Logan just stared at Maude who was laying on his bed, sleeping soundly. One could tell she was naked under those sheets…
Logan held his head thinking hard. What really happened last night? How did he end up here?
He began connecting the pieces of his memories. From how he suddenly felt dizzy to how he began feeling the sudden need to be with a woman to when he kissed Maude and then…
He quickly shook off those thoughts off his mind and then held his head thinking hard.
How is he gonna explain all this to Kristina? How will she look at him afterwards? What really pushed him to do this?
“Boss…” He heard Maude’s voice.
He turned and stared at her for a while before looking away.
“Leave” He said.
“Boss I’m sorry I…”
“Maude just leave” Logan said tiredly…
Maude slowly stood up while holding the sheets. She picked up her clothes and slowly walked out of the room.
Logan laid back on bed, not knowing what to do again…

“Logan didn’t even text me goodnight nor good morning. That’s weird…” Kimberly said, checking her phone.
She got down the bed and placed her phone aside then walked in her bathroom to brush and bath. Today is the photo$h00t and she has to look her best.
Once she was done with her bath, she picked up her phone and dialed Logan’s number.
He picked up at the second trial…
“Morning babe” Logan said, rather sadly.
“My cute pie, I miss you so much hun” Kristina pouted.
“Me too Kris”
Kristina frowned. Since when did he began calling her by her name.
“Babe, anything wrong?” Kristina asked.
“No,… I’m fine”
“Okay, will call you later. Bye, love you!” Kristina blew him a kiss and hung up. She smiled to herself before disposing off her phone.
She stood up and walked to her wardrobe, looking for something to wear for today…

RICARDO’S MANSION**
“Wake up Minnie, wake up…” Ricardo kissed her forehead.
Minnie slowly opened her eyes and looked at Ricardo with those sleepy eyes of hers.
She rubbed her eyes, slowly waking up fully. Minnie sat up, wondering why Ricardo is waking her up.
“Happy birthday angel…” Ricardo said and placed and wrapped up gift beside her.
Minnie gasped. She completely forgot that today is her birthday,,, well their birthday.
“Omg!! Thanks dad. Love you!!” Minnie hugged him tightly.
“You’re welcome angel” Ricardo hugged her back.
They broke the hug and Minnie quickly open her gift. She gasped when she saw it was a mini laptop.
“Thanks dad” Minnie smiled happily…

