“f-__-k!!”He spat and just then Ryan walked in and his eyes widened just as much.

“What the f-__-k!!”He spat with wide eyes and he rushed in quickly.

“What the hell happened “Ryan yelled and Anthony bent slowly to the lifeless corpse.

“She was murdered ,who ever she worked for knew she’ll spill the truth soon or maybe she was a weak thr_@t”Anthony said and roughed his hair in frustration.

“$h|t!!”Ryan said.

“So what do we do we’ve got to find the bastard”Ryan muttered slowly gazing at the lying corpse.

“We still got some chances just keep her safe”Anthony muttered.

Ryan nodded gently and walked out of the room with his two hands in his pocket and his body suddenly hit someone .

He didn’t see the guy face behind the hoody ,so he just kept walking but suddenly stopped when he felt someone watching him ,he turned and when he didn’t see anyone ,he kept walking out .

Amelia walked in slowly rubbing her sleeping eyes and immediately she got to the sitting room she fell and hit hear head .

“Ouw!!”She groaned rubbing her head.

“Amelia are you okay,you could have seriously gotten hurt why do you always act crazy?”Emma scolded and Amelia shook her head .

“What I’m I supposed to do with my life I’ve got three diners to run every single day with equal attention am bound to act crazy”Amelia pouted.

He got interrupted by the ringing of his phone it was Ruby calling.

“Sorry gat to go”He grinned and ran off.

“Seriously no one cares about me anymore”She scoffed and made to stand up when she saw Andy in front of her and she blinked.

He stood still with his hands stretched out towards her staring blankly at her.

She took his hand and he helped her up gently.

“Thanks”She muttered and he nodded and turned to leave.

“Andy?”she said and he stopped.

“Are you okay, you’re acting glumy and you only act that way when your sick”She muttered.

“Why do you care?”He scoffed and continued walking, she ran and held his hand making him face her .

Her eyes immediately widened on the feeling of his skin,he was burning up.

She stopped talking when their eyes locked and he gently pulled her hand off.

“I prepared your dinner ,Ryan didn’t come”He muttered and left .

“Why is he acting cold? He is literally burning he is obviously mad for some reason so how will I help him if he is this unusually cold”She mumbled and bit her lips.

“I seriously need to get everybody together am missing everyone so bad”She muttered sadly.

“What! How the f-__-k did she die?”Jocelyn snapped throwing death glares at the guy who stood before her.

“Get out!!”She yelled pushing everything in her way.

Page walked out of the bathroom and walked to her wardrobe,she put on a nightie and sighed.

She climbed her bed and she suddenly thought of Ryan.

“Where is he? He’s been busy all day “she thought.

Immediately after the meeting earlier Ryan left and since then she hasn’t seen him and it only made her tensed for some reason.

“Why is everywhere so boring? Am I missing him? “She thought.

“Nah!”She shook her head and got down from the bed and walked downstairs.

“Ma’am you’re awake?”Rosy said .

“Is he back yet?”She asked and Rosy shook her head.

“Maybe he’s with his friends” She muttered and Page nodded.

“And you? You’re still here you’ve already done all you’re supposed to so go home,I’ll take care of the dishes” Page said.

“No ma’am I’ll just do them quick and leave” Rosy said.

“I’ve got nothing doing Rosy I’ll do it”Page protested and Rosy nodded.

“Thanks ma’am your the best”Rosy grinned and winked making Page chuckle.

“I already told you to stop calling me ma’am.”Page groaned.

“No way you want me dead ma’am and sir will ki|| me”Rosy said with a serious look and Page chuckled.

“Good night my lady!”Rosy bowed with a cute smile and ran out.

Page walked into the kitchen and began washing and dry cleaning all the plates, in six minutes she was done and dried her hand with a towel and left the kitchen and just then the door opened and Ryan walked in and he furrowed his brows when he saw her.

“You’re still awake?”Ryan said.

