NEXT MORNING, KAINE’S SUUTE*

Kaine was on a call in the living room when suddenly the door opened and Fang came in,Axe followed with an angry look on his face which made Kaine hang up his call.

“You can go” He told Fang who immediately bowed and walked out instantly.

“What the f-__-k did you do to Adriana?! What!” Axe shouted at Kaine.

“Mind explaining why you’re here?” Kaine asked.

“We have our final meeting by ten,tomorrow is the mission and she suddenly said she’s no longer interested? She don’t want to go with us anymore?! Why happened to our plan? What the heck happened between you two!!” Axe yelled.

Kaine scoffed.

“So you came here shouting because someone said she’s no longer interested?” He glared at Axe.

“Are you crazy right now? We f-__-king planned everything out already..what do you think will happen if she informed the don about wh@ťěver you did…..”

“You can go…I will take care of it” Kaine mumbled.

“You should better apologize to her and bring her to the power room in twenty minutes” Axe snapped and stormed out of the suite.

Kaine’s phone started ringing and he checked to see queen mother on his screen,he answered the call and waited for her to speak up.

📲 Kaine…what happened between you and Adriana? You made her angry,you know what will…..

📲 I will take care of it,you don’t have to worry

Kaine cut in.

📲 Do it right away,apologize to her so the mission can go on…

Kaine hung up before she could finish wh@ťěver she was planning to say.

ADRIANA’S ROOM*

Adriana’s body figure lay motionless on the bed while staring at nothing in particular,just then a knock came on her door and she turned her head.

“Yeah?”

The door opened and Kaine walked in,his two hands in his pocket and their eyes met,he closed the door with his leg,his eyes still on her.

Adriana said nothing and just continue laying down there.

“Why are you here? To apologize?” Adriana scoffed.

“I’m still surprised you’re still here and the empire is still as peaceful as before” Kaine spoke up and a frown appeared on Adriana’s face.

“What are you talking about?” She asked.

“You reported me to Axe and queen mother? Why? I was expecting something bigger,I’m still surprised you haven’t called your dad to report to him so he can destroy the whole empire or maybe order some men to get rid of me,I was expecting something like that….”

“Kaine!…..”

“Don’t talk when I’m talking!” Kaine yelled back and Adriana gulped,in anger,her fists pressed.

“You think the mission won’t be successful because of your absence? We’ve been doing shits without your presence so what gave you the belief that we won’t do it without you? Like d@mn you’re f-__-king amazing Riana,I h@ťě people who can’t admit their wrongs,you called someone nothing? Ahh..I must have been mistaken,thinking you’re someone who’s worth my time so you think I give a f-__-k wh@ťěver you think? Screw that silly thoughts of yours. In a nutshell,if you’re not interested again,then f-__-k yourself and remain here,I’m going to handle it without any crazy bait” Kaine said and removed his hand from his pocket.

Adriana was already in tears,heavy ones pouring down her cheeks.

Kaine checked the time on his wristwatch.

“Just seven minutes more,if you’re not there before ten,forget about doing anything” Kaine said and walked out of the room right away.

Kaine entered the power room and everyone bowed,except Axe who was glaring.

“Where’s Adriana?” He asked.

“I gave her seven minutes,if she miss it then we do it another way without her” Kaine replied and everyone exchanged glances.

“Without her?” Axe asked.

“You heard me” Kaine looked at him and Axe scoffed.

“You went to her and thr_@tened her?” He asked.

“You expect me to apologize to her? You can go ahead and do that if you want,,I don’t know how to apologize to people,especially the ones who think they are too big” Kaine replied and went to take a seat.

The whole room was quiet,nobody made a move or tried to talk.

Axe checked the time and it’s just three minutes before the meeting starts,at that same moment the door opened and all heads turned to see Adriana walk in.

Her mood shallow,unlike her usual bright mood,she was wearing joggers and hoodie,like she dressed up in a hurry.

Sapphire chuckled secretly and Billie smiled.

Adriana sat down on the only space available,just beside Kaine but Kaine didn’t glance at her,he was focused on his phone.

“Let’s start” Axe muttered.

“I’ve decided to add three more because of the numbers,we might not be able to get them all” Axe spoke up and everyone exchanged glances,wondering who and who he would be choosing,then Axe spoke up.

“Knife,Tyson and Bian” Axe said.

“Bian is not doing that” Kaine spoke up and everyone gave a shocking expression.

Bian bit his lips.

“What do you mean?” Axe looked at Kaine.

“No meaning attached,just…He’s not going with us” Kaine looked back at him.

“And why? If I may ask? Aren’t we supposed to choose the strongest and most capable….”

