“Can you just leave?” she said, but he laughed, then he kissed her.

“It doesn’t matter… Okay, let’s take you to the bathroom,” Newton said, and Joanna used her palm to cover her face.

“What do you mean by that?” Joanna asked.

“I’m going to be bathing you, Four Eyes,” he said.

“Hell no,” Joanna said, but before she could blink, Newton lifted her up in a bridal style.

She gasped when the duvet fell off her body her naked body came into view.

“Drop me down, Newton… My body is…” she said.

“Is it something I saw yesterday?” he said, and yet again, she palmed her face.

“Good,” Jarvis said and sat down on the chair.

“Offer me a glass of juice at least. We’re still sisters, not enemies,” Jarvis said, and Joanna went to the kitchen to bring a glass of juice.

“Here,” Joanna said, and Jarvis collected the juice before sipping it.

“You offered me something, and I’m going to offer you something in return,” Jarvis said.

“What?” Joanna asked.

“You know you’d do anything for me, like you used to say in our childhood days. You promised me, Jojo,” Jarvis said.

“I know, but can you just tell me what it is?” Joanna asked, and Jarvis brought out papers from a black bag and handed them to her.

“What’s this?” Joanna asked.

“Just scroll through it,” Jarvis said, and Joanna looked at the paper.

“Divorce papers?” Joanna asked, and Jarvis smirked.

“I gave you Newton; why don’t you give him back to me?” Jarvis said.

“Impossible. Yeah, I agree that you gave Newton to me, but I didn’t agree to that at first, right? I told you about the predicament, but you said it’s none of your business, and now you’re back for what exactly? And you think I will give him back to you so foolishly as what?” Joanna asked.

“Because he belongs to me. And don’t you dare forget I am in all this because of you. I turned into a wh-_-re still because of you, a f-__-king Ɓîtçh. I sleep with men because of you. All the things that happened to me five years ago were because of you, so you would simply do what I asked you to do,” Jarvis shot back.

“Sign those papers, Joanna, else you would see how I will turn your life into a ruin, just like what you did to me five years ago,” Jarvis added.

Joanna picked up the divorce papers and stared at Jarvis, then back at the paper.

Tears slowly escaped her eyes.
