■Same hour ■

Moon heavy eye lids opened slowly and a terrible migrane hit her,she tried recalling the last thing she saw when she suddenly noticed she was on the floor.

Then it clicked quickly.

“Mellisa! Where is she? She was right here then I passed out”Moon asked.

“Dear are you alright?”Master Wave said and that was when moon noticed the masters standing right in front of her.

“I……I was……she was right her and Master Lamia?”Moon stuttered.

“We all met you here little one what exactly did you see?”Master Kai asked.

Moon turned to Lamia and he let out a sheepish smile.

“He…..he was with Mellisa and I tried to warn everyone I passed out somehow,but I’m sure Master Lamia did this”Moon said.

“What is she saying,she’s probably still in a state of shock….I mean Mellisa? Dark queen? …..me ? And her passing out?”Master Lamia said.

“Da*n lier I saw you myself! You’re with her,you both were talking about how you helped her in and out before I came in!”Moon snapped out about now and Master Wave brows furrowed a bit.

“Such behaviour from a student”Master Lamia frowned deeply.

“Dear”Master Wave said and Moon calmed down.

“He’s been walking with us for years building this academy so why would he wanna ruin it now?”Master Kai asked .

“Maybe to achieve this easily without being suspected”Moon said.

“Nonsense!!!”Master Lamia half yelled.

“You two be quite this is a very sensitive matter on one hand she’s accusing you but on the other she claims to have seen you”Master Kai said and Lamia went quite.

“Fine don’t belive me,wait and watch”Moon said and turned to Lamia.

Moon began walking out but Master Kai called her back and she stopped walking.

“Walk me to my hall”Master Kai smiled and Moon nodded.

They both appeared in Master Kai’s Hall and he immediately handed her the book he’d hidden in his cloak earlier.

“You must have dropped it when you passed out luckily I found it before anyone else did”Master Kai said seriously.

“Do you know how important this book is to our enemies and if Lamia was really what you said he was you were taking the book right to him”Master Kai said.

“I’m sorry Master “Moon bowed.

Kai sighed and sat down.

“I’ll keep a close watch on Lamia I don’t want to believe what you’re saying but we don’t know who to trust at this point “Master Kai said and Moon nodded somewhat relieved.

“I’ll leave now”Moon bowed and walked out after that.

“You still have that same look when you stare at her “Master Wave appeared.

“You’ve started doing the eavesdropping trick again”Master Kai said.

“When necessary,when will you tell her?”Master Wave said taking a seat opposite him.

“Whenever it’d be I’m expecting as much hatred from her as possible ” Master Kai mumbled sadly and Wave sighed.

“We have more matters to worry about Master” Kai said.

“Do you really think Lamia is working for the dark queen?”Wave said.

“He won’t but to attain more power he’d do almost anything,we should take her word and be careful,we won’t discuss any sensitive matters around him”Master Kai said.

“And I’ll keep keep a close watch on him”Master Wave said.

Devon pushed Raven off roughly and thier lips separated roughly.

Raven fell to the floor unconscious.

“Raven!”Devon eyes widened and he immediately rushed to her.

He caught her in time and immediately appeared in her room.

He dropped her properly on the bed and stood back.

“What just happened?”he muttered.

*I did feel like there was something at some moment* Demon said.

The door suddenly opened and Devon turned around.

“Where have you been? Training starts soon” Laim said.

“What happened to her? You didn’t do anything with her,did you?” Liam grinned and a pillow landed across his face.

“Stop thinking rubbish and let’s go to the training hall”Devon said and Laim nodded.

“That’s what you’d be saying now”Liam chuckled.

▪︎~Later that night~▪︎ ○Moon’s room○
The training finished a while ago but Moon didn’t bother going,she sat with her leg crossed together on the bed with the blank book in front of her.

She kept concentrating but nothing came forth and every now and then she groaned out frustratedly.

“Gosh!”She threw the book across the room and fell flat on the bed.

“If you’re frustrated don’t blame it on the book” Devon’s voice came and Moon jerked up fearfully and fell out the bed.

“You?!!”Moon whinned.

“You didn’t come for practice so I taught you got lost in your anger or something” Devon said.

He sat on the bed and she stood up.

She picked the book and sat beside him.

“So found what you’re looking for?” Devon said.

