severally but page heard non.

“Miss!” Rosy shouted but luckily for her page jumped and faced her removing one side of her head phone.

“Master said you should put off the music” Rosy said formally, page brows gently furrowed before she started laughing .

“He’s got to be kidding ” Page said and smirked a bit before nodding.

“Okay” she said and put the headphones back but didn’t turn off the music.

°Ryan’s room°

“Yes?? Ryan said.

“Your coffee sir” Rosy said .

she was the youngest so she does most of the work while the rest slack off.

“Why hasn’t she turn off the music??!?!!! Ryan glared anger obvious in his eyes.

“Sir??I told her……..

“And she didn’t turn it off ??” He glared ,the maid nodded and dropped his coffee then bowed before leaving.

I’ll just go turn it off myself , Ryan muttered and stood up.

He walked to the direction of the loud hear disturbing music , his hands in his pocket .

The door was wide open ,with page still jumping childishly on the bed , she wore a white bumshort with a pink crop top with a picture of barbie on it, her hair all scartered on her face .

He went to the socket and pulled out the wires .

She stopped jumping making her headphone fall on her neck.

Her eyes went wide in shock and took her small lips in.

” You should know when your in someone’s house there are some rules ” He glared and pushed his hands back in his hoody pocket, turning to leave.

“And here here’s no noise allowed and your one yourself” he smirked and left.

She stared at him not knowing what to say.

“Mean!!” She hissed and went to the bathroom sweat sliding freely down her body.

She came out later almost an hour dressed in a joggers trouser and black longsleeve crop top with collar ,
she packed her hair in a pony tail wore her headband took her headphone and pecked her teddy bear before running downstairs .

She was going out for a jog.

At least that’s one thing she could do in piece she hissed .

Jogging round the huge and large compound , mum didn’t like the idea of her jogging off in a place she barely knows so she chose this style.

Mrs Cayden car rode in, the driver got down and opened the door for her.

“Thank you ” Mrs Cayden smiled .

“Here! “She said throwing him the car keys .

” come early I don’t want to miss my flight ” she ordered.

“Okay ma’am” he said and bowed before leaving.

She faced the mansion and a smiled formed on her face.

“hope those two are asleep” she thought walking in.

“I just hope Ryan hasn’t ki||ed her” she chuckled walking upstairs .

Mrs Cayden went to Page’s room first ,opening the door gently but the sound of faint pants made her scared making her push the door quickly .

Page kept rolling on the bed her ,she was sweating badly her hands gripping the sheets as tears rolled down her eyes gently wetting her cheeks.

“No! No! Don’t hurt mum…mum!!!” she muttered gently that would make it hard for anyone to make up what she said.

Mrs cayden ran to her and sat beside her giving her gentle pats on her hair.

“Its okay baby ,am here it’s just a dream” Mrs cayden muttered Page stopped moving and gently flashed her eyes open her sparkling eyes was already red.

“Mum??” She muttered and hugged her immediately crying softly.

“Mom it..s ge..tting worst it hurts my chest hurts badly mom” she sniffed crying more.

“Am scared it keeps coming and I can..

“Its okay baby am here nothing will happen to you I promise ” Mrs cayden whispered visible tears In her eyes.

Page inhaled then stopped crying but held Mrs cayden tighter .

There was a long silence as if rememberimg everything that happened over the years.

“Did you take the drugs??”Mrs cayden finally said breaking the silence , page nodded .

“With milk??”

She nodded again.

Mrs cayden sighed the drugs weren’t having much effect any more ,she thought a bit scared.

“Am scared” page muttered again.

“come stay with me please”she pouted cutely.

“Seriously I can never say no with that face” mrs cayden said pulling gently at her cheeks.

She laid beside her and page immediately wrapped her hands around her .

“Nighty night “page pouted cutely and closed her eyes, Mrs cayden smiled and pat her hair.

“Baby??” Mrs cayden whispered to page who was still cuddled around her .

She wasn’t asleep not after that horrid dream at least not until the effects of the drug works again.

“Hmm??” she muttered then gently opened her eyes

This was what she was she had to take drugs before she could sleep like a normal human.

“Am travelling back” Mrs cayden said and Page lashes fluttered before pulling from her.

“Why??? I don’t want to go back ,I wanna get a job , no mum” She shaked her head in disapproval.

“Not you me”Mrs Cayden said softly rubbing her cheeks.

“Why?!?Page pouted.

“Have got work sweetheart and…

Page cut her off with a hug.

“Or you wanna leave me cos am too much to handle? “Page said.

“No baby….

“I understand I was just kidding I’ll miss you”page whispered .

“I’ll miss you more ,but I’ll drop by anytime” Mrs cayden said and page nodded.

“I can’t believe you’re leaving me here with him?” she muttered and scoffed.

“What’s that??” Mrs cayden asked .

“Nothing”page muttered her head on Mrs cayden laps.

Mrs cayden smiled.

He’ll get used to you I hope, she thought inwardly with a sigh.
