MORNING**
Kristina turned to the other side of her bed and snuggled with her pillow. Arms wrapped round her waist and Logan popped his head and looked at her sleeping face from behind.
“Good morning angel” Logan kissed her cheek.
“Wanna sleep more, go back to sleep!” Kristina pouted and snuggled more with her pillow.
Logan chuckled and kissed her cheek then kissed her nose and also kissed her cheek again. That made Kristina giggled while opening her eyes.
She turned and faced Logan, hanging her hand on his neck.
“Morning Logan” Kristina smiled.
“How was your night?” Logan asked…
“Beautiful” Kristina kissed him and looked at the clock on her bed stand.
“Gosh!, it’s almost 9AM. Have to get ready for work” Kristina said and made to stand up.
“No…just stay here,, I’m your boss so you won’t be late” Logan muttered kissing her shoulder.
Kristina chuckled and pushed him on the bed then came on top of him…
“Go home Logan” Kristina kissed him and stood up then entered her bathroom.
Logan sat up on the bed and smiled, the thought of them being a thing makes him wanna jump and scream it out to the whole wide world…

PARIS, 01:30PM**
Valentina groaned for the up tenth time. Ricardo left earlier for a lunch with some of his friends here in Paris, the kids are having their nap and right now she was bored as hell!!
Valentina walked out of her room and went downstairs then sat down and switched the TV on.
She was still surprised by what Ricardo told her yesterday. If it was another person then she will say he was joking but Ricardo isn’t the type to joke around…
She sighed and switched on the TV then began watching it. An interesting chinese serie was going on title ‘The legend of Yun Xi’
She was so engrossed in it that she didn’t even notice Ricardo enter the living room. Looking as hot and handsome as always.
He smiled when he saw Valentina watching TV. He walked to her and stood behind her without her knowing.
“Heo!!” Ricardo saod beside her ears.
That startled Valentina who jumped and turned to look at him.
“Oh…boss,,, I mean Ricardo” Valentina said, feeling really uncomfortable.
Ricardo chuckled at how nervous and uncomfortable she was. He dipped his hands in his pocket.
“Val relax,,, I won’t force you into dating me. I just spoke out my mind last night, sorry maybe I was too fast but I just couldn’t hold it in anymore” Ricardo said.
“That doesn’t mean that I’m gonna give up on you. I’m convinced that you’re the one for me so I’ll try everything possible to win you over and if I see it isn’t worthwhile…then I have no other choice than to give up but for now,,,” Ricardo smiled and went upstairs.
Valentina simply looked at him till he went upstairs…

WEDNESDAY**
TWILIGHT HIGH**
The driver opened the door for them and Gavin and Kimberly came down the car.
“Feels good to be in school” Gavin smiled.
Well for the past three days he’s been bed ridden, was really sick. He was diagnosed at Rita cares.
His friends has been visiting him daily. Well all apart Iris.. Seems like she’s avoiding him.
Well Gavin really wanted to the who r@ped her but in the end he decided not to search for the person. He wants Iris to be the one to tell him and he won’t force her to tell him…
He walked in the school campus and men!! It was like he was a celebrity. Students who knew him especially his admirers offered him gifts here and there…

Gavin chuckled and sneaked out of the crowd with Kimberly.
“You girls can be crazy! Which one is date me??” Gavin chuckled..
“I don’t even see what they see in you. You’re not that cute!” Kimberly shrugged and went to her class.
Gavin shrugged too and went to his locker hoping to meet someone there.
His wish got answered and he met her there. Iris was just packing her things in her locker. She locked it and was surprised to see Gavin standing there.
“Hi” Iris said awkwardly.
“Looks like someone didn’t even care about me. You didn’t even ask if I was feeling better, talkless to drop a message to Kimberly if you were that busy” Gavin pouted and opened his locker which was beside hers.
“Its not that, just that….(sigh) I’m sorry” Iris said.
Gavin closed his locker and looked at her. He suddenly remembered something and opened back his locker then brought out a package handing it to Iris.
Iris slowly took the package which was beautifully wrapped. She looked at Gavin and then slowly unwrapped it
At that moment, Luca was just passing by. He paused when he saw Gavin with Iris.
Gavin saw him but pretended not to see him. He cupped Iris cheek, rubbing his thumb on her lips.
“There’s something there, wait up!!” Gavin muttered. Iris just stared at his face…
Luca folded his fists and walked away.
“I’m I jealous?” Luca wondered, heading to class…
Gavin then released her when Luca left. Irish finished unwrapping the package and was surprised to see it was a brand new phone, more expensive than the one Gavin broke.
“I promise you right, sorry for damaging the former one” Gavin scratched the nape of his neck.
Iris looked at it, it was purple in color with butterfly designs at the back…
“Thank you!!” Iris muttered.
“You’re welcome, have to head to class. See you around” Gavin said and began walking away…
Iris just looked at him walk away.
“I thought he’ll ask me about Xander?” Iris wondered…
Gavin entered his class and met Luca on his seat. At that moment Luca looked up too.
They both exchanged glares till Gavin reached his seat.