“Happy birthday Myles” Valentina smiled and gave Myles his gift.
“I completely forgot! Thanks nanny” Myles pecked her cheek and smiled.
Valentina smiled and ruffled his hair. She really wanted to go back home yesterday but remembering today was their birthday made her stay…
Myles quickly torn the wrapper and opened the box to see it was a whole collection of the ‘Transformers Rescue Bots’ pack.
“This is so cool!” Myles exclaimed but suddenly became sad…
“What’s wrong?” Valentina asked.
“I really wished my birthday gift was to have a mother” Myles said sadly.
Valentina suddenly felt sad for the poor boy. She held his hand and smiled at him.
“I can be your mom if you want?” Valentina said.
“Really? Can I call you mom for today?” Myles asked and Valentina nodded with a smile.
Myles hugged her tightly with a smile on his face.
“Thanks mom” Myles smiled.
Valentina hugged him back with a smile. It feels weird been called ‘Mom’ but she’s doing it to see a smile on Myles face.
“You’re welcome baby” She replied.
They broke the hug and smiled at each other. Valentina ruffled his hair and pinched his nose.
“Just look at you, you look cuter” Valentina gushed.
“I’m 7 so I’m grown up” Myles scoffed.
“You wish you were, look I’m 22 but do I act like a proud fish like you? No” Valentina smirked.
“Well because you’re too…” Myles stopped when he realized what he will say might earn him a glare.
“I’m too…” Valentina ached her brows.
“Nothing Mom” Myles smiled…
Valentina rolled her eyes and chuckled.
“Come, let me bath you up” Valentina said.
“I know how to bath and take care of myself but since you begged me okay” Myles said.
“What? Come here!” Valentina chased after him but he ran into the bathroom. Laughters and giggles were heard in there.
Valentina bath Myles and then began dressing him…
“Here, you’re good to go” Valentina said once she finished combing his hair and styling it.
Myles looked at his reflection on the mirror and smiled.
“Love my new hairstyle, thanks mom” Myles smiled.
“Welcome baby, come let’s join the others” Valentina stood up. Myles held her hand and they walked out of the room.
They met some specialists decorating the house for their birthday party which will take place tonight.
“Wow, our birthday party will be so cool!” Minnie smiled. She was in the living room with Ricardo who was supervising the preparations…
Valentina and Myles joined them. Myles rushed and hugged Ricardo gladly with a smile.
“Wow, you seem to be in a good mood today Myles” Ricardo ruffled his hair.
“Hey dad!! Don’t ruin the hairstyle that mom did for me” Myles pouted.
“Mom?” Ricardo furrowed his brows.
Myles nodded with a smile.
“Nanny agreed to be my mom for today” Myles said.
“Really? I want nanny to be my mom too” Minnie pouted.
“Well I’m all yours for today” Valentina smiled.
Ricardo smiled while staring at Valentina. Is it possible to love someone the way he does for Valentina?
“How about we go out for today? Let’s go have our breakfast at a restaurant like a family” Ricardo said.
“Yay!!” Minnie rejoiced.
“Uhm Sir, you have a visitor” A maid said.
Ricardo furrowed her brows, wondering who could it be. Almost immediately, Logan walked to them.
“Uncle Logan!!” Myles and Minnie rushed to Logan.
Logan hugged them with a smile and brought out two wrapped gifts.
“Happy birthday my twin angels” Logan gave them the gifts with a smile.
“Wow!!” They gushed, going to check out their gifts.
Logan walked to Valentina and Ricardo with his hands in his pocket.
“Morning Valentina, Cardo” Logan said.
“Bro? What’s up? You look kinda pale” Ricardo said.
Logan sighed and looked down tiredly…
“I need to speak with you. Valentina you too, you need to hear this out” Logan said…

LOGAN’S MANSION**
Maude walked out of Logan’s room with the camera. She transferred the video to her phone which she sent to Jade.
Almost immediately, Jade called her…
“Ma’am” Maude said.
“I just saw the video. Nice job…” Jade smiled, sipping her drink slowly.
Maude just sighed sadly.
“And my daughter” Maude asked….
“My men already released her. She’s at your grandma’s house safe and sound… If you dare open your mouth, just buy a coffin for her.” Jade said and hung up.
A drop of tear fell from Maude’s eyes. She is glad that her 3 years old daughter is safe but guilt won’t let her be…
Maude went to a room and removed her maid’s wear. She wrote a letter of resignation and kept it in Logan’s room before leaving the house discreetly….

Jade smiled as she watched the video of Logan and Maude while sipping her drink. This is just perfect!
“If I can’t have you, then no one will” Jade smirked. She looked at the time and it was 10AM.
“Two more hours before I send you this heartbreaking news Kristina” Jade smiled and stood up then walked in her house…

RICARDO’S MANSION**
“What?! You did what??” Ricardo said, slowly getting angry. Logan just told them what happened last night…
“Calm down Rick” Valentina held Ricardo’s hand.
“I don’t even know what pushed me to do it and right now guilt is slowly eating me up. I asked Maude and she said she heard some noises in my room then came to check when I suddenly kissed her and then this happened.” Logan said holding his head.
“You promised me Logan, you promised me that you won’t break her heart. It’s not up to two months and look! Is it that hard to quit your playboy life?!” Ricardo yelled.
“I know and I already quitted it long ago for Kristina. I love her so much that I’m scared to loose her… Try and understand what I feel!” Logan fired back.
“You two should calm down.” Valentina said. She faced Logan.
“Logan I understand what you’re feeling. It must really be hard but something smells fishy… In all my life, I haven’t heard of a man who sleeps with someone without him wanting it” Valentina said.
“I swear it wasn’t my intention to sleep with her. I wasn’t even thinking of such…”
“Once a playboy, always a playboy” Ricardo rolled his eyes…
“Look who’s talking. Should I remind you you were once a playboy too? If you say it that means you’re just playing with Valentina.” Logan spatted.
Ricardo hit his hand hard on the table and stood glaring at Logan.
“Don’t you dare say that about Valentina ever again” Ricardo said
“Don’t you dare say it again too. I love Kristina” Logan glared back at him.
“So this is how it looks like when two best friends fight” Valentina thought.
“Logan, I think you need to talk back to that Maude of a girl…” Valentina said.
Logan nodded and stood up then looked at Ricardo.
“I know I’m at fault here. I came here because you’re my best friend, you’re like a brother to me. I thought you will understand me and help me out,,,looks like I was mistaken” Logan said and left…
Ricardo just sighed and stood up then walked away, leaving Valentina alone on her own…
Valentina pinched her brows and sighed tiredly. Today was supposed to be a happy day…

