(NEW YORK.. A month after the battle)

Vera just finish her work, she now manage her own hotel, a gift from Carson after he died. It seems he knew he wouldn’t last long before had that decision.

“Hello friend” Vera muttered as she stared into space. She was in a cafe, a place she seek solace and pray for her daughter’s safety.

“I’m wondering how you’re doing today. Honestly, it’s still a shock to know that you are gone, that you’re not here to tease me, and that kinda hurt” Vera smiled, one that didn’t reach her eyes. “I miss you Carson and, I’m sure sure you haven’t found a cool and smart friend like me” Vera chuckled.

Her face dropped again.

“I wonder if our children are okay. I’m so sorry for being weak not able to help them . But I hope my prayer does” Vera sniffed and took a deep breath. “Maybe you’ve found a stronger friend than me”

An expensive car drove and stopped before the restaurant, catching Vera’s attention through the transparent glass build around the restaurant.

She frowned watching a figure step out. Her long shiny black hair blows behind her as she ran her fingers into it. Her eyes sparkling, her skin radiant and she possess even more beauty.

Vera slowly stood with her eyes widened, her lips fell open and her eyes teared up.

“Amy” She muttered as their gaze met. Amelia lips stretched up to a lovely smile.

Vera rushed out of the restaurant. Tears fell from her eyes, wishing her daughter’s appearance isn’t a dream.

Amelia eyes welled up too as she took a step forward. Both staring at each other as emotions swirled in their gaze.

“Mom” Amelia was the first to break the silence between them.

“My baby” Vera sobbed. Her daughter rushed towards her, wrapping her arms around her.

“Mom” Amelia sobbed tightening her arms around her.

Vera inhaled the scent she had missed so much. Two months without her daughter was terrible for her and she h@ťěd it.

“Oh my God my baby is really here” Vera choked, patting Amelia’s hair.

“I’m so sorry.. I hope you aren’t mad at me” Amelia felt guilty.

“No, you did what you had to do. I would have done this same. That’s why you’re my daughter. I’ve missed you so much Amy” Vera whispered, breaking the hug to stare at her daughter’s face.

Amelia hicipped trying to stop her tears.

“How did it go?” Vera asked and Amelia nodded slowly, which made Vera’s smile brighter.

“Do you wish to see it?” Amelia asked.

“I can?”

“Yes, you just need to close your eyes” Amelia said.

Vera nodded and took a deep breath, shutting her eyes close. She felt a sudden wind hitting her skin.

When she opened her eyes, she gasped at the sight before her. Grand, enormous and beautiful.

“This is Shadowbrook. A city where every kind respect another” Amelia said to her mother.

After the battle was won. All head bowed to Logan. He had defeated what they thought it was impossible.

Most of the Lord’s were afraid of daring Darko, that was why they had no choice but to follow his lead.

But not anymore, they now have the right to voice out their ideas and opinions. Even some of them revealed the fact that they had fallen in love with a human. A love which is no longer forbidden.

Logan changed the rules, all creatures should be respected and those who are not pleased by it should be punished.

The castle was rebuilt. All sacred art that symbolized terror was removed.

Logan knew it won’t be easy to change a world that had been like this for many centuries, but that was the reason he was born. He was born to changed that fact.

He remembered the fact that his mother died giving birth to him so he asked Nikita, his new Duke to find solution to it.

Nikita capability was beyond measure. She came up with a solution. If humans are to bare offsprings for vampires, they’ll have to go through some certain medical routine until the day of their labour or… Become one of them before delivering.

After careful arrangements of meal, Logan, clad in exquisite garmentm eyes scan the food on the large table, trying to make sure there is no mistake.

He had sent off the maids to assure this himself.

Amelia is bringing her mother. Though, he had met her many times but it feels different this time around. He is making Amelia is wife soon, which is big step.

The last time he saw Vera was the day Amelia was hurt by him.

“Oh the vegetables” He panicked but spot it at the corner and sighed. “There it is”

He scan the table again.

“What if the soup taste bad?” He quickly pulled up his sleeve and took a spoon. “Hmm.. good”

He stopped and think again.

“Ah the chair, is it stable. I can’t bare it if mother in law fall and get hurt” He checked the chairs too and sighed. It’s perfect.

“Ah the table.. oh” He sighed he threw his head backwards. “Will she resent me for the pain I had caused her daughter?” He mumbled.

