AUSTRALIA* 5AM.

° 6 YEARS LATER °

Loud noise were heard. Cultery dropping and clanking against each other . Mica groaned for the fifth time and picked it up. She was in the kitchen preparing breakfast . Over the years she had grown more beautiful with those mature looks and her hair fell to her neck as she bent low to pick up the cutleries.

She began to whisk the eggs like a pro and went to the juice mixer to get fresh orange juice and apple juice for her as well . The pot flame up as she poured magnesium in it and began to fry the eggs.

“Jeez” she shut her tired eyes for a while then dozed off , her nose caught something burning. What could be that smell? And Where is it coming from?

 

“Are the kids toying with fire again.?” She asked then jumped in shock as the hotness of the pan reached her palm

The eggs was fried burnt!. It was as black as charcoal!. Not even eatable !! .

” Oh jeez!” She took in her lower lips rubbing her drowsy eyes. As she tried to dispose it the pan fell from her hand and made a mess on the floor and a terrible noise echoing through the house.

“Christ , dear ! Are you murdering someone in the kitchen .?” A voice teased coming from the kitchen door .

“Haha! Tia ( Auntie)” Mica laughed sarcastically at the old lady ” Why are you up so early?” She asked the woman and pulled out a chair for her as she questioned her.

The old lady gulped down water ” I should be asking you this, why are you up now ? You came in last night at 2PM. Now you are making burnt breakfast at 5AM . You are taking in too much stress .” The old lady spoke concerned.

Mica took a chair” it’s not that burnt …” . The lady stared at the burnt egg then stared at Mica who took her lower lips in.

” It’s not that burnt .” Mica insisted . She tried to eat a piece of the burnt egg but spat it out rubbing her tounge . Catelyn raised her brows smiling at Mica. Mica rolled her eyes ” it’s just salt .”

The woman walked up to the mess and picked up a piece of the burnt egg” Woah , I guess my vision and taste is getting weaker as I age gracefully.” She spoke with scaarsm that it made Mica rolled her eyes with a soft chuckles.

“Mica…”

An alarm rang loudly from upstairs startlingly both of them .

“Oh Christ ! , The kids.” Mica gasped softly and jerks up ” I have to start preparing for my morning shift .” She ran to the stairs ” Grazie Tia ! ( Thanks Auntie !).” She blew the lady a kiss .

The woman face lightened a little , she went to the gas and broke an egg , whisking it slowly ” That child .” She snarled as she fried the eggs.

Catelyn smiled as she remembered Mica at the front of her porch crying and looking stranded .

* FLASH BACK*

“Your decision , make it now .” Aurelio said with a frown.

Mica touched her stomach ” Am keeping the baby .” She said surprising them all .

” Mica…” Daphne tried to presuade her but She had made her choice .

” You are not serious. You fool. You are marrying Fedrick and that’s it !” Aurelio stormed out ,he ordered the nurses to began the abortion and ordered his body guard to man the door but when they came in. They saw no Mica.

3DAY later she appeared at Catelyn door drenched, soaked wet and desperate . Catelyn took her in without a word . She hasn’t been that lucky in child bearing and she loves children … so why should she help them get rid of the innocent being .

She remembered asking Mica twice and firmly ” Do you want to keep it .”

” Yes , aunty I want to . I can’t get rid of it. They betrayed me al of them ! . Beatrice and Fedrick have been sleeping with each other behind my back and Daddy dosent believe me . A. A….”

Catelyn held Mica shoulder firmly ” Do you want to keep it .”She locked gaze with her searching for any moment of doubt but found none in Mica eyes.

Micaela smiled In tears ” yes I want to .”

Catelyn smiled and hugged her comfortingly . That’s all she needed to hear . She knew her brother won’t suspect a thing about Mica leaving America to Australia. That night she didn’t asked how she managed to get to Australia but only comforted her .

Ever since then she watched Mica grow into a strong woman and a mother.

Micaela rushed into her room then into the bathroom, taking off her night dress in a hurry and ran into the shower” I can’t afford to be late ‘ she turned the shower and the cold waters relieved her a little calmed her nerves and stress.

“Ah!” She exhaled softly tempting to shut her eyes to relax a bit but then she frowned hurrying up with her scrubbing so she won’t fall asleep under the shower . She Sprint out after a while then lotioned her body and got dressed . She paused to stare at herself. She was wearing black palazzo pants and a camisole which she hid under her suit . She smiled at her dressing .

” Ah !” Mica clicked her fingers and rushed to her makeup table. She took a red lipstick and wore it on her lips.

