DAMON’S BEDCHAMBER..

Sindura sat on the bed, dripping wet as she hugged her laps tight while she cried into it.

Damon only stood stoicly in front of her watching her cry. He was also dripping wet, and had earlier taken off his et robe, leaving him in only his black garment trousers and his unrealistic perfect upper body trickling with water. His perfectly chiseled abs screaming hot. As his dark black hair stuck to his face.

Seems instead of saving drowning Sindura with his powers he had to jump into the cold lake instead.

His strong muscles tightened, his veins visible and fists balled as he watched her in annoyance.

“Cause you remember me now, you’ll cry yourself to death? Was I that horrible?”. Damon asked but Sindua didn’t reply as her face was still buried in her lap, which only pissed Damon off more.

“You dare ignore my question?!!”. Damon roared at the top of his voice and Sindura flinched in fear as she slowly raised up her head, to face his scary gaze.

“You want the silver medallion right? It’s still inside of me, I’ll give it to you– I’ll give it to you and I’ll explain to father’s grave that his life long desire couldn’t take place, cause we couldn’t work out, b-but p-please, we’re too different people and you even h@ťě me! Just set me free and let me leave!!”. Sindura found herself yelling afrer starting off coolly and Damon wanted to strangle her there and then,but seeing the countless tears running down her eyes he held himself back.

“h@ťě you. Do I need to love you before we get married? You love me and that’s enough”. Damon muttered holding himself from strangling her.

‘She just said she wanted to leave, she dares plead for her leave after pestering me to love her back?!’. Damon growled in his head completely pissed as he began gritting his teeth inside his mouth.

Sindura wasn’t done speaking when Damon gripped her neck tight in anger, his strong hold raising her up from the bed she sat and making her float on air, as his fingers strangling began growing longer, as his eyes gleamed with anger and h@ťě, totally red now.

“You dare say that to my face? You forced yourself to love me? Who does that? You make my blood boil Sindura, and when it does the only thing I can think about is drink yours”. Damon replied his red eyes darkening and Sindura’s eyes widened.

“I will take the medallion from you–but I’ll also be taking alot more from you, after all I’m a devil who doesn’t free his captives so easily”. Damon said smirking darkly.

“No-No please…I’m sorry, I just wanted to live I didn’t want you ki||ing me again…Ahh!!”. Sindura screamed as Damon pulled her closer to himself, her soft chest slamming his as he moved both Sindura and himself closer to the wall and Sindura’s blood ran cold when her back touched the wall.

Damon drinking anyone’s blood means death and right now she needed to survive and nothing else.

“Be a good girl and face right”. Damon said his gaze straight as they stared at startled Sindura, who doesn’t look ready to present her neck to the beast before her at all.

“Please-Sp-spare–me just this once”. Sindura found herself mumbling out of fear and Damon moved closer, making her shiver as he brought his face to her ear.

“But you didn’t spare my heart”. Damon whispered into her ears shocking Sindura as she stood like a ply of wood with widened eyes, and before she could she recover Damon grew fangs and sank them deep into Sindura’s neck, sucking every inch of her blood he comes across.

“Ahh!!”. Sindura found herself screaming loudly as she rested her frail palms on Damon’s solid chest hoping to push him away but her strenght were a joke compared his, as Damon wrapped both his hands around her waist pulling her more closer as he sucked her blood while Sindura slowly began feeling dizzy, as she became limp and passed out in his arms..

Then uninvitedly Zucchini bardged into the room in tensed, seeing what he interrupted his eyes widened as he instantly dropped to his knees bowing in apology.

“I’m very sorry for bargding in on you your majesty! But I’ve been dying to report this to you and just can’t wait anymore”. Zucchini said all at once and Damon finally let go of unconscious Sindura as her body fell to the bed, pale and weak.

Damon wiped the blood stain on his lips with the back of his palms as he approached Zucchini.

“What report?”. Damon asked his red eyes on Zucchini like if the news wasn’t too important he’d ki|| him for cutting short his meal.

“Just last night, the same time a city in the tenth province got attacked by the Asuras, our clan also got attacked by their secrond troop also and ki||ed more than thousands of our army. Now we’re worried the Asuras might attack anytime soon and we’ll fall vulnerable to them since our security has bern tampeted with”. Zucchini explained still on his knees, and Damon’s eyes widened as he moved forward.

“Sindara sent the Asuras after us as well?!!”. Damon shouted in rage and he smirked when Zucchini nodded in response.

“That waste. I’ll surely be the one to end her myself”. Damon smirked.

“Get my robe ready, I’ll be teaching a castaway a lesson by tomorrow morning”. Damon said and then turned to unconscious Sindura.

“Tell the servants to get her into warm garments”. Damon instructed before leaving and Zucchini bowed before leaving.