“I guess you should ask her yourself” Amelia’s voice sounded behind and Logan’s head snapped behind him.

His eyes settled on Vera and he forgot how to use his mouth. It opened and closed without a word falling out.

Vera approached him with a blank gaze and did the last thing he had expected. She hugged him.

Logan froze.

“Thank you Logan. For being able to win” She whispered and Logan hugged her back. While Amelia stand behind the with smile.

At night Amelia laid on Logan’s chest as they both listen to each other’s heartbeat.

“I actually thought she would hit my head for troubling you or something” Logan muttered.

“My mother doesn’t resent you. You should stop blaming yourself, Dragon” That’s the nickname Amelia calls him to ease his mood.

“But it is true. It’s is because of me you…”

Amelia shut him up with a kiss. “I told you to stop blaming yourself. Whether or not, what happened will surely happened. It’s our fate that our desire will be forbidden but we won. We won my love”

Logan lips slowly curved up to a devilish smirk.

“Little witch”

“Hmm”

“You just woke the little dude up” He whispered and Amelia chuckled when he hovered of her, kissing her lips. She Mõ@ɲed against her mouth and welcomed his tongue that slipped into her mouth.

Soon, Logan was slamming himself into her as their Mõ@ɲs filled the air.

Toby walked into a large luxurious room, furnished with elegant equipment. Nikita stopped her writing and smile at him.

He cleared his throat and went to sit before her.

“Miss. Duke, I come before you” He said and they both stared at each other before bursting into a loud laughter.

“Sounds weird” Toby nodded and Nikita laughed harder.

“I h@ťě the name but I love the job” Nikita smiled and continue her work.

“Aren’t you upset about your father?” Toby asked and Nikita stopped writing.

Logan declared a punishment to her father to face what he had face. The same experiment that Xander had put him through. And if he survive, he’ll let him go. Of course, Xander didn’t.. he died after a week.

“He is only paying for his sins. I’m fine” Nikita said without skipping a heartbeat. She wanted to asked about Naomi too but couldn’t bring herself to say it.

She badly hope one day Toby will find a love that will last for him. Obviously, it seems it wasn’t her and she is cool with it.

“Hey, how about you be my assistant? There are so many things to do and I feel like I’ll get old if I continue. Assistant Duke Toby” Nikita said and Toby chuckled.

“Uhmm.. I am leaving. I’m going back to New York to stay with my mother and start a new life after rounding up college” Toby announced and Nikita’s face dropped for a moment. “Don’t worry, I’ll come visit”

With her smile returning she answered. “Bring me a lot of presents”

Kali decided to live among the humans. She feels home in New York than Shadowbrook. She even decided to finish her college she had started.

Her couple life with Jasper was know at every corner of the school.

“Hey” A goon slap a document on Jasper’s face trying to bully him. “Do the assignment jerk”

“Do you wish to die?” Jasper shot a glare at him.

“Huh” The goon burst into laughter and made to punch Jasper but a hand held it. He found Kali glaring at him.

“How come other himmas won’t leave my boyfriend alone? Is it because he is too handsome?” Kali broke his arm and his scream rented the place. Jasper’s eyes widened.

Kali pushed the goon and he fell onto the floor.

“Oh my, I told you not to…” Jasper made to scold her but Kali held him and began to pull him with her.

“We need to call the ambu…” He made to speak again but Kali shut him up with a kiss. Jasper forgot his word.

“I love you” She said and Jasper grin.

“To hell with him, he can just die” Jasper muttered and kissed her back.

“Let’s go and eat” he suggested.

“Yay!” Kali exclaimed cutely and they bought left.

Charlotte just finish with her assignments at the cafe. She closed her books and rushed to leave the cafe but bumped onto a guy.

Her breath stopped seeing his face. He is f-__-king hot!

“Here, you dropped this” He said handing over her book to her. His smile warm and can steal any souls.

“Thanks” Charlotte cheek burned and she rushed out. Taking a deep breath she wondered want happened to her.

**A year later**

“Charlotte!” Amelia yelled downstairs.

“Almost done, I’ll be down in a minute!” Charlotte voice trailed and Amelia sighed. She glanced over her mother, Japser, Kali, Toby, and Jaxon: Charlotte’s boyfriend.

“Babe, we’ll be late for the wedding and Logan is going to ki|| Toby” Jaxon exclaimed.

“Hey” Toby shot him a glare.