PARIS**
Valentina and Ricardo were both at the hall were the show will take place. Everything has already been set.
The only thing remaining were the lights and projectors and other technical things…
“Can’t believe that what brought us here is finally here.” Valentina smiled.
“Yeah and tomorrow we’ll be heading back to New York” Ricardo smiled.
Valentina looked at him. These days he’s been quite different from how he used to be.
These days he’s been like really calm. He rarely spoke to her, not that he’s been avoiding her but he was giving her her personal space, like he was giving her time to think…
Ricardo turned and faced Valentina. He lifted his hands to her face.
“Where did you get this dirt from? You aren’t even lifting weights up but you’re having dirt on your face” Ricardo said, cleaning the place beside her lips.
Only God knows the level of patience he’s been practicing daily. These three days felt like three decades…
“Here, looking more pretty than before” Ricardo smiled and pinched her nose.
He dipped his hands in his pocket and went to supervise the work done. Valentina touched the place he touched and looked at him…

TWILIGHT HIGH**
“Today’s class was so boring” Gavin muttered standing up.
“I agree with you” Maxwell replied.
He became a student of this school two days ago. They both carried their things, same as Josh and Karl and made to leave but Luca blocked their way..
Gavin looked at him, wondering what he’s doing in front of him.
“Are you having an affair with Iris?” Luca asked.
Gavin rolled his eyes and brushed his hair to the back.
“It’s my personal life, I don’t see how it concerns you” Gavin said.
“You and Iris are not meant to be. She’s not into playboys and even if you succeed in dating her, we both know it won’t last long till she comes…” Luca said.
Gavin glared at him for a while before walking away…

PARIS**
Valentina stood up from the seat in front of the vanity table. She looked at herself and smiled.
She was in a navy blue gown with short sleeves and which ended above her knees.
Her hair was curled up and then allowed to flow freely and with the light makeup on her face made her look so pretty!!
She looked at the time and it was 7PM, perfect timing. She picked up her assorted purse and walked out of her room.
Minnie and Myles were both playing video games in the living room when they saw Valentina come down
“Wow!!!! You look too beautiful nanny” Minnie gushed.
“Too beautiful to be true!!!” Myles said.
“This one that Myles is also complimenting you that means you’re ravishing. And they’re right!! Wow!!!” Ricardo said, coming downstairs.
He was dressed in a navy blue suit too with hair styled neatly to the side.
“We’ll be leaving now babies. Make sure to ask the maid to pack all your things in your bag. We’ll leave first thing tomorrow” Ricardo said.
“Okay daddy!” They chorused..
“Bye nanny, bye daddy”
“Bye!!” Valentina and Ricardo chorused and left…
They entered the car and the driver drove them to the reception.
In no time, they were already there. Uncountable guests were entering an leaving the hall dressed in their fancy clothes as well.
The photographers began taking pictures of Ricardo and Valentina as they got down the car…
Some reporters rushed to them but Ricardo’s guard prevented them from touching him. Some of his fans were there screaming his name like he was a popstar.
“Just look at all these girls dying behind him. He came and chose a nobody like me, makes me wonder if he’s serious” Valentina thought.
🗣 Mr Thornton how is this collaboration going to be?
🗣 Mr Thornton rumors have been going around. That you and yout secretary are a thing is that true?
🗣 Mr Thornton what will your next invention be?
Ricardo turned and faced him. He stretched his hand to her. Valentina slowly placed her hand on his..
“Let’s go” He said and left the way in the hotel.
Various of his gadgets were been disposed around. With models showcasing their different designs…
They went and sat down on a seat reserved for them where they watched everything keenly.

