BRIGHT TEACHERS OFFICE*

A slap on Scarlett face, making her eyes widen in shock. She totally wasn’t expecting it.

“Mrs Daphne?”she stuttered, trying to gain why she slapped her.

“What don’t you understand by Mr Jayden words on staying away from the kids on the file!”Mrs Daphne yelled.

“You did not just spoil only yourself but also us”Miss Sasha said.

“On your first day on that”Mr Zion shaked his head, making her feel scared that everything’s bursted out. Her only chance is sipping away.

“I’m…..”

“To the principal’s office!”Mr Jayden cut in as he walked in with his mean expression.

Scarlett turned towards the door, walking out. All thoughts keep running through her head as she walked to the principal’s office.

She kept contemplating on that till she stood in front of the principal’s office. Breathing in and out loudly, she gave a gentle knock on the door, but no response came.

Yet again, she gave a gentle knock but still no reply so she opened up, getting in, she gasped upon seeing who it is. Noah.

Her eyes widen as she stared at him.

He already had a change of clothes, her five fingers on his face earlier is gone and she began to wonder.

“Miss Scarlett?”his voice brought her back, taking dominance with just his voice.

What’s he?? She questioned inwardly..

“Twenty three?”he said with one eyebrow raised.

“Did you chase the principal out to be here?”she asked, trying all her best to act confidently.

“You’re quite a bold one teacher”he smirked.

“Let’s get down to business. I’ll apologize if you also do same”she said and he laughed, a laugh that lasted just two seconds.

“I did nothing wrong cheesecake”he smirked.

“Miss Scarlett, that’s the name and what you did is more than wrong!”she glared and he nodded, not to what she said but to wh@ťěver he knows.

“Should I leave if you aren’t ready to talk?”she asked after some couple of silence and he stood up, walking up to her.

“Miss Scarlett…..”he stated as he stood right in front of her, just an inch away, his appearance taking over her little body but surprisingly, she stood her ground, glaring at him real hard.

“What?”

“You’re fired”he said curtly, dropping an envelope on her head before walking back to his sit.

Her confidence and everything dropped immediately she heard that. She took the envelope from her head with shock written all over her.

“Are you for real?”she stuttered.

“I should be jailing you right now but your pretty round @zz saved you cheesecake”he smirked.

“You’re joking cause I can’t just get fired since I did nothing wrong. You stated nonsense to me your teacher and you seriously don’t expect me to laugh over it!”she yelled but he kept smirking.

The door to the office opened largely as a lady walked in. You could say she’s in her thirties but she’s crazily in her forties.

“Aunt?”Noah called but didn’t stand.

“She’s way too young for a teacher but you can say that to me also”she said, her eyes on Scarlett.

“You should knock”Noah said to her and she laughed.

“Grandpa is really spoiling you, a disadvantage”she said and sat down.

“What’s going on?”she asked.

“You saw the news so why ask”Noah scoffed.

“Fired? Come on kid, you were at fault”she said and he raised his brows.

“Excuse us”she said to Scarlett who walked out sadly.

“Remember what Grandpa said, Daisy’s death was a lot to handle so getting her fired isn’t a suggestion”she said.

“I rule here Kathy”he glared.

“Wh@ťěver, just a piece of advice. I came over for my Jayden”she stood up with a wink.

“A lowlife”Noah said but she smiled.

“Doesn’t matter with love”she winked, finally leaving. Scarlett walked back in since Kathy told her to.

“Still on me getting fired?”Scarlett asked.

“I’ll be watching you cheesecake”he smirked and she did same before walking out after dropping the envelope, there she made a declaration on submitting her registration letter after mission accomplish, she won’t be getting fired.

Noah brought out his phone, dialing a contact.

“Young master”the receiver said through the other end.

“I need everything about the photo of the lady I sent”Noah said and hung up.

SPECIAL CLASS CAFETERIA*

“Over here Paris!”Zoey called from the table she’s with with the others.

“The cafeteria looks scanty”Paris said as she joined.

“No no, it’s a different one instead”Polly smiled and she noticed it’s really a different one, not the general one.

“I’ve forgotten we got in special class”Paris smiled.

“Heard about the new English teacher?”Molly who’s on her phone asked and they all picked theirs.

“She’s staying!”Polly gasped.

“That’s new on Noah”Jermaine muttered.

“Totally new”Zoey mouthed, just then, Kingsley and Aiden entered the cafeteria.

“Hey!”Kingsley waved at them but non replied except Polly who smiled secretly.

“Since we’re in same class, we should be close”Kingsley said again.

“It’s….”Polly was about talking when Paris spoke.

“We don’t tolerate bullies and you’re one”she eyed.

“Easy baby, I’m nice”Kingsley said sarcastically and she stood up, leaving without a word.

“I swear I love her”Kingsley grinned as he licked his lips.

“She’s an hard type, not your regular girls”Aiden muttered, his eyes on Molly.

“Just be quite”Aiden glared and he laughed.

