<NEXT MORNING>

“Your grace. Your grace”. A voiced called and slowly Jade began opening her eyes on the the bed she laid, only to see Kai staring worriedly at her, he looked completely different in the robe he wore. Jade was sure it was the acceptance robe, cause it looked the same as the minister’s uniform.

“Your grace. Are you alright?”. Kai asked slowly and Jade sat up slowly still wondering what happened.

“Thank goodness you’re alright”. Kai heaved a sigh of relief as he sat right in front of her.

“You’ve been asleep for hours now”. Kai said and Jade only blinked in puzzlement as she took her gaze to his clothes and he sighed.

“The acceptance ceremony already began, and the servants did a lot in assembling everyone into the main court where the announcement of respective positions will be made”. Kai said and Jade nodded getting off the bed, as she slowly walked towards the balcony hoping what she saw was a mere nightmare.

She walked into the balcony staring around, the duvet that fell from her hand wasn’t there and Kai walked in also searching around for her.

“What are we looking for?”. Kai asked as he even gazed down the rails at the activities going on outside.

“I dropped the duvet on this floorm The Emperor? Where’s he?!”.”. Jade asked with widened eyes.

“I was about asking you that”. Kai replied and Jade’s eyes widened as she fell to the ground and broke into another rounds.

“I thought it was a dream. I really ki||ed him”. Jade mumbled and Kai’s eyes widened.

“Ki-ki||? The Emperor’s dead?!”. Kai asked with widened eyes but before Jade could answer a huge commotion was heard outside from the main court and turned to the direction of the door unsheathing his sword he faced Jade.

“Wait here your grace”. Kai said and went out leaving Jade who continued to wallow in hurt as she cried out her eyes.

<MAIN COURT>

“Aren’t those demons, he’s enrolling into the court?”

“After keeping us waiting for hours he finally shows up with demons?”

“Since it’s the Emperor they might not be bad demons”

“Wait–isn’t that the Wang’s oldest daughter?! I thought they all died or something?”

Many mumbled as Danxu dressed in the Emperor’s royal robe continued reading, while Mina stood right next to him, still dressed in her maid’s outfit.

“And Zush our new Prime minister!!”. Danxu amnounced loudly and the most scariest of all the demons present came out to take his status medallion, while everyone gasped loudly in another uproar, Mina was the only one clapping supportively all through.

“Was i the only one expecting it to be Kai?”

“It should have been Kai”

“Does the Emperor wants Kai to remain his servant for the rest of his life?”

Many mumbled amongst themselves in the court and Asa who stood beside the servants gulped down fearfully as she began toying with her fingers nervously, she glanced at Mina who gave her a mocking look and Asa shook her head disappointedly at her.

“Now bow to me as our selection has finally ended!!”. Danxu shouted and everywhere became filled with more gossips only Mina went on her knees to bow and Danxu’s eyes reddened with rage as he used his powers to lift one of the subjects from the ground where he stood and began choking him to death, which made everyone shout as they immediately went on their knees in fear.

“We’re sorry for delaying your majesty!!”. Everyone said randomly but Danxu was still hell bent on choking the man as he finally choked him to death and drained all his blood and little energy into his system and many began crying.

“Your majesty!!!”. Kai shouted in shock as he walked into the court only to see Danxu digesting someone’s energy then when he was done, he threw the lifeless body to the floor like it was nothing, then he smirked at Kai who only stared confusingly at him.

“You can’t remain my guard forever? What makes a lowly guard like you, think you could demand for so much!?”. Danxu snapped angrily and Kai frowned when he realized his voice was entirely different from the Emperor’s, then slowly Danxu began sitting on the Emperor’s throne but before he could sit Kai flew from where he stood to where Danxu was, then he placed his sword on Danxu’s neck which made everyone gasped out loud on their knees.

“You’re not the Emperor. Where’s he?!”. Kai shouted enraged and many’s eyes widened while Danxu only smirked.

“We were expecting Jade but this fool had to come out”. Mina rolled eyes as she glared at Kai from where she stood. Her only focus was on Jade so wh@ťěver happens to Danxu was none of her business.

