Kiss wiped his tears as soon as he saw the doctor he then walked towards him.

“Doctor?” He called, and the doctor looked at him.

“How’s she?” Kiss asked.

“Thank goodness you rushed her in on time the cut didn’t enter deep into her, so she’s fine.” The doctor said, and Kiss breathed out a sigh of relief.

“Can I go and see her now?” Kiss asked, and the doctor nodded.

Newton was about to follow Kiss when Joanna pulled him back

“Let him be, since he claims they are dating, just give them a little time.” Joanna said, and Newton pulled her into a hug.

“Did you know how I felt when I heard that Piper was being stabbed? She’s the only family I have left besides Leo and Dorothy it was so heartbroken.” Newton hiccups.

“She’s fine, now.” Joanna muttered, patting him.

Kiss entered, and he saw Piper’s eyes were closed, and he didn’t know when a tear escaped his eyes.

He slowly walked up to her and placed a light kiss on her forehead, where she was stabbed had been plastered already.

Piper suddenly opened her eyes they were tears in her eyes.

“Kiss.” She called, and he wiped his tears to face her.

“I’m here for you, cutie doll.”He muttered, and she smiled.

“I thought I was not going to see you again, I thought…..” She said, as tears rolled down her eyes

Kiss kissed the tears away.

“Don’t say that, cutie doll you’re here with me. I knew you were gonna come back for me I knew I had faith in you.” Kiss said, and Piper made to stand up, but the pain struck her hard, and she fell back to the bed.

“Where’s my brother?” Piper asked, and Kiss immediately remembered everything that transpired between them. He’s outside. Kiss muttered.

“Did you tell him about us?” She asked.

“I handled it already, but he looks quite annoyed with you.”Kiss said, and Piper blinked.

“Did you see the person who stabbed you?” Kiss suddenly asked, and Piper suddenly remembered.

That hand she could remember it… It was Nelly’s hand… She could feel the hand… The chemical Nelly poured on her skin really damaged her, and the swollen boils and peels… It was surely Nelly.

“I didn’t see the person, but I’m suspecting someone.”Piper muttered.

“Who?” Kiss asked.

SAME NIGHT, NELLY APARTMENT**

She entered her house, removed the mask, and threw it on the couch.

She smirked and went to her wardrobe to get the ointment she usually applied to her hand and face. She looked at her hands and scoffed.

“By now, it was supposed to be you in this condition, but I’m the one in it… The whole school thought I was a changed person, including Piper – what a fool! They didn’t know I was just biding my time, waiting for the perfect moment to execute my plan… Humans are so gullible.” She laughed maniacally.

“Piper, I did say that if I couldn’t have Kiss, no one would. But you didn’t listen you chose to accept him as your boyfriend. But unfortunately, he can’t be your boyfriend anymore… Rest in peace, dear Piper. Now, let’s see how you’re going to attend prom night with him. Kiss will have no choice but to ask me to be his prom queen… Nelly, ain’t I good?” she said, about to apply the ointment when someone grabbed it and splashed it on her face.

Then, a welcoming slap landed on her – three consecutive ones. She looked up to see Kiss standing in front of her.

“And you think trying to hurt her would make me run back to you, huh? How can you be this cheap and heartless, wanting to take your fellow human’s life?” Kiss asked.

“I don’t know what you’re saying,” Nelly shouted.

“Oh, cut that crap,” he snapped.

“You tried to hurt Piper you stabbed her, and you aren’t even feeling any remorse. People like you deserve to be in jail.” Kiss shouted.

“Yeah, I don’t feel remorse. I used to be Piper’s friend, but she stole you away from me.” Nelly shouted back at him.

“How? Remember, I was never yours to begin with.” Kiss said.

“I used to love you, but you wouldn’t even notice me all you see is Piper, Piper, and Piper, and I’m f-__-king tired. What do you see in her, huh? You turned me into what I am today… I turned into a devil because you didn’t want to reciprocate my love. What could I have done? My heart chose you, but…”

“But my heart chose her from the very beginning, Nelly. I was never attracted to you, not even for a single bit. I never loved you.” Kiss cut her off.

“Then you can reciprocate my love… Piper is dead already, so you can love me, huh? I promise you’ll forget about her.” Nelly said, trying to kiss him.

Kiss pushed her away.

“For your f-__-king information, Piper is not dead.” Kiss shouted.

“What?” she asked.

“You heard me right she’s not dead, and for what you’ve done, you’re going to be arrested.” Kiss said, and the police entered, handcuffed her, and dragged her away.

“No, no, no, Kiss, you can’t do this to me you literally can’t… I love you so much… So, please.” Nelly shouted as the police put her in the van and drove off.

Kiss ruffled his hair, looking relieved that the ordeal was over.