THE WILLIAMS**
“Mom!! Come see! Valentina is on TV!!” Iris screamed.
Peggy walked out of her room and came to see. Valentina could be seen sitting down next to her boss, looking as beautiful and glowing as ever!.
“Gosh! Just look how pretty she is! I must go to Paris too, so that I can be more pretty!” Iris gushed
Her new phone vibrated she bought it out to see it was Luca. A smile formed on her lips.
“I see you got yourself a new phone” Peggy said.
“Oh sorry forgot to tell you. My schoolmate, Kim’s brother broke my phone so he promised to get me a new one” Iris replied.
“Okay, don’t stay too late. It’s 11PM and you have to sleep” Peggy said going back to bed
“Okay mom, sleep tight!!”
She replied Luca’s message and another one came. This time it was from Gavin.
💌 Can’t stop thinking about you. Tomorrow you and me, we’re going somewhere.
Iris smiled and shook her head then began typing.

Iris ached her brows. This Gavin is the perfect definition of crazy…
She shook her head and concentrated back on the TV. This time it was Ricardo’s time to make a speech.
Ricardo walked upstage with ghe guests clapping for him. He took the microphone and smiled, that smile that always swept every lady off their feet.
“Good evening ladies and gentlemen, it’s a great pleasure to receive you here in your number. First of all I’ll like to congratulate the board for the job well done, this collaboration isn’t easy but it was worthwhile and that’s why right here before your eyes I’ll introduce to you. Thornton Investment newest gadget. The teleportation machine, the TecMac001” Ricardo presented while the guests all cheered for him.
Iris clapped too from where she was sitting. She settled down well and continued watching the live show till the end!

The car drove back in the mansion. Valentina got down the car and stretched her body tiredly. The party ended by 11PM and right now she was tired as hell!!
She barely took two steps front when she felt herself been swept off the ground. A gasped left her lips.
“Rick…” She muttered staring in his eyes.
Ricardo smiled and her and kissed her forehead, making her blush.
“Let me carry you up to your room, just this once” Ricardo said and began walking upstairs.
Valentina stayed quiet and just placed her head on his chest, listening to his beating heart. Feeling kinda comfortable and safe in his arms.
Ricardo got to her room and placed her down. Her tugged her hair behind her ear and kissed her forehead again…
“Sweet dreams Val” Ricardo smiled and went to his room.
Valentina touched her cheek and stood there, lost in thoughts…
NEXT MORNING**
“Myles!! Slow down! I know you wanna meet Leslie so badly!!” Valentina said to Myles who rushed out of the car immediately it stopped in front of the airport…
“Come on!!” He exclaimed making the others laughed.
Minnie came down too. A hostess guided the kids in the plane. Valentina and Ricardo stayed behind saying goodbye to their partners.
“Can’t wait to get back home!!” Valentina squealed happily…
“Yeah me too, but I’ll kinda miss us living together. Now I’ll have to be waiting to see you” Ricardo pouted.
“You’re not serious” Valentina chuckled and climbed up the private plane.
Ricardo followed suit. He sat down next to her. Valentina looked out of the window, staring one last time at Paris as the plane slowly took off…