“I’m Danxu. Danxu Cheng! Not Damien!! I’m the rightful heir to this throne!”. Danxu
said loudly as he tapped on the hand of the throne and everyone’s eyes widened more.

“The ex Queen Mother’s son?!”

“How come he looks so much like the Emperor?!”

“I thought he was exiled?”

“Where’s the real Emperor then?!!”

“Did he ki|| the real Emperor with his dark powers?!”

Many said in lots of terror and panick and before they could blink Danxu gripped Kai’s neck and threw him to the door of the court and Asa’s eyes widened but she calmed down when she saw he landed at the foot of someone and Danxu seeing the person smirked.

“Our soon to be Queen aren’t you?”. Danxu asked then laughed mockingly and Jade only stood glaring at him as she began moving closer, her fist balled as she walked through the crowd, who stared back at her, wondering why she was still in her sleeping garment.

“What makes you think you can impersonate the Emperor?!”. Jade sneered h@ťěfully when she stood right in front of Danxu who only glared back at her.

“Impersonate?! Your stupid Emperor took what rightfully belonged to me!!”. Danxu snapped and immediately summoned his sword, then he put evryone prrsent except Jade and Mina under a barrier, thatw ill stopnthem from coming closer, as he charged towards Jade.

“Don’t you dare call D stupid”. Jade glared angrily as she telekenised one of the standing guards sword into her hands and charged towards Danxu also.

They got to each other and their swords clashed loudly and immediately a huge fight ensued between them, with Jade having the upper hand.

<FORBIDDEN FOREST>

“I hit her head with a stone out of anger a little because she couldn’t do the dishes properly and she dies?! Well this is where she deserves to end for being so weak! At least she’ll go meet her mother down there!”. Mistress Yeri said and as she was finally done burying Cherry’s body with the shovel she held and then, she cleaned her sweaty face with her raggy clothe and then finally threw the shovel to the ground, she also fell to the ground laying happily on her back as she stared into the sky but she soon began crying.

“I’m all alone here! I traveled all the way here, to the center of the forest just to bury this witch! But then, won’t she live happily over there than me over here? Shouldn’t i just die also! My man died pitifully after mourning for his useless son, he didn’t even think about I who did alot just to keep him alive! No! I’ll rather go someone else and redeem my status as a noble woman! I could just become someone’s mistress again! Yes, my life will be better now!”. Mistress Yeri said to herself as she stood up from the ground and began walking away but suddenly the sunny sky changed into very dark clouds.

“What’s wrong with the weather?”. Mistress Yeri asked herself and the moment she turned to stare up at the sky lightening suddenly came from the sky and immediately it struck her there and she fell lifelessly to the ground.

AT THE PALACE…

Danxu fell helplessly to the floor spitting out blood as Jade appeared before him and chopped off his right hand from his shoulder and his eyes widened instantly as he groaned out powerfully in pains.

‘How come she’s so powerful?’. Danxu thought and Jade in full anger pointed her sword at him an many began hailing her.

“Will you leave peacefully or should I just ki||–

Jade wasn’t done talking when Mina appeared from nowhere and sliced her right her with the sword she was holding, and the moment Jade in anger turned to face her Mina instantly sprayed pepper dust into her eyes and her eyes became blur instantly as the pepper began burning every inch of her gaze.

“Your grace!”. Kai and Asa shouted but they couldn’t be of help because of the barrier Danxu had earlier placed on everyone so they wouldn’t move and Kai began using all his powers to break the barrier but nothing seemed to work.

“Good Job girl!”. Danxu praised Mina as got up holding his bleeding shoulder since that was where one of his hand had disappeared from, then he began walking towards Jade.

“Don’t come near me!”. Jade shouted as she still held her sword defensively even though her eyes wasn’t open as it still burnt hurtfully.

“I’ll end this whole thing once and for all!”. Danxu said but Mina raised up her hand, and broke the metal edge of the sword she was holding into two.

