“Be Quick Jade”. Emperor Damien said to Jade, as she rushed to take his hand.

His face or other body parts wasn’t visible only the hand reaching out to her.

The moment the Emperor felt Jade’s hand on his, he held it tight and dragged her to him with all his strength but that was when the porter he used in reaching out to Jade closed and Jade fell back to the fourth realm.

The Emperor stood in his chambers with widened eyes, he turned to Kai who was now on the floor nursing his arm, but seeing the Emperor staring at home with no Jade in sight Kai went on knees immediately.

“I wasn’t strong enough, my energy began draining and i let the porter disappear.” Kai apologized and the Emperor sighed before facing the wall again. It was on the wall in his chamber that he had earlier created the porter.

“I should have held the porter while you reached out to her instead”. Emperor Damien replied his fist tightening then he opened his palms making to create another porter but Kai quickly held his hand stopping him.

“Don’t you think it’s against the rules of the heavens your majesty? What if you get dethroned for bringing back the dead.” Kai questioned and the Emperor shrugged his hand away hitting the wall hard and that particular place his fist met had a crack, while the Emperor’s knuckles began bleeding but he had a straight face on, while his eyes was filled with fury.

“You really think I should wait for her to return in centuries to come?”. The Emperor asked and Kai only sighed.

“That’s quite far even for supernaturals—

“Exactly! But Shanghai wants me to wait!!!”. Emperor Damien growled turned facing Kai who moved backward in fright.

“Leave”. Emperor Damien said and Kai bowed before walking out of the almost demolished chamber.

“I’ll just think of another way instead”. The Emperor muttered in a low tone, with his fist bawled once more.

“It closed? Why?”. Jade asked sadly as she looked around for the hand again in the clouds but nothing and a tear fell from her eyes.

“I don’t want to stay here, where are you Damen–Daim–Da–mi-Damon! I can’t even pronounce his name!!”. Jade screamed loudly falling to the floor again and the heavenly officers and the dead people lined up shifted their gaze to her.

“Sometimes i wonder why even mad people have to die also?”. The first heavenly officer shook head at Jade.

“They die and come to stress us here, gosh when’s Shanghai returning. This lady’s noise is getting out of hand and leg”. The second heavenly officer sighed before facing his work.

“Where are you Dammy!!”. Jade cried again not bothering to wipe off her tears this time around, but she suddenly just stopped crying.

“I should just wait a little. At least he didn’t forget me”. Jade mumbled hugging herself as she tried not to cry again.

EVENING TIME>>
<DEMON CLAN>

Shanghai sat on Damon’s throne going through a particular scroll with the other gods while Damon stood in front of him glaring at him, then Sindura walked in with a tray of tea, and Damon’s angry glare followed her as she walked past him going to serve Shanghai who smiled at her.

Damon had earlier ordered for Sindara to be sent back into the dungeon.

“Such an effective bride you’ve got here naughty Damon”. Shanghai said and Damon rolled eyes.

“Stare at her all you want you want but just know that you’re too old for her!”. Damon spat angrily.

“You’re also too old for her”. Shanghai replied sipping from the tea Sindura served him.

“That’s a lie!!”. Damon snapped.

“How old are you child?”. Shanghai asked Sindura.

“87”. She replied and Damon frowned.

“You see! Meanwhile you’re the same age with Damien.” Shanghai scoffed sipping from his tea again as he read through the scroll.

“Don’t bring up that name in my kingdom”. Damon warned and one of the gods scoffed.

“Which means he’s 500 plus?–

“You know Damien’s age but not mine?!”. Damon spat angrily at Sindura who went to stand beside Shenghai.

“Don’t bother running. He can’t hurt you as long as I’m here. Even though this scroll doesn’t really find him guilty of anything yet–

“He ki||ed my father! The only true general that ever served just because of his insecurity and inferiority complex! He also forced me to give him my medallion just so he could take my father’s army! He almost ki||ed me and hurt my sister also! What do you mean by his records are clean?!”. Sindura found herself shouting loudly and Damon’s glare on her tightened as he balled his fists while Shanghai stood up from the throne.

