A woman kept running endlessly,a white clothe wrapped around her neck dropping down to her waist were a little baby laid.

Only the rustling sounds of dried leafs crumbled under feet as she ran,the whole forest stayed still though ,even the birds dared not whistle.

The woman’s leg hit a tree stomp and she fell as a result clutching the baby gently to herself.

A loud wind blew swiftly to her and a dark figure walked out the storm,snakes adorning her black hair, slithering down her neck as she walked closer to the woman on the ground.

“Stay away from my baby!”the woman screamed.

“What did you think you could hide from me for long?”the voice said,in hazy hisses.

The woman opened her palms immediately and a fire shone on her palms,she sent it for the woman immediately and she fell as a result ,hitting her head,but she launched back after her.

“Argghh!”the woman winched in pain but spread her second palm to her and a white force hit her.

The woman used the opportunity to fly off with the baby,she stopped behind a huge tree and dropped harshly to the floor.

She unwrapped the baby from the clothes and dropped it on the floor, pushing it into the mild bushes.

The dark forces appeared again and she charged straight for the woman.

“Enough games,I’m ending this now”she grinned viciously, lifting the woman off from her neck,she snapped her neck and her grin grew even wilder as the wind blew violently.

Present year°
Moon kept turning from one end of the bed to the other,her face was dripping with hot sweat,and her brown soggy hair kept squeezing to the pillow.

It’s one of her nightmares. Her only night mare.

It feels distant but yet clear and so real.

There’s white fog everywhere and a woman clothed in a black garment kept taking steps to her,her eyes are pure white and her long black hair kept flowing down her back as she walked closer and closer,soon she sped to her and Moon jerked up the bed gasping for breath.

The smoke hit her nose and she began coughing.

“You finally woke up”an old lady smiled, waving more smoke from the white candle in her hand.

“You…you were here? I had the strange dream again”Moon sttuttered,the effects of the dream clearly on her wet face.

“Wouldn’t it be better you face the dreams than waking up half way all the time”the old Woman said.

“Yeah so some spirit can possess me or what? Never”Moon laughed,she jumped down the bed and rushed to hug the old woman.

“What happened?”

“Nothing,just….ain’t it weird that I get the same dream everyday for years and still don’t get what it meant? It’s scary.”Moon muttered, pulling back from the hug.

“You’re just not looking deep enough,you keep running away from it,so how will you understand?”the granny said and dropped the half burnt candle on a table.

“I don’t get what you’re saying but that’s a no!”Moon winked and rushed into the bathroom.

“You’ve got a lot of delivery today,just make sure you’re before dinner”Granny Suzy smiled.

“I just hope this year is finally the one my dear then you’ll get to understand everything “Granny Suzy said and left the room.

Moon stripped slowly under the shower staring at her reflection in the mirror,her brown hair was always a mess,it never straightened down neither could she comb it.

“You’ll never listen to me will you?”she mumbled untangling the hair with her fingers as the cold water poured down her body.

Her eye caught the half shaped moon tattoo on her wrist and she smiled,they are two, one on each wrist and as weird as she found it she loved it more.

She raised the bottom of her feet and another half shaped moon was also there,on both legs too but it’s not as clear as the wrist.

Moon spent half an hour under the shower,soon she came out dressed up in a free gown and rushed out.

“I packed up all the flowers already,so you can just leave after having breakfast and only after”Granny Suzy said,dishing out some food on a plate.

Moon ignored the food and picked up and apple from the fruit bowl.

“I’m fine with this,see you tonight”Moon winked taking a bit from the apple,she grabbed the baskets and walked out.

“You do this all the time, atleast eat for once”granny yelled after her.

“Love you too granny”Moon yelled back, chuckling lightly.

“She is doing this since she knows the food won’t be enough for both of us,what am I going to do with that girl?”granny smiled.

°Market square°
“Here sir,two baskets of lily’s delivered”Moon smiled widely, handing the basket to the middle aged man.

“I told you to stop addressing me that way,I’m like your dad unno”the man complained taking the baskets from her but before he could turn she already left.

He sighed.

“Yes ma’am ,jasmine flowers next time I promise”Moon smiled to the lady walking away with another basket filled with flowers.

She stared at the coins in her hands and her smile widened.

“Just one more delivery and I’ll go home”she muttered,she pushed the coins into her pocket.

She began walking down a silent street,it’s a deserted area and the wind already started picking up that she had to hold tightly to the basket.

“Who orders flowers at this part of the city,I thought it’s forbidden”she thought,but suddenly three men stood in front of her and her eyes widened.

