“Welcome back dad, welcome mom” Hazel hugged her parents briefly immediately they came back from work.
“How was your day sweetheart?” Mrs Hampton asked.
“Not fine mom,a jerk spoilt my mood today” She replied.
“Sorry about that” Mrs Hampton said, almost entering her room.
“We’ll be back for dinner sweetie”She Hampton placed a kiss on her forehead before leaving.
Hazel sighed as she sat on the couch.
“Today is stressful” She muttered.
She took her phone, logging in to her TikTok account as she started making videos.
“I’m d@mn cute” She laughed and a maid coughed.
“Why did you cough? Ain’t I beautiful?” She pouted childishly.
“You’re beautiful my lady” The maid said as smiles beamed on her face.
“Ma’am your dinner is ready” A maid said and she replied with a nod.
Hazel went to the dinning and started eating her meal.
“You’re eating already” Mr Hampton said as he entered the dinning with his wife.
“Yes dad” Hazel replied sweetly.
Mr&Mrs Hampton sat on the dinning chair as they began eating their food.
“Sweetheart, it’s getting late” Mrs Hampton said and she stared at her confusedly.
“What do you mean mom?” She asked.
“It’s getting late,you need to go to Lake High School” She said and Hazel sighed.
“Actually I went to aunt Sofia’s stores earlier today and she told me the same thing, I’ll think about it mom” She said and her mom sighed.
“Better, you’re the best daughter ever” Mr Hampton said and Hazel smiled.

Blaze finished working for the day and he became happy.
He’s actually collecting his salary today that’s why he was happy.
He’s a student of Silver High School and he have to do his part-time jobs before heading home once the school premises closes.
He rinse his hands as he approached his boss.
“Good evening sir” He greeted respectfully.
“How are you Blaze?” The boss asked.
“I’m fine sir,I’m here to collect my salary” He said and the mood of the boss changed immediately.
“Because you want to collect your salary that’s why you’re here huh! Get out of my sight,I don’t have anything money to give you!” He yelled and Blaze stared at him shockingly.
He was just staring at his boss, trying his possible best not to make the tears roll down his cheeks.
“Get out of my sight!!” He yelled again making Blaze to flinch, he left there with teary eyes.
Blaze began heading home in tears.
Immediately he arrived the house,he met Jayden dancing happily in the sitting room with Rachel.
Immediately Jayden saw him,he didn’t notice the tears on Blaze face and he hugged him tightly.
“Blaze guess what? I passed the exam I wrote today and I’m resuming tomorrow” Jayden jubulated and Blaze faked a smile.
Rachel noticed Blaze mood and she moved closer to him.
“Why’s your eyes red? Did you cry?” Rachel asked and Blaze sniffed his tears.
“What’s wrong with you Blaze?” Jayden asked.
“My boss refused to pay me my salary” He replied and Jayden and his mom sighed.
“When are we ever going to have money” Jayden said frustratedly.
“Where’s the location? I want to teach that boss a lesson” Jayden said, feeling like marching the boss head.
“Big bro, leave him, he’ll regret it” Blaze muttered.
“So we’re going to stay in hunger,I didn’t even eat in the afternoon” Jayden sighed sadly.
“Maybe I should work as a cleaner in Blaze school” Rachel said and their eyes widened.
“No mom, don’t try to work, you’re not healed completely yet” Blaze disagreed.
“I wish to see myself in a big company and I’ll have many workers I’ll be paying” Jayden muttered dreamily.

Jayden finished packing his luggages as he was set to go to school.
He started heading to the sitting room,he met Blaze,ready to go to school as well.
“Good morning big bro” He greeted.
“You’re looking good, where’s mom?” He asked.
“She’s still sleeping” Blaze replied.
“What are we having as breakfast?” He asked.
“Yam sauce” Blaze replied and Jayden smiled.
“I’m sensing something” Blaze sniffed the air.
“Your breakfast is ready!” They heard their mom’s voice and they stared at themselves.
“I thought you said she was sleeping” Jayden said.
“I was actually joking” Blaze replied.

Immediately they were done eating, Jayden smiled at his mom.
“I going to miss you” He said, hugging his mom.
“Me too,you have to stay safe,stay away from troubles okay?” Rachel said and he nodded.
“I’ll miss you big bro” Blaze hugged him.
“It’s time,I have to start going” Jayden said and Rachel nearly cried.
Can she really cope in his absence?
She’s surely going to miss him.
“Blaze take care of mom” Jayden said and Blaze nodded.
“Mom don’t cry, I’m here for you” Blaze said and his mom nodded.
Jayden sighed as he waved his hands to them, Rachel was just staring at him till he was outta sight.

Jayden had been given his school uniform and he was also informed of where his room is.
He actually dropped his luggages there.
Jayden backed his bag, heading to his classroom, lecture started already.
He entered the class and all eyes were on him that he started becoming nervous.
“Good morning sir” He greeted the lecturer and he nodded.
“Introduce yourself to the class” The mathematics lecturer said and he sighed.
“Good morning class,I’m Jayden Maxwell but you can call me Jay as short form,as you all know, I’m a new student now and I hope we all get along by being friendly,thank you!” He introduced, bowing his head when he said the last part.