“For a demon that’s a nice record and normal deed. As long as he didn’t cause any harm to people from the tenth province. And as for your sister I would have taken her myself for sending Asuras to the tenth province, but i realized that punishment under the demon King is whats best for her. So literally only your sister is the guilty one not Damon–”.

“He’s planning a surprise war also–

“Sindura!!!!”. Damon growled angrily and Sindura in fright kept quiet instantly.

“Really? You’re planning a war? Against who the Asuras? Don’t tell me it’s the tenth province–

“I don’t know what you’re talking about” Damon cut Shenghai off and he nodded.

“I’ll keep a close eyes on you”. Shanghai said his stern gaze on Damon.

“My ancestors will, so don’t come here acting all bossy again. Thanks for your annoying visit though hope you never reach the heavens safely”. Damon cursed with a smirk.

“Thank for your prayers, I’ll be sure to remember them”. Shanghai smiled back and Sindura’s eyes widened.

“You’re–you’re leaving already? Why?! Not yet! Please do something and take him with you, otherwise he’ll ki|| me once you’re gone!!”. Sindura pleaded with Shanghai who faced her.

“You shouldn’t have displeased him in the first place. You both issue is one I’ve learnt not to get involved with”. Shanghai said before leaving through the roof with the other gods and Sindura’s eyes widened as she watched them leave, while Damon only stood were he stood smirking at her.

“He’s gone. Who’s going to save you from me now”. Damon muttered creeping the hell out of Sindura who fell to the ground in shock, then Damon began moving slowly towards her and she moved backwards on the ground.

“Should i drink from you instead? That will be a better punishment for your loud mouth”. Damon said smiling creepily and Sindura’s eyes widened instantly as she stood up from the floor.

“St-stay away from me!!”. Sindura shouted at the top of her voice before running away and Damon scoffed before running after her.

NEXT DAY

<PALACE: SERVANTS QUATERS>

“Good day Kai”

“Morning Kai”

“You look refreshing this morning, Kai!!”

“Love your perfect face!!”

Most servants who walked passed Kai greeted and he only with a nod, he held his usual straight face as he made his way to the library. The Emperor actually to return a scroll.

After dropping the scroll and coming out of the library, he saw a few servants walked passed him flashing him their usual smile but instead his mind went to Asa and he stopped on his track.

“I should check if she’s adjusting properly”. Kai said to himself as he began walking to the servants Quaters.

Getting there right in the field of the Quaters he saw a bunch of servants around the huge well, washing and spreading. Some even doing the dishes.

His eyes searched around for Asa and it didn’t take time before they saw her. She still stood out even with the servants clothes she was putting on, she was the one fetching the water used by the servants to wash.

“Look at the snail go!”. A fat looking servant mocked and other sevants at about twenty in the well laughed as they watched Asa slowly draw water from the well, she was the one incharge of filling fifty barrels for the other servants to use in washing the curtains and sheets used in the palace.

A work meant for five people was what she was forces to do alone.

“Gosh! Can’t you pull the water a little faster my lady! We won’t be able to wash anything if you don’t finish quick!!”. A second servant mocked and the others laughed loudly again.

Asa on the other hand had a straight face on as she continued the pulling the water from the well. She wasn’t used to it so ofcourse she was slow.

The white and grey coloured robe of the servants did nothing to her incredible look, mostly caused she had persobally slimfitted it to her taste so as not to look as un kept as the other servants, not like the uniform was tattered but the servants never cared about their appearance and so they never treated their uniform properly.

Asa’s hair was packed in a bun and few strands scattered on her sweaty face as she pulled water relentlessly from the huge well.

“The Emperor can be cruel at times. Look what he did to our pretty lady from the great Wang Household”. The servant beside Asa said as she was washing on the plates used in the servants kitchen..

“Great indeed. I remember working at that household for a whole month and in all my years of being a servant, that was the worst experience”. Another said scoffed glaring at Asa h@ťěfully.

“You were putting up all airs like you were a kings daughter or something! No one would easily know she was just the daughter of a mistress cause of how good Minister Wang treated all his children. Even the real lady of house daughters never dressed like how this thing here does!!”. The same servants spat spitfully and the others threw Asa an h@ťěful glare, while she only kept pulling water from the well even though she could hear them.

