“Dude calm down that’s my dad”Mario said.

“By the time am done with you both, I’ll drop your corps with Fabio’s”Alberto said.

“He’s dead?”Diego asked.

“Yeah and you’re soon going to join him”Alberto said.

Diego got angry and punched Alberto,he staggered back.

His men tried to intervern but Mario stopped them by giving them the beating of the century one after the other.

Alberto touched his bloody lips and laughed sickly.

Diego’s anger intensified,he gave Alberto and upper punch and Alberto fell.

“Why are you quiet,huh?…i dare you to talk!”Diego yelled with blood shot eyes.

He grabbed a fist full of Alberto’s hair and slammed his head on the bar counter,Alberto began pleading but it fell on deaf ears.

Some people around them was already running while some stood at a distance, watching and making videos.

Diego gave him a punch in the guts and he spat out blood.

Police siren was heard,seems like someone called the police.

“Diego,we have to go”Mario said.

“Let this be my first and last warning to you”Diego said coldly.

Diego and Mario walked back to where they girls were.

Luna was fast asleep while Elena was crying.

Mario carried Luna in his arms,Diego did the same with Elena.

Immediately they left the police came in and arrested Alberto and his men.

Diego dropped Elena in the car and walked around to enter the drivers seat,she was still crying.

“Bunny, what’s wrong?”Diego asked.

“Is..is he really dead?”Elena asked in between sobs.

“I’m not sure”Diego replied.

“Why is everyone leaving me,will you leave me too?”Elena sniffed.

“I will never leave you”Diego said and pulled her into a comforting hug.

“Promise?”Elena hiccuped.

“I promise”

“If you ever break your promise I’ll never forgive you”Elena said.

“Seem like you love to hold grudges”Dieg chuckled.

“Di am serious”She said still trying to keep her eyes open.

“Okay fine”

Mario already brought Luna home,he gently placed her on the bed,he removed her shoes, and adjusted the duvet property on her.

“Prince charming”Luna said and opened her eyes.

“Since when did i become your prince charming?”Mario asked and sat beside her.

“Right now….my head hurts”Luna mumbled and sat up.

“Just get some sleep and it’ll stop by morning”Mario said and tried to put her back to bed.

“No…I.. I can’t it hurts too much”Luna said and almost started crying.

“Why did you drink so muck?”Mario asked.

“I…i didn’t,i just..i just had one cup and i don’t know what happened next”Luna hiccuped.

Mario chuckled.

“Should i get you hangover soup?”Mario asked.

“No just stay here with me,please”Luna said.

“I know you don’t want this, you’ll ki|| me tomorrow”

“No i won’t,i promise”Luna shooked her head like a kid.

“You’re drunk and you don’t know what…..”Before he could finish, she slammed her lips on his.

He immediately broke the kiss.

“Little red,please just go to sleep”Mario sighed.

“at least a cuddle”She pouted.

Mario felt tempted to kiss her lip but he retrained himself.

“Fine”He laid down next to her and cuddled her softly while stroking her hair till she finally slept off.

Diego carried Elena into the house in a bridal style,she felt asleep during the ride home.

He heard light sobs coming from the kitchen,he placed Elena on the couch and went to check it out.

He saw his mother sitting on the kitchen floor,crying and she had bruises all over her face.

“Mom,what happened?”Diego asked and squat beside her.

“He..he came”Naomi mumbled.

“Who came?”Diego asked.

“Lucas,he said if you don’t come now he’ll not take it lightly next time”

Diego’s eyes instantly turned red and he stood and walked out.

Naomi srood to and rushed after him.

“Diego,i hope you are not going there”Naomi said.

“Do i have a choice?”Diego said.

“I can’t let you go, what if something happens….”

“So should i sit and watch him hurt the people love?”Diego snapped angrily.

“No please don’t go”Naomi said,hot tears rolling down her cheeks.

“You can’t talk me out of this one”Diego said.

