Kourtney, kaithyln and carmen sat next to eachother as usual operating their phones.

“Where the hell is Fiona?, It’s been an hour since she left”Kaitlyn groaned dropping her phone on her table.

Kourtney was busy secretly taking pictures of Finn who was asleep, Carmen was going through her phone.

“He’s so cute while sleeping!”Kourtney gushed.

Kaithyln surprisingly banged the table as Kourtney turned to her immediately, Carmen didn’t flinched or even look up from her phone; her eyes remain glued to her phone.

“Are you guys even listening to me!”Kaithyln half yelled.

“Don’t worry she’ll be here soon”Kourtney said as she turned back to the slepping Finn.

She smiled lightly.

“Just confess to him rather than staring at him all day”Carmen said, she was already looking up.

“I never said I liked him”Kourtney snapped.

“Then why stare?”Kaithyln questioned immediately.

“I just feel like”Kourtney said with an eye roll, Fiona walked in that moment. She already changed her clothes.

She’s now putting on a red short skirt and a black crop top.

“Hey girls!”Fiona said sitting close to carmen.

“Where have you been all day?”Kaithyln asked.

“And why did you change your clothes?”Kourtney asked looking at her from head to toe.

“I I just finished taking care of some trash and”Fiona said as she rested her legs on her table. Carmen smirked hearing that.

“Trashcans?”Kaithyln repeated.

“What did you so Fiona?”Carmen asked.

“What I’m always good at”Fiona replied with a wink.

She turned to Kourtney who was now staring at Finn, her eyes diverted to Finn. She hissed rolling her eyes.

SCHOOL INFIRMARY

Mason eyelids flickered for some seconds before his eyes opened.

A strong headache hit him.

“Arghh”He groaned in pain as he looked around to see a young girl.

“You fainted”She said, she had the Ruby block’s Identification card on her neck.

He remembered how he and Jaxton got beaten, he’s body hurts like hell and his forehead is plastered too.

There were some bruises around his cheeks, his legs and his arms.

“Does it hurt so much?”She asked with so much concern.

“Where is Jaxton?”He asked ignoring her question, she bit her lips.

“You mean the other guy…..well he fainted too and was rushed to the hospital his parents actually came to pick him up.

Mason slowly came down from the bed.

“Where are you going?” She asked.

“Home….I wanna go home”He said as he began walking slowly to the door.

She blocked his way standing in front of him.

“Are you sure?, you’re still weak…..why don’t you call your parents to come pick you up” She said.

“Why did she care so much, she doesn’t even know me?”Mason thought.

“Don’t worry I’ll go get your bag”She said with a grin before rushing out.

Some minutes later she returned with her bag and his bag.

“Why two bags?” Mason asked.

“I can’t let you go home alone, I’ll follow you”She said giving him his bag.

“You don’t have too, you’ll miss classes”Mason said.

“That’s not a problem”She said.

“By the way I’m Nancy” She said as mason slowly nodded.

“Let’s go”Nancy said as she rested his left hand on her shoulder for support,she used her other hand to hold his waist as they both walked out.

LATER IN THE DAY — 4PM — KAITLYN’S MANSION

“Bye Fiona”Kourtney said pecking Fiona on the cheek as Kaitlyn did same,she also hugged Fiona too.

“Take care of yourselves!!”Fiona said before rushing out.

She just got a call from home,her dad his returning home in some hours time and she has to go home to prepare for his arrival.

It remains just Kourtney, Kaithyln and Carmen.

Although Carmen is upstairs in her room.

“I’ll be going home soon”Kourtney said.

“Did you all plan not to stay or what?”Kaithyln said with a pout as Kourtney chuckled.

“We didn’t, we just have things to do….. wait, where is Carmen?” Kourtney asked.

“She’s upstairs, she’s being in her room since we got back”Kaithyln said as Kourtney stood.

“I’ll go check on her then”Kourtney said.

CARMEN’S ROOM

Carmen groaned in frustration as she flinged one of her book to the bed,she doesn’t know why she can’t concentrate at all.

Maybe her head is just too full and going home is definitely not a good option at all.

“Maybe I’ll stay with Kaithyln tonight” Carmen said, she brought out a stick of cigarette and a lighter, she lit the stick and placed it in between her lips.

She began smoking.

“Feels so good”She muttered after puffing out the first smoke.

She heard a knock on her door as she turned swiftly to the door,she threw the stick under her table and matched it.

“Who is there?”She asked standing up,
She garbbed her perfume.

“Kourtney”She heard from outside the door as she began sparying it around the room.

“Can I come in?”Kourtney asked.

“Sure”Carmen said as she threw the can under her bed, the door opened.

“Carmen!!”Kourtney called rushing to her, she paused.

“Your room smells so nice”Kourtney complimented inhaling the perfume smell.

“Uhm….. yeah”Carmen said, Kourtney’s eyes diverted to the scattered books on Carmen’s table. She sighed before slowly cupping Carmen’s cheeks.

“You must have been reading for a long time…just make sure you don’t stress your brain too much”Kourtney said as Carmen nodded.

Kourtney removed her hand from Carmen’s cheeks.

“Fiona left already,her dad is coming back today” Kourtney said as Carmen frowned.

“But don’t worry we’ll see her tommorow”Kourtney assured.

The four friends care about themselves very much but it’s nothing compared to the care Kourtney gives Carmen, this two have a very strong bond. Kourtney cares about the others too but she cares for Carmen more.

Although Kourtney tries her best not to make it obvious inorder to avoid jealousy.

Carmen may act weird but she doesn’t behanve that weird when she’s with Kourtney.

“Let’s go downstairs”Kourtney suggested grabbing Carmen’s hand.

“Wiat…..I need to use…. the restroom”Carmen stammered as Kourtney ceased her eyebrows.

“Are you okay?”Kourtney asked concernly.

“I’m fine…just go I’ll meet you guys in few minutes”Carmen said as Kourtney smiled.

“Okay weirdo”Kourtney said walking out.

Carmen let out a sigh.

“That was close” She said as she bent down taking the pieces of the cigarettes stick and the perfume can.

She dropped the can on her table and walked to the bathroom throwing the pieces of the stick into the toilet.

She flushed it down to the sockaway.

She headed to her wardrobe opening it.

Even if each of them have their different homes, there are different rooms for them here in kaithyln’s mansion including ; clothes,shoes, jewelries and many other accessories that are in those rooms.

They spend most holidays together that’s one of the reasons why they have those things.

Carmen picked a blue baggy top and black baggy jeans, she wore them then headed to the living room.

ALLEN’S HOME — MASON’S ROOm

Mason has been home alone since he got back throught Nancy’s help.

His parents aren’t back yet and his body hurts like hell, he doesn’t know if the beaten is the problem because he has gotten beaten alot of times.

“Argh”He screamed in pain as hot tears fell out of his eyes.

He heard the sound of the door which means that his mother is back.

“Mason, I’m home!”He heard his mother’s voice but he couldn’t even respond, he found it hard to talk because of the pain.

He kept groaning as he rolled from the bed landing on the hard floor, he’s eyes were almost closing when the door opened.

Mrs Jane’s eyes widened in shock and terror.

“Mason!!!”She screamed running to him, she placed his head on her laps.

“Mason…are you okay?, what happened to you?” She asked at once but got no respect, closed his eyes immediately as he gave way to darkness.

“MASON!!!!”