“Cease the noise!!” The lecturer shouted and everywhere went silent like a graveyard.
“You can have your seat, there’s an empty locker beside Lexi’s locker” The lecturer said and Jayden sighed.
He saw Lexi staring at him,he sat down on his locker and started writing with his writing materials.
“When talking about quadratic equation,you can use the general formula,Lexi please stand up and tell me the general formula” The lecturer said and all eyes stared at him.
Lexi stood up and started thinking of the answer.
“Sir did you mean the Almighty formula?” Lexi asked and the lecturer nodded.
“I don’t know it” Immediately he said that, Jayden shook his head.
“Luna help him out” The lecturer said.
“I don’t know also” She replied.
“Jayden” The lecturer said and Jayden stood confidently.
“X=-b+- √b²-4ac÷2a” He said.
“Clap for Jay!” The lecturer said and the students clapped for him.
Lexi smirked at Jayden.

“Sit” The lecturer said and he sat down.
The lecturer continue to explain the topic and he tried his best to make the students understand.
He left the class when he was done and the class became noisy immediately.
“You are gone” Lexi thr_@tened Jayden by whispering in his ear.
Nevertheless, Jayden stood from his locker, heading to Richard’s locker.
“Good morning” They both greeted themselves, shaking hands afterwards.
“You’re so intelligent,I can testify” Richard said and he chuckled.
“Thanks, so how many is your percentage?” Jayden asked.
“89 and you?” Richard replied and asked.
“94” Jayden replied.
“Wow! I wish to be like you” Richard said childishly and Jayden laughed.
“Hello everyone!” Lexi shouted, bringing the students attention.
“I’m here to tell you guys the poorest breed here and it’s not other person but Jayden Maxwell” Lexi smirked.

All eyes were on Jayden as he was almost in tears.
The students started saying h@ťěful words to him and Jayden kept on wondering why they were insulting him.
Is it a crime to be poor?
“Don’t be confused,we h@ťě people from poor breed” A guy (Aaron) said to Jayden.

The students kept throwing h@ťěful words at Jayden and he wanted to fight Lexi but he remembered his mom words.

Jayden left Richard’s locker and sat on his locker, burying his head on the locker.

“How may I help you?” Mr Ryan asked a woman who came with a lady.
“Is it not your stupid son! He had the guts to impregnate my daughter,huh!” The woman shouted and Mr Ryan sighed.
“I’m sorry about that” Mr Ryan said and the woman almost slapped him.
“Will sorry abort the bastard child in her womb?” She asked.
“Okay no problem, take this to settle your child” Mr Ryan gave her some amount of money and she collected the money.
“Thank you” The woman appreciated, almost going but Mr Ryan voice stopped her.
“So you can be calm? Indeed money is a spirit” Mr Ryan giggled while she was staring at him.
“You can go” He said and the woman left the office with her daughter.

“Senior Lexi, your dad seek to see you” A junior student said to Lexi.
They were actually in class but there’s no lecturer in the class for that moment.
“Tell him to get the f-__-k outta my life” Lexi said.
The junior student was about talking but he had a rethink, he’s a junior so he can’t tell his senior what to do.
“What did he said?” James (Lexi friend) asked.
“He said that my jerky dad is calling me” Lexi hissed and James sighed
“Why don’t you wanna go?” He asked.
“Cos he’ll start giving me stupid advises” Lexi said.
“I will urge you to go and see him” James said.
“If he gives me any advice,I swear, I’ll bury you alive” Lexi said.
His eye came to contact with Jayden and he smirked before leaving the class.
Lexi entered his sat office and he sat on the chair while staring at his dad, feeling less concerned.
“Lexington what’s wrong with you!” His dad sighed.
“What did I do again old man?” Lexi asked.
“Why will you impregnate someone’s child? It’s unfair” Mr Ryan said.
“Dad it’s none of your business,not like it’s your Ďïčk” Lexi yelled, storming out of the office.
“When will he change, it’s so bad that his mom had died” Mr Ryan said.

It’s break time already.
As usual, Jayden and Richard were on their way to the cafeteria as they were chatting.
“I feel for you bro” Richard said.
“In what?” Jayden asked.
“The way they’re throwing h@ťěful words on you is something to write home about” Richard replied.
“Don’t try to pity me,I h@ťě it when someone pity me, don’t worry I’ll get used to the h@ťěful words” Jayden said and Richard eyes widened.
“You said you’ll get used to it, besides today is your first day of resumption” Richard said
“Don’t worry about that” Jayden said and they finally arrived the cafeteria.
They ordered for the food they want and they began eating silently,they stopped eating when they heard chantings from the students.

The students continued chanting and Jayden concentrated on the food he’s eating.
Lexi smirked as he saw him,he approached Jayden, pouring the pepper he’s holding on his eyes.
“Arghhhhhh!” Jayden screamed in agony as the pepper blinded his eyes temporarily.