“Alright ,Mica , fighting!” She smoothened and ran out of her room then silently tip toed as she passed across another room. Just as she heaved relieved that she didn’t interrupt their sleep. The door opened slowly

” Mama ( Mother) .” A sleepy voice said , the little girl rubs her eyes slowly as her blue eyes stared at Mica.

“Are you leaving so early , ?” Another tiny voice spoke and his face appeared ,he rubs his eyes sleepily.

They were both in their pajamas, and waited for an answer from Mica with blue eager eyes.

Mica stared at them both affectionately and crouched to their level ” Buogiornø piccolina hai clorm ito benè ( Good morning babies ,did you sleep well?” She asked ruffling their hairs.

” So Mama ( yess Mommy ) ” They replied while smiling at her. He

she then hugged them tightly . Her main reason for existence. They keep her going and she almost forgot a….

“Mommy ? Are you going to be late again ?” The little girl asked sweetly and tugged on Mica trousers

” No . No I will arrive early and take you two out for your birthday . La promissa (I promise ).” Mica smiled at them and ruffles their hair. She does that a lot and they gave her a dazzling smile showing their perfect set of White baby teeth.

“Pinky?” The little boy brought out his finger . Mica smiled and took it in .

“Pinky ?” The little girl asked not to be left out . Mica smiled and took it in. She pecked their cheeks and her smile broadened.

“Alright ,get back to bed .” She hugged them ,lead them to their room and tucked them back in. They closed their eyes sleepily and Mica gave them one last look. She kissed their forehead , smiled then walked out.

As she descended from the stairs , she saw her lunch box all wrapped and ready for her. Her face broke into a wide smile and she rushed hugging the old lady .

” Grazie Tia !(Thanks . Auntie !)” Mica kissed her forehead lightly . Heaven knows how starving she would be when she gets to work and the food will go long way.

The lady rolled her eyes” just take the food and get out of here .” She said then smiled as Mica frown .

“Alright , bye….” Mica waves and shut the door behind her . She drew a long sigh .

“Another day of stress and annoyance !”

Back in the house , The old lady walked in the children room , she found them asleep and smiled to leave for her room as well .

ITALY 4PM °

The room was filled with tense as the board members stared at themselves nervously , and there was the devil.

Kael . He was seated looking dead panned. No traces of emotions. Only the sound of the lighter flicking was heard in the room. Everyone was intimidated by that action of his alone. He was surprisingly calm as well. He would stare occasionally at the fire and closed it with his Palm. That action terrified them more.

Just what does he want them to say ? Some of them were practically sweating in their under wear including the males. They were not left, they were intimidated as well.

“Boss.” A female voice spoke out . She couldn’t take in the silence any longer. The silence was ki||ing them all.

“Hmmm.” Kael replied and she flashed him a smile proud of herself.

“What is our plan regarding the……”..

The fire lighter flicked and it stopped her from speaking more . Kael smiled at her . She blushed and the female staffs envied her.

He stood up walking to her not minding the intriguing stare from Bullet . A “pigs are reared by farmers . They was one among the piglet , he was a new born. He was greedy ….”

The lady eyes widened as he said that word. Kael smiled calmly as he leaned closer.

“His mother told him to always stay in the pen and enjoy the food that the farmer was supplying to them. At first he complied sonner , he got greedy and went out the farm to meet another farmer who promised him fresh New food if he can ruin his master farm. The little piggy agreed and was given fresh food by the other farmer but the farmer was quick to notice and the piggy is being caught ” Kael leaned on a chair beside her and locked gaze with her.

Her colleague shook her head with pity and some with disguist

 

” I never knew Isabel was like this” They began to gossip.

” She is gone. She should just say her last prayers ” Another whispered.

” Why would she work for Rocco and tried to pull the Boss down ? I thought she knows better ” Someone hissed as she whispered.

Kael flicked his lighter and they stopped ,he smiled at Isabel ( the lady ) and the sabatoger ” What do you think should be done to the little piggy.?” He asked with a smile that never reached his eyes and stretch back up.

Isabel had long peeped on herself , Rocco didn’t tell her that she will caught , he told her that he will handle it. So those that means the materials she gave Rocco was fake.

As if Kael could read her thought ,he walked back and sat elegantly , he took in his pipe and brought out a file in the air. Isabel pee again on her self as she saw the file.

” You are one stupid theif .” Kael muttered and as he spoke thick smoke came out from his mouth.

Isabel went on her knees ” I am sorry , boss ” she pleaded tears flowing already . Kael gave her that dead pan smile.