NEXT DAY, NEWTON APARTMENT**

Leo and Jarvis got down from the car, and Jarvis looked at Leo, who gave her a smile in return.

“Are you sure about this?” Jarvis asked, and Leo nodded.

“I’m sure you can do this, you need to.”

“I have never been so nervous before in my entire life, like this,” Jarvis muttered, and Leo held her hand.

“Does this relieve you a little bit?” Newton asked, and she nodded.

They walked into the mansion, where they met Alison.

“Is Joanna in?” Leo asked, and Alison nodded, then looked at Jarvis and shrugged. Jarvis walked up to her and held her hand.

“I’m sorry for what I did to you weeks back, can you forgive me?” Jarvis asked, and Alison looked at Leo, who nodded.

“I have forgiven you, I don’t joke with Joanna, and you having the same face as Joanna is quite annoying,” Alison replied.

“I’m really sorry,” Jarvis said, and Alison pulled her into a hug.

“I have forgiven you, I hope we can become friends like I and Joanna.”

“Do you want to be my friend?” Jarvis asked.

“That’s if you’re okay with it,” Alison replied, and Jarvis beamed with a smile.

“I’d love to,” Jarvis said, and Alison almost gasped.

“Was this Jarvis or a ghost?” she wondered.

“Really,” she asked, and Jarvis nodded.

“Friends then,” Alison muttered, and Jarvis smiled.

Leo watched with amusement, clearly written on his face.

Joanna got down from the stairs, only to see Alison and Jarvis hugging each other. She walked closer to them and touched Alison’s forehead.

“Do you have a fever, you and Jarvis, together?” Joanna asked.

“She’s now my friend,” Alison said, and Joanna almost laughed.

“You’re not serious, are you?” Joanna asked

Jarvis, who let go of Alison and walked to Joanna.

“Sis,” Jarvis called, and Joanna shrugged.

“Are you here to mock me, that I’m pregnant for the wrong person, and I don’t deserve to be pregnant? If yes, then leave.”

“Wait, you’re pregnant?? ” She asked and Joanna nodded.

Jarvis hugged her, and Jarvis was a bit startled.

“I’m going to be an aunt, a f-__-king aunt… Fans come and hear this I’m going to be an aunt,” Jarvis screamed and kept hugging her.

“Is this Jarvis or someone else?” she wondered.

“Is this really my sister?” Joanna asked, and Jarvis nodded.

“Okay, I came to apologize, not to mock you, I’m sorry for everything, I mean everything single thing I have done to you, I’m sorry for taking advantage of you even when I knew you were never at fault for my rape, I’m deeply sorry,” Jarvis said, and Joanna pulled her into a hug.

If only Jarvis knew how much she had been waiting for all this, if only she knew how much she wanted her back, if only she knew how much she had been waiting for her apologies.

“I’m also sorry, Jarvis I’m sorry… I guess I wasn’t a good sister… If only I hadn’t suggested we go to that club, then nothing would have caused a rift between us I’m also a bad sister, I guess.”Joanna said, as tears ran out from her eyes.

“I should be the one apologizing, but you stole the line again,” Jarvis muttered, with tears also in her eyes.

“I’m sorry,” Joanna muttered.

“I’m also sorry,” Jarvis muttered, and the two sisters yet again hugged each other in a warm embrace, replacing all their lost moments away from each other. They were crying out their eyes.

Leo and Alison just watched the emotional reunion between the two identical sisters.

Newton also entered the mansion he was just returning from work.

“Okay, what’s going on here?” Newton asked, cursing Joanna and Jarvis to break the hug.

“Two sisters’ reunion,” Leo said and climbed on his back.

“Hey, would you get down?” Newton asked.

“Why didn’t you tell me that Joanna is pregnant and that you’re going to be a father?” Leo asked.

“Who’s going to be a father?” Jimmy said, as he stepped into the mansion with Angel. He actually came to introduce Angel to Newton.

“Good twosome,” Newton rolled his eyes.

“Who’s going to be a father?” Jimmy asked again.

“Who do you expect if not Newton? His wife is pregnant,” Leo said, and Joanna just chuckled.

Angel walked to her and pulled her into a hug.

“Congratulations,” Angel said with a smile.

“Thanks,” Joanna said.

“Why am I seeing two faces?” Angel asked.

“Actually, she’s my sister Jarvis,” Joanna said, and Angel gasped.

“Wow, identical,” she beamed.

“Yeah,” Joanna said and placed a soft kiss on Joanna’s cheeks

“Okay everyone, I came here because I want to introduce you all to my damsel,” Jimmy muttered.

“Who, who stole this dummy heart?” Newton asked, and Jimmy walked towards her and grabbed her waist. Angel blushed.

“She’s my pretty damsel, who came into my life unexpectedly,” Jimmy said, and Angel smiled.

