“Argghh!!”Raven graped her hand.

Devon walked briskly to Moon and grabbed her hand,immediately walking out with her.

Raven just laid sprawled on the floor.

Devon pushed the door open and Moon walked to the door.

“You still haven’t talked to me? I already said I’m sorry”Moon mumbled.

“And what should I say? You didnt even say or do anything when she was about to attack you”Devon scolded.

“I would have,you just came in time”Moon mumbled and Devon scoffed.

“You’re not angry anymore right? And you’re always there to protect me so i can be a little childish right?”Moon asked.

“Is this funny,what if tomorrow I’m not there and she harms you,you keep letting her poison your mind over and over”Devon scolded.

“So you’re still angry then,your tone is scary”Moon mumbled childishly and folded her arms on her chest.

“I never was but if she dares even have the thought of touching you, I’ll forget i have a heart”Devon said and Moon nodded.

“Dad asked me to go to the kingdom tonight,to check how things are going,i reject but i just wanna go how worst things have gotten myself”Devon said and Moon pouted.

“Can’t I come with?”Moon said.

“It’s only for two day,I’ll be back the day after tomorrow”Devon said and Moon nodded.

Devon disappeared immediately and Moon bit her lips.

“He’s still mad at me”Moon mumbled.

Winter kept snuggling tightly to the cat in her arms as she walked down the hall.

She had a nightmare a while ago,so she’s been walking around ever since,she couldn’t sleep and since Shadow was down at the library with Hermoine every night she decided to head there but someone’s presence suddenly alerted her and she turned back immediately.

Liam furrowed his brows on her face and moved closer but she took another step back.

“What’s wrong? You look like you saw Mellisa and you’ve been walking around for hours”Laim frowned.

“I did”Winter said.

“What? And you didn’t tell anyone? Where is she?”Liam rushed and Winter rolled her eyes.

“It was in my dreams but it was pretty real and the moon didn’t come out for days”Winter mumbled with her head bowed.

Liam almost laughed at how cute her nose turned red but he pushed hus left hands into his pocket and held her with the other.

Winter stared up and thier eyes locked. He immediately dragged her with him,till they got to his room and he opened the door.

Winter blinked innocently and turned to him.

“You can stay here tonight,i barely sleep at night so I can watch you while you sleep, nothing will hurt you here”Laim said.

Winter struggled to swallow the heavy lump down her throat as she stared around she room.

Liam pulled her in before she could refuse and shut the door.

“No turning back”Liam smirked.

Winter sat on the bed and dropped the cat onto her laps taking a proper glance at the place.

“You don’t sleep at night?”Winter asked carefully,but avoided his eyes.

“My vampire side keeps me more awake than my other side”Laim said and Winter nodded.

“But I don’t think I can sleep with you watching, I might have another nightmare of you sulking my blood”Winter said but suddenly gasped at realisation.

“You want to suck my blood while I’m asleep? I’m you’re next pretty right? No way”Winter rushed like a sugar rush kid and made to walk out the door but it was locked.

She suddenly felt Laim breath behind her and she turned fearfully.

He pressed her against door and leaned closer to her face with a heavy smirk.

“I was right!”Winter blurted out fearfully.

“I love it when you’re scared,do you know why?”Liam leaned in for her neck and her heartbeat rushed like adrenaline.

He placed his tongue on her neck and she froze grabbing tightly on his shirt.

“Because you look d@mn cute when you’re scared,I want to keep scaring you so I can kiss those red nose of yours”Liam smiled cruelly and moved back.

All this time he had already opened the door,so immediately he moved back she opened it and rushed out and the cat ran after her.

Laim bursted out in laughter cos there was really no difference between the poor scared cat and the owner.

~《Two days later》~
Moon’s room.

Nightmares has been gone for months now but suddenly she one again.

It’s blurry around her but nothing and the wind blew violently breaking off the trees from thier roots,at first she couldn’t make out the faces charging towards her but then the fog cleared off and she saw Mellisa and the dark queen herself.

She wanted to attack but she couldn’t move they kept attacking and she fell abruptly to her knees, then Devon appeared suddenly and and took the last hit.