“I was too bored to sleep I couldn’t sleep”She pouted and he sighed tiredly.

“Are you okay? You’ve been busy all day and didn’t even eat before leaving the office”She said.

“I went to the Swat head quarters, Elsa was murdered”Ryan muttered and she gasped with wide eyes.

“We don’t know who murdered her but the person obviously ki||ed her so we won’t get to them”He muttered staring at her.

She suddenly felt the cold sudden fear slipping into her the fear behind does close walls began creeping out slowly .

Why does she suddenly feel so scared?

Could it be what she’s thinking?

No it can’t be him ,he doesn’t know where she is “She thought calming her already shaky body.

“Are you okay?”Ryan asked and she nodded ,he kept staring at her ,she was obviously reeking in fear.

“You’re bored right so let’s go to the film $h00t there is a new $h00t this evening for the new movie”Ryan said and Page gasped but it immediately turned to a wide grin.

“Yes! Let me go change!! Three minutes”She said and ran to her room , soon she came down and Ryan eyes kept moving around the cutie in front of him.

She wore a pink long sleeved crop top and a short flay skirt hugging her butt and free on the thighs, her hair packed in two pony tails ,she wore the hoody in her hand quickly and smiled.

“I’m ready”She smiled and Ryan blinked.

“Yah let’s go “he muttered and she immediately walked to him ,he held her hand and they left.

The car stopped in front of a big building and Ryan came out Page came down after and within seconds he was being gathered by some reporters.

🗣️ gosh he’s really here!
Some guards suddenly came and guarded there way in.

“I doubt they ever sleep”Ryan muttered and Page giggled.

“Obviously haven’t you heard the news never sleeps”She said staring around the set everything is so glamorous and everyone was set already.

“He’s here!”The director said and everyone got in place .

“Stay close”Ryan muttered and she nodded and found a place to sit ,soon the filming $h00t began and everywhere went silent except the people being filmed and Page kept smiling all through.

The rest of the drive was silent till the car stopped and Page looked up.

“What’s wrong?”Ryan asked .

“Sorry sir the car stopped”Alex said.

“Why didn’t you check it before we left”Ryan snapped .

“Sorry sir”Alex muttered and Ryan rolled his eyes.

“It’s fine we’ll just walk,I’ll get to see California clearly “Page said and they both got down form the car.

“Get the car fixed we’ll be around”Ryan said and Alex nodded

They started walking slowly both hands in there pockets as they walked down the long empty road, the night breeze blowing their hair and only the chirping of the birds could be heard from miles away.

Page bit her lips slowly pushing her right hand deeper into the oversized hoody and her left hand clutching tightly on a bottled water.

“So why do you take drugs to sleep?”Ryan said getting her off guard and she turned to him with a raised brow.

“You never told me about your self,I know my mom brought you home but you never said anything about your ….past”Ryan muttered staring at the trees.

“You never asked”She muttered feeling a bit uncomfortable.

“Well what about now?”He asked and she sighed.

“It’s fine if you don’t want to talk about it but you trust me right?”He said and she looked at him for a while for some reason the guy standing right next to her made her feel safer she’d never even had replied if anyone asked about her past but him……

A little nine year old girl sat quietly painting a picture of what looked like a family ,mom, dad and a little girl.

She pushed the paint brush into the pallette and smiled cutely with paint smeared all over her face.

“Done!”She giggled and a middle aged lady walked in.

“Mom!”She gushed and immediately ran into her mum arms.

“I missed you so much mum!”She gushed.

“My baby I missed you so much”Mrs Rochelle smiled and hugged her more tightly.

“You’re early from work today”She asked.

“You asked me to spend the weekend with you so I had to squeeze in a few things so I got a day off from the hospital” Mrs Rochelle said and she smiled cutely

“Wow my baby is really good at painting” Mrs Rochelle smiled checking out the painting and she giggled.