“Awwn,” Joanna and Jarvis said in unison.

“This calls for celebrations,” Leo muttered, and everyone walked to sit at the dining table.

“Let’s toast to this good news,” Leo muttered, and they all clicked their glasses together.

“Cheers.”

EIGHT MONTH LATER, CITY HOSPITAL*

The sky shook dangerously, the wind blew heavily, trees and everything shook because of the heavy rain that was about to fall.

The clouds clapped together, and the rain started pouring down.

Inside the ward, Joanna was panting heavily, she was in labor, tears filled her eyes as she looked at Newton, who was beside her. He kissed her tears away.

“You’re gonna be fine, you can do this,” Newton gave her a word of encouragement.

“Please hold my hand,” Joanna said, and he held her hand.

“Just know I love you, Joanna. I have always,” Newton said, as the doctor asked her to push.

“One, two, three, push!” the doctor screamed, and Joanna pushed. Tears slowly escaped her eyes she was sweating profusely.

“You’re getting there, you just have to push one more time, and then we’re done,” the nurse said. Joanna looked at Newton her loud panting increased.

“I’m here for you, trust me when I say I cherish every f-__-king moment with you. And the day I found out you were pregnant, that was the happiest day of my life,” Newton said, and she held his hand tighter and pushed.

The baby’s head popped out, and the doctor smiled.

“Congratulations, you did it!” the doctor said, and Newton smiled.

The doctor handed the tiny little creature to him, and tears escaped his eyes… They were tears of joy.

Joanna opened her eyes, and the first thing her eyes caught was her baby… a baby boy.

She looked at her family they were three now… Her, Newton, and their baby joy. She prayed that no evil eyes would cast themselves on her family, which she was going to create.

Years have passed, and Piper and Kiss are now college students.

Kiss is in his final year (400 level) while Piper is in her second year (200l) at Harvard University.

After many years, Newton finally agreed to let Kiss and Piper date, but warned Kiss not to hurt his sister or face the consequences.

Nelly was recently released from jail and is trying to get accepted into college, but it’s proving difficult.

Angel and Jimmy relocated to Paris, Angel’s dream country, and got married with a beautiful ceremony. They have a four-year-old daughter and are living happily.

Dorothy opened her own boutique and is doing well, having learned to let go of hatred and jealousy.

Leo confessed his love to Jarvis, and they have been dating for three years, preparing for marriage.

“Hey big bro, would you get your @zz over here?” Moanna called as she ran upstairs to his room.

She’s Joanna’s second child and first daughter. She opened the door to see her brother Nikki reading a novel.

“Oh my, what’s the title of the novel?” Moanna jumped on the bed and asked.

“Why, thought you don’t like novels, you said it bores you?” Nikki said, and Moanna smacked his head.

“Did you just smack my head? Have you forgotten I’m the senior here?” Nikki asked.

“I know, dummy anyway, Mom sent for us downstairs,” Moanna said, and before Nikki knew it, she had run down the stairs, with him following.

“Mom, help me!” Moanna ran and hid behind Joanna’s back.

“Mom, did you see that little brat?” Nikki asked Joanna.

“What did she do this time?” Joanna asked.

“Can you believe she smacked my head? She’s always acting as if she’s the senior then I need to bring her ego down… I need to make her realize that I’m the senior,” Nikki said.

“I would have been the senior, but you stole that from me,” Moanna pointed out, sticking out her tongue.

“How?” Nikki asked.

“Because you and nature cheated me,” Moanna said.

Joanna stared at both of them, knowing that if she didn’t stop them, they would continue arguing like cats and dogs.

“Okay, enough of your arguments,” Joanna said, placing Moanna on top of the dining chair while Nikki sat on it.

“Where’s Dad, Mom?” Moanna asked.

“He called to tell me he’s going to be late,” Joanna muttered, and the two of them sighed. She served them dinner, and they began eating…

Joanna closed her laptop, having decided to try something new. As a writer, she was now busy plotting the story of her life, and she had chosen to title it “Sweet Pains”.

It was a story of pains from the very beginning, and she glanced back to the time Newton found out she wasn’t Jarvis and how he treated her badly. But those pains had turned to love in a way she never expected.

The door squeaked, and Newton stepped out of the bathroom, having returned moments earlier.

“Four eyes,” he called, and Joanna walked over to him and hugged him.

“You can never get tired of calling me that name, can you?” she asked.

“Never, the name is now a part of me.” Newton muttered,

They walked to the bed, and Joanna lay on top of him.

“Everything that happens between us, it was worth it – being with you, loving you – it was all worth it,” Newton muttered.

“Describe us in one word,” Joanna said.

“FOREVER,” Newton replied, and truly, their love lasted till forever.

It proved that love can overcome every pain and trial if only you’re ready to fight for it.