“I would like to hear her cry out first. I’m bald and it looks good on me, so let’s see how she looks with hers bald also”. Mina smirked and Danxu walked to her almost strangling her woth his strong gaze.

“Let’s finish her once and return to the throne!—

“Not after I’ve shaved off her entire hair!!! She’s the reason why I’m bald so she also deserves to get even her brain shaved off—

“Mina!!!!”. Danxu shouted in anger and Mina smirked at me.

“I know the hand she cut off was the reason behind your powers! Now that it has successfully been cut you’re powerless!! So if you don’t want me ki||ing you myself, keep your distance!”. Mina thr_@tened slyly and Danxu balled his only hand as he watched her slowly approach Jade from behind so she wouldn’t sense her presence.

“Your grace look behind you!!!”. Kai shouted and everyone began shouting also, but it was impossible to hear them as long as they were still in the barrier.

“Your grace! Your grace!!”. Everyone shouted as Mina finally got to Jade but the moment she grabbed Jade’s hair a golden arrow flew from no where into her skull and the arrow was too powerful that it divided her whole body from her head to her toes into two and both parts of her body fell lifelessly to the ground, dark blood spilling out of it and many gasped out.

Then a very dark metal arrow flew into Danxu’s chest and the only hand he was left with, fell lifelessly to the ground.

“Ahh!! No!! My hands!!”. Danxu shouted and Jade wondered what was happening same with everyon else, as they began looking around for where the arrows came from.

Then suddenly, a golden aura began appearing right in front of the throne and everyone’s eyes widened when they saw it was the Emperor, his golden bow and arrow in his hand, but it soon disappeared.

His usual cold face more domineering than ever as everyone bowed to greet immediately, relief and excitement could be found in their voices.

And right in front of Danxu appeared Damon who was glaring daggers at him, many were shocked at Damon’s presence but dare not speak.

“Long live the Emperor!!!”. Ex minister Zhuo who had been hiding behind the crowd suddenly shouted as he came to knee in front of the crowd.

“Long Live!!”. Everyone chorused and Jade blinked out tears the moment she heard them.

“D’s back?”. She mumbled tearfully and the Emperor seeing her in tears began walking towards her, he hadn’t even gotten to her when she began sensing him and by the moment he got to her, she hugged him tight even couldn’t she couldn’t see him and the Emperor hugged her back, smiling warmly, as he continuously kissed her hair while she cried intp his chest.

“I missed you”. Emperor Damien muttered and Jade quickly broke the hug her eyes still closed.

“I’m sorry. It’s all my fault, i shouldn’t have let you receive the sun, I almost sent you to your death”. Jade cried loudly and the Emperor took her face into his hands and began caressing it.

“Stop crying. It worked”. The Emperor said as he placed his hand on Jade’s eyes and immediately her gaze became clear as the whole pepper dust disappeared from her eyes, then her pretty eyes finally saw him finally clothed in white royal robe and she hugged him once more.

“I’m happy it did”. Jade muttered and the Emperor broke the hug as he stared into her eyes.

“I would have come earlier but I had to make your father do something for us real quick”. The Emperor said and Jade blinked in confusion.

“What was that?”. Jade asked.

“We can get married now with no problems. You can become my Queen now my Jade”. The Emperor said and Jade’s eyes widened while many rejoiced merrily.

“Really??”. Jade gasped her eyes shining beautifully and out of temptation the Emperor wrapped his hands around her waist and pulled her in for a kiss.

“Yes”. Emperor Damien muttered amidst the passionate kiss and Jade smiled as she rested her hands on his chest while she deepened the kiss and everyone cheered and danced happily inside the barrier.

‘Are they trying to make me miss my Sindu?’. Damon scoffed rolling eyes.

Then thoughfullly, Damon broke the barrier.

“Long live Emperor and his new Queen Jade!!! Long live!!”. Everyone called and responded at the same time joyously and Damon frowned.

“Long live the Emperor and his new….

“Long Live the Demon King!”. Damon said clearing his throat loudly and many eyes including Jade and the Emperor’s turned to him after they’ve broken the kiss.