Everyone froze on their seats their eyes glued to Kael waiting for his next action. Instead he began to toy with his lighter again.

” I swear it will not happen again , please Boss . Please spare me . I was thr_@tened and I didn’t know what I began for . I …”

” The little piggy knows how to lie.” Kael cut in with a cold smile.

Isabel broke into another feats of tears. What was she to do now. Will she go down alone. Never ! Never!

. ” Sir.” A hand grabbed her hand and cuff it behind.

” Isabel Qusen , you are arrested for theft and embezzlement .” The cops declared and they pulled her out , all of her pleading went to deaf ears .

” It was Rocco !!!!” Isabel voice rented the company as she screamed loudly like a loose dog. A female cop hit her head with a baton and she passed out.

” Next .” Kael voice broke the silence that was envelope in the loud room . Everyone had left , after Isabel was dragged out. Kael wanted them to see the consequences of betraying him . As far he is alive , Isabel will never get out of the prison , alive.

“The media , Boss. ” Bullet said reading from a tablet .

“Oh, the media.” Kael chuckles darkly. ” Hasn’t it been long we visited Agostios ” He said with a smile. Bullet was quick to catch up and he smirked.

” I will go get his schedule .” Bullet said and began to work on it immediately.

Kael shut his eyes and relaxed on the lush chair ” We will play using his cards .” He said to Bullet who smirked deepened and began excited.

” Also , Boss . When should we drop the new job alert ” Bullet asked.

” Post it on a website .” Kael responded perhaps giving slots is affecting his company more.

Bullet smirked pleased with him self and he pass over his tablet to Kael ” fig io di puttana ( Son of a Ɓîtçh!).”

Micaela wipes her forehead lightly and began to type like a pro. She didn’t knew that she was going to work all day. She felt guilty for promising the kids , getting their hope high just to crash it .

She took her phone and texted Catelyn , her Aunt she was living with.

💌” Tied at work , please can you take the twins for their birthday lunch “.

 

Catelyn replied almost immediately . And Micaela guessed the kids is with her.

💌” Of course , like I am less busy and useable .” Catelyn typed back and Mica smiled imagining Catelyn rolling her eyes as she is typing it.

” Such a dramatic old lady .” She muttered to her self with a light smile and typed.

💌 ” Grazie Tia! ( Thanks Auntie )

” Why are you smiling and texting .?” A voice teased her and she dropped her phone . Then smiled at him . Josh.

Josh is her colleague and her persistent ” I wanna date you , kinda guy ” .

He seems really nice , but Micaela can’t bring herself to submit to any man after every man in her life practically destroyed her.

” Fine…. Don’t tell me ” Josh said lightly and dropped a file on her table. She creased her brows .

” The boss wants to see you , for a very important issues” Josh said and air quoted.

Micaela smiled at him politely ” Thanks .” She took the file and left.

He smiled sadly ” I will keep trying .” He said to himself and also walked out.

Micaela took a deep breath and knocked .

“Come in .” The voice said instantly like it has been expecting her .

Micaela smiled politely holding the file firmly in her arms and walked in . Her stilettos making noise. She saw her boss staring at her every moment .

Over the years she has added to beauty and her hips has widen a bit. She looked attractive and most especially segzy !!

Her Boss stood up and smiled , his brown and dirty teeth almost make her puke. He walked up to Mica slowly. She raised her brows.

“It better not be what I am thinking ?” She said to herself.

Mica slowly took off her hells not to his notice as he walked closer.

Mica gritted her teeth in annoyance but held her anger. She can’t be fired, tomorrow is pay day and it seems Dexter knows this that was why he flirted with her today .

Dexter smirked showing that set of brown teeth that irritated Mica. Are Men all like this.

He shut his eyes in pain as the hells nearly blinded his eyes.

” Cazzo ! ( f-__-k ! ) You liar !’ she Rushes to his drawer and saw an envelope , her name was written on it and she guessed it was her pay. So she took it and slipped it in her braisse.

Dexter was still recovering from his pain when he felt a tinge on his both checks. Mica just slapped him!.

“So this is how you take advantage of girl. You animal !” She slapped him again ” men like you should rot in hell .” She threw a punch that Dexter didn’t dodge right on time.

He groaned and pulled her by the hair harshly. She smirked instead and sprained his arms behind and he groaned hellishly in pain. But it only excited Mica , she broke his arms with a smirk on her face.

” How old are you , boss ?” She asked smiling like a psycho.” So I would know how many bones to break ?”

Dexter groaned in pain ,he tried to push her off but d@mn ! This lady is strong.