“Are you going to be back soon?”Naomi asked.

“Yeah,very soon”Diego said while looking at Elena sleeping soundly on the couch.

He picked her up and went up the stairs.

He entered the room and gently placed her on the bed.

He wanted to leave but held his hand tho she was still sleeping.

He slowly removed her hand and placed it on the bed.

“I’ll be back bunny”He said and kisses her forehead,she smiled.

He left the room and met Naomi waiting for him.

He wanted to leave before Naomi could try to stop him again.

“Wait”Naomi said and he turned.

“Take this, it’s a silver knife,if you can hit him directly on the heart, he’ll die”Naomi said in between tears.

“Thanks mom”Diego said and hid the small kinfe in his clothes.

“What will i tell her when she wakes up?”Naomi asked.

“Just tell her I’ll be back”Diegk said.

Diego arrived at the palace he was walking around looking for Lucas.

He stopped when he heard noises in the throne room.

“Does he really think I’ll let him be after he gives me the throne”Lucas scoffed

“I’ll make sure to end him and everyone around his”Lucas said to his personal assistant,Leban.

“Just wait till he come, I’ll personally ki|| him with my bare hands”Lucas sneered.

Diego stood at the door, listening to his conversation.

“But i think I’ll make that girl my sêx slave, she’s very beautiful”Lucas said.

That was it, Diego’s breaking point.How dare he talk about her like that.

Diegl barged into the room snd charged at Lucas but Lucas dodged with ease.

“I was expecting you”Lucas smirked.

“Why are you doing this,just power,you can’t fûcking have it all but i want won’t tolerate hurting my family!”Diego said.

“And what makes you think i won’t punish you for wasting my time,i could have had the throne aong time ago but you decided to play hide and seek,right?”Lucas said and laughed.

“Lock him up”Lucas ordered Leban.

Diego willing followed him,without any hesitation.

*NEXT MORNING*

Luna slowly opened her eyes and was shocked to find herself in Mario’s arms.

She loved the feeling but it wasn’t right.

She slowly stood, trying not to wake him up.

“Good morning little red”Mario said and opened his eyes.

“Hi…”She said awkwardly.

“Does your head still hurt?”Mario asked.

“Just a little,did something happen last night?”Luna asked.

“Like what?”Mario asked.

“I just mean…we…we stayed on…the same…i hope i didn’t do anything stupid?”Luna shuttered nervously.

“No you didn’t,you just kissed me and asked for a cuddle”Mario smirked.

“I did?”Luna asked with widened eyes.

“Yes i really enjoyed it and am sure you did too”Mario winked at her and she blushed.

“Let’s go get you hangover”He said and carried her in a bridal style.

She surprisedly let him, she even wrapped her hands around his neck.

Elena woke up with a throbbing head,she felt like she was going to fall any moment.

“Di”She called but he didn’t respond.

Where could he be?

She wore a pair of fluffy slippers and went downstairs.

“Mom have you seen di?”Elena asked holding her head.

“He said he’ll be back”Naomi replied simply.

“Where did he go?”Elena asked.

“He just said he’ll be back”Naomi said.

“Please just tell me where he went”Elena said already getting worriedly.

“Please just calm down dear”Naomi said.

“I hope he didn’t go to see Lucas?”Elena asked.

“Calm down first”Naomi said but Elena shooked her head.

“How could you let him go!”Elena yelled with tears.

“I tried to stop home but….”

“What type of mother are you?,how could you let him face Lucas and you’re saying you tried to stop him!”Elena yelled.

“Elena calm down”

“No…!”

“Just because you’re angry doesn’t give you the right to talk to me like that, he’s my son too and i care about him, you’re not the only one that cares “Naomi halfed yelled.

“Am sorry…”Elena sniffed and hugged her tightly.

“It’s fine just calm down,he said he’ll be back”Naomi assured.

“But he promised he won’t leave me”Elena mumbled lowly with hot tears racing down her cheeks.
