** A NEAR BY HOSPITAL **

Arabella was rushed here immediately. Her friends are outside the ward.

Richie almost called Annie but didn’t.

The doctor came out of the ward and they rushed to him.

“She’s out of danger already but unconscious now”the doctor said and they sighed in relieve.

“Who’s her guardian?”he asked after that.

“I’m her boyfriend”Richie replied.

“Please come with me”he said and they both walked away. The girls walked in the room to see her at least.

“Let’s talk”Vince said to Julie and without waiting for her to say a thing, he dragged her away.

“I don’t wanna talk!”she snapped as he finally let go of her.

“What’s with the attitude, you didn’t pick my calls”he said.

“Did you even try to find out or you were busy spending time with Fiona!”she snapped.

“Fiona…..what?!”he smirked.

“Why? You think I’ll hide it?”she scoffed.

“Are you perhaps…. jealous?”he smirked as he moved closer.

“Why won’t I be when my bestie was busy without me”she scoffed and he laughed.

“Jealousy suits you”

“Don’t you!”she glared and he smiled.

“Fiona’s cool though”he said as he brought out a candy, ignoring her frowny face.

“Ah”he said, bringing the opened candy to her lip and she opened up.

“How was the outing yesterday?”he asked as they began walking back in.

“Great, Annie’s so friendly. She should have been a college student with a rich boyfriend”she said and laughed.

“Annie, who?”

“Richie’s mom”she said.

An hour gone but Arabella is yet to be conscious. Alex walked in the ward since they’ve all left, except Richie who went to get her food for when she wakes.

Just as he got closer, Richie walked in.

“What do you wanna do?”Richie asked, standing by the entrance with the flask and Alex turned.

“Let’s talk”Alex said instead.

“You should have said that instead of hitting me in the cafeteria and doing that to Bella”he scoffed, going to drop the flask.

“And who ask you not to hit me back?”Alex said.

“You, you made us vow not….”

“And you still think I keep that $h|t!”he shouted.

“She’s still unconscious”Richie said gently.

“You should better hit me back next time cause you might be the one ending here!”he said.

“I’m not sure of it, why don’t we end it all here, listen to my explanation at least”Richie said.

“Explanation?!”he shouted with a glare and just that time, Arabella decided to open her eyes.

“Bella”Richie rushed to her to help her sit up.

“Bella”he called again since her gaze remained on Alex.

“Are you just gonna stand there, babe?”she said and their eyes widen in shock.

“Babe?”

“Who are you and why are you touching me?”she faced Richie who’s completely shock right now.

“Who’s he?”she faced Alex who didn’t say a thing.

“It’s me, Richie”Richie said and she faced him then scoffed before getting off the bed.

“Don’t talk to me for not being the first person I see before waking up”she snapped and walked out of the ward. The both of them had to go with her.

“Bella!”Richie called but she won’t stop walking. She’s barefooted.

“Bella!”

“Babe!”Alex called this time and she stopped. Alex smirked at Richie before rushing to her.

“I’m sorry”he smiled and she hit him on the chest. “You feel better?”he smiled and she scoffed.

“I don’t wanna stay here anymore, let’s leave”she said.

“Let’s see the doctor”he said and she nodded. He connected their hands but she pulled hers away.

“Carry me”she pouted and he smiled before carrying her in a burial style, her arms round his neck. She spared Richie no glance as Alex walked past him with her.

“What’s happening?”Richie muttered before going after them.

“I thought you’re her boyfriend?”the doctor asked after staring at the three of them for a while.

“I don’t even know him doctor”Arabella scoffed and eyed Richie before holding holding Alex’s hand. “He’s my boyfriend”she said.

“Her friends who were here, call out their names”the doctor said.

“Julie, Fiona, Emily and May”Richie called.

“Hm hm, I don’t know why they didn’t wait but it won’t be nice when I meet them”she said.

“What’s the name of your boyfriend?”the doctor asked again.