“Done!” Charlotte rushed downstairs looking extraordinarily beautiful. Jaxon face turned paled wishing he could kiss her.

“Beautiful” Amelia answered. “Now, hold onto me”

They all hold her and close their eyes and felt the familiar harsh wind.

When they opened they all gasped seeing Logan seated on the couch before them. He was f-__-king hot and handsome making Amelia’s knee weak immediately..

“Who delayed my wife?” He asked but none of them answered and acted oblivion to his question. They all made to leave.

“Toby, it’s you isn’t it?” Logan asked and Toby hiss in anger.

“I would have punch that face of yours if it isn’t your wedding”

Logan stood with a scoff and watch him leave. “He is never going to respect his Lord.. that f-__-king @$$h0le”

A snap of finger came from Amelia. Logan returned his gaze to Amelia.

She was now magically dressed in her wedding gown.

The wedding dress was a stunning, ethereal masterpiece, with soft, shimmering ivory lace, delicate embroidery and beading, a fitted bodice with a sweetheart neckline, and a full, flowing skirt that swept behind her like a cloud, adorned with sparkling sequins and a tiara, exuding understated elegance.

It clad her alluring body frame, matching with her light make up and those jewelries that styled her hair in a unique way.

Logan’s lips parted with disbelief, adoration, love, desire and so many emotions a woman could hope her man would have for her. He stepped closer to her with careful steps.

“Little witch. Just how hard do you make me fall in love with you every single day?”

Amelia chuckled. “I should be asking you that, Dragon”

Logan lean to kiss her..

“Our wedding” Amelia reminded and Logan took a deep breath. She knew if those lips met with hers, there’s no stopping. He’ll take her to bed and probably forget what today is.

“Right, I’m afraid you won’t be able to walk tomorrow. I’m apologizing in advance” Logan said and Amelia laughed.

“Is that a dare”

Just like that, Amelia found herself walking down the aisle with her eyes fixated on Logan. The man who is becoming her husband.

Every Lord was invited, humans and some long lost witches were there; the ones who had been hiding for centuries.

Logan was able to bring harmony even when everyone thought it was impossible.

When she reached him, they stared at each other with so much affection that made the guest wished for a soulmate..

Vera wiped her tears. She wished Carson is here to witness this. Maybe, his spirit is watching and smile right now.

They were joined and Logan didn’t wait to be asked to kiss his bride.

He held her waist and claimed her tempting lips. Applaud and cheers from the guest erupted the grand hall.

Amelia threw the flower behind her and threw her arms around his neck kissing his lips deeper.

The flower landed with Charlotte. Her face burned as she slowly looked at Jaxon who was also staring at her.

He kissed her cheek and her it burned even harder.

“Such a cutie”

Kali faced Jasper. “Let’s get married”

Jasper choked on his saliva. “What?”

Toby who was watching shake his head. Nikita walked to sit beside him.

“@$$h0le, you didn’t give me a call” she snapped.

“I thought not to disturb you” Toby said and Nikita slammed her hand on his chest. “Argh, fine, I’m sorry”

Toby chuckled and sighed remembering Naomi. He wondered if she would like the way things her right now. Of course she would.

Kali also remember her mother. “Don’t worry mother, things are now fine” she sniffed.

Hearing this, Jasper stopped clapping and drew her close for a hug which calm her down.

Vespera pouted around the corner and joined the guest clapping. After recieving a heartbreak from Logan, she had married a Lord that obviously took care of her.

“They look good together after all” she smiled and turned to leave.

The name Darko was never heard again. His name was forbidden and that will bring shame to him wherever he is.

“Wooo!” Vera screamed happily as she stood along the guest, she couldn’t contain it. It was so lovely, her tears stream down freely on her cheek.

Logan smile as he broke the kiss.

“Hey Little witch, or should I say my wife” he whispered.

Amelia shook her head with a beautiful smile. “I like the second better”

“Little witch”

He let out a chuckled. “You’ve woke someone up”

Amelia blushed hard, her eyes tearing up in happiness. “naughty”

Logan returned his lips on her, gently kissing her with love and tenderness.

They meant the world for each other.

That was why they never give you.

The world yelled at them. ‘Forbbiden Desire’

But they changed that fact and spit on the world’s face. Their love was challenging, but they never gave up on each other.

“I love you” They both whispered.

As their days pass by, their love never stop to bloosom. The bore children, having the family the dream of.
