“where’s Rosy i’m f-__-king starving” Page mumbled walking down the stairs.

All the maids had gone and the whole house was silent.

“i saw them when i came back so why aren’t they here?” Page muttered.

“i told them to leave” Ryan muttered behind her and she flinched.

“You scared me!!” Page snapped.

He chuckled walking to the kitchen, his two hands tucked in his pocket.

“Why’d you ask Rosy to leave? And without cooking?” She pouted .

“i’ll be cooking diner tonight, so there was really no need for her” He muttered.

“you cook?” Page blinked and he nodded.

“So what’s your favorite food?”He asked and she immediately blinked out of thought.

” my favorite? “She muttered biting her lips slowly trying to get what she actually likes except ice cream and milk.

Weird right?

He walked closer and held her waist firmly deriving a gasp from her.

He placed her gently on the counter and smiled.

“looks like you love showing off strength”she smirked.

“i can’t help it when you’re this short and weightless” He muttered with a smirk.

“Short!” She scoffed.

He smiled bringing his palm to settle on her waist and she locked eyes with him.

“So what’s your favorite?” He asked.

“Everything” She said and his eyes went wide.

“you’re joking perhaps i cooked all the dishes there is in cali you’ll eat it all?” He said with a surprised look and she nodded.

“nature really cheated fat girls that don’t even eat up to you” He mumbled and she frowned.

“maybe next time, now lets make dinner not a food spree” He said and she nodded with a pout.

He winked and walked to the cabinet and began taking out ingredients placing them on the counter.

He washed his hands and began preparing some dishes.

He was already dressed in an apron and hair net and Page kept staring at his every movement.

How come he did everything so perfectly?

It was just as though every recipe was a chapter in his head perfectly and when it was time to cut the onions he wore a face mask and gloves which made him look like a perfect chef and with the way he moved only made him look more hot than he already was and it was really fun to watch and she didn’t notice when she began cheering cutely.

“Go Ryan the best chef in Cali!” She cheered but that was the only thing she said when her phone suddenly rang beside her.

“Baby tiger?” She muttered but before she could swipe to green Ryan snatched the phone from her and she stared at him with a raised brow.

“No phone allowed in the kitchen” He said and switched it off and dropped the phone way high on the cabinet.

“hey no rule states that so give it back?” She protested but he didn’t drop an ear to what she said and continued cooking.

She scoffed and jumped down slowly walking to him.

Instantly the sweet aroma hit her nose and she grinned.

“what are you cooking?” She asked and opened the pot the warm sweet scent hit her nose even more and she licked her lip cutely.

“Pasta it smells so nice like the ones they make at Amelia’s diner” She grinned.

“you weren’t there on your own” He muttered taking off the face mask.

“No cutie took me there” She said and Ryan brows furrowed.

“cutie?”

“Jayden” She said.

“why do you call him that he’s not that cute” He scoffed.

“He is” She said and he made an eye roll.

“Then what’s my name i’m obviously cuter” He scoffed.

She suddenly began laughing and he frowned and made to walk away but she immediately held his hand.

“Grumpy bear?” She pouted and he smiled.

“Grumpy bear?” He scoffed facing her.

“yes because your cold and grumpy on the outside but cute and cuddling inside” She grinned.

“So then who’s cuter?” He asked impatiently.

“Jayden is cute but you’re hot” She blurted and he smirked.

“Hot?” He grinned wider staring at her.

“your food is burning” she lied

“What the….

He said and when he opened it was perfectly fine but Page was gone.

“seriously?” He chuckled and walked out the kitchen.

“why did you run?” He asked Page who was staring at the screen in the living room.

“well since we’re waiting for the food to get ready let’s have fun”She smiled ignoring his question.

She picked up a remote and pressed a button and instantly the booming sound from the music player boomed loudly in the house and she began dancing crazily to the music.

Ryan kept staring at her with a plastered smile on his face at the way she moved her hands slowly moved to her hair and she gently pushed her fingers into it following the rhythm.

The foods sweet suddenly got to where they were and Ryan immediately ran into the kitchen.

She got deep into the music her eyes closed as she swayed her hips slowly to the music .

Ryan soon showed up in front of her and circled her waist with his palms.

She smiled and slowly placed her hands on his shoulders th-ru_sting her hips slowly like her whole
existence depended on it none of them breaking eye contacts till the music finally stopped.