“Come paint with me mum”She said and immediately gave her mum a brush and they began painting.

They kept giggling at every funny masterpiece they made and soon began painting each other.

Some cars suddenly drove into the mansion and she sprang up.

“Mom! Dad is back!!”Page gushed staring out the window and Mrs Rochelle stared behind her.

“Not only dad he’s business partners are here,so mummy have to go,stay here and promise me no matter what happens don’t come downstairs until I come back”Mrs Rochelle said and she nodded cutely.

Mrs Rochelle smiled and pecked her head.

“I love you baby always”She said.

If only she knew that would be the end of her world then maybe she would never have let her go,but it all happened suddenly………

“Bang!!! “Where the next sounds heard followed by screams and she tried so much to keep herself calm but when she heard her mom screams she ran downstairs and the next sight she saw kept her paralyzed in shock .

Her mum covered in her own blood struggling to free herself from the men holding her down on her knees, her dad at the other side also on his knees blood covered his face that one wouldn’t recognise the once perfect face and then she saw the devil right in front of her,it was him the guy she spotted earlier.

“No!! Go back!! Run!!! Baby!!!”Mrs Rochelle kept screaming but she couldn’t move.

“Looks like my toy finally joined us”The devil smirked and pulled the trigger sending countless bullet into Mrs Rochelle and she coughed out blood.

“B..aby m…mummy loves you. Run!”she stuttered and dropped dead and just then the police showed up and they all began running out except father and daughter and he immediately faced her when the police rushed in.

“Are you okay?”one asked and that was when it all began clearing out as a reality.

“And that was it I got traumatized for some months and that was when your mom took me away from some monsters who where supposed to be caretakers ,but the other kids tortured me instead,they even drew a tattoo “she muttered fighting back the tears .

“And your dad?”He asked gently staring at her

“They kept chasing us and we kept running but dad gave up and he got ki||ed right in front of me, the monster he did everything to make me what I am ,I can’t even sleep at night cos he’s always in my dreams he…

She stopped and broke down in tears and Ryan immediately hugged her .

“I’m sorry i shouldn’t have asked It’s okay….

“I never told anyone,I tried building up walls around them, I didn’t want the police to find out they’ll have reopened those nightmares even more I was so scared I swear I almost lost it”She cried louder.

“It’s okay I promise no one will ever hurt you again”He whispered stroking her hair gently and she broke the hug.

“I don’t know why but I trust you more than myself ,it’s safer when you’re around maybe that’s why I told you”She mumbled .

“And what about your boyfriend?” He said and Page stared at him with raised brows.

“Never had one”She muttered and he blinked,

“Why are you looking at me that way ,never had one”She muttered.

“Not even a crush or bestie ”

“Nope it was safer to be alone and you? You obviously had girls dying for you”she blurted.

“Yah but never really liked any”He muttered.

“So you also didn’t have a girlfriend? What about Jocy she’s obviously head over heels crazy for you” She grinned and Ryan rolled his eyes.

“Don’t talk about her”Ryan said and she smirked.

“Why? Juicy past I need to know about? To think of it you guys make the best couples” She teased and Ryan groaned and walked faster than her leaving her behind.

“Ryan wait don’t leave me here!!!”she said running after him but he didn’t stop.

“Grumpy bear!!!” She screamed and that was when he stopped and immediately she got closer he turned around and she gasped at how close their face were and squeezed the bottle and the water splashed on his face,dripping down his hair.

He stared at her with a serious look and she began laughing loudly.

“I know I said you’re grumpy but I swear you look worst right now”She laughed more.

Ryan snaked his hand round her waist and pulled her closer their faces just an inch from touching and she kept staring at his red lips then her eyes met his and everything froze she kept breathing slowly ,zoned out already

He gently moved his hand to hers and took the bottle and before she understood what was happening he poured all the water on her head and she moved back gasping with shock smiling and he smirked.

“Let’s go “he said .