“I worked there for a week also, but left the moment i heard one of the mistresses pushed a pretty servant out the window of her weakling son. Imagine accusing a young innocent soul of rape, I guess her wrath has finally caught up with their worthless family”. Another servant said.

“Lia? I heard about her also! How I wished the Emperor just ki||ed everyone in the Wang family! They’re so brutal!!”. A servant spat kicking the bowl she was using to wash angrily with her leg.

“Hey! Did you hear what they’re all saying about your wicked family?! Why are you still here and not gone from this kingdom?!!”. The fat servant snapped loudly walking to Asa who still ignored them. Kai’s fists balled at the servant’s remark.

“Maybe she thinks the Emperor would still notice her, wasn’t she one of the contestants?”. Another servants replied.

“Yes i remembered the scene. Imagine she begging the Emperor with those fake tears of her, thank goodness he didn’t fall for it and made her a servant like us! Now she’ll be able to feel our pains also!”. A servant said hitting Asa’s head slightly from behind and Asa stopped pulling the water throwing her a glare and the other servants laughed

“What? Why the glare? You’re going to call your gaurds on us or report us to your father?”. The particular servant that hit Asa’s head said hitting her again on the same spot and Kai made to walk to them, but Asa gripped the girl’s hand tight twisting it hard and the others gasped as the girl began yelling out in pain.

Then Asa threw the others a stern glare.

“I was one of the contestants true! But i was also one of the most trained, i won’t put down my sophisticated aura cause I’m a servant like you all. I won’t take it from any of you all! If my family treated you badly go face them yourselves and stop venting your frustrations on me!!—

“You think you didn’t annoy us also?!! Hana you remember when we got to the main market to try some silk wear on, who made us wait in line for the whole afternoon just because she was in the store and couldn’t decide on the particular robe she wanted to buy?!!”. A servant asked the other.

“Yes i remember!! I got scolded by the head maid for returning late to the palace that night, because lady Asa was out shopping and any store she was in we the lowly privileged aren’t allowed in!!”. The Hana replied glaring at Asa who immediately let go of the girl she was holding and the girl moved away from her nursing her hand.

“If that’s the reason why you h@ťě me then I’m sorry to say that your h@ťě is just forced! Every other nobles in this city does it, why should i be an exception? Or were we really in the same class? If you were in my shoes you wouldn’t have done the same—

Asa wasn’t done when a servant threw a metal plate at her and the plate edge left a in her cheek before falling to the ground, her blood were even trickling down the cut, Kai’s eyes widened instantly.

“You stupid wrench! Hear the rubbish you just said!! You don’t even feel remorseful at all?!”. The fat servant who actually threw the plate at Asa spat angrily as she walked towards Asa.

“And what did you say about if we were in your shoes?! Tell me? Who wants to be in your filthy shoes! You fell from grace to grass so wishes to even borrow those worn out shoes of yours for even the slightest second!!”. The fat servant said pushing Asa’s chest hard and she staggered backwards towards the well.

“You are one of us now! You have no d@mn pride over us anymore!! We’re all equal here so you dare not order us on how we should see you! If we h@ťě you, we do! Nothing’s changing about that you hear me!!!”. The fat servant said as she made to push Asa again but Kai stepped in front of her this time, pushing the fat maid’s hand away and she fell to the ground.

“It Kai!”

“Since when does he visits the servant’s quarters?!”

The servants gasped as few random to help the fat servant up.

“Do you all want to be expelled from the palace for bullying?”. Kai thr_@tened sternly and everywhere became silent as the servants shook their heads slowly.

“Then let it be the last time happens again”. Kai warned and some servants nodded slowly before returning back to their work.

Kai then turned to Asa who gave him an unpresentable stare.

“Did i ask for help?”. Asa asked and Kai said nothing at first.

“I know but you would have fell into the well if–

“Learn to mind your business next time”. Asa sneered before closing the well and walking away.

“Why is he defending the witch?”. A servant mumbled.

“He even pleaded for her at court yesterday”. Another servant said.

“Kai’s too good for her hope he doesn’t like her”. A servant added.

“Where’s she going to? She filled only ten out of the fifty barrels, who will fill up the remaining ones?”. The rest of the maids whispered as they watched Asa leave.