“So Bian is strong? How strong? Our goal is to come back here safe with no one getting hurt…”

“It’s normal for anyone to get hurt….”

“Normal for you not me,,I don’t mind getting hurt,but don’t drag a nineteen years old kid to your own belief” Kaine snapped and the room was quiet again.

Axe turned to Bian.

“Do you agree with him? He’s saying you’re too weak to join us and you’re just a child,do you agree with what he said?” He asked with a smirk and everyone looked at Bian.

Bian’s eyes met with Kaine’s own before speaking up.

“I’m sure he doesn’t mean it that way,He’s just concerned about me” Bian muttered.

“Really? But he’s not concerned about the rest?” Axe asked.

“Are you trying to force him?” Kaine asked.

“I just don’t understand why you care so much about him,is there something I don’t know?” Axe chuckled.

“He can join us then” Kaine said and Bian looked at him.

“Now you’re…..”

“But I will step down” Kaine cut Axe off and everyone gasped.

Axe frowned.

“What are you….”

“You can choose between Bian and Kaine…that’s what I’m trying to say” Kaine interrupted.

“Bian can stay back then,,,Knife and Tyson should be enough” Axe muttered and Kaine rolled his eyes.

The meeting continued after that.

“Adriana will go in first….Risky hacked into Johnson’s phone and he’s expecting a Ɓîtçh tomorrow,like you said Adriana,He’s a manwhore” Axe ssid and Adriana nodded.

“He called one of the popular sluts agency and one of them with be at his service tomorrow evening around 6:30pm…the plan Is to meet their boss before that time and make sure she testifies that Adriana is the right one she sent” Axe said and the gangs nodded.

Axe looked at Kaine before leaving the front, Kaine got up and took over.

“Kael and Tyson will be doing that….with masks” Kaine uttered.

“Yes boss” The two answered.

“By 6pm….everyone would be present around Johnson’s mansion before Adriana gets there…Fang will drive her separately” Kaine paused and looked at Adriana.

“I understand” She mumbled.

The projector came on and Johnson’s mansion came into view.

“It’s not possible for Adriana to escape unnoticed even if she succeeds in ki||ing the old man,when that happens. Kael, Tyson, Knife and Billie can handle the men outside..right?” He asked.

“Sure boss” They all answered at once and he continued.

“Axe,Sapphire,Sasha,Alex and I,together with Adriana will handle those inside” Kaine said and looked at Axe.

“I love the arrangements” Axe mumbled.

“If you still can’t dodge bullets by now,then you’re not worthy of being here….I don’t want to lose anyone tomorrow” Kaine said and nobody spoke up.

“I will guess the silence means you all are ready then” Kaine said.

After about ten more minutes,the meeting came to an end and the gangs started leaving one after the other,soon it was remaining just Kaine and Adriana.

“Why are you still here?” Kaine asked.

“I’m sorry” Adriana mumbled and got up,she walked over to him and hugged him tightly.

“I didn’t mean to make you mad,I’m sorry,please don’t ignore me” She cried on his chest.

Kaine said nothing and broke the hug.

“Forget about this and get ready for tomorrow” He said.

“Are you still mad at me?” Adriana asked.

“No” Kaine replied and they went out together.

“You should stop crying,it doesn’t look good on you” Kaine said before walking away.

FLASHBACK, 14 YEARS AGO, A MANSION*

It was around nine in the night, about five hefty men surrounding a man and his wife,they were sweating so bad.

The men were holding different weapons,axe,swords,knives even gun,their boss was sitting on the couch smoking.

“Please spare us!! Please” The woman cried out,her husband holding her tightly.

“I h@ťě that word!!! I told you your lives has been paid for,stop begging!!” The boss yelled.

“I will do anything you want,please don’t touch my wife,you can ki|| me instead,please” The husband also cried,holding one of the men’s leg.

“Shut up!!!” He kicked him with his shoe and his mouth began to bleed.

“Are you sure you searched the entire house? They are the only ones? I thought they have kids” The boss asked.

“Yes”

“How many?” The boss asked.

“They have two boys,where are they?”

“I don’t know!! Please they are not here!!” The woman cried out loudly.

“How dare you!!!” The boss yelled and shot her head three times.

“Ahh!!!! No!!!! No!!” Her husband cried out as she dropped dead into his arms.

“Search the whole house again if their kids are anywhere” The boss ordered.

“No please! Not my sons!! Just ki|| me!!” He grabbed their legs.

“Don’t touch me!!”

Two of them th-ru_sts in their swords inside him.

Their kids were hiding behind and hidden door where it’s hard for anyone to find out,anyone inside would be able to see what’s happening in the living room but the ones in the lobby room won’t see anything.