NEW YORK**
“I’m finally home!!!” Myles screamed out once he got out of the plane.
“Finally back, I kinda missed school” Minnie smiled, getting down the plain too.
Ricardo got down the plane and stretched his hand, helping Valentina down too.
Two cars were already waiting for them. One for Ricardo and the other which will take Valentina home.
Minnie hugged Valentina tightly.
“Goodbye nanny, I’ll miss you. Wish you can come stay with us” Minnie pouted.
“I’ll miss you too baby. Don’t worry, I’ll come pick you up from school often and I’ll also come visit often” Valentina smiled.
Minnie released Valentina and smiled at her. Valentina walked to Myles and crouched to his level then kissed his forehead and arranged his hair.
“Will miss you too. Cute grumpy bear” Valentina pinched his nose.
Myles hugged her tightly for the first time ever, he won’t admit it but living with her made him forget the void his mother left in him…
Valentina hugged him back too and kissed his hair. They broke the hug and Myles smiled then ran in the car, followed by Minnie.
Valentina stood up and turned to Ricardo who had his hands in his pockets. They stared at each other for a while.
Ricardo brought his right hand out of his pocket and tugged her hair behind her ear then kissed her forehead.
“Bye, see you on Monday” Ricardo smiled and walked pass her. He entered the car which drove off shortly..
Valentina heaved loudly and walked to the car the was assigned for her. She got in and the driver drove off heading to her house..
It took about 10 minutes for the car to reach its destination. Valentina got out and the driver help her carry her things out of the car.
“Thanks a lot” She smiled.
“You’re welcome. See you on Monday miss” The driver said.
“Monday?”
“Yes, boss assigned me as your personal driver. I’ll be the one driving you wherever you want to go” The driver replied and entered the car then drove off…
Valentina smiled, Ricardo won’t seize to amaze her. She carried her things and walked in the house..
“Mom? I’m home!!” Valentina exclaimed.
Peggy rushed out of the kitchen with flour all over her. She smiled and rushed to Valentina..
“Tina!!” Peggy hugged her tightly.
“Gosh!, I missed you so much mom!!” Valentina smiled, hugging her back.
“Me too” They broke the hug and smiled at each other.
“What’s that smell in the air? I’m farmished!!” Valentina exclaimed, entering the kitchen.
“So you’ll tell me everything that happened in Paris, hope you have pictures” Peggy said, following behind her.
“And is it me or you’re just glowing, your boss was really taking care of you” Peggy said.
“Mom!”Valentina exclaimed with her mouth stuffed of food…

“Did you see the way Riley looked at you, like she was scared of you.” Charlotte asked, walking to the lunchroom with the rest..
“Yeah, I think she’s calmed down. Maybe she has a change of heart” Iris said, remembering what her and Gavin did to her.
“That’s strange” Kimberly added.
They walked in the lunchroom and went to order their meal. Afterwards, they went to sit once their meals were served.
“I’m farmished!” Iris exclaimed.
“You’re always hungry…foodie!” Kimberly chuckled.
Maxwell suddenly came and sat down in between Kimberly and Charlotte. He held Kimberly by the shoulder and pecked her cheek.
“Eww…get your slimy mouth off my face!” Kimberly pushed him away and wiped her cheek while frowning.
“What? Can’t I greet my best enemy anymore?” Maxwell asked picking a strawberry from Kimberly’s meal.
“Don’t touch my meal too!” Kimberly snapped.
“Stingy baby” Maxwell smirked and looked at the rest.
“Hey cuties” He waved at them
“Hi Maxwell” Charlotte replied. Iris was busy eating her food, not minding them…
“Hey! Was that your sister that I saw on TV with the CEO of Thornton Investment?” Charlotte asked.
Iris swallowed her food and nodded…
“Yeah, she looked so pretty right?” Iris smiled…
“Yeah, rumors have been saying that her and her boss are actually dating. Is that true” Kimberly asked
“I don’t think so, if they were dating Valentina would have tell me” Iris replied.
“Though they look cute together.” Iris smiled…
Gavin walked to them with his food beside Iris, he placed his food and made to sit down but another plate was placed on the table too.
He followed the line where the hand was and his gaze came across with that of Luca. They both stared intensely at themselves for a while…
Iris couldn’t help but notice the tension between them. Gavin slowly sat down, same as Luca such that Iris was in the middle…
“Hey Luca, Gavin” Kimberly smiled at them.
Charlotte didn’t even talk, she just continued with her meal in silence.
“Hi Kim” Luca smiled and began eating his meal.
Gavin hung his hand on Iris shoulder and brought his face closer to her ear.
“Hope you still remember our agreement” Gavin said.
“Which agreement? I didn’t agree anything” Iris frowned and looked at him
“No, but you said I should kidnap you. Kinapping you is easy so I consider it to be a yes” Gavin smirked.
“You’re crazy” Iris shook her head.
Luca just stared at them angrily, God knows how jealous he was right now.
“Eat your food dummie” Iris pushed his head towards his food.
“Iris, I got something for you” Luca brought out a necklace.
Iris immediately looked at Charlotte who looked down hurtfully…
“Oh no Luca, I’m sorry but-”
Luca paid deaf ear and wore it on her then smiled while Gavin glared at him. Iris looked back at Charlotte who gave her a ‘it’s fine, I’m okay’ smile.
Kimberly just stared at them, enjoying the dilemma in front of her.
Iris nodded and brought out her phone to check up on the new social updates.
“Love your new phone” Luca smiled.
“Thanks, I-”
“I bought it for her” Gavin said, eating his meal.
“I didn’t talk to you, learn how to mind you business” Luca said.
“Between you and I, who should mind their business?” Gavin said calmly, referring to their last discussion.
Charlotte couldn’t take seeing Luca acting all jealous. She stood up and rushed out of the cafeteria.
“Charl!!” Iris exclaimed and ran after her, leaving the boys there.