Kai watched her leave for a while before going after her. He finally caught up to her when she was about entering the room she was squatting with five other servants.

He held her arm and made her turn to face him.

“Asa what’s wrong with you? Why do you keep giving me the cold shoulders?”. Kai asked and Asa grinned leaving Kai in puzzlement.

“Should i smile at you each time I see you then? I should be grateful you helped me wipe my sister off the surface of this realm?”. Asa said and Kai sighed.

“How many times do I have to tell you that those were the Emperor’s orders–

“And you’re the Emperor’s personal guard that’s why I want you to stay away from me!! You’ll just make things more harder for me by following me around and making everyone gossip about me! So just stay away!”. Asa snapped before opening her room door and going in, leaving Kai to stare at the door.

He looked disturbed and baffled as he turned away from the door and began walking away.

<FOURTH REALMS>

“Hey! Noise maker!!”. An heavenly officer called Jade who was sleeping soundly on the misty floor and wouldn’t wake up.

“Noise maker!”. The heavenly officer shouted again, this time using the spear in his hand to tap her face lightly and slowly, she began waking up mumbling dome words out of her mouth.

“I’m hungry”. She mumbled turning from side to side her eyes were slowly opening but she was stil feelingl sleepy.

“Hey girl! Wake up now!!”. The heavenky officer called again hitting his spear to the ground loudly and immediately Jade jolted up from the floor standing straight with her eyes wide opened as she stared at the officer.

“Shenghai’s back, he wishes to see you”. The officer said and Jade’s eyes widened.

“Really? He his?!”. Jade asked brightly.

“Come with me”. The heavenly officer said and began leading the way while Jade immediately began following him closely from behind.

The heavenly officer took Jade towards the huge heavenly castle and Jade noticed that whoever they walked past always stopped to stare at her. Both spiritual lords and godesses.

“Who’s she? Why does she looks like?–

“ You think she’s the one?”

They all kept on talking and even few bowed to Jade who was shocked as she kept on following the heavenly officer.

She stopped to admire a lot of fantastic images and sight also. Everything was just too good to be real nothing like them in the tenth province.

“Walk faster”. The heavenly officer said to Jade as he stood right in front of the heavenly court were Shanghai was waiting. Then Jade walked to stand behind him.

“Watch wh@ťěver you say to the grand lord for your words shall determine your reincarnation, no one has ever reincarnated more than twice but for some reason you’ve been reincarnated nine times so your chances of getting reincarnated this time is very slim”. The heavenly officer advised and Jade nodded practising how she would greet once she goes in.

“You may go in”. The heavenly officer said taking his stance outside, and Jade sighed before walking in but she came out again.

“His name his lord Shong-hi right?”. Jade asked the heavenly officer cluelessly amd his eyes widened.

“No! Lord Shanghai!”. He corrected and Jade nodded sharply.

“Okay got it! Good day Shenghai, I’m Jade from the tenth universe–tenth providence-province!”. Jade practiced walking into the huge court hall and her eyes widened as she saw how everything was just perfect but she soon snapped out of it when she saw Shanghai standing at the far front, facing his huge throne thereby backing her.

Jade sighed as she tightened her fist nervously.

“Good day Sheng hai, I’m Jade from the tenth province”. She muttered trying to keep in mind as she walked closer.

“Good day Lord Shong hair, I’m Jade from the tenth providence”. Jade muttered to herself again as she stepped closer.

“Good day Lord Sh-shen hai, I’m Jade from the tenth providince”. Jade mumbled quietly as she finally got to him.

“What were you chanting?”. Lord Shenghai’s godly voice asked not turning to face her, his hands behind him as he stared at his throne.

‘This is the opportunity, greet Jade!’. Jade said to herself and immediately she went on her knees bowing to the ground recklessly and mistakenly she hit her hardly on the ground making Shanghai scoff a little at her stupidity since he could hear her.

Then painfully while stroking her hurting forehead Jade raised up her head from the ground, placing her hands on her kneeling laps she opened her mouth to greet.

“Good night Lord Shaolin! I am Jade from the tenth procedure!!”. Jade greeted loudly and Lord Shenghai’s eyes widened as he turned to stare at her with a huge frown on his face….
