“You did it moonlight,you were great”Devon smiled,he adjusted her in his arms,thier wounds healing together.

“They are here!!”Winter screamed and the rest ran towards them.

Raven stopped on her tracks when she saw Moon in his arms,her eyes twitched.

“What happened to her?! What the heck did you do?”Granger snapped,he moved quickly to take Moon from him ,Devon moved back and he stopped in front of him.

Granger eyes caught Moon’s hand on his necklace and his jaw tightened.

“The monster attacked us,it wanted her but we ki||ed it”Devon said simply.

“Just give her here, she’s bleeding badly can’t you see?!”Granger snapped angrily.

“She’ll only heal,this way if she’s…..in my arms”Devon said deadpanned,he turned and began walking away with Moon,who still had a strong grip on the crescent.

The way she stayed effortlessly comfortable in his arms made Granger’s bones tighten in it’s joints.

He began walking to stop him but Winter pulled him back.

“Let them be, she’s better off that way, she’ll heal faster, we’ve witnessed it ourselves they have some kind of bond let’s just stay out of it,you can meet her once she is awake”Winter said,Granger folded his fist and walked out.

Raven kept standing there biting her lips jealousy.

“What kind of crazy bond could they have that Devon won’t even notice me still standing here?”Raven mumbled.

Devon appeared in the room with Moon closely snuggled to him.

He dropped her on the bed but she still didn’t let go of the necklace,he held her hand gently and loosened it from her palms and dropped her hands beside her.

She snored softly and he couldn’t help but smile.

“Such a lazy moonlight”Devon muttered.

*She endured all the pain we felt throughout the fight,she has to sleep* Derek voice came and Devon’s brows furrowed a bit.

*You talk?* Demon scoffed.

*I talk when I need to* Derek mumbled.

Devon raised her sleeves,it all healed already except the first scar she got from the sword incident.

He stared intensely at the scar and his eyes lowered to the moon mark,he slowly brought his fingers to the surface and began rubbing it gently.

He stood up after and dragged the duvet over her,he continued staring at her that way.

“She doesn’t look like she knows anything about the fate”Devon mumbled.

*But it’s still gonna happen anyway* Derek said.

*Try and be positive,would you?* Demon snapped.

*I’m being realistic,we’ve been living on this,since he was born* Derek said.

“Wether it’s gonna happen or not,I don’t care it’s best she doesn’t know,and what ever she chooses I’ll go with it,it’s what we’ve lived for anyway?”Devon said.

The two went quite.

He stared at Moon one last time before walking out.

<Training hall>

It’s pretty much late but most of the students sat around talking,all are present except,Moon,Devon and Granger.

“What that happened?”Hermione chuckled after Winter narrated everything.

“So you guys didn’t even get to see what the monster looked like?”Wyatt chuckled.

“As expected,she showed off when she had the chance”Jinx scoffed.

“It was hideous just like your thoughts,sad you couldn’t get to see the reality of your attitude”Devon said,he appeared just now and they went mute.

“Is she asleep?”Liam asked.

Devon nodded,Raven clenched her jaws and walked out immediately.

Devon stared at her till she was out of sight and back to the rest.

He gave Jinx a blank look and just left without saying a word.

Jinx left next.

“So how did the protection shield go?”Winter asked,she sat beside Shadow on a bench.

“Too easy,I got bored staring at the lights”Wyatt yawned.

Everyone laughed.

“It’s getting late, goodnight,the master said they’ll see us once it’s early”Winter said.

“Great,I was planning to sleep in after such a hectic first mission”Wyatt yawned.

“You didn’t even go with us, dude”Liam scoffed.

“Still need my beauty sleep”Wyatt smirked and walked out.

“He’s crazy”Shadow chuckled.

“What you like crazy guys?”Hermione blurted off guard and Shadow eyes widened.

“What the?”Winter mumbled,she stood up immediately and left.

“Awkward…..dude”Liam mumbled and also left.

Hermione faced Shadow,he bit his lips hard.

“Goodnight”he smiled awkwardly and also left leaving Shadow there.

Shadow blinked for some seconds before finally leaving.

“What was that?”she mumbled confusedly.

She began walking down the hall,when she noticed a dark presence behind her,she turned and met nothing there.

She continued walking briskly, quickening each step as she rushed to her room.

She opened the door and met Winter fast asleep on the bed.

She looked out the corridor and met nothing there,so she closed the door shut and climbed the bed.

A dark shadow came out a wall and dissapered again, leaving black smoke.

“Ummm!”Moon kept mumbling,her face hitting the bed side to side with cold swear running down her face.

It’s another nightmare,but this time the face was unfamiliar,just like when she saw Devon’s face for the first time,it also felt the same. Like she knew who it was but she just couldn’t pin point it.

She stood motionless in the dream,her breathes slow and frightened.

The evil entity kept chasing another lady who had a baby in her arms as she ran through the deep depths of the forest.

The dream visioned on the baby’s wrist and she saw the moon mark, right there.

But before she could get what happened,she woke up ,sweat rolling down her face.

She palmed her face and the wetness gathered up in her eyes balls,she didn’t get what it was till it started dropping down her palms wetting her cheeks.Tears,first time ever.

“Mu…mum!”

“I saw her,I’m sure it’s her,it has to be her”Moon sobbed loudly, letting the tears out.

“What happened to her? How? I saw the mark so I’m sure it’s me but mum…”Moon kept sobbing,the door suddenly opened and Granger rushed in.

“Moon,are you alright?”he asked worriedly pulling her into a hug.

