Richard turned around when he heard her,he immediately jumped into the pool and carried her out with his arm even though it was hurting.

Her body was shaking in his arms,her hair stuck to her face as she began sneezing.

Richard carried her to her room and placed her on the bed.

He left immediately.

Kara sat up on the bed,her body was still shaking,it was a cold evening and she could easily caught a cold.

She managed to stand and changed her clothes,her breath became heavy,seems like she already caught a cold.

She sat back on the bed and got out her phone. She called Michael.

📞”Hello dad”She sniffed.

📞”What’s wrong dear?”Michael asked.

📞”I want to come back home, please”She cried.

📞”What’s wrong? What happened?”Michael asked.

She carefully explained everything that happened to him.

📞”He h@ťěs me for no reason, please i want to come back, I’ll find a way to pay him his money back but i don’t want to stay here”She said.

📞”I’ll talk to him,just have some rest first”Michael said.

📞”Okay”She mumbled and cut the call.

Richard stood at the door with a cup of hot tea,his grip tightened on the cup after listening to her conversation,he turned and left.

Richard went back to his room and sat down angrily,he threw the cup and all the content poured on the wall.

What the fûck is wrong with him?

He doesn’t h@ťě her, he doesn’t care if she thinks he does but why,why is he feeling this way?

And her face full of tears couldn’t get out of his mind,why the fûck is he even thinking about her?

Richard woke up very early,maybe because he could barely sleep at all.

He sighed and went downstairs to get a cup of coffee but as he was walking pass Kara’s room he heard soft sobs coming from the room.

He didn’t think twice before barging in.

She curled herself up in the bed,she was sweating and crying.

“What’s wrong?”He asked worriedly.

She tried to talk but her lips were trembling.

He felt her temperature and she was burning up like mad.

He immediately got his phone out and called his doctor twice but he wasn’t picking.

He picked her up in his arms, his huge frame enveloping her.

He took her to the car and drove to the nearest hospital.

He carried her out,she was already unconscious,he placed her on a bed.

“Where is the doctor?”Richard asked.

“He’s attending to another patient, he’ll be here soon”A nurse replied.

“If you don’t get the doctor here now, I’ll shut down this stupid hospital, don’t tempt me!”Richard yelled and the nurse flinched.

“Didn’t you hear me,get the d@mn doctor here!”Richard said and the nurse left.

“What’s wrong with her?”Richard asked calmly when the doctor finished the check up.

“Nothing really serious but she has a high fever,she just need rest and to take her medicine on time “The doctor said and handed him a paper with the drug’s prescription.

Richard nodded and carried Kara out.

The bus stopped in front of the school and all the students came down,they were done with the camping trip.

“Bye”Rockey waved at Britney as she went home.

“Aren’t you going home?”Simon asked from behind and she turned.

“I am”She said and walked away while dragging her bag.

“Should i follow you home?”Simon asked.

“No need you can go home, you’re family must miss you”She said.

“But I’ll miss you”He pouted and she laughed.

“Go home we’ll see on Monday…Bye”she waved.

“Bye butterfly”He said and her cheeks turned red,she loves the nickname.

Richard drove in his bike back to his parents house,the whole family was eating when he got there.

He walked straight to Holland and gave him a punch.

“Richard!”Carson yelled.

Nicole stood and and rushed to Holland.

“Why did you do that?”Carson asked.

“You should ask your son what he did”Richard replied.

“What do you mean?”Carson asked.

“Just warn him,next time he tries $h|t with me, I’ll show him how wicked i can be”Richard said and walked out.

Kara slept throughout the remaining morning,she woke up in the afternoon.

Her body felt weak but she still managed to stand as ahe was about to leave Richard walked in.

“Sit”He said and she sat on the bed.

He checked her temperature, gave her a tray of food and she quietly accepted it.

She noticed his hand was already treated and bandaged.

“How is your arm?,dies it still hurt?”She asked.

He looked at her.

“Do you need anything else?”He asked.

“Huh?”she said to be sure of what is heard.

“Do you want anything?”

“No am fine”She said,he stood and left.

