“Couch potato??!!” Page gasped shockingly and ~ Mr Williams eyes went wide enough to pop.

“You witch!!”Mr Williams said glaring h@ťěfully at Page and she immediately found herself laughing while Ryan just stared confused.

“Still mad I see? Looks like i didn’t hit you enough”Page smirked and Mr Williams glared darkly and faced Ryan.

“Who is she??”Mr Williams asked still glaring.

“My p.a”Ryan muttered utterly confused.

“Do you two know each other?”Ryan asked.

“Well your bad Mr Cayden cause I could never possibly make an alliance with you because of this witch!”Mr Williams glared half yelling and Ryan eyes widened.

“Heh!! buenchwai(idiot)!! Am not the useless lump of couch potato here so stop yelling!!”Page glared and Ryan would have laughed if this wasn’t about business right now so he pulled Page’s hand.

“Are you crazy do you wanna drive him away? Or what?”Ryan snapped and Page rolled her eyes.

“No Mr Cayden no apology can rectify her insult the deal is cancelled”Mr Williams said ready to leave and Page bit her lips.

Now she’s done for,but its not her fault how would he dare touch her the last time”She thought and her eyes widened.

“Wait!!”Page shouted just when he was out and Ryan turned to her.

Mr Williams made a halt on his tracks turning back to Page who took slow and fancy steps towards him with a smirk on her face.

“Mr Williams you can’t just cut off the alliance”Page said cutely as though she was going to apologise and Mr Williams smirked.

“Now you come begging?”Mr Williams smirked proudly.

“Me apologise to you,eww! I’d rather die a miserable death ”

Page leaned to his ear.

“if you break off the alliance I might have no choice but to go tell the Fso(female safety organisation)that you tried to molest a little harmless girl who came for an interview”Page smirked and Ryan furrowed his brows.

“Are you thr_@tening me!You insolent!!

“No am making a deal am sure am not the only helpless soul you tried to touch but i guess i was your last,don’t you feel ashamed ,you wouldn’t want the world to here this right am a writer so never underestimate my pen”Page said cutely her fingers twirling round her hair, but it was obviously a thr_@t.

Mr Williams swallowed emptiness and Page smiled.

“So it’s a deal right?”Page pouted .

Mr Williams kept mute he knew this lady standing right here was obviously childish but she wasn’t bluffing.

Page walked to the desk and brought some papers ,she handed it to him with a pen and without thinking twice he signed it,she smiled knowingly .

“Thanks for your cooperation Mr Williams we will be looking forward to meeting again”Page smirked and with that Mr Williams marched out.

Page breathed out heavily, she didn’t actually expect him to fall for it but he did.

She smiled and turned to Ryan who just stared at her.

“Hey why are you staring at me that way,I know I can be really convincing”She winked and handed the papers to him.

“Your seriously crazy how could he be scared of you?”Ryan laughed and she smiled it was her turn to stare.

“So? What now am really bored there’s no scheduled work for today”Page pouted.

“Then I guess everyone has a day off” Ryan muttered and walked out the office with Page behind him .

“Congratulations boss!!!!!!!!”The workers cheered throwing flowers and clapping ,they knew about the forged alliance already,Page winked at Ruby and she winked back.

Ryan stood at the center of all the employees and the whole hall went silent.

“Thank you all for your diligent hard work ,we wouldn’t have done it if we hadn’t work together so everyone has a day off go celebrate and bills are on me, my p.a will be representing me”Ryan said and an uproar clap came again.

Ace walked downstairs slowly and suddenly his phone rang.

“Sir,boss wants you to meet with him “Venom said.

“Okay “Ace muttered and cut the call .

He was wearing a casual black hoody and black pants so he just entered the car and drove out speeding.

He drove into a huge mansion and the guards bowed at his presence,he came down and started walking to the door his hands tucked in his pocket and sighed.

He actually thought all this was over when his dad sent him away but now he wants him back,obviously to do his dirty work,Ace hissed .

“Welcome boss”they chorused and bowed down as he walked in,he reached the entrance and pressed in the pass code and the door opened.

“You said you wanted to meet me ?”Ace muttered standing right in front of the one person he h@ťěd with everything he had but not like he had a choice.

Mr Donald smiled .

“Since my son wasn’t ready to see me I had to ask him to come”Mr Donald said with a smile and flicked his finger immediately a maid brought two cups of wine and gave one to Ace he reluctantly took it and sat down .