“I’ll die of cold “She pouted walking beside him.

“It will dry up soon “He smirked and she scoffed.

They walked a few miles and Page suddenly spotted a park and her eyes widened with a gasp Ryan turned to stare at her and she bit her lips childishly then he looked at the park.

“You wanna go there?”he asked and she nodded impatiently.

“Yes can we?”She pouted cutely and he nodded she smiled and they walked into the park.

it’s just opposite a cinema and everyone was flocking in and out, as they girls kept making eyes at Ryan and Page rolled her eyes hissing inwardly.

👥 she’s obviously he’s lil sis ,another one said loudly so she could hear and she fisted her hands tightly and made to go meet her but Ryan pulled her back.

“Are you serious right now,you’re not gonna beat her up and tell her your my p.a are you?”he chuckled.

“They called me your lil sis!”She snapped and Ryan smiled loving the look on her face.

“You obviously have eyes on her that’s why your smiling,why
don’t go meet her do I look like a lil sis!”She snapped and Ryan smiled leaning closer.

“Then show them you’re not my p.a but a jelly girlfriend” He whispered and she blinked he smiled and held her hand interlocking their fingers and started waking.

She kept staring at their interlocked fingers and slowly .

They kept walking and Page smiled when she saw a game zone it was blocked up by couples the guys played while the girls chant their names behind them,Ryan followed her eyes and stared at the game but she was actually staring at the teddy bear hung up for winning prizes.

“Do you want it?”He said and Page faced him quickly and nodded.

“But? I doubt you’ll win it looks really hard “She muttered and he scoffed.

“I never lose a game ,I’d probably win everything”He smirked and she also gave a smirk.

“Let’s see “she rolled her eyes.

“If i win a teddy I get a …”he stopped and smirked.

“What?

“Never mind I’ll tell after the game,you’ll just have to do it when I win”He winked and that action kept her wondering.

Ryan walked into the gaming space and immediately all the girls attention went to him as he started playing.

It got worst when he won most of the prizes they kept screaming and blushing at every game he won and the guys gave him deadly glares from every point the screams muffled up but Page’s was the loudest she kept screaming and clapping cheerfully followed by laughters at every win and some girls kept hissing but that didn’t stop her crazy screams and it only made him want to play more.

Soon he had won all the prizes and stucked his hand into his pocket with a smirk and the other ran through his hair,he walked out of the gaming space and it only gave a clear view to the girls drooling foolishly making segzy faces at him.

He walked closer to Page and her heart suddenly stopped beating.

“Sir where should I put all these?”Alex who had been standing there asked with a surprised look.

He had actually fixed the car and came looking for them when he found them here.

“Put them all in the car if it doesnt fit the car ask Felix to get the other cars,It’s for her……….so what’s my gift for winning all the teddies here?”He whispered the last sentence into her ear and her heart kept beating fast at the feel of his lips on her ear.

He leaned in and in a sec pulled her closer to him and that was when her brain clicked back.

He leaned closer and took her lips in a slow pace and her eyes went wide ,he bite her lips softly and moved back almost immediately.

“It’s just a peck don’t look that surprised”He smirked ,she stood there dumbstruck her heart sinking deeply.

“Let’s go it’s late”he said and gave her two teddy bears that was when she snapped out, her face and cheeks already turned hot red from the effect and she immediately ran off,Ryan chuckled walking closely behind her but she kept moving fast.

“Cute”He smiled and bit his lips then something suddenly got his attention and his eyes went wide.

“f-__-k!”He cursed and immediately ran to Page and just then…

*Bang! Bang!!* a gun fired twice and someone suddenly dropped uncousious making everyone run for shelter.

Page turned quickly and her dropped when she saw Ryan in his pool of blood.

“Ryan? Grumpy bear!!!”Page screamed falling on her knees roughly her shaky hands moving slowly on his bloody chest as everyone kept pushing there way out