“Are we all deaf in here?!”. Damon almost snapped.

“Long live the demon King”. The Emperor stated with a sigh like he just said it so Damon could hold his peace.

“Long live the DEMON king!!”. Everyone shouted immediately following suit.

“Better”. Damon said smiling proudly ashe adjusted his robe, while everyone kept chanting his name and Jade chuckled..

“How come he’s here?”. Jade asked facing the Emperor who was staring at Damon with a side eye as his people kept singing Damon’s praises.

“I met him on my way here. He noticed sone of his men were missing and was on his way to fight me to get them when we collided at the border. It wasn’t easy explaining anything to him but I did”. The Emperor muttered with a sigh like he felt pity for himself and Jade smiled tapping his shoulders.

Danxu tried running but Damon moved closer and stepped on his bleeding shoulder which made him cry out painfully.

“You dare recruit my men to serve as your ministers after brainwashing them? I’ll make sure i ki|| you even though your goody brother doesn’t!”. Damon thr_@tened in a low menacing tone and Danxu shivered fearfully. The demons he crowned ministers all stood by side of the throne staring blankly like lifeless logs, as they looked completely mindless and void of what was going on.

Then the Emperor walked to Danxu his strong glare on him, as he summoned his sword.

“I just wanted what was mine from the start you bastard! Your mother’s beauty bewitched my father and even after her death her spell on father wasn’t broken, that witch still made him crown you the Emperor, you don’t deserve it—-

Danxu wasn’t done speaking when the Emperor sliced off his head from his sword and everyone’s eyes first widened when Danxu’s head landed on the floor but when Damon began clapping loudly evryone cheered nonstop.

“You should have let me ki|| him though”. Damon scoffed at the Emperor and the Emperor faced him.

“@$$h0le”. Emperor Damien replied and Damon frowned at him, and they both began exchanging mean glares.

“How about friendship between you two?”. Jade suddenly asked coming in between them before they would fight and the two kings grinned childishly before exchanging side eyes.

“Never!”. They responded at once, but Damon suddenly smirked facing the Emperor.

“We can’t be friends, but what of an alliance between our unborn children?”. Damon asked moving closer to the Emperor whose eyes widened along with Jade’s.

“Children? So fast?”. Jade mouthed and Damon nodded at her.

“His daughter will marry my son, and ofcourse my son will be the ruler of this kingdom together with mine, after the marriage!”. Damon announced and everyone gasped.

“You’re so despicable”. Jade mumbled speechlessly her mouth agap.

“Do you agree Damien?”. Damon asked with a smirk extending his hand for a handshake and the Emperor smirked back taking his hand.

“Ofcourse i agree. But if I give birth to a son, your kingdom and your daughter becomes his too”. The Emperor said and Jade shook head at the both of the.

“What if they both give birth to boys or girls?”. Asa and Kai said together and then glanced at each other and laughed.

“And the penalty for breaking this alliance is that whoever breaks the alliance will have his child ki||ed by the other—

“What kind of penalty is that?!

Jade couldn’t finish when…

“Agreed”. The Emperor cut her off and Damon smirked at him before winking at Jade.

‘I need a whole lot of energy wine to reproduce a son, quick!’. Damon thought in his head before disappearing, the moment he disappeared the Emperor faced Jade.

“Let’s go start working”. He said and before Jade could protest he swept her off the floor and also disappeared.

“You’re now the new prime minister right?”. Asa asked Kai.

“Not officially, but yes”. Kai replied and immediately Asa hugged him tightly.

“I’m happy for you”. She muttered into the hug and Kai smiled hugging her back.

“Be happy for us instead”. Kai replied sniffing in her daisy flower scent and Asa grinned.
<3 DAYS LATER>

“Long Live the Emperor and his new Empress Jade!!!”. The royal announcer said loudly in the huge well decorated red themed court as the two couples in question walked to the grand throne in their red wedding attire.

Then finally they both sat on the on the throne. With Jade looking more beautiful and the Emperor more stunning.