“We thought you’d never come with our delivery but as they say you always stick to time”the man in the middle smiled, licking his lips.

“Stay back!”Moon snapped, her pointer finger thr_@tening to guage thier eye balls out.

“Calm down beauty….”was all the man could say,Moon hit him with the basket and began running off.

“Go after her!”the man groaned,the two men tried grabbing her but a hard force hit them sending them to the floor.

Moon turned immediately but didn’t see anything,just blinding wind.

“I told you this place was wrong idea,it’s still cursed!”the other man said.

It was a loud hoarse sound this time,like a beast and they didn’t waste anytime,they ran off immediately.

Moon also didn’t waste a second she began running the way she came from, never turing back till she eventually arrived at her house.

“Granny Suzy!”Moon screamed,she entered the house quickly and locked the door hurriedly.

“What is it dear?what happened you look scared”Granny said standing gently from her chair.

“I…it the place you said I shouldn’t go,I saw I didn’t see but I felt it,it wasn’t normal “Moon chattered and granny Suzy sighed.

“It’s fine dear,you got me all scared already”granny said pulling out a chair.

“What?”

“Seat girl,you haven’t had a decent meal since you left,have this”Granny said ignoring Moon’s stare.

“It’s fine,I’ll eat in my room”Moon smiled,she took the tray from her and gave her a peck on both cheeks.

“Goodnight granny!”She smiled and walked straight into her room.

Granny Suzy sighed and sat back in her chair,she picked up her knitting pin and began rocking back and forth on the chair.

Heavy winds hollowed down thr_@tening to push the houses down.

Granny Suzy walked to the and shut the wooden locks.

“It’s like a heavy storm is coming”she mumbled.

•Moon’s room•
Even though the wind blew violently outside,her cold sweat formed a straight line down her face,she kept turning around again but this time it a different dream.

It’s darkness all around her and the dark fogs made it difficult to see through anything,a figure emerged from the fog and she stepped back quickly.

He had a calm but firm gaze,his eyes emanating red light from it. Looking so deadly.

*Go,he’s waiting* whispers came from the fog and she sprang up, grabbing her chest tightly.

“Him…who is he? And it changed?”she muttered.

The wind suddenly hit her windows open and she stood up the bed,she walked to the window and tried closing it, but the wind proved stronger.

It blew open again and the heavy wind blew in,it’s so dark outside,and the trees formed dark shadows.

*He’s waiting,go* distant whispers blew in with the wind and she moved back quickly.

She stared out the window for a while and slowly began approaching it again,she climbed over the window and jumped out gently.

The whispers blew her forward and she began walking gently to the direction it was taking.

Her bare feet’s crushing the dried leafs as she walked.

She kept walking for a long while till she found herself in the cursed road from earlier,her heart raced fearfully.

“It was crazy to come here”she thought and turned to leave when…..

She heard a man scream and immediately followed the sound walking slowly,the wind kept getting more violent till she reached a dark alley and it suddenly stopped.

“Please spare us,we promise we won’t touch another lady again!”a man screamed from the grasp hold of a figure,his eyes are emanating that same red light,but she could recognize the man he was holding to be one of the men that tried to touch her.

Her brain suddenly snapped in her head,why was she standing there?!!

She made to leave but he already saw her and thier eyes locked,her eyes flashes white and she suddenly stayed that way like she went into a trance,one of the men used the opportunity to wield the fallen sword beside him,he ran straight to her and th-ru_sted the sword into her from behind,and it went straight it out of her stomach.

“Argghh!!”she gasped and began falling but the figure sped to her and grabbed her before she could fall.

The men used the little chance to run off.

The figure stared at Moon for a while,her blood pouring endlessly,he slowly pulled the sword out of her,her blood vanished from it immediately and he slit his palm with it.

His green blood began dripping down her wounded tummy and it began healing slowly.

He stood up with her in his arms and the sword disappeared.

“Her house?”he thought and touched her head.

He appeared in her room and he didn’t give the place a glance ,he dropped her on the bed gently and vanished.

Moon kept shaking on the bed just after he left, obviously another dream,it happens anytime she closes her eyes no matter the time.

Like before the lady figure appeared from the mist and she sped to Moon but this time she couldn’t resist nor wake up.

The force entered her and the shaped moon on her wrist and feet began emanting white light from it shining blinding into the room,it stopped glowing for a while and became even clearer.

Her hair began turning black on its ,flowing down till it covered the pillow completely.
