As Elena walked through the dark street, her legs grew weaker, her vision blurry. The rain and tears merged into a single, endless stream. Finally, her body gave out, and she collapsed onto the wet pavement, her faint form disappearing into the rain-soaked darkness. Her bag also fell beside her.

“Where is Elena?”Fabio asked Luna,after searching the whole house

“I don’t know, I didn’t even know when she went out”Luna said

“Isn’t it your job to watch her!”Fabio yelled

“She isn’t a kid that i should be watching her all the time, she’s old enough to take care of herself”Luna said in a harsh tone

“Then why did i hire you?…”

Luna was about to reply when her phone rang,it was from Elena

She answered almost immediately.

“Hey,where are you?” She asked.

“I’m sorry but…do you know the owner of the phone?” The strange voice asked

“Yes,is there a problem? Where’s she?”

“I’m calling from San Raffaele hospital,in Avenue Green street,do you know the place?”

“Why? What happened exactly?”Luna asked with trembling voice.

“She fell unconscious in the rain and was brought here”

“I will be there right away” Luna said and hung up

“What happened?”Fabio asked

“Sge fell unconscious and was brought to a hospital “Luna replied and they both left the room in a hurry

They got into the car and drove away

When Luna and Fabio arrived at the hospital,Elena was already awake

But she was crying…

“Elena what’s wrong?”Luna asked but Elena remained silent,still crying

“Can you just say something,you are getting me worried”Luna said but Elena was still quiet

“Say something already,this is getting annoying”Fabio sighed

“I..i want to go home”Elena said

They arrived home and Elena was the first to leave the car,Luna followed her but before she could reach her

Elena entered her room and locked it

“Elena,are you alright?”Luna asked softly,when she got no reply she sighed and walked away

Elena fell on the floor and burst into another round of tears

How could he do this to her?….he abandoned her when she needed him the most

She curled her self on the floor and cried through the night

*NEXT MORNING*

Diego was awake,he was drinking away his sorrows in the wine cellar

Alex wasn’t home, he travelled back to his hometown fie some work,so Diego was alone

“Good morning brother”A voice said from behind him

He turned to see Lucas with the fakest smile

Diego glanced at him and turned around to continue his drink

“Are you just going to ignore me,i brought a gift for you”Lucas said and walkes closer

“What do you want?”Diego asked lazily

“I don’t want anything, infact i came to give you a gift”Lucas said

In a snap of a finger,a tattered looking woman appeared on the floor

“Surprised?”Lucas asked as he starred at Diego who had a shocked look

Diego rushed to the woman’s wide

“Mom”He called and helped her sit on a chair

“Diego?”Naomi called and hugged him

“Are you alright?are you hungry?do you need water?”Diego asked in a rush

Lucas leaned on the wall while watching the little family reunion

In some few minutes he vanished

Diego took Naomi to one of the room after she took her bath and ate.

“I still Can’t believe you are alife”Diego said and hugged her for the hundredth time

“I told you not to use your powers,Lucas wouldn’t have found you if you didn’t”Naomi said and Diego sighed

“Why did you use it?”Naomi asked

“That’s not important….”

“Who’s this?”Naomi asked showing him a picture of Elena in his phone

“No one”Diego snatched the phone from her

“But you have a lot of pictures of her even more than yours”

“I said she is no one”

“Then you won’t mind if i delete all her pictures”Naomi pulled the phone for him

“No..no”Diego said

“Who is she?is she your girlfriend?”Naomi asked

“She’s not,mom,she even h@ťěs me”Diego said

“Why?”

“Lucas ki||ed our baby and he thr_@ten to harm her,he wants to use her again me,i had no choice than to push her away”Diego mumbled

“He ki||ed my grandson”Naomi said shockingly

“He’s a devil but you shouldn’t have pushed her away…..”

“So should i have watched Lucas harm her”Diego said

“When all this $h|t is over better bring back my daughter-in-law “Naomi said

Elena was done preparing for work,she was tired of crying and she decided to go to work to get her mind off Diego

She was about crossing the door when someone’s voice stopped her

“Where are you going?”Fabio askes and walked nearer to her

“Am going to work”Elena said

“You are not going anywhere”Fabio said

“You are getting married this Friday,so you need to get somethings ready”

“What!….am not getting married and you can’t force me!”Elena yelled

“You are getting married,whether you like it or not”Fabio said

Elena wanted ro ignore him and leave

But two men cane into the room and held her

“Let go of me!”Elena yelled trying to remove their grip

“Lock her up in her room”Fabio ordered and the men pulled her away

“Stop let go of me,Fabio stop this”Elena cried