“Charlotte?, Charlotte!” Iris called for Charlotte.
She met her sitting by the stairs. Iris walked to her and sat down next to her…
“Charlotte?.”
“It’s okay Iris, I know it’s not your fault. You can’t make Luca to stop loving you…” Charlotte said and wiped off her tears.
That was followed by a moment of silence…
“I’ve had this crush on him for 1 good year!! I was just too afraid and not bold enough to open up…now I lost him” Charlotte sighed and hugged her knees.
Iris just looked at her, all she could do was just hug Charlotte. Charlotte placed her head on her shoulder.
“I don’t know how I’m gonna do it but I’ll try to forget about him though it will be hard” Charlotte said sadly…
“Sorry Charl” Iris said and kissed her forehead.
Kimberly came and sat down next to Charlotte then hugged her too, that made Charlotte smiled.
“Having friends like you is more like a blessing to me. You don’t know how much you changed my life” Charlotte said
“Same here” Iris smiled.
“And here” Kimberly said too.
“Girls, I promised to tell you how I lost my pride. I lost it to my first love, my first crush. I was 15 back then and him 17, he said he loved me. I loved him too with all my heart, so much that I gave myself willingly to him… Never did I know that he was just after my body. The next day, he broke up with me telling me I was just one of his fantasy and how naive I was… He broadcasted it to the whole school, tainting my dignity in the school. It even got to the ear of my father, he was so mad at me but me being the only family that he had, he forgave me. I had to change school and town then I vowed to myself never to fall in love again till I met him Luca” Charlotte narrated sadly…
“So sorry Charl” Kimberly said, feeling for Charlotte. Getting heartbroken twice is not funny…
Iris chuckled..
“Looks like we have similar story. Well mine was just some months ago, I was I a school were I was bullied and h@ťěd by all. To them I was like a plague, no one wanted to speak to me, they viewed me like a dirty cheap thing. If not for my mom and sis, I swear I would have break down to tears. For them I decided to stay strong, I ignored all their comments and was fighting for a better future for my family till he came up. His name is Xander, same class as Gavin and the boys. He came up and confessed his love to me asking me to date him. Well I wasn’t into him so I turned him down. Looks like his pride got wounded so he got back at me. One day when I was going back home, he cornered me and r@ped me. I went back home, feeling broken didn’t know how to tell my family about it. Since my mom is suffering from a heart problem, I decided to stay quiet so as not to worry them. I thought that will be the end but no… He r@ped me the next day and kept doing that over and over till my guardian angel came to my rescue. My sister saved me from his clutches and reported him to the police force. That got Xander angry so he went and edited the video were he R@P£D me and made it look like I was enjoying it then published it on the school blog. Not only was I the black sheep in the school but I was now a subject of mockery. I had no other choice but to change school and that’s how I find myself here” Iris said and sighed sadly…
“Thats so sad” Kimberly said breaking up in tears when she couldn’t hold it back any longer.
It hurts her so much that her two best friends went through this trauma…
Unknown to them that Gavin was actually standing upstairs behind them, listening to their conversation…
Gavin rushed out of the scene. He entered the males restroom and rinsed his face in order to cool down his boiling temperature.
He lifted his face up and stared at his reflection on the mirror. His eyes was already red out of anger.
Without thinking he punched the mirror really hard, making it shatter into pieces. Wounding him in the process.
His blood dripped from his hands, down to the floor.
“Xander…pray God that I don’t find you or else, you’ll regret ever messing with my girl” Gavin growled in anger…