“So what do you want ,you sent me away so why do you need me now?”Ace asked sternly keeping a keen eye contact with him.

“Can’t I call my son over to celebrate?”Mr Donald said with a mischievous smile.

“But actually I called you here cause I want you to take over the business”Donald said and Ace’s furrowed his eyes .

“And why? I warned you not to make me apart of your world don’t you ever think of it!”Ace snapped and stood up.

“Then I guess there’s no use keeping your friends alive especially her”Donald smirked playing with the rings on his knuckles.

“Don’t you dare,stay away from them, I did everything you wanted!!”Ace yelled glaring at him h@ťěfully.

“Not everything?”Donald said and Ace tightened his fist.

“Fine but if you go near any of them I’ll ki|| you I promise”Ace warned and walked out.

Anthony kept drinking from a cup walking round the room when suddenly the door opened and Bruce walked in gently.

“So found anyone?”Anthony muttered .

“No they seem to have noticed we are on their tail”Bruce muttered and walked to the freezer and brought out a drink.

“So we’ll just wait ,they can’t keep the act up for long”Anthony said.

“I hope so”Bruce muttered .

“Where is Resa?”Anthony suddenly asked and Bruce blinked .

“Resa??”

“Teresa”Anthony muttered.

“Oh.. She was invited to the Governor’s daughter party”Bruce muttered .

“we are supposed to work this together right? She hasn’t changed one bit”Anthony scoffed.

Ruby and Page walked into the bar they all decided to go there since it wasn’t far from the company by now the workers where all busy drinking and cheering happily.

“Come on doll let’s go am so happy we’ll have so much fun”Ruby chuckled pulling Page in then suddenly someone bumped into them making them crash to the floor.

“Ouch!!”Page winched.

“Bloody!!….. You?”Ruby blinked .

“Am sorry didn’t see you there”Brian said and Page mouth fell open .

“You talk?? I thought you’re always mute”Page blurted and Ruby nudged her and Brian only stared at her before walking out leaving them on there but*s.

“Is he always that way?”Page muttered staring at his retreating figure.

“Always ,I don’t like him one bit he creeps me out”Ruby muttered and her finger traced to her neck.

“Where is my necklace? I can’t find it !!”Ruby said worriedly and Page looked around.

“It must have fallen off when I fell”Ruby muttered tears misting up in her eyes as they both looked around .

Page looked at a corner and saw a silver shine ,she bent down and picked it.

It’s a half heart shape silver locket.

“Is this is? “Page said admiring it Ruby immediately took it and wore it back.

“Yes! Thanks so much you’re really the best besti ever”Ruby smiled warmly and Page chuckled and they walked in and took a seat in a corner near the bartendar.

“But why is it so important?”Page muttered staring at the jewel round her neck.

“It’s the only family i have am an orphanage I didn’t have a dad or mum ,I didn’t even know how my real parents look like all I was told is that I got abandoned and this necklace was the only thing they left me with,it’s a locket it has a picture of a girl that’s meant to be me but she’s different even her smile is different “Ruby muttered and gently opened the locket.

Ruby was right the girl looked a bit different from Ruby ,she didn’t have her brown eyes but they both had similar hair color and the little girl also wore a silver locket.

“She’s so cute”Page pouted and Ruby chuckled but soon it turned to a sad sigh.

“Maybe she’s your twin? Uh I adore twins double the cuteness”Page gasped cutely.

“Maybe but it’s obvious she doesn’t want to have anything to do with me”Ruby muttered.

“Why would you say that everyone would love my star fire”Page pouted.

“It’s been twenty years already sometimes I just feel so f-__-king lonely”Ruby muttered.

“Well now that your doll is here ,she’s not gonna let her starfire stay alone,come on star let’s celebrate it’s a work free day!!”Page screamed cutely and Ruby chuckled.

“Two drinks please one soft I don’t drink”Page said to the bartender .

“Why? come on drink with me”Ruby pouted.

“I can’t it’s gonna affect my medicines”Page muttered.

“Oh.. You didn’t tell me how you got here come on tell me you promised”Ruby pleaded and Page sighed .

Minutes later, Ruby kept pouring drinks down her already sore throat while Page stared at her.