Zoey received a text message and stood up instantly with a smile.

“Leaving also?”Jermaine asked.

“Yeah”she grinned.

“You’re f-__-king keeping secrets and it’s not cool!”Molly shouted and she shaked her @zz before finally leaving..

Walking straight to the teachers toilet, she combed her hair with her hands then brought out her lipgloss as she applied, seeing through her phone screen.

She got there within minutes as he was already waiting.

He dragged her into a restroom, shutting the door instantly.

“What’s with the rush?”she asked.

“I don’t think we should keep meeting in school hours, it’s getting too risky”he said.

“At least a kiss before you start complaining”she pouted and he pecked her lips but she frowned.

“Zoey, Kathy is waiting for me, I only came not to disappoint you”he said.

“What’s with her! Are you choosing her or me right now?”she frowned.

“Jayden!”Kathy’s voice sounded outside and he froze but Zoey cared less.

“You either kiss me right now or we get cau…..”he kissed her before she could complete her statement. It lasted for two minutes.

“Jayden! Mr Jayden!”Kathy called again, going closer to the restroom they’re in.

“Tonight at the club”she careless his chest.

“Okay”he muttered then she planted a peck on his lips while he came out.

“There you are!”Kathy gasped.

“You came?”he asked and she took his arm as they walked out.

“I thought you were hiding from me”she said.

Zoey’s phone rang.

“Where are you? Class is starting”Paris voice sounded.

“Coming”she said.

HOURS LATER*

Scarlett just finished using the restroom and she came out to wash her hands, meeting Miss Sasha doing same.

Non said a word until she did.

“You seem not to like me”Scarlett said.

“Like you? Why so?”Miss Sasha asked.

“We are both young and in same office and I was thinking we would get along quickly but we aren’t”she said.

“Minding ones business would help in Delight High so please do that”she said and walked away.

Scarlett walked out but someone bumped into her. It’s Charlotte.

“You should apologize at least”Scarlett said, making her stop.

“We both bumped into each other”Charlotte said.

“No, you bumped into me while staring at your phone. It’s your fault”Scarlett said but Charlotte ignored her by walking away.

“Jeez…. they’re all rude”she scoffed, walking her own way.

Getting to the general cafeteria since it’s already lunch time, she met a junior student eating poured food on the ground while some group of students watched with laughter.

“Would…..”

“You barely escaped getting fired, Miss Scarlett”Charlotte said, walking past her and she sighed. Leaving the cafeteria since she doesn’t wanna keep seeing it.

“How did she arrive quickly?”she mouthed with thoughts on Charlotte.

8PM, SCARLETT’S APARTMENT*

“That’s quite huge, he’s more crazy than we thought”Mimi commented after Scarlett told her what happened.

“I really didn’t know how I slapped him but I was really scared when he said I was fired”Scarlett muttered.

“Scarlett?”Mimi called like she remembered something.

“I’m right here with you”she said.

“Remember the day you went to Delight High pertaining Daisy’s death?”Mimi asked.

“Yeah, what’s it about?”

“Did any student see you?”Mimi asked.

“No student was there, I was sent away by the principal himself”she muttered.

“Then we have nothing to worry, no one have to know about you being Daisy’s sister”Mimi said.

“I know that, what did you cook?”Scarlett stood up.

“This isn’t my apartment but yours, I should be asking you”Mimi fell on the bed.

“Totally forgot, want noodles?”Scarlett asked.

“Yeah”

“What about Josh?”Scarlett asked.

“He asked about you but I told him you’re out of town”Mimi replied.

“Great no one knows where I live”she said and just then, a knock came on the door.

“Ordered anything?”Mimi stood up.

“Nah, maybe it’s the neighbor”Scarlett said and Mimi opened the door.

“Who are……”Mimi didn’t complete it as she recognized who he is immediately.

“Jeez!”she screamed.

“What! Who’s that?”Scarlett asked, walking to the door, her eyes widen in shock.

“Noah….?”

“Cheesecake”he waved with a smirk.

“What are you doing here?”she stuttered.

“I was heading to club and decided to bring you along”Noah said.

“Club? You and….. he’s crazy”Mimi mouthed the last part, stepping back slowly.

“Maybe you need another slap to tell you I’m your teacher and you’re my student”Scarlett said, finally gaining confidence.

“I looked into you and found something interesting”he said.

“What…..”

“Come with me to the club and we can talk”he said, giving her his usual smirk and she gulped down nothing. Tension filling everywhere, even Mimi wasn’t an except in being scared.

Scarlett turned to Mimi with a what should I do look but Mimi gave her back the look as a reply.

“What do you say, cheesecake?”Noah muttered, making her turn back.

“Ten minutes”Scarlett said.

“That’s the drive to the club if I speed”he smirked.

“I’ll be home before ten”she said.

“Put this on then”he handed her a package.

“I’ll be in my car”he smirked then walked away.

“A club dress!”Mimi gasped upon seeing what’s in the package.