“No apparently its stubborn,its still blank” Moon said.

“Have you tried making contact with it,touching or…..”Devon said.

“I’ve done everything,what aren’t I doing right?” Moon mumbled.

Just then the huge clock in the hallway ringed indicating it was noon.

“It’s so late how long have I been doing this? You can leave I’ll just keep trying” Moon said.

“Nah…… I’m sleeping here tonight” Devon said and laid completely on the bed.

“You’re joking right? Devon just leave I need to focus” Moon said dragging the sheets from other him.

“Why,I’m not disturbing you so why can’t you concentrate?” Devon brows furrowed slightly.

“”Because your face……”Moon stopped talking and frowned .

“I’m giving explanations in my own room? How come?”Moon folded her arms on her b*obs.

The next thing she knew a force pushed her and she fell right on top of him,she gasped.

Both thier hands somehow managed to touch the book lying just above Devon’s head and it began glowing brightly.

Moon’s tattooed wrist also glowed and both thier eyes turned color,both staring intensely into the others.

Moon’s hair turned black slowly stretching down to her @zz and the surge of energy in them…..somehow they both felt more energy,it felt so hypnotising none of them had the control to look away but soon the book stopped glowing and thier eyes turned normal again.

“What was that?”Devon muttered.

“I don’t know but it felt really nice” Moon muttered and her eyes widened when she saw words in the open book.

“The book!”She said and grabbed it.

Devon also sat up.

It was right at the page she wanted. There was a realistic drawing of Mellisa with some words written beneath.

“It’s just this writing here and her picture,cres…..”

“I think it’s safer not to read out mysterious acient writings till you need to”Devon cut Moon off and she nodded.

“It’s true I’ll just wait for the right time till I know what it means”Moon smiled.

“Somehow it’s wordings came up when you touched it”Moon said.

“And you were chasing me out,I deserve a kiss for that” Devon winked.

“Devon?!”Raven voice came outside the door and shortly she was inside giving Moon a dirty look.

“You woke up already? Mind explaining what that was earlier?” Devon said seriously.

“Devon we need to talk” Raven said and held his hand but he pulled her back.

“And why not here? If there’s anything you need to say,say it here”Devon said.

“Why? So you’ll go back to kissing her?!!” Raven snapped.

Moon made an eye roll.

“Raven I already told you whether I kissed her or not it’s shouldn’t be something we talk about”Devon said coldly.

“But we also kissed so let’s talk about that!” Raven snapped.

Moon gaged on her own breath with wide eyes.

“The h*ll? You forced it on me!” Devon half yelled.

“That was because I couldn’t control it Dev it just happened and I……”

“What the heck are you trying to say?”Devon frowned.

“Why are you being so mean don’t you feel it,the heart pulse the pains when I’m close to you like right now I’m finding hard to stay even this far from you!”Raven yelled tearing up.

“Raven I’ve told you you shouldn’t be having such feelings and…..”

“Why? I can’t control it and neither can you no one can resist the mate bond”Raven snapped and Devon’s eyes widened.

Moon shifted back a bit just to be sure she wasn’t having another dream.

“I’m your mate Devon, I just found out today and I confirmed it,we are mates”Raven half screamed.

Devon felt something in his heart ache but Moon actually tipped over glass and it cut her deep but she was unaware with the way her heart ringed in her ear.

“Huh?” Moon uttered.

“It can’t be possible,why haven’t I felt it then? You’re just lying”Devon said and faced Moon,now tears were pouring down her eyes.

“Why would I lie? Would I lie about the pain? Huh? You don’t feel it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist “Raven said.

“You’re lying f_cking prove it!”Devon yelled.

Raven nodded slowly and walked straight to the glass lying on the floor,she ignored the ones stained with Moon’s blood and grabbed a clean piece, she dug the whole piece into her wrist.

“Arghh!!” Raven cried out in pain and believe it or not Devon felt it in his chest he fell on his knees and grabbed his chest but now tears were rolling freely down his eyes.

Moon also felt something in her chest but Devon was obvious taking all the pain.

“Devon!!” Moon rushed to him but Raven beat her to it ,she hugged Devon and she pain stopped immediately.

Moon took slow steps back shaking her head in denial,devastated tears falling down her eyes.