“Ruby I think you should stop you’ll get drunk”Page said worriedly but Ruby wasn’t listening she was more concerned on drinking till her head pops and now slow tears fell down her face, she was full blown drunk she made to take another glass but Frankie grabbed the cup from her .

“Are you crazy?, why drink so much” Frankie scolded taking the bottle away from the table as well.

“Why do you care huh?”Ruby snapped.

“No one cares anyway so why waste your time ,they all abandon me with the slightest chance they get”Ruby said drunkly pointing her fingers at Page and Frankie.

“She’s gone now,no hope let’s take her home”Frankie shaked his head and Page nodded they went to her both sides and helped her up the chair and walked her gently out of the bar but as soon as they got out she slipped from Page’s hand and hit her head on the door.

“Sorry”Page muttered and took her hands again.

“I h@ťě my life”She snarled rubbing her head.

They got to Frankie’s car and he opened the back door for them before going in front.

Soon they were at Ruby’s apartment and it was easy since he already knew where she lives.

Frankie got down and opened the door helping her down while Page followed,she was sleeping so he carried her in his arms gently taking her to the door.

Page knocked and Besty opened the door, she kept staring at Page and Frankie but immediately her eyes stopped on Ruby it widened.

“What happened to her!”Ruby gasped opening the door more and they walked in.

“She got drunk”Page muttered and Frankie carried her to her room he stared at her for a while then pecked her forehead before going back to meet Page.

“Let’s go,give her lime juice when she wakes”Frankie said.

“Once she wakes tell her she’s so gonna get scolded”Page said and they both left.

“So let me drive you home?”Frankie asked and Page shooked her head .

“No thanks ,you must be tired I’ll find my way”Page said.

“I didn’t complain at least let me drop you off,it’s late”Frankie said.

“You can drop me off at the company I’ll find taxi from there”Page said and Frankie sighed.

“Fine,you win”Frankie said and they both chuckled ,she entered the car and he also entered,driving off immediately.

Frankie stopped the car at bus stop after insisting so much so she agreed she got down and closed the door.

“Thanks”Page smiled and Frankie smiled back.

“My pleasure cutie”Frankie winked and she chuckled as he drove off.

She stared at the road for a taxi but weirdly there’s no one, actually there’s no car in sight the streets echoed emptiness.

She’s the only one here? she thought and suddenly got scared.

“I’ll just walk from here,home isn’t far anyway”Page muttered and stared walking quickly, her noisy heart beats ringing in her already shaky self.

She kept walking and only her heels made noise as she walked and now she wasn’t far from her location ,she suddenly heard footsteps and turned swiftly but saw no one, but after what happened in the last incident she didn’t think twice before running and just as she started running the dark figure dressed in all black came out of hiding and ran after her starting up a hot chase.

She kept breathing heavily as he kept getting closer to her ,she kept running turning back at every second and her heart kept racing faster than her legs ,she was so f-__-king scared right now and her loud breathe puffed from her shaky lips .

She got her phone and tried dialing Ryan’s number but her hands kept shaking as she ran.

She dialed the number but he wasn’t picking up.

“What am I gonna do know?”She said her breathes moving faster and hotter as she kept running.

she crossed an alley and one of her heels broke off so she threw them off not stopping even for a second.

“Why isn’t he picking?”She panicked still trying his number,as the dark figure got closer,she was beginning to give up as her heart kept moving and she suddenly felt something wet dripping from her nose,she touched it and her eyes widened.

She’s…bleeding!!!!

The dark figure caught up with her and grabbed her hands pushing her down roughly.

She fell harshly and her head hit a big stone.

He pulled her up roughly raising a white clothe to her face but she kicked him in his middle making him lose balance as he fell but immediately she made to run he got up quickly and grabbed her hand and mercilessly pierced a knife into her stomach.

Her eyes widened painfully as he pushed the knife deeper and blood slid more down her nose ,he pulled the bloody knife out and he made to stab her again….

“Hey!! You!!”Ryan screamed as he ran to where they were and immediately the dark figure ran disappearing into darkness and Page dropped.

Ryan ran to her and immediately he saw it was her his eyes widened so much .

“Page??”He said kneeling down beside her.

“Wake up! Please wake up ,I’m here now ,wake up please!!”He kept tapping her cheeks and he didn’t know when tears slid down his face he immediately carried her in his arms and began walking hastily to his car.
