Mateo was seated on a king seized seat ,his legs crossed against each other as he puffed arrogantly on his pipe the door to the suite suddenly opened and an average man walked in slowly his smile giving dangerously strong aura and the scar just beneath his eyes made him look even more like that of a demon.

“B..b.boss??”Mateo stammered breathlessly.

He kept his wicked grin staring at Mateo who was now dying under pressure of heat coming from his body and the sweat falling slowly reveling his frightened eyes.

He sat down right in front of Mateo and crossed his legs against each other and venom stood just few inches away his rifle directed just above Mateo head.

“Boss what brings you here?”Mateo stuttered taking each sec to look at Venom.

“The deal we had why haven’t any of the goods being shipped in properly? You don’t expect me to keep you alive if you’re of no use to me?”Panta glared and Venom following his boss every action raised the rifle and flicked his fingers on the trigger but Panta raised a hand and he stopped.

“Am s..so sorry boss it will all be shipped in tomorrow I swear it!”Mateo begged on his knees and Panta smirked.

“That’s what I like to see”He smirked and stood up.

“Just twenty four hours fix the deal with the French men”Panta muttered and exit the suite.

Mateo fell back holding his chest hard.

“Just for a while Donald I’ll show you!”Mateo muttered squeezing the burning cigarette in his palm.

Page kept hugging tightly to her blood stained teddy sobbing gently and staring at Ryan’s ward the door suddenly opened and the doctor came out.

“Doc how is he? Is he okay?”Page asked and the doctor nodded.

“Yes but he is still asleep is there anything wrong this is the second time he’s here?”The doctor said.

“No nothing are his fingers okay now?”she muttered.

“Just a bit but he should know he’s a human he shouldn’t keep getting hurt like this”Doctor said and she nodded.

“You can go inside”he said and walked away and Page gently opened the door and walked in closing it behind her slowly .

She walked to his bed side and the tears started falling freely.

“Please wake up grumpy bear am dying of guilt here… please”She muttered sobbing gently.

“Wh..y…why do you keep getting in the way it’d had been better if it was me there then I wouldn’t have to face so much guilt”She cried more and Ryan groaned making her look up.

“Ryan?”She muttered and immediately hugged him and he sat up gently.

“You’re awake ?”She said hugging him gently not to hurt him.

“Why wouldn’t I ,when you keep crying I couldn’t even die if I want to”He smirked and she hit him gently

“It’s my fault I shouldn’t be anywhere near you I lost everyone already and now you’re facing all this because of me why do you keep getting in the way it’d had better if it had been me instead”She said and Ryan placed his fingers on her lips to shut her up.

“I didn’t die i never said i would and your not gonna face anything alone ever ,I’m here nothing is gonna happen ,so stop crying you look ugly this way”He frowned and used his thumb to wipe her tears away right now it was hard to resist kissing the tears away with the way she kept staring at him and she smiled lightly.

He stared at the head band he gave her the fact that she never tried taking it off ever since made him smile.

“I got something for you it’ll make you happy”he said and brought out a box and immediately he opened it Page eyes couldn’t help but twinkle.

It’s a pearl necklace with a golden pendant,specially made.

He wore it round her neck and she kept smiling cutely at the gorgeous jewel.

“I love it how did you know I love pearls?”She gushed and he smiled .

He didn’t guess he actually love pearls.

“Why are you doing all this?”She muttered staring at him.

“Don’t you know?” he whispered senselessly staring deeply into her eyes and she kept quiet as they kept staring intensively at each other lost in their own words.

He eyes trailed down her lips and he gulped down. Just staring at those strawberry lips was driving his nuts .

She kept staring at his too and once they both locked eyes again,he slammed his lips hungrily on hers.

Her eyes went wide but with the way his soft lips kept moving on hers it didn’t take another second before she closed her eyes and began reciprocating.

Her whimpered sounds came softly into his lips and he smiled and tugged gently on her lower lips ,she slowly opened up and his tongue reached out for hers savouring the vanilla taste of her lips in a more hungry way and she lost her breathe at this point they were both deep in their own world when the door suddenly opened and Page immediately broke the kiss and pushed him off and Amelia rushed in.

“Oh!! My mentor it’s really true? Are you hurt ?hope you’re fine hope you aren’t gonna die?”Amelia cried dramatically and Page immediately burst out in laughter.

“I’m fine Lia “Ryan groaned and Andy,Ace,Emma and Joceyln walked in.

“Ryan!!”Jocelyn gasped staring at his bloody clothes.

“Oh my!! Ryn what happened hope you aren’t badly hurt?”Ace said faking tears.

“Oh great another drama queen”He scoffed and they all laughed.

“Are you sure your okay cos on the news they made it seem like you died”Andy asked.

“Page cried so much I thought you actually died”Emma grinned and Amelia smacked his head.

Jocelyn walked to Ryan’s bedside with a worried look.

“Are you sure you don’t need anything” Jocelyn asked stretching her hand to touch him but Ryan immediately pushed it off gently

“I don’t need anything am fine”he rolled his eyes and Jocelyn stood motionless for a while then glared at Page before walking out.

“I’m fine you all don’t have to wait I’m really fine”Ryan muttered.

“Yes of course that’s why you got shot in the first place cos once someone feels too comfortable with their life they try crazy stunts”Ace smirked and everyone laughed especially Page.

“You too? I saved your life”Ryan scoffed and Page smiled.

“I didn’t say anything but you shouldn’t have I’m used to getting pains”She said and Amelia smiled lightly.

“Seriously this is what I missed, everyone smiling I don’t know if it’s only me but I miss high school”Ace said.

“I swear I don’t know who should be crowned international play boy addict anymore”Amelia shook her head.