“He’s acting nice now but the next minute he’ll be heartless”She sighed and started eating.

After she was done eating she took the plate down to the kitchen.

She dropped the plate and went into the living room, Richard came to her her medicines and a glass water.

“Here,take this”He stretched the drugs to her.

“What is this?”

“Your drugs,now stop asking questions and drink it”He muttered.

“Why is it syrup?,i prefer tablets”She said.

He poured the drug in a small container and gave it to her.

“No i can’t take this”She shooked her head.

“Open your mouth Kara”He said.

She opened her mouth and he poured the drug into her mouth.

“Ewww”She squeezed her face funnily.

“Omg, did you just give me poison,am going to die,i told you i didn’t want to drink this look what you’ve done, I’ll never be able to use my mouth again”She cried like a kid.

He almost smiled at her silly behaviour.

“Stop whining”He said and gave her a tub of ice cream.

“Thank you,i like when you’re nice”She smiled and he looked at her.

“You didn’t go to work today?”She asked.

“It’s Sunday”He replied and she nodded.

“Can we go out?”She asked.

“Am not going anywhere”He replied.

“Please”She pouted and held the tip of his shirt.

He thought for a while before finally accepting.

“Get ready in five minutes”

“Thank you”She stood on her tiptoes and kissed his cheek before running off.

He stared at her backside till she ran out of sight.

Kara ran into her room to get ready,she scattered her bag looking for what to where,she finally settled for a short jean skirt and a big top,she brushed her long hair,grabbed her bag and ran out.

“That skirt is too short”Richard said when she ran into the living room.

“But it’s not too bad”She said looking at the skirt.

“I don’t like it,go change”He replied with a frown.

“I don’t have anything else to wear”She mumbled and he sighed.

“Let’s go”He stood and left while she followed him behind.

They both got in and he drove off,he stopped in front of a shopping mall with a huge sign board written HIGH ‘N BUY.

“Why are we here?”She faced him.

He didn’t reply instead he got out and went into the mall.

She followed him in.

She followed him closely while he walked into the big mall,it was so big she could easily get lost.

“Get clothes for her”Richard ordered a young lady and she nodded.

He wants to get her new clothes,she smiled.

Richard sat on a huge chair and Kara sat next to him.

The lady came back with two long dresses.

“I can’t wear this”Kara shooked her head.

“What’s wrong with it?”Richard asked.

“Can’t you see the length,if i wear this people might mistake me for a num or a pastor’s wife,i want to look like the great Richard Moore’s wife”She smiled.

“Follow her and choose what you like”Richard said and she stood, following the woman out.

The lady took her to a room with manikins and beautiful clothes on them.

“Do you have anything like…..segzy”Kara asked.

The lady smiled and took her to another room with more beautiful clothes,they all had unique designs.

Kara picked three gowns and went into the dressing room.

She soon came out with a tight leather gown,it was just above her knee and it has a v neck slightly revealing her cleavage.

Richard was on his phone when he noticed Kara walking towards him.

His mouth opened and his phone almost fell from his hand, calling her beautiful was an understatement,she looked beyond beautiful,she looks like a goddess.

She was still walking to him when a guy came In front of her.

“Excuse me”She said.

“Why are you in a rush?”The man asked.

“My husband is over there if you try any $h|t, he’ll ki|| you”Kara pointed at Richard,Who was watching them and wondering what was going on.

“I’m sure he wouldn’t mind if i just touch”The man said and squeezed her arse.

“How dare you!”Kara gave him a slap.

“What the fûck”The man tried to slap her back but Richard held his hand.

“You guys always like the hard way right,stay the fûck away from her”Richard gave the man a hard punch.

The man fell to the floor and started coughing blood.

Richard moved nearer and rained the man with puches.

“Richard!,Stop!!”Kara tried to stop him but he wasn’t listening.

The man looked half dead already and Kara began to cry.

“Richard please stop you are going to ki|| him”Kara cried.

Immediately Richard saw Kara’s tears he stopped.

“Next time someone touches what’s mine I’ll ki|| them right there and then”Richard muttered with blood shot eyes and Kara gulped.