“I saw her,I’m sure I saw her,my mum,I don’t know what happened,it was clear but now I can’t reme anything!…..”

“It’s okay,it’s fine,you’ll find out soon,just stop crying atleast it’s too early for that”Granger said.

Winter rushed in that moment and she gasped.

“My baby!”Winter rushed to her,Granger moved back and Winter hugged her.

“You’re awake! But you’re crying?”Winter asked caressing her face

“She had a nightmare about her mum but she can’t remember”Granger said.

“It hurts so much,I can feel it but it’s not clear everything is blur “Moon sniffed.

“Come on baby,we’ll find out what happened,stop crying please”Winter pleaded and Moon nodded gently.

Outside Devon sighed softly,he actually heard Moon crying from his room but before he could enter Granger did,so he asked Winter to go check.

He pushed his hands into his pocket and started walking away.

Raven suddenly passed him and she didn’t spare him a glance ,she kept walking with a heavy frown.

“Raven”Devon called gently,she didn’t turn back, he sped to her and grabbed her wrist firmly.

“You’ve been ignoring me since last night,are we doing this now?”Devon frowned.

“Ohh…you finally remembered me? You were too busy with Moon so I didn’t want to spoil it”Raven said sadly.

Devon sighed.

“You girls are so confusing to understand,I can’t help anyone else if not you?”Devon asked.

“Yeah only me”Raven pouted.

“You’re crazy”Devon laughed.

“I’m serious I get really jealous,when you stare at someone else”Raven pouted sadly,Devon pushed her head with his finger.

“Don’t think rubbish”Devon smirked.

“Let’s take a walk before breakfast?”Raven said.

“No continue ignoring me,I’m fine with that”Devon smirked and began walking away.

“Hey!! Wait up!”Raven yelled after him,she chuckled and ran after him.

“Ms!?”Moon yelled immediately she entered the library.

She knew if she had unanswered questions the old lady would surely know,she acted so sure like she knew her so which other place to find out about her mum than her?

“She isn’t here,she must have gone out or something”Moon mumbled sadly.

“You must probably be looking for Ms Joan”Master Lamia said behind Moon.

She flinched fearfully, taking careful steps back.

“Master Lamia,sorry I didn’t notice you were here”Moon muttered,her head slightly bowed.

“It’s fine,i came searching for some special book,but couldn’t find it here”Master Lamia said.

Moon nodded,she suddenly noticed a book on the floor behind him,it’s had the same cover Ms Joan gave her.

“She went out on some errands,she’ll be back before dinner”Master Lamia said

“Who?”Moon blurted.

“The person you came looking for,or isn’t she the reason you came here?”Master Lamia furrowed his brows.

“Yes sir “Moon nodded awkwardly.

He gave her a smile before leaving.

“Gosh never knew he could be this scary”Moon mumbled holding her chest.

She walked to the book and the floor and picked it,it’s the same one.

“Ms Joan said,it was connected to me so what did he want with it?”Moon thought.

“Crybaby!”Granger’s voice came from outside the library and Moon fronwed deeply,she dropped the book on a table.

He’s been since morning ,excuse of cheering her up he gave her the nickname.

He walked through the door and met her dagger glare.

He burst out in laughter.

“Just like I imagined, those eyes”Granger chuckled.

“Don’t call me that”Moon fronwed.

“Then don’t cry like that again”Granger said and moon sighed.

She sat on a seat and palmed her face embarrassingly.

“Can’t believe I cried,I’ve never cried before but now it was in front of you two “Moon mumbled and Granger pinched her cheeks.

“Ouch!!”

“You think too much, should I just kiss your thoughts away?”Granger grinned mischievously leaning in,she pushed his head.

Devon appeared in that moment and he walked straight to Moon.

He stared from Granger to Moon.

“We need to talk”Devon said,Moon stared up at him blinking slowly.

“Why?”Moon muttered.

“Just come with me”Devon said.

Moon sighed and stood up,Granger pulled her back and she fell beside him.

“She’s not going anywhere,you’ve hurt her enough,I won’t let you do anything more to hurt her”Granger said firmly.

“I wasn’t talking to you and she can come with if she wants to,I’m not forcing her”Devon said dryly.

Moon stood up immediately knowing where this would lead to.

“I’ll go with Devon”Moon said awkwardly.

“Why he just keeps on hurting you,why would you go? . He’s free to say wh@ťěver hear”Granger scoffed.

“$h|t your crap or I’ll shut it myself”Devon said coolly and Granger smirked.

“Really?”Granger stood.

“I’ll like to see you….”A punch bruised his face before he could utter the rest,Moon gasped.

“Devon!”Moon said,Granger returned the punch.

Devon head turned side,he smirked and whipped the blood.

“Say hello to death for me….would you?”Devon smirked and a hard force threw Granger to one of the huge shelf’s.

It came crashing down on Granger.

“Devon!! Stop!!”Moon screamed watching more shelfs fall.

Granger sped out the falling shelfs and pushed Devon to the wall,he began punching him,but Devon escaped each one and Granger’s fist ended up hitting the walls,his knuckles bleeding badly but he didn’t stop.

“Granger stop it!! You’re bleeding!”Moon snapped but he didn’t stop.

Devon pushed him off and he fell to the ground,then his sword appeared.

“Should I just end your miserable life already?”Devon with a dead emotionless face.

“No stop!!”Moon screamed,she rushed to were Granger was before the sword could get to him and pressed her lips on his.

The sword stopped mid way and Devon’s face tightened with a huge frown.

Granger eyes widened but he covered up his surprised look and wrapped his arms around Moon immediately, raising his right hand middle finger to Devon.