“These days he barely goes out so I think it’ll be Ace for now”Emma said and Ace laughed.

“So who is she?”Ryan asked .

“Ruby she works for you”Emma said and Ryan smirked ,Page eyes widened and Amelia stayed froze .

“You had to come steal from my company I can’t blame you I only work with beauty and brains” Ryan smirked and for an unknown feeling page face redden a bit.

“He means you’re dumb”Ace smirked .

“We’ll see whose is dumb when am done thrashing that freak face of yours”Emma smirked and removed his slippers and they began running around Ryan’s bed.

Amelia walked out the ward and kept fidgeting with her fingers.

“Melly are you okay?”Ace asked.

“Yah I’m alright “she muttered.

“You looked surprised that she’s dating”Ace said and Amelia nodded.

“I’ve decided not to meet her i want her to live her normal life ,I didn’t expect her to date my friend” She muttered and Ace sighed.

“Do you really think she would hug you if she found out you knew and didn’t come for her?”Ace said and she sighed.

Bruce came down from the car and looked around to see if he was being followed and walked into the cafe.

It was half filled and he kept staring around then his eyes suddenly caught the lady in black coat at a corner and he walked to her and sat in front of her.

“It took you long enough,you’re the one that needed the info?”She scoffed.

“Sorry”He muttered and she tilted her head gently to gaze at the car he came with earlier and since the cafe is all glass she could see it.

“Nice car you’ve got there”She smiled.

“It’s my bosses”He muttered.

“So when is it? the next shipping” he asked plainly.

“They have a new meeting route ,I’ll text you the location ,you can catch them there and save the kids being shipped in”She whispers leaning on the table.

“And here”She muttered and dropped a card on the table it’s a print of the French company line handling the shipping.

“Okay ….but how do you know all this?”Bruce raised his brows.

“I guess I’m a bad eaves dropper”she grinned but he knew it didn’t answer his questions.

“Where is your home? Our team are gonna start a security surveillance just to make sure you’re life isn’t on the line”Bruce said.

“Nah to much attention for a baddie like me who love attention”She smiled and stood up.

“But you know it’s not safe the Mafias are smart they’ll eventually find out you’re the informant,isn’t that huge risk ?”Bruce questioned with furrowed brows.

“Don’t worry about me agent ,my life alone is a risk so I go where the wind takes me “She muttered and began walking.

“Then why are you doing all this? You refused payment and now safety?”

“It’s for the innocent kids and let’s just say am a heroine”She smiled and left leaving Bruce with so many questions.

“Who is she?

What’s her motive and why? “He kept sorting out these questions in his brain with the feeling he wouldn’t meet her again. So the questions still gonna remain a mystery.

“So your saying she just left like that,you didn’t even try to know if she was on our side”Anthony scoffed.

“If she wasn’t on our side she would have found her way to me”Bruce snapped.

“Well what if it’s a trap they know we are searching for them obviously ,so this is a possible mind game to trap us”Anthony said and Bruce rolled his eyes.

“Well it’s not!”Bruce snapped.

“It could be Bruce but it’s not that easy to get such information and to think she didn’t take anything in return?”Teresa said and Bruce scoffed.

“I knew you won’t believe me and you’ll obviously take your lovers side”Bruce said and Anthony immediately pushed him.

“Bruce!!!

“You know what? I’m out of here you two do what you want when you want i trust my guts and i’m gonna follow it ,you two really wanna find those kids you wouldn’t have been bothered if we get trapped or not it’s our job,miss I can manage your issues but not he’s so bye”Bruce yelled furiously and threw her car key to her and walked out slamming the door hard behind him.

“W..hat…..what just happened? He didn’t quit right?”Teresa blinked and Anthony ruffled his hair.

Bruce opened the car and came down and walked into his apartment. Teresa entered after closing the door and Bruce raised a brow.

“You know this is my apartment right?”Bruce muttered .

“Thought you left”She muttered biting her lips.

“I came to pack my stuffs I’ll be out by tommorow I won’t be any trouble for you two”He muttered and started packing up some files.

“Bruce …stop please why are you doing all this deciding to quit after walking with me for four years?”she said with pleading eyes.

“Exactly. Four years but you never really valued it and ever since Anthony came I was of no use so let’s leave it this way ”
He muttered coldly and Resa bite her lips and suddenly mustered up some courage.

“Wha.. What do you think he is to me?”Teresa asked and Bruce stopped packing for a while then sighed.

“Miss Teresa I don’t think it’s polite to be discussing about your private life”Bruce said and Teresa sighed.

“Stop calling me miss Teresa”she said.

“And why? “Bruce raised a brow and faced her .

“I seriously don’t know but just don’t”She said and he nodded still packing and she immediately grabbed his hand and he stared down at the connected hands.

“Why are you really doing all this ? I…I don’t want you to leave”She muttered and Bruce kept staring at her.

“Because you obviously want to move on and I can’t stand it ,I h@ťě it when he touches you or gets close to you”He muttered and she blinked making her look cute he kept staring at those cute lips and he got lost.

If he was gonna leave he might as well taste the lips he’d been yearning for all these years,he thought and slowly moved his lips to hers and began kissing her slowly ,her eyes stayed widened on their connected lips and he slowly moved back .

“I’m sorry forget I said anything I’m going crazy you really shouldn’t have come here”He said and turned to leave but Teresa immediately held his wrist and stood on her toes and closed her eyes shut and without thinking slammed her lips on his hungrily and his eyes widened but the warmth of her soft lips took control of his senses and he closed his eyes shut reciprocating hungrily to the fast and hot kiss.

There tongues slashing soundly in each others mouth.

Bruce dropped her on the couch gently and laid on top her kissing her neck senselessly.

“Don’t stop please”Teresa said softly pulling him closer.