<THE WANG’S MANSION>

“I don’t think I’ve ever seen you visit my chamber before senior wife”. Mistress Gora asked smiling creepily as Lady Wang walked into her chamber with her personal maid behind her.

“I just came to see if our heir is doing fine, after the whole rape scandal—

“Lani!!”. Mistress Gora snapped walking sharply to were lady Wang stood staring at her.

“Never speak so lowly of my son like that. It’s a big disgrace if words gets out that he was almost R@P£D by a stupid servant!!”. Mistress Gora yelled looking all tensed and Lady Wang smiled at her.

“But Gora, i know Lia very well, she worked for me few weeks back remember? And through her serving period she was really a sweetheart even my Mina grew a little fond of her, are you sure…your son didn’t act too rash and made everything look like poor Lia’s fault?–

“So what?! Does it matter?! You performed black magic which is worse so tell me who are you to question my actions, afterall she was nothing but a slave!”. Mistress Gora said and immediately Lady Wang threw her a smirk instead of getting angry.

“You just reminded me. Where’s the so called perverted hair of this household? I’m here to take back what i gave him, I’ll be needing it for tomorrow”. Lady Wang said and Mistress Gora’s eyes widened.

“Really?! Seriously?! I’ll go call Jun now, please wait here!”. Mistress Gora gasped in shock before running out of the chamber only to come back walking with Jun following her from behind as he grumbled, but upon seeing Lady Wang he instantly went on his knees to greet her.

“Good evening–senior mother”. Jun said and instead of rolling eyes like she always did, Mistress Gora pulled him up his feet.

“Yes! She’s your senior mother who deserves all the praises as she’s here to free you completely! You’ll no more be having sudden attacks again!!”. Mistress Gora said and Lady Wang only stood staring at Jun who faced her.

“Seems the attack really comes and goes. You’re not weak again, well let me have what i gave you before you fall under another attack”. Lady Wang said forming a dark purple bubble energy with her two hands and immediately sent it to Jun’s forehead, and then the purple bubble came out with a shiny red and golden blood in it, Lady Wang smirked widely as she placed the red blood into a white container and turned to leave.

“But–i was just getting used to it. I’m powerless now without it can’t you just give me a second chance…

“Shut up!”. Jun was cut off when his mum hit his shoulder to keep shut.

“You were really useless with it. Now I knwo why Shanghai didn’t give you any powers”. Lady Wang replied calmly but harshly, shehad already taken few steps to her exit when…

“Hope you won’t use that to cheat at tomorrow’s contest for your daughter?”. Mistress Hora suddenly asked, and Lady Wang only sighed out lightly.

“Learn to mind your business Gora, please just do”. Lady Wang replied before fully walking out of the chamber.

<PALACE>

“One arrow and another arrow! Gives two arrows!”. Jade said counting with the countless arrows placed before her by the Emperor and Kai.

They were currently in the army’s artifact room.

“Good!! Now move to the next!”. Kai said smiling widely as he pointed at other arrows for Jade to address.

The Emperor only stood by the side rolling eyes at their childish interaction from time to time, with his arms wrapped. He and Kai were literally putting on the same blue with and white royal guard robe, as it fitted their perfect physique, the Emperor even took off his mask revealing his perfect handsome face, soothing the chilled night perfectly.

“Two arrows and another two arrows put together is–

“Go on. I told you just now, try to remember…

Kai encouraged and Jade nodded as she racked her brain for the answer and the Emperor shook head at her in disbelief.

“Okay let me put it this way, you’re hunting deep in the bush for a beer to win the contest tomorrow, but you were given two arrows each to hunt down your animals, and then you found a deer and almost ki||ed it but didn’t, cause you felt for it, so your two arrows was still safe then, Asa your sister gave you her own two arrows when she noticed you were a beginner and would need more arrows to ki|| the assigned animals. Now you had two arrows before, plus the one given to you by Asa how many are they now going to be all together…

“Zero”. Jade replied boldly and the Emperor seeing the shocked look on Kai’s face almost broke into laughter, but Kai shouldered it all and smiled.

He and Kai literally takes turn in training her since she wasn’t the type to listen completely to one person’s instructions. Now it was Kai’s turn to go through the headache.

“Your grace. Why zero?”. Kai asked friendly trying so hard not to loose it, as he stood behind Jade who stood in front of the big tables filled with arrows then she faced Kai.

“Zero cause, firstly there’s no way I’m feeling compassion for any deer that derserves to be cooked”. Jade replied and the Emperor broke into laughter while Kai only stood staring at Jade with a fed up look on his face.

“And in the process of ki||ing the deer, I’m sure I’ll miss the first shot and maybe the second so surely I’ll end up with zero arrows”. Jade replied and Kai nodded.

“But..I said Asa will give you two out of–

“That’s impossible! Asa’s highly competitive and would never give her only arrows to me during a competition. Plus, why do you keep using Asa as an example? Do you like her?”. Jade asked and Kai’s eyes widened.