“You’re f-__-king segzy when you dance” He whispered into her ear and she immediately hit him hard on the chest.

“f-__-k!!” He cussed holding his chest painfully.

She instantly remembered the injury and gasped fearfully holding his hands.

“are…are you okay ?” She panicked her hands shaking in his and he stood straight staring amusingly at the tears sliding down her red cheeks.

“i’m fine i was just kidding, i told you how bad you look when you cry so stop it” He muttered and cleaned her tears with his thumb.

She stared at his chest and back to his face and what she wanted to say instantly got tuck in her throat at just the sight of those eyes.

“can i see it, the spot you got shot” She muttered summoning up the courage but almost in a whisper and he raised a brow.

She bit her lips slowly fidgeting on the spot and he nodded.

She moved her fingers slowly to his shirt pulling out the first five buttons from the holes and his bandaged chest came to view and even though the bandage covered up almost everything you could still make the perfect shape of everything.

She touched it gently and stared back at him and he gently opened his wistful eyes locking it with hers but instead of pulling back she hugged him.

“Don’t ever take a bullet for my sake or anything else involving my pains” She pouted.

“is that suppose to be a thr_@t? It’s not happening” He scoffed and she smiled.

“Let’s eat” He said and pulled her to the dining.

He went to the kitchen and came back shortly with the dishes and she smiled cutely.

She opened the plater and her smile grew wider.

The pasta was well sauced with chilly sauce and chicken making it more mouth watering to resist.

“It looks so good” She smiled.

“It’s suppose to look good where do you think Amelia got her talent from?” He scoffed.

“Huh? You thought her?” She asked with raised brows.

“Literally every recipe she got was from me” He scoffed and Page giggled.

“you can’t be that good beside me” She winked and he rolled his eyes with a smirk.

“your wish” He muttered and sat down.

Page took a mouth full and instantly closed her eyes.

“Hmm! yummy” She Mõ@ɲed munching down the taste slowly and he smiled.

“stop making does sound ” He muttered and she stared up.

“Why?”

“It’s naughty” He muttered without looking at her and she pouted and continued eating gently.

**Donald’s suite**

Venom walked into Donald’s suite and the guards opened the door for him.

He walked in after and met him f-__-king one of his Ɓîtçhes while caressing the other gently.

“Boss” Venom said and Donald stopped to stare at him.

“i suppose the job was done?” He smirked and venom nodded.

“he wouldn’t even be able to breathe if he wants to i injected him two dose of the poison, so the job is as good as done” He smirked.

“And what about the girl? You could have ki||ed her on the spot” He snapped angrily.

“sorry sir but i couldn’t her boss came in after and the swat are presently on our tail so i couldn’t” He muttered and Donald sighed.

“that’s fine let her enjoy her moments of joy for a while just lay low and when it’s time i’ll give the go ahead” He said with a deadly smirk regally playing on his lips.

“Yes boss” Venom nodded.

Donald smiled wildly but it was short lived when Ace walked in.

Donald waved Venom off and he bowed before leaving fully and the Ɓîtçhes followed after leaving father and son with a glaring contest.

“Why did you let those kids go?” Donald snapped angrily.

“we didn’t the swat agency got hold of the location sooner than we thought” Ace said blankly and Donald started laughing crazily like a devil he was.

“You can’t fool me motherf_cker, you could have ki||ed them all if you wanted to but i guess i missed a spot in your training” Donald frowned.

Ace smirked and pushed his hands into his pocket to bring out a rose and threw it at him.

“I didn’t come back to help you steal children i wouldn’t have returned if i knew that’s what you wanted me for bastard!!” Ace shot.

“The deal was clear I do your dirty works and you find mum and sis!!”he snapped.

“Don’t raise your voice if you still love your bloody soul!” Donald glared.

“Don’t think you’re so smart i could end all your friends life with just a gunshot” Donald grinned menacingly.

Ace smirked slowly and pushed his hands back into his pocket.

“The rose is a gift dear father you can throw it in the trash and ever forget i gave you but if you hold it hostage and force your ways on it ,it’ll prick your boiling blood so chill” Ace said coldly and began walking towards the door.

“Don’t ever think of harming any of them or you’ll see something new, it’s a thr_@t” Ace smirked with a wink and walked out.

