CHAPTER 22&23

°°BELLA°°

“Yes, she’s my wife… Yolanda Miguel Gonzàlez.” He said, wrapping his hands around her waist, possessively.

Yolanda raised at her head to look at him, he was glaring daggers at Fernando who was smirking.

“That’s nice, I must say, you have a very beautiful wife.” He complimented, with a smirk.

“Quit the pretence Fernando, I know you too well… What are you doing here??” He asked in a husky voice.

“Like you own this place?? I don’t get, don’t I have the right to be here??” He smirked.

“Stay away from me! From us! Stay away!! Away!!” He warned sternly, not smiling at all. He removed his hands from her waist and interlocked hands with her, then they both walked back into the room.

Fernando smiled wryly before going into his room which was opposite theirs.

Immediately they both got into the room, Yolanda took her hand off his. She went to her bed and picked the paper on it then she came back and handed it to him.

“Read it.” She said in a more commanding tone.

Miguel looked at the paper on his hand, on the paper was boldly written; MY RULES.

‘Seriously? Her rules??’ he turned to look at Yolanda who was already seated on the bed.

“I don’t understand this.” He said showing her the paper.

“For us to live peacefully, those are the rules guiding us.” She said, authoritatively.

‘Excuse me?’ Miguel uttered inwardly before going through the paper, reading aloud.

“RULE NO.1 – DO NOT BY MISTAKE OR INTENTIONALLY TOUCH ME IN ANYWAY. EITHER BY HOLDING MY HANDS OR MY WAIST, IT’S PROHIBITED.” He read aloud.

“What you did few minutes ago shouldn’t repeat itself.” She said.

“But you’re my wife.” He complained.

“We’re only couples in a paper not reality, so get down from your high dreams.”

“Really?? Are you being serious right now.” He asked.

“I’ve never been more serious than this.” She replied, straightforwardly.

He sighed before continuing.

“RULE NO.2 – DO NOT REFER ME AS YOUR WIFE, EITHER IN PUBLIC OR ALONE.”

“This rule…” He kept shut immediately he saw her unfriendly look. He returned his gaze to the paper in his hand.

“RULE NO.3 – NO K!SSING OR SEXING!!”

“Okay… This rules are rigid, I’m your husband for crying out loud.” He complained.

“If you’re horny, you can always get yourself a b!tch, I’m not stopping you from doing that.” She rolled her eyes.

He widened his eyes. “You’re really

“AND RULE NO.4 SAYS DO NOT INTERFERE IN MY AFFAIRS.” That was the last rule.

“What… This??”

“That’s all for now, if there’s any other thing I might need to add, I won’t hesitate to let you know… For now we go with this rules.” She said.

“I don’t think,,, no I can’t cope with this rules.” He said truthfully.

“Then let’s get divorced.” She suggested.

‘Okay, this is it, he’s definitely losing this bet.’ That rung on his head.

The doorbell rang and Yolanda stood up to open the door.

The hotel attendant came into view with a trolley which had varieties of food on it.

“Good afternoon ma’am.” She greeted and Yolanda nodded slowly.

“Your food.” She said and Yolanda moved out of the way and the girl rolled in the trolley.

“Good afternoon.” She greeted Miguel before leaving the room after dropping the trolley.

Yolanda closed the door before walking back to the trolley, she took the food in the trolley and started eating, ignoring Miguel completely.

Is this girl really serious??

“Since you have your rules, I can also have mine right??” He smirked.

“If you wish.” His smirk grew wider.

“Okay.”

EVENING**

Yolanda decides to take a stroll around the island, since she has nothing to do.

She was touring the island, enjoying the sight of it… The fresh breeze hitting her at intervals. She passed the beach and could see couples smooching and making out publicly.

‘Gross!’ she squeezed her face in disgust before walking away from there.

She was still walking when she spotted a white cat from a far end, opposite her, if she kept walking, she was gonna meet with it.

Her blood froze. ‘A cat? Oh no.’ She stylishly turned around and started walking away but it seemed the cat had already spotted her and it found likeness for her as it started running towards her.

She wasn’t even much of a fast runner. She looked back to see it running towards her. “oh no!” She mumbled, she needed no one to tell her before she took to her heels running as fast as she could with the cat chasing after her.

“God please save me! I hate cats?!!” She cried as she ran. She bumped into someone and they both fell on the floor.

She hid her face on his chest. “Save me!! Save from that cat, please!!!” She yelled breathlessly, clutching unto him tightly.

The cat got to them and climbed on her body. “Ahhh!!! Get away!! Help me!!” She cried, she was already dying in fright.

Miguel chuckled. She was weighing him down, there’s no way he could get up.

“Please!!” She cried, shifting on him.

“Oh my Nessa! Here you are!!” A feminine voice interrupted. The girl was P@ŋting slowly, she took the cat in her arms, rubbing it’s fur.

“You’re very stubborn… I’m sorry for the inconvenience she must have caused you both.” She apologized, looking down at the couples on the floor.

Yolanda slowly opened her eyes. “Let me help you up.” She volunteered stretching out her hand.

Yolanda rolled her eyes before standing up. “Not needed.” She said, moving back, touching her racing heart. That freaking thing scared the Fůçƙ outta her.

Miguel got up as well. “I’m sorry for the inconvenience.” She apologized again.

“It’s alright it’s not your fault. Meanwhile, I love your cat… It’s cute.” He complimented and she smiled out her dimple.

“Thanks… Hear that Nessa, he says you’re cute.” She said to cat and it meowed.

Miguel patted her head. “You are??” He asked…

“Bella, I’m an American but I’m currently in Hawaii for tourism.” She introduced.

“Wow.”

“And you are??”

“Miguel,,, but you can call me Mimi.” He winked and she laughed.

“Mimi?? Isn’t that a girl’s name??” She inquired.

“I don’t mind.”

“Okay Mimi, if you say so… Errmm, who’s she??” She asked pointing at Yolanda who was already frowning as she watched them have a heartfelt conversation, they were laughing. For some reason she felt like going to pull him away from her.

She could hear what they were saying clearly.

“Oh, she??… She’s my sister.”
