••OLIVIA’S HOUSE••

Angel just finished taking her bath when Beauty ran into her room to inform her that her friends were looking for her.

She turned to her with an inquisitive stare when she kept standing there.

“Anything else?” Angel asked

“Chocolates” Beauty said staring at the box of chocolates on her table.

Miles has made it a duty to be sending her flowers and a lot of goodies every blessed day and Beauty takes a note of them all. Today, she wants the chocolates, maybe next time, she can ask for the cookies.

“Now you remember I exist, because of chocolates?” Angel asked and Beauty rolled her eyes in her head.

“Never mind, i’ll ask grandma to buy me some. You can keep yours” Beauty said and turned to leave.

“You can have them” Angel said and Beauty stopped walking.

“I changed my mind, you can have them. No longer interested” She said and walked out.

“Of all the characters you could inherit from your father, you chose his attitude” Angel muttered and went to dress up.

She has just put on her top and P@ŋtîēṣ when the door opened and Winnie rushed in alongside Luna, Nyssa, Yvonne and Wendy.

“Nyssa, Why did you bring these dramatic noisemakers here?” Angel asked pointing at Luna and Winnie.

“Newsflash” Luna clapped her hands kneeling on the bed

“See what i’m talking about” Angel said and Nyssa laughed

“You are so quiet just like Yvonne” Winnie said nudging Wendy who only smiled and Luna cleared her throat.

“So who wants to hear the news?” Luna asked staring Yvonne.

“Why are you looking at me, is there something on my face?” Yvonne asked

“Not at all. There is absolutely nothing on your face but there is something on your phone” Luna said glancing at Yvonne’s phone.

“What are you talking about?” Yvonne said hiding her phone behind her back.

“Now you are being suspicious” Angel said.

“There is nothing on my phone. I don’t know what she is talking about” Yvonne said still hiding the phone.

“okay” Angel nodded raising her hands in surrender.

With a calculated move, they held Yvonne and took the phone from her, she palmed her face in embarrassment.

“Luke?!! They screamed at once while Luna kept grinning from ear to ear.

“Since when?” Angel asked

“how come?” Winnie asked

“I’ve always had a crush on him okay, I just don’t like the bratty attitude of rich kids that’s why I chose to love him from afar” Yvonne explained

“Wow” Winnie clapped

“Why not tell him you like him or show him you like him” Luna said and the girls looked at her

“Why would she do that?” Angel asked

“What if someone takes him away from her” Luna asked

“We are not a thing Luna, stop being dramatic” Yvonne said

“I will do that for you, don’t worry” Luna said

“Don’t do anything, Luna, I beg you” Yvonne said

“What about you?” Angel asked looking at Luna

“Me?” Luna asked pointing at herself and Angel nodded

“What about me?” Luna asked shifting on the bed

“How is it going with Ryder?” Angel asked

“Ryder? Who is that, I don’t know anyone by that name” she said and Angel smiled

“So what about the guy that said you are not his type?” Yvonne asked

“Is it not that stupid Ryder. Who does he even think he is, to tell me that he like girls with big B-__-bs and a**. Am I not pretty enough?” Luna ranted and the girls only stared at her without saying anything.

She palmed her mouth when she realized herself and the girls burst into laughter.

“I think you should help yourself first and leave Yvonne to sort things out with Luke” Angel patter her shoulders and she bit her lips.

••RICHIE’S HOUSE••

Brandy was in the kitchen making lunch when Richie came in and hugged her from behind.

She smiled and turned around, Richie kissed her nose.

“Can you just allow me to finish cooking first” Brandy asked

“Maybe I should eat first while waiting for the food” Richie said with a naughty smile.

“The food is still on the fire, do you care for apple?” Brandy asked feigning innocence.

“I don’t want apple, feed me first” Richie said with his hands crawling up to Brandy’s chest.

“The food will get burnt” Brandy said

“I don’t care. We’ll eat out” Richie said using one hand to switch off the cooker while the other hand worked on Brandy’s shirt button.

Before he could get to the last button, the door bell interrupted them and Brandy laughed seeing the disappointment on Richie’s face.

“Are you expecting anyone?” Brandy asked and Richie shook his head

“I’ll go get the door” he said and left the kitchen.

The moment he opened the door a k**fe was stuck deep into his tummy and he went down immediately.

Brandy ran into the living room when she heard the sound of someone falling.

She stopped moving immediately she saw Richie in the pool of his own bl**d.

She ran to him and held him with tears in her eyes.

“Brandy…” Richie called raising his hands to her face.

“I’m here, i’ll get help okay” Brandy smiled out tears and laid Richie on the floor trying to go and get her phone but Richie held her back.

“I think I should tell you that I love you so very much , Brandy. It was love at first sight but I knew I wouldn’t let you go no matter what. Always take care of yourself and protect the younger me in there. I saw the test results” Richie said with a sad smile gasping for breath

Brandy removed his grip on her shirt and ran to the room to get her phone.

She came back and squatted beside him holding him while putting a call across to someone.

“In my next life, I would still love you Brandy” Richie muttered and closed his eyes. The phone fell from Brandy’s hand.

She ran out of the house and luckily she found a taxi. With the help of the driver, they brought Richie out and placed him inside the taxi taking him hospital.

Another car followed them behind without their knowledge.

••HOSPITAL••

Brandy paced around the hallway waiting for the doctor to come out.

She goes to the restroom at interval and comes back to her position.

She couldn’t bear it if anything should happen to Richie.

It’s the first time she fell in love and the universe couldn’t even support her. Did she do something bad in her past life that her happy moments were cut so short?

She still remembers the first time they met and the first time they were apart, she felt like she would d*e if they didn’t make up and now he is in there fighting for his life.

She only knows of one person who k*lls that way.

She stopped pacing around and stared into space.

That means that he isn’t dé*à*

No way!!

She will be the one to need him this time. She has been looking for an opportunity anyways.

Her eyes darkened with anger.

The doctor came out and she rushed to him.

“How is he, doctor?” Brandy asked

“Are you his family member?” he asked and Brandy nodded

“I’m sorry, we couldn’t save him. He was brought a bit too late. He lost a lot of b***d” he said and Brandy felt the world spinning round and round her head.

Just then a nurse wheeled a body out of the room and she looked at the exposed arm to see the watch on his wrist.

It was the same with the one she is putting on.

“That’s… that’s Richie” she cried sitting on the bare floor.

She held her tummy as she remembered that a life was growing inside her and her tears fell in handfuls.

How would she explain to her baby that his father was murd***d before he was born?

She stopped her tears and sprang up as if she remembered something.

She ran out of the hospital as fast as her legs could carry her.

••RICHIE’S HOUSE••
Brandy came in and went straight to Richie’s room. She started searching the drawers in his room but couldn’t find what she was looking for.

She picked up Richie’s phone and scrolled through his contacts looking for his secretary’s number.

The secretary’s call came in instead and she didn’t waste time to pick it.

📞Sir, the file I asked you sign, where is it? Mr. Andrew is here” the secretary said over the phone and Brandy smiled.

📞He is not in right now, I will let him know when he comes” she said

📞Just ask him where the file is” she said

📞He said he will call you back” Brandy said and hung up.

The call came again but she ignored it and continued searching the drawers.

At last she saw what she was looking for and smiled. She took them and left the house after locking it.

‘Its about time’ she muttered