” Please. Please. Let go. I will give you your money I will give you . Please let go of my hand .” He yelps in pain.

Mica smiled in satisfaction ” How do I trust you ?”

” Believe me . Miss Fernando ! I promise we will never cross path with each other again.I swear on my mother buzzo!!” He yelled louder as he felt his wrist dislocating. Mica smirked and pushed him away.

” I resign. ” She took her hells in her hand and left. Dexter fell in a corner and tried twisting his arms but when he did .

“Cazzo !!!” He yelps in pain .

Mica rushed out , grinning from ear to ear . She smiled at the wallet she stole from Dexter pocket and the wristwatch. Her consciousness pricked her but she frowned.

” He was going to take advantage of me !” She said to herself ” And when life gives you basket of lemon , add 24 rums to it. Simple !” She cleared her guilt and rushed out of the company . Spotting Josh but she ignored him and ran faster. The workers stare at her confused ” why is she running?”

” Why is she in a hurry ?” Josh shrugged and took his files that fell from his hand. It was then that the company securities rushed out.

“Have you seen Miss Fernando ?” They tried to ask calmly but Josh sense something wrong .

 

” She went that way .” He pointed to another direction ,they nods and ran in that direction.

Josh scratches the back of his hair confused as he saw them running ” what went wrong ?” He couldn’t help but get worried about Mica.

Mica chuckles softly to herself as she came out of taxi. Thanks to some Ďïčk head that cannot zip his trousers , she paid the taxi man who smiled and drove off ..

“The kids will be in the restaurant. I should change and visit them ” she said as she opened the door just for someone to jump on her happily.

“Mommy , you remember !” Emily said hugging her tightly and Mica smiled .

” Of course, Poresito .” Mica smiled stroking Emily hair fondly and kissed her forehead.” Look what Madre ( Mother ) got for you .” She said shaking the groceries in front of Emily who snatched it impatiently from her.

“Pas ti cino (Cookies !) Emily squeal happily and hugs Mica ” Grazie Madre ( Thank you Mother ! . ) Emily said and rushed up stairs with the cookies in her little hands.

“Milano , Madre ( mother) bought us cookies .” She yelled happily as she ran upstairs . Mica could only smile . She pulled her shoe and slumps on the chair lazily .

Catelyn narrowed her eyes surprised as she saw Mica . ” You came early ?” She was dressed in a fur coat , probably taking the kids for a stroll .

Mica sighed , she took off her shoes and released her hair that fell shinning prettily and cascaded on a side of her neck. ” I got fired !” She said with a non- chalant smile and stood up heading to the kitchen.

“What ! ,. Why ?!” Catelyn gasped shocked ” What are you going to do now ?” She said following Mica who went into the kitchen.

” What else ?” Mica rolled her eyes ” I am going to eat .” Mica teased , she sliced a bread then groans at the flavor ” d@mn ! I am so hungry !!”

Catetlyn watched amused ” You think , money grows on trees , right .” She sat beside Mica wanting to lecture her but the kids rushed in.

“Madre !!!” Emiliano cried slowly and rushed to hug Mica, his little voice made a squeak” Emily is cheating me with the cookies .”

Emily stopped by the stairs laughing scornfully at Emiliano” Stop crying like a girl ! And come and take your cookies .” She threw another one into her mouth .

Mica smiled ” Emily , downstairs !” She said firmly and Emily took her lips in , her looks turned sober as she walked to Mica.

” What did I say about bulling your brother ?” Mica asked , her voice firm as she stared at Emily .

Emily picked her nails staring at the floor tounge tied ” Am sorry , Mamma ( Mommy ) I was only joking with him.” Emily said in a whisper that shows how apologetic she was.

Mica smiled ” And you Milano. How many times have I told you to use your words not tears ?’

Emiliano cleaned his wet cheeck ” I am sorry , Madre (mother )

Mica lips tugged to form a Big smile “Now both of you should give Madre a big hug .!” The twins rushed to hug her and she rocked them like babies .

“TE ÃMÓ . Mis babies .” She pulled Their checks up and they both smiled.

“TE ÃMÓ . Mamma ( I love you , Mommy )” They kissed her forehead.

 

” Oh , now am feeling left out !” Catelyn fake a sad look causing the twins to giggles.

“Te Amo . Tia !’ They rushed to kiss her and she scooped them in their arms .

” Mily , do you want to play bricks ?” Milano asked and Mily smiled at him.

“Yes , sure. !” She brought out her hand and they ran to the stairs happily. Soon their noise was everywhere .

” Don’t let it fall Milo !!”

” It won’t .!”