The eldest son who’s about ten years of age immediately covered his little brother’s eyes as the men murdered their father in the most cruel way. His brother was just five.

He covered the little brother’s mouth as well,his eyes completely red,no tears coming out but they were so red as he watch the scene in front of him,the men stabbed their father countless times,they even cut off his arm before he dropped dead on the floor.

He watched them without shaking,making sure to see their faces,all of them.

“Search the whole house!!” The boss ordered.

Minutes later,they returned.

“Boss,we searched everywhere but it’s all empty”

“Bring the house down” The boss ordered before going out.

The eldest son immediately carried his brother,his hand still covering his mouth even though the little one was struggling to get off his grip but he never let go.

He carried him and went out of the house through the back door where those men would never find out even if they try to. They were barely out when the house blew up and they were thrown off separately.

The eldest got up first,one of his legs already got injured,but he didn’t mind,he walked over to the little one who was unconscious on the ground,his head covered in blood.

“Teddy….hey…open your eyes” he tapped him,,tears falling from his eyes but nothing happened.

Like that,he carried him in his own little hands and one leg,finding his way into the dark night to wherever he can go for his little brother to wake up,he fell countless times but he still kept on going and going.

END OF FLASHBACK, KAINE’S OFFICE*

Kaine stared endlessly at the necklace in his hand,his veins visible all over his body,his eyes red,a normal person would be crying at this point,those painful memories were traumatic but he wouldn’t,he never does.

He kept the necklace safe again and took out one phone from inside his drawer and turned it on.

He dialed a number immediately and the person answered right away.

📲 Boss.

📲 Any news?

📲 At all boss….nobody bares the name here either,are you sure he’s still alive??

📲 Keep searching.

📲 Alright boss.

Kaine hung up tbe call and switched the phone off again.

Just then,the door opened and he looked up to see Bian coming in,he closed the door behind him.

“Why are you here?” Kaine asked.

“My head hurts” Bian mumbled and sat down.

“Your head? Why?” Kaine got up and walked over to him immediately.

“Did something happened?” He asked and touched Bian’s head with worries all over his face.

Bian grabbed his hand and dropped it.

“If you keep acting this way,,then what you’re trying to hide is going to be out. I was joking” Bian muttered and Kaine sighed.

“If you’re fine then you can go” He muttered.

“What you did in the Power room only made more people curious…..”

“You coming here makes it harder” Kaine cut in an Bian scoffed.

“Can you at least tell me what’s going on? Huh? Why are we hiding for exactly? How did we ended up here and you promised to tell me what happened to our parents,just what the heck is going on….”

“Leave, Bian” Kaine cut in.

Bian stood up angrily and stormed out of the office.

8PM, SWIMMING POOL HALL*

Knife entered the hall and met all the lights on,she turned toward the pool and a figure was inside,swimming.

She raised her brows and started walking closer,none of the gang members care about swimming at night except her,she’s the only one who’s always here,it’s her first time meeting anyone swimming by this time.

She paused when the person brought out her head from the water and shook her hair side ways before wiping to the back,,it’s Kat.

Knife frowned immediately.

“What are you doing here?” She asked.

Kat looked at her.

“Swimming” She replied.

“This place is only for the gangs,not strangers” Knife snapped.

“Oh…sorry I didn’t know,I just missed swimming so bad….”

“Get out” Knife cut in.

“You don’t have to be so rude,I just apologized” Kat frowned.

“Like I care,Leave” Knife said.

Just then,they heard footsteps and they both turned to the direction to see Bian coming in.

“Hey! Bian!” Kat immediately called from the water and waved her hand.

Knife glared.

“Oh…Kat” Bian smiled but stopped when he saw Knife also.

“I’m going out now” Kat told Knife and immediately went out of the pool,running over to Bian.

“Careful,don’t fall” Bian said and grabbed her waist when she almost slipped.

“Why running?”

“I’m just happy to see you” Kat smiled.

“I can’t hug you because I’m wet” She said.

Bian looked at Knife who was also staring at them,he looked away from her and faced Kat back.

“You should go……..”

“How about a drink together?” Kat cut in.

“How about later?” Bian asked.

“Huh? Why” She pouted.

“Stop” Bian chuckled.

“Fine…call me when you’re ready” She kissed his forehead before walking away.

Bian looked at Knife,she was already getting rid of the big jacket she was wearing.

“You should follow your new girl” She muttered when Bian started walking over to her.

“I don’t need permission to do that” Bian said and she faced him.

“So why are you here? To watch her swim like you do to me?” She asked.

“You sound like you’re mad at me” Bian said.

“I f-__-king apologized to you!” Knife screamed.

“But you still continue flirting with her? Why? Because I don’t act so clingy like her? Bet you’ve kissed her as well” She said and wiped her tears.