“That bastard !! but what else should i expect from a non blood he has to be more perfect than me but i swear i’ll cut those wings”He sneered but when something immediately flashed in his brain he stood up and walked to a closet were he brought out a dagger with a skull inscription on the body.

He picked his phone and dialed a number.

“Yes boss”

“Keep an eye him,and find out who’s the snitch here”he smirked and cut the call.

Brian opened his eyes gently adjusting to the immense light in the room and immediately his eye lid parted he flinched staring at the black figure in the room.

He broke his gaze away from the figure and immediately looked around.

“I’m alive?” He blinked and the figure kept staring quietly.

“Who are you?” He asked and the figure raised her hand to her hoody cap and dropped it down….Everly.

“Jinx?” He raised a brow and she smiled.

“i got the antidote in time , the poison is still in your veins but i made sure to give you the shots in time so you can thank me” She grinned and he nodded.

“Thanks but i would have been better if i died no use leaving like the dead” He muttered and she sighed sadly.

“Brian even if you didn’t want to leave i would still have saved you, we both came into this hell together and i couldn’t let you waste your life maybe it’s because we’ve got something in common, we lost everyone we love but that doesn’t mean it’s not worth leaving”She smiled.

“It’s never gonna end he’ll stop at nothing to get me out of the line since i left” He muttered.

“it will end, we either end it ourself we should stop hoping for otherwise”She smirked and turned to leave.

“Go very far, i sent you a location at the countryside he won’t find you there” She said.

“And the body they’ll suspect when they don’t confirm a dead body” Brian said.

“i’ll take care of it just be long gone by then. ” She muttered and wore her face cap before pulling the hoody up and left.

Brian sighed and checked his phone.

Page walked into the room with a smile and sat on the bed instantly a cold wind blew her window open and she gasped.

She draged her feet slowly to the window and shut it gently and immediately there was a huge pour.

“Rain? When did it start?” She muttered and just like fate had it bad at that time the lights blacked out and she flinched.

She hurriedly moved to her bed and switched her phone torch calming her breathes and immediately a loud thunder struck.

“Ahh!!.

She screamed and jumped under the duvet and instantly a bright lightning followed with another loud thud and she didn’t know when the tears began pouring out.

If there was one thing she h@ťěs that’s rain and darkness especially when she got horrid dream to deal with.

She kept shaking slowly hugging her teddy but immediately another thunder sounded she jumped up dejectedly and ran out of the room.

She kept walking slowly clutching tightly to her teddy till she got to Ryan’s room.

“it’s quiet what if he is asleep, i can’t wake him” She muttered and made to turn when.

“what are you doing?” Ryan said behind her and she flinched fearfully and turned quickly.

“you?” she said and he walked up the stairs so he’s standing right in front of her.

“why are you here?” He asked.

“i was sleeping but i decided to come check if you could sleep” She lied and bit her lips slowly and he raised a brow ,he knew she was obviously lying but to clear his doubt the thunder struck again even louder and she immediately ran into his arm hugging tightly to his chest.

The sound stopped and when she realized what she just did she pulled back quickly.

“you’re scared of the rain?” He said in disbelief
and she nodded gently.

“seriously how old are you?” He asked surprised staring amusingly at her frightened face.

“nineteen” She muttered.

“What!” He blinked but waved it off and held her hands pulling her to his room.

He opened the door and flicked on the lights and she immediately opened her eyes with a smile.

“it’s so bright” she smiled and he pulled her to the bed.

“Stay here” He muttered and walked to the windows and closed the curtains shut.

“maybe we should watch a movie it will take your mind off the rain?” He muttered and she nodded and laid fully on the bed her eyes following his every step.

He switched on the screen tv and immediately joined her on the bed.

She turned to stare at him and he smiled, she returned it.

“wait it’s the new movie? “she grinned and he nodded.

They watched it quietly and when it got to a scary part she closed her eyes and held his hand subconsciously.

He turned and smiled staring at her clunged lashes, she opened her eyes slowly and their eyes locked they kept the contact for a while and Ryan raised his hands to her face and pushed the tendrils of hair slowly behind her ear.

He smiled and turned back to the tv but she didn’t stop staring at him with a cute smile till she suddenly fell asleep.

He turned and found her asleep still facing him and he smiled slowly.

“frightened kitten” He whispered and also fell asleep.