A smile graced Mica lips as she heard their noise. She would do anything for her children, cause they mean the entire world to her.

As she thought of that. A happy smile that radiated her face and she sipped her apple juice relishing the flavor. Catelyn who was watching her didn’t know when she also smiled .

EMERALDO MANSION .

Kael stared at the night light views with a bored look. Don’t be deceived, there is danger in every corner. The trip to Agostios was fruitless as Agostios had absconded . Probably he had seen it coming .

Kael drew out a long sigh , thick Puff of smoke escaped his lips and he smiled..

All he ever wanted was peace but it seemed unattainable . His phone rang out , he shut his eyes cussing under his breath.

“Kael….” A feminine voices whinned ” I have been trying your number , what’s going on , babe ?” She asked sweetly.

Kael almost hissed ” Where are you .?” He asked instead.

“At home .” She whispered ” naked and very horny ” she added . Her voice even came out lower and she licked lips.

Kael grunts ,he felt his Majesty harderning ” Get your Çüñť Here !” He snapped and ended the call walking to the washroom and turned on the shower .

Micaela tossed around the mattress , she shut her eyes tiredly then blinks as a notification popped in .

“Job for You !”It said and she clicked yes to continue

“$h|t !” She almost yelled as she saw the company looking for workers “Brixton ! A large multi – national company in Italy after Axis and Steel, Brixton comes next. Their pay is also massive. Even their bursar collect More than some bank manager here in Australia.

Without thinking twice , she began to fill in her application and details carefully . She can’t missed the opportunity. If she gets the Job then” Italy here they comes”

After inputting endless list of questions , more like interrogation. Micaela groaned and she inputted it successfully. Just then the door creaked and the twins head popped in with a grin on their faces .

” We want to sleep with you today Mamma ( Mommy ). They both said smiling their cute little perfect teeth at her.

Mica smiled . These two are the best thing that happened to her . After all they filled a void in her heart. She opened her arms wide they giggled and jumped in wrapping their little arms around her waist. She smiled as she stroke their hair.

” Yunno kid’s , we may move to Italy soon. .”

Mica wasn’t allowed to finish her statement as Emily squeal that they have to cover their ears.

” When . Mommy . when ? I want to see the places you read to us from the books. I want to eat Italian pasta !” Emily licked her lips and rubbed her stomach earning laughter from both audience .

” Ciao , Italia ! ( Hello, Italy!) !” Emily jumped up with her fists in the air and took off her imaginary sunshade like a rich Madam alighting From her plane . ” Woah ! It’s cold in Italy .” Emily wrapped her neck with an imaginary scarf and cat walked around the mattress making sure to twist her little hip as she did. Mica and Milano swallowed and hold their laughter as they watched her display.

” No pictures . No pictures . please . “” Emily said dramatically waving her little hands at her imaginary Audience. She stood on the bed cat walking around again and she gave her imaginary bag to her imaginary bodyguard. ” Mamma ( mommy ) Where are we lodging ?” She faked her accent perfectly like that of a rich lady.

 

. Mica couldn’t hold it any longer she bursted into laughter till tears fall from her eyes , while Emiliano held his stomach laughing . Emily joined them in laughing after a while they stopped.

 

“Ciao Italia !( Hello , Italy!) .” They said at the same time and ended up laughing .

FERNANDO MANSION *.

The clicking of plate and fork was all that could be heard as Aurelio ate his food slowly besides Daphne . He looked sick . That’s because he is sick.

He choked on his water , Daphne rushed rubbing his back slowly .

“Take it easy dear. ” She said and he nods holding his chest having difficulty in breathing .

Daphne noticed that , she opened His numerous tablets and he swallowed then smiled gratefully at Daphne who smiled but as Aurelio shut his eyes. Daphne smile turned to a smug .

Aurelio held his chest . As he opened his eyes weakly it fell on a portrait. It was a woman portrait . She looked cute spotless flawless and Incredulously beautiful. Her smile brought out her eyes . On a closer inspection you will notice her eyes resemblance to that of Mica.

He raised his hands slowly and Daphne went to bring the portrait .He hugged it to his chest smiling sadly . ” It was my fault, She murdered you .”

Daphne glanced at the portrait of the woman jealousy .

“Argh ! Kael !” The lady groans as Kael pulled out from her . She had never been man – handled like that. Kael is a rough monster in the bed and she loves it that way .

She smiled and slowly trails her hand to his abs he stared at her with a bored look . She tilt her head and Lean closer to kiss him.

” He will call me back .” She assured herself as she stared at Kael who was smoking his lungs away staring at the night view at the balcony .