“If you’re still mad at me because…..”

“That’s enough” Bian mumbled and she looked at him.

“I just don’t…..”

Knife ran over to him and kissed him,stopping him from speaking further.

Bian broke the kiss almost instantly.

“How about we don’t do this?…”

“Why! Because of her?! Now you’re in love with her? You’ve fallen for her?! Why!” Knife screamed.

Bian bit his lower lip and said nothing.

Knife covered her mouth and started moving back.

“Was it love? What you felt for me..was it love or just…was it just a slight crush? You got over me so soon,it hurts,I just can’t think straight right now. You were smiling at her just now but your expression towards me is scary,I don’t want to cry so easily but you’re making me go crazy already,why did I fall for you when you’ve gotten over me? I don’t know how to be desperate,I don’t….but now I feel that way,coz I’m in love with you now,,,its hard to get over,I can’t” She shook her head and squatted,crying loudly.

“If you’re still mad at me because I once saw you as a little brother,I’m sorry” She said.

Bian stared at her,he was dumbfounded,totally.

He immediately moved closer and grabbed her hand,she refused but he pulled her up forcefully and hugged her.

“You’re making me feel bad,stop crying. I like the hard Knife better,I’m sorry for making you cry but…”

“I don’t want to hear it!!” Knife screamed and he kept quiet.

KAINE’S OFFICE*

“He’s inside,I’ve been trying to wake him up but..” Fang shook his head and Bluey was confused.

“Is he sick?” She asked.

“Of course not” Fang chuckled and opened the door for her.

Bluey ignored the guards staring at her and went in,it’s not her first time there anyway.

After passing through the right path,she finally opened the office door and there was Kaine,sitting,his back resting on the seat with his eyes closed.

Even with that,he was looking hot,his hair covered one side of his eyes.

Bluey bit her lower lip and shook her head to stop the naughty thoughts in there.

She moved closer to him and swept the hair covering his eye away,she continue staring at him.

Just…how can he be so handsome and dangerous at the same time??

She was so lost staring at him that she didn’t know when Kaine grabbed her hand and pulled her down to sit on his laps.

“Ahh!” Bluey gasped loudly and her face landed on his chest,the sweet lavender scent filled up her nose.

But she raised her head immediately,not wanting to embarrass herself,she met Kaine staring at her his eyes now opened.

Bluey swallowed.

“Why are you here?” He asked softly.

Bluey was tempted to stroke his fluffy hair like a baby but she didn’t dare.

“I came to check up on you….you’ve been working all day,you must be tired” she mumbled.

Kaine stared at her blankly without saying a word.

“Aren’t you hungry? I’m going to cook for you….”

Kaine shook his head like a child and Bluey smiled,she loves it whenever he makes such cute face,she loves it so much.

“What do you want then?” She asked.

Kaine’s eyes fell on something,she saw where his eyes landed but she pretended not to.

“What do you want?” She repeated her question.

“I want to suck Břě@šť” Kaine pouted.

Bluey’s cheeks turned red.

“What if I didn’t asked?” She raised her brows.

“I’m going to suck them on my own” Kaine replied.

“What if I didn’t come here?” Bluey asked.

“I will go out and find you to give me Břě@šť” Kaine replied and Bluey broke into laughter.

“Pretty” Kaine mumbled and Bluey froze.

“Huh?” She wanted to be sure of what she just heard.

“You heard me,,You’re pretty” Kaine uttered.

“Thanks” Bluey mumbled and started playing with her fingers.

Kaine’s phone rang and they both turned to see who the caller is.

Queen mother was on the screen, Bluey was expecting him to answer the call but he ignored it totally.

“Your….call….”

“This is more important right now” Kaine said and started unbuttoning her shirt.

For real? Her B-__-bs are more important?

She was still thinking when she felt his mouth wrapped on her Ɲīpplë.

“Ouch!” She gasped and Mõ@ɲed.

Her fingers slipped into his hair at once.

She continue Mõ@ɲing,when he bit her a little,her head fell to the back.

Kaine squeezed the second one with his hand.

“Master…..”

Kaine released her Ɲīpplë and it made a little pop sound from his wet red lips,which made her Mõ@ɲ again.

Kaine wrapped his arms around her waist and placed his head in between her B-__-bs, his eyes went closed.

Bluey blinked in confusion,what is he doing?

“Soft perfect pillow” Kaine grumbled in his sleep.

Bluey bit her lips.

“Naughty Devil” She didn’t know when that slipped out of her mouth,she covered her mouth hoping he didn’t hear her,until he spoke up.

“Devil’s barbie” He mumbled also.

Bluey couldn’t stop smiling,her cheeks turned red.