“Why the questions, let’s just leave Richie”she faced Alex, grumbling.

“Richie? That’s him”the doctor said and she stood up in anger.

“Meet me at the car Richie!”she snapped and walked out.

“I think she has amnesia”the doctor said.

“Why would she mistake me for him and remember everyone else?”Richie asked.

“Since you said you’re her boyfriend, it might have had a great effect on her but it’s temporarily”the doctor said..

“So you mean he’d be acting like he’s me?”Richie asked.

“For her own good, yes. I’m sure she’d get over it before a week”the doctor said and he walked out.

“I feel glad at least, I’d make the few days memorable for her and she might want me even if she gets her memories of you”Alex said after him.

“And you think she’d be happy if she finds out? Just don’t cross the lane while faking!”Richie said and walked away.

Alex walked toward the parking lot and surprisingly, Arabella’s in his own car. How did she know it’s his.

“I wanna go to a spa first”she said as he got in the car and he blinked. She wasn’t like this or was she?’ he thought.

“C’mon start the car”she said and he did, driving out.

“Anywhere in mind after the spa?”he asked.

“To my dorm”she said and he nodded.

“What!”the girls screamed as Richie told them all that happened.

“Why would you be the one she’d forget?”May muttered.

“I’m fine with it since it’s temporary, we just have to act like Alex’s me”Richie said.

“I’m not acting as his friend though”Vince said.

“Dude”Richie pleaded.

“You want me to smile at him or what? C’mon”Vince scoffed and he looked at Daniel.

“I’ll just keep acting invisible”Daniel said.

“We’ll try”Julie said and he smiled.

“Let’s meet later”he said and left.

“I feel bad for him”Emily muttered as they watched him leave.

** NEXT DAY **

Arabella came late to the dorm so she didn’t meet any of the girls awake.

“You look stressed out”Julie said as Arabella stared at she and Fiona with a frown.

“What?”Fiona said.

“I was at the hospital and my friends didn’t think it right to come see me”she scoffed.

“We were there but you weren’t conscious yet”Fiona said.

“Wh@ťěver, why haven’t Richie brought my breakfast”she groaned.

“Breakfast?”they both asked.

“Why the shock? He do bring me breakfast”she said and they laughed awkwardly.

“Yeah….”

A knock on the door came and Julie opened up.

“Hi”Alex said plainly and she nodded, letting him in. He’s with a tray of sandwich and coffee. That’s what she requested.

“Morning babe”he smiled as he placed the tray on her lap.

“I need to brush first”she said and he took it away. “Do it for me”she said and he looked at her.

“Let’s go”she dragged him toward the restroom and the girls couldn’t help but watch.

Thirty minutes later, they were all ready for morning call. Alex left immediately he was done feeding her and new Arabella said she wouldn’t walk to school that he should come pick her up.

“You mean we should come with you with Alex’s car?”Julie asked.

“Yeah, what’s new on it?”she asked.

“Nothing”May and Fiona said at once as Alex’s car pull over.

She didn’t make any effort of opening the door till he came down and did it herself while she entered. Emily lied on forgetting something in her room and ask they leave since she doesn’t want to go in Alex’s car.

Two minutes later, the car pulled at college’s parking lot.

Much attention wasn’t on them till Arabella and Alex connected hand and she took a selfie, posting it on IG. She created the account last night as she kept asking herself why she doesn’t have an account yet.

“Why don’t we have a public kiss, I’ve got to post it”she faced Alex and his eyes widen.

“Public kiss?”he asked and she giggled, giving the phone to Julie.

“A public kiss while you video”she said and rushed back to Alex.

“Take the move”she smiled. Just then, Richie’s car pulled over and he stepped out. Arabella’s eyes closed as Alex’s lips moved closer to hers.

“Don’t you dare Alex! I’d ki|| you if you do!”Richie screamed and Alex looked at his direction with a smirk then he winked before going for her lips again.

“I’d f-__-king ki|| you Alex! I swear!”Richie screamed as he rushed to them.