“What–i’m literally helping you so you would stand a chance amongst elites $h00ters at tomorrow’s contest and you accuse me of liking your sister instead?”. Kai gasped trying to hide his embarrassed face.

“But—

“Shut it, what do you know about two people liking each other?”. The Emperor cut Jade off and she faced him.

“If-i don’t know then how come i kissed you at the field earlier?”. Jade blurted out shocking the Emperor.

“Huh?!!! You-two kissed again and he allowed it?!”. Kai asked Jade his eyes almost falling out from too much widening.

“Of course we did! And he loved it–

“Shut up!! Shut your mouth you you dullard! That’s the only thing you think of!”. Emperor Damien cut her off and Kai walked to the Emperor.

“You should have just stopped her before she kissed you. Unless you also wanted it…

“You feel entitled to question me? Just because i let you spelling for her slide you want to question me?!”. The Emperor replied with a sharp scoff and both Kai and Jade’s eyes widened.

“You both think you could fool me? This sharp mouthed witch next you doesn’t even know what two plus two is and you expect her to be able to spell ‘pronounce?’ how exactly? Is she the god of knowledge who grabs things quickly!?”. Emperor Damien foubd himself saying, wondering how he began talking so much, he threw Jade who stood behind Kai a glare, but instead she smiled and ran to him, making him wonder why.

“You knew and still gave me my present. Just tell me you wanted to kiss me and I won’t tell anyone else”. Jade whispered into the Emperor’s ears on her tiptoe and he instantly walked away from there.

“Make sure she continues studying”. Emperor Damien said to Kai before leaving.

“You’re leaving already?! Dammy!!”. Jade called after the Emperor and Kai quickly ran to cover her mouth.

“What in the tenth province is Dammy? Don’t tell me that’s a nickname, gosh you’re unbelievable”. Kai said letting go of Jade’s mouth as he walked back to the table and she followed him.

“You know, sometimes you act like Ming but he’s more blunt, but supports even my most stupidest ideas”. Jade suddenly said as she inspected the arrow edges with Kai who became speechless from what she said, but seeing her almost dipping the arrow into her wide opened mouth his eyes widened as he took the arrow from her.

“You just arrived from the kitchen and now attempting to eat an arrow?”. Kai questioned and Jade only kept quiet scratching her head, then she picked up a silver bow and arrow from the table and began walking out.

“Where are you heading to?!”. Kai yelled after her.

“I want to try $h00ting arrows more!”. Jade replied walking out the door and Kai blinked staring after her.

<QUEEN MOTHER’S CHAMBERS>

The Queen was about going to bed when she saw a shadow jump in through the window and she immediately got up to check who it was.

“You promised to make everyone h@ťě him! Why the sudden love for him in the streets of every village i pass through to come here”. A tall figure asked and the Queen Mother sighed going to him tight.

“You should learn to greet me before stating your complaints. I colluded with foolish ministers that made everything obvious for the emperor to catch on. Don’t worry, everything ends tomorrow, after tomorrow he’ll have a bride that follows our every command and then lead to his doom, you’ll take back what rightfully belongs to you”. The Queen Mother said stroking the hair of the figure she hugged.

“I can’t wait mother. I just can’t wait”. The figure replied removing the long black hoodie that covered his face and his face became visible, as he possessed exactly the same facial features like the Emperor, just like his carbon copy.

<PALACE FIELD>

The Emperor and Kai stood watching Jade from a distance. With a blank look on the Emperor’s face, Kai was loudly cheering Jade anytime she hits a bulls eye.

Then Kai suddenly stopped facing the Emperor whose head was filled with thoughts.

“Your majesty. What if someone sees you, you’re not putting on your mask”. Kai said from beside the Emperor.

“It’s too late for anyone to”. The Emperor replied as he watched Jade keenly with a straight look on his face.

“What if she wins the game and ends up removing the sword?”. Emperor Damine’s voice came and Kai shook his head.

“It won’t happen. You had everything planned already, that’s why she’s the only one who doesn’t know tomorrow’s the finals”. Kai said and the Emperor sighed nodding.

“But she’s been improving alot lately what if she just shows us another one of her powers over there and destroys the whole plan?”. Emperor Damien asked again and Kai sighed.

“You’ve never been this worried before. If you never wanted her to pass in the first place you shouldn’t have agreed training her”. Kai said and the Emperor faced him.

“It’s one thing to sabotage her win, and it’s another to make her look stupid in front of everyone cause she lacks the powers to participate in the contest”. The Emperor said and then faced Jade who was currently jumping happily.

She had shot two arrows at once and both met the target, Kai’s eyes widened also, while Emperor’s gaze only darkened staring at her complete target.

“Anyone but you. Anyone can take the place of an empress, but not you and I’ll see to that”. Emperor Damien’s mumbked beneath his breath, meaning every word that came out of his mouth.