Kristina walked out of the hotel she was renting and smiled as the cool breeze kissed her face delicately.
She was dressed in a black long sleeve top with a red mini skirt and and black heels, short she looked so hot!
Suddenly her phone began ringing. She smiled when she saw it was Logan calling her…
“Babe” Kristina smiled, walking to her car.
“Just wanted to check up on how your trip is going” Logan smiled.
“Well it’s going great! I was just on my way to the industry” Kristina smiled entering her car.
“Cool, good luck babe” Logan said, walking to the entrance of his house.
“Thanks love” Kristina smiled…
“Babe, we seriously need to discuss” Logan said.
“What’s wrong? Anything bothering you?” Kristina asked.
“Well something’s up but I will prefer we talk once you’re back.” Logan said.
“Okay”
“Kristina I love you very much. Just don’t forget that…no one can take your place in my heart, no one” Logan said and hung up…
Kristina looked at her phone and furrowed her brows. She was slowly getting scared and confused at the same time.
Nevertheless, she kept her phone aside then began her drive at the industry…

Logan kept his phone in his pocket with a sigh. He walked in his house and was welcomed by a maid…
“Go look for Maude, need to discuss with her” Logan said walking upstairs.
“Sir, we can’t find Maude. She’s been absent since you left” The maid said.
Logan stopped on his tracks and turned back…

Valentina opened the door to Ricardo’s room and saw him looking out of the window.
Valentina sighed and closed the door then walked to him. She wrapped her hands round his waist, resting her head on his back.
“Come on Rick, stop sulking… You can’t blame Logan for all this. I’m sure he regrets what he did and him coming here to confide in you was proof enough. Don’t be mad at him instead try to help him out, he needs his bro at this time” Valentina said.
“Come on baby…” Valentina added.
Ricardo sighed and turned to Valentina then cupped her cheek..
“I’ll stop being mad if you call me ‘baby’ again” Ricardo smirked.
Valentina chuckled and looked at him.
“Baby…” Valentina smiled.
Ricardo smiled and kissed her before hugging her to himself, resting his chin on her head.
“I’m not mad at him, was just kinda tensed up when he told me. I’ll fix things with him but for now, he have a party to hold” Ricardo said…
“That’s why I love you” Valentina said and hugged him back.
“Will never get tired of hearing ‘i love you’ from you.” Ricardo said and kissed her hair.
Suddenly the door swung open and Minnie and Myles walked in.
“Dad, when are we…” Minnie gasped when she saw them hugging.
They quickly broke the hug and Ricardo cleared his throat while Valentina nervously tugged her hair behind.
“Dad why were you hugging nanny?” Minnie asked.
“Come closer” Ricardo said…
Myles and Minnie walked closer. Myles just smiled discreetly, he already knew what was going on but played to be a fool. Well he was quite faster in thinking than Minnie…
“So I and your nanny there’s like a connection going on between us…how can I explain that to you” Ricardo began scratching his head.
“You two are getting married?” Minnie asked confusedly…
“No!! That’s not it, though its like that but… Okay in simple terms I love your nanny” Ricardo said.
Minnie furrowed her brows more…
“You love her like a sister?” Minnie asked.
“No!!! That’s not it….(sigh) Valentina please help me out” Ricardo sighed.
“So how can I say it…” Valentina began thinking.
Myles held Minnie’s shoulder making her look at him.
“Sis, do you remember in those stories that our teacher used to tell us? About Cinderella?” Myles asked and Minnie nodded..
“Dad is the prince who loves Cinderella which is nanny” Myles said.
“Oh…really!!” Minnie asked excitedly.
“Can I call you mom forever? Will you come live with us? Will you make my hair?….” Minnie asked.
“Woow!!! Wait a sec… One step at a time hun. You can call me mom, and I’ll be so happy to have a cute daughter like you” Valentina said
“Yay!!!” Minnie hugged Valentina tightly…
“Thanks mommy… Best birthday of my life…” Minnie smiled.
Valentina hugged her back. She suddenly heard Minnie sniff in. Valentina looked at her to see she was in tears…
“Minnie what’s wrong?” Valentina asked worriedly.
“I’m just so happy to have a mom who loves me. Please don’t leave us like her, I promise I’ll be a good girl but don’t leave us…” Minnie said tearfully.
“Awn my baby, I’m staying here and I’m not leaving. I love you all so much even if you’re naughty as hell I’ll never love you less” Valentina cleaned her tears and pecked her lips then hugged her tightly..
Myles smiled watching them same as Ricardo. Myles suddenly frowned…
“You can keep this emotional scene later. It’s almost noon and we haven’t had breakfast, I don’t wanna die of starvation on my birthday” Myles pouted.
Ricardo chuckled and picked him up then placed him on his shoulders.
“Let’s go champ” Ricardo said and led the way out.
Valentina followed behind with Minnie who had a bright and broad smile on her lips…

