It’s been weeks after the incident and Elena hasn’t set her eyes on Diego,she would lie if she says she didn’t miss him

He is constantly sending her messages but she ignores them all not like she wants to but Fabio has continually warned her about Diego and she has no plans to get him upset…

This morning she got a call from doctor Sergio,he said she would get fired if she didn’t come to work,she has taken many off days

she was done dressing and ready to leave when her phone beeped

she ignored it and left

she decided to trek because she was very early

she was close to the hospital when a familiar scent hit her,she turned and saw Diego behind her

“please stop”his voice came but she kept walking

she stood at the entrance and turned,Diego was still rooted to that spot,she ignored him and went in

It’s been a month and Elena’s left went back to normal but she felt empty

something changed

Diego stopped texting and calling her and it got her worried

she was prepared to sleep when her a call came in

it was an unknown number but she picked it anyway

“hello,is this Elena?”the caller asked

“yes,who is it?”Elena asked

“it’s Alex,please can you come over?”

“am sorry but…”

“it’s Diego, something is wrong with him”

“what?is he alright?”she asked worriedly

“he’s been locked up in his room for days,he doesn’t want to come out and he’s not even saying anything,just come talk to him first,please”

“am coming now”she said and hung up

she quickly changed her clothes and rushed out not without making sure Fabio was asleep

*DIEGO’S MANSION*

Alex was seated waiting patiently for her and soon she came

“where is he?”she asked as soon as she walked in

“his room”he replied,Elena didn’t waste anymore time before running upstairs

she stood in front of his room and knocked gently,no reply came.

“di..it’s Elena please open the door”she said

“what do you want?”Diego asked in a hoarse voice

“I want to see you please open the door”

“I though you want to stay away from me?”he asked

“it’s not true,I truly didn’t want to ignore you,Fabio said I should stay away from you and I didn’t want to get him angry, please just open the door”she said but he didn’t reply

“okay,am really sorry just open the door”

he still didn’t reply

“if you don’t open the door,I’ll leave”she warned

after waiting with no response,she was about to leave when he opened the door and hugged her before she could say anything

she broke the hug after some minutes and examined him with her eyes

he looked so thin and lean,his hair was messy and his eyes were red

“what did you do to yourself?”she asked

“you caused it by ignoring me”

she hit his head

“are you a kid?can’t you take care of yourself?”she half yelled

“now that you’re here you’ll take care of me”he said and she smiled

“stop acting cute, go take your bath I’ll bring you food”

she came back to the room with a plate of ramen noodles,the bathroom door opened and Diego came out with only a towel wrapped around his waist,revealing his ki||er abs

she gapsed and turned around

“why did you turn around?”he asked with a smirk

“should I?”

“I think it’s childish and I don’t mind if you look”he said

“pervent!!!”she yelled and ran out the room

she went downstairs and met Alex on the couch watching a movie

“is he alright?”Alex asked

“yes he is”She said

“you’re his friend right?you should know somethings about him?”Elena asked and he nodded

“There was a day he was talking about something like his mother,am not really sure”

“Am sorry but I can’t tell you anything about him,I hope you understand?”Alex asked

“I understand”she replied

“don’t worry am sure he’ll tell you soon,he’s surprisedly opening up to you”

Elena smiled

“let’s go check up on him”

They both made they way to the room they entered and saw Diego on his laptop

“what are you doing?”Elena asked with a frown

“am working”Diego replied

“You have to eat your food first”she shut the laptop and dropped the food on his lap

Alex was just starring at them

“feed me”Diego pouted

“I won’t,you are not a baby”she rolled her eyes

“I can feed you”Alex saw and picked he spoon

“drop it”Diego said coldly

“or what?”Alex asked with a smile

“I swear I’ll cut off your hand”Diego said

“But if it’s Elena you’ll gladly accept it”

“it’s not fair”Alex pouted and gave him puppy dog eyes

Elena laughed at their childishness

“Both of you stop,how can two grown men be acting like children”Elena said

“He started it”Diego mumbled

“you started it by asking her to feed you”Alex said and stuck out his tongue

“I need to leave”Elena said checking the time

“let me drop you off”Alex and Diego said at the same time