“Long Live!!!”. Everyone cheered loudly for their newly wedded Emperor and his Empress.

(NOON: THE BEST WEATHER THE KINGDOMS HAS EVER WITNESSED)

“Asa will you marry me?”. Kai asked his gaze piercing through Asa’s as he offered her a beautiful bouquet of flower for the proposal. He actually did the whole preparations in the large garden, in his newly acquired mansion.

He was now the prime minister, the richest and most strict minister in the whole country.

Asa broke into tears as she took the flowers from him.

“Took you a whole year to say this?!”. @zz shook head and Kai took in his lower lip. She was dressed beautifully in her luxurious purple robe, then she slammed her lips on Kai’s and he kissed her back.

***DEMON CLAN***

“Get the tiger skin and feed her before she puts to birth. I can’t loose to Damien”. Damon said to the physician who was with panting Sindura on the bed.

Sindura was heavily pregnant and she was already due. And the physician bowed going to get what Damon asked for while he sat with Sindura on the bed. Other servants who stood by excused them.

“How are you feeling?”. Damon asked taking Sindura’s sweaty palms but she pushed him away.

“I can’t wait any longer Dammy, just let me put to bed already!!”. Sindura shouted and Damon patted her forehead softly.

“You will very soon trust me. But I can’t risk my kingdom going to the hands of Damien so we must have a son by all means”. Damon said and Sindura grabbed his hair tight pulling it very tight.

“Aahhh!! Sindu!!”. Damon shouted.

“I’ll use my pregnancy hormones to disturb you if you don’t let me deliver now!! For six months it’s been medicine over medcines!! If not elephant blood today, it’s lions limb tomorrow! I’ll ki|| you if you don’t let me give birth now Damon!!!!!”. Sindura shouted loudly as she pulled his hair while he continued shouting loudly.

“Anybody outside?! My Sindu wants to put to bed now!!!”. Damon shouted in pain as Sindura kept pulling his hair.

<PALACE>

The physicians walked out of the Emperor’s chamber and immediately everyone standing outside including Kai, Asa and the Emperor together with lots of the new ministers and Servants rushed to them.

“How’s the Empress?”. The Emperor asked and physican smiled widely.

“Congratulations your majesty we’ve got a very strong heir bestowed unto us by Shenghai. Our little prince is very cute”. The physician said and everyone shouted happily and the Emperor tipped off the physicians happily before running into the chamber, Kai also tipped them same with his fellow ministers.

Walking into the chamber the Emperor met the baby and his wife on the bed. Jade was already weakly asleep while the little pronce instead of crying like every new born, played with his mother long hair as he even grinned to himself revealing his tiny cute gums.

The Emperor got to the bed and carried the little prince into his hands. Then bent to peck sleeping Jade on the lips.

“We’re going to name him Taixu meaning great and radiant, as you wanted Jade”. The Emperor said smiling as stared at his chubby son who stared back at him, blinking cutely with his little hands folded and mouth very pouty, and then the Emperor leaned forward to place a kiss on his forehead.

“What’s with the loud cries? My son is strong enough not to cry after birth, or did he take after his mother?”. Damon questioned himself, his haor completely and Zucchini only smiled expectantly as they waited outside his chamber with some few ministers.

Then the physician came out of the chamber and bowed to the Demon king.

“Congratulations your majesty. The demon Queen has just blessed us with a very beautiful demon princess—

“What?!! Princess?! Who crowned her that you?! You must be very mad! Go in there and bring me my son!!”. Damon shouted and everyone glanced at him in confusion, till he stormed into the chamber in full rage only to see Sindura smiling as she cuddled her cute little princess fondly, she had actually stopped crying.

Then when Sindura faced him she smiled gesturing for him to come see his baby and when Damon made to take a step forward Zucchini suddenly appared before him.

“Your majesty, news has been brought that the tenth province was blessed with a little prince”. Zucchini said and immediately Damon held his chest tight.

“My kingdom now belongs to Damien?”. Damon gasped and out of shock he finally passed out..

“Your majesty!!”. Everyone around shouted.