Kristina stopped the car in front of the industry. She smiled as she stared at it.
She quickly unbuckled her seatbelt and made to open the car door when her phone beeped.
She stopped on her tracks and picked it up then unlocked it. It was a message from an unknown number.
She clicked on it to see it was a video. She doesn’t know why but her heart skipped a beat.
Nevertheless, she clicked on the video and her whole world froze at what she saw. The hand she was holding the phone began trembling as she watched the video, feeling her heart slowly break down…
The look on her face at the moment was beyond compare. A drop of tear fell from her eyes as the video ended, then another, before another….
The grip on her phone loosen and it fell on the seat beside her. She just stared into space, unable to burst out what she was feeling.
Without thinking, she didn’t a U turn and crazily drove back home at a very furious speed.
Jade got down her car and smirked as she saw Kristina drove off. She wore back her shades and walked to the entrance of the industry…

Gavin was sitting on a stool with a frown on his face as he was reading through something.
He came here with the hopew of helping Iris out and spending some time with her when iris punished him with all these book work.
Well he asked to calculate the monthly profit the club made.
One thing Gavin h@ťě more than broccoli is reading. Yeah, he’s brilliant but reading is not his forte.
“Are you done?” Iris asked when she came to check up on him…
“Nope, I’m still sorting them out” Gavin frowned, looking at the big black book.
“You can do it VinVin! When we’re done we can go hang out wherever you want” Iris said and pecked his cheek.
“Sounds nice” Gavin smiled and began doing it fast…
Iris just chuckled and went to serve a lady who walked at the front of the counter…
“Can I have two Ç0çƙtails?” The lady asked…
“Yeah, coming” Iris said and went to get it…
Gavin looked up to see who it was since the voice sounded so familiar. He was surprised at who he saw.
“Omg!! Gavin!!” The girl exclaimed and rushed to hug him tight..
“Bella?” Gavin furrowed his brows
“Here’s your…” Iris paused when she her hugging Gavin. A frown slowly settled on her face.

Logan was busy working on his laptop I the living room, trying to free his mind from all the troubles awaiting him as Kristina comes back but it just couldn’t.
His thoughts drifted to Maude and where she could be. He already hired people to look for her…
Suddenly his phone began ringing. He picked up with a curious look on his face.
“Mr Daniels, this is the representative of Vogue Korea” A man said.
“Yes? What do I owe this call Sir?” Logan asked
“Just to inform you that Miss Thornton didn’t show up. We had to take another model to replace her” The man said.
“Is that so? Okay, I’ll try to inquire from her. Thanks for informing me” Logan said and hugged up.
He began thinking with worry slowly taking over. What could possibly happen to Kristina that she missed the dream of her life..
He dialed his number and made to call her. He began hearing her ringtone behind him…
He slowly turned back and his heart skipped a beat…
Kristina was standing behind his with her chest rising and falling at a quick pace with red eyes and tears in them.