He fell to the floor and blood poured out of his mouth,she wanted to run to him and hug him,but she couldn’t.

The Moon turned red suddenly and everywhere turned chaotic.

Moon gasped out for breath,sweat dripping down her face.

“What the heck was that?”Moon stammered heavily.

“Just what is bound to happen, if you don’t stay away from Devon” a voice said

Raven walked out that shadows with a deadly look.

“What do you mean?!”Moon snapped.

“Devon’s was destined to die for you either by your hands or saving you,he’s dying for sure “Raven smirked cruelly.

“No its not possible,he can’t die I can change it,I will”Moon blurted.

“How by being his mate? Sweetheart the moon Goddess and the Devil’s son can never be together, its forbidden didn’t the old lady tell you already,I expected more from you since you’re always in the library,tsk!”Raven smirked,taking slow steps around the room.

“No! No!! You’re lying!!!”Moon yelled,but when she raised her head Raven was gone.

She rushed out the bed immediately and began running down the hall.

She didn’t even notice she was crying until it dropped on her hand.

“Huh?”She mumbled,she touched her face and shook her head.

“He can’t die”she muttered and pushed the door to the library open and luckily the old lady was standing there.

“Is it true?!!”Moon snapped.

“You had to find out from the wrong person”The old lady said.

“So it’s true?”Moon broke down on the fall devastatedly.

The old lady walked to her and dropped the candle in her hand.

“What’s meant to happen will surely happen no one can change the fate”old lady said.

“But why him?!”Moon bursted out in tears.

“The dieties can never accept the moon goddess and the Devil’s son to be mates,he’s from the dark realm so he has to die”The old lady said,Moon pushed the woman hand off gently and stood up.

“I’m not gonna watch him die,its either me or him and its not a question”Moon mumbled and walked out the library.

“Slowly the night we all dreaded is near but what needs to be done will find its way to appear sooner than we think”The old lady said and picked the candle lamp.

The night went on and on like an unending torture and Moon kept sulking as she walked down the path to the river,Devon would be back by morning so she’ll just have to walk the night away.

The wind suddenly stopped blowing and Moon’s heart broke when she felt his presence.

“Moonlight…..?”Devon’s voice came.

“You came back early?”Moon mumbled beneath her breath.

“I felt restless and I decided to come back,you didn’t think I was still angry at you,did you? I missed you so much”Devon said.

A rush of tears suddenly rushed down Moon’s cheeks but she wiped them quickly and took in a long breath.

“This can’t go on Devon”Moon mumble and Devon furrowed his brows.

“What do you mean?”Devon frowned.

“This past few days you’ve been away I noticed I never really……I never really loved you Devon”Moon said coldly.

Devon stared unbelievebly and walked to her.

“Moon you…..”

“Don’t,I don’t want to hear any word,I can’t keep pretending Devon I’m sorry but can we end this now? Everything,lets end it now!”Moon said blankly.

“You’re lying,face me like you mean it”Devon said and Moon faced him immediately with a blank look.

Her tears were dried up on her face but the moon didn’t give its shine for him to notice.

“Did you ever think a goddess would fall for a Demon,and you’ve got a lot of those things now,i just couldnt bring myself to tell you but i can’t keep up with the pretence anymore, Devon”Moon rolled her eyes.

Devon held her hand but she flinged it off roughly and moved back.

“I don’t love you Devon,the truth is I h@ťě you i didn’t know when it started,I h@ťě you so much that I can’t stand your presence!”Moon screamed and Devon staggered backwards.

“You’re lying! I can see it in your eyes you don’t mean it!”Devon snapped,but Moon ignored him and looked away,hiding the tears falling down her face.

Devon nodded and turned to leave.

“If you don’t stop me now,then don’t stop me ever”Devon warned but Moon didn’t move.

Tears rolled down Devon eye and he turned to leave immediately.

Moon broke down to the floor immediately he was out of sight and broke out in tears.

“I h@ťě you for believing my words so easily how could you ever think I’ll h@ťě you? But….i h@ťě myself more ,I broke his heart,I broke him,I can’t even be more cruel than I was now!”Moon cried her eyes out crazily,tugging tightly on her sweater.
