Ricardo walked out of his office and was surprised to see his kids, especially Myles well behaved and calm.
“Dad!!” Myles rushed to Ricardo and pouted.
“Dad…the mean and ugly secretary yelled at me” Myles pouted pulling Ricardo’s suit.
“And I’ll not only yell at you but I’ll spank you if you misbehave” Valentina said while typing.
“Dad, don’t fire her. Myles was the stubborn one here” Minnie said.
“What? Since when do you take her side” Myles frowned
“Alright you two, its alright. Myles, Minnie I’ll use this time to inform you that in the next two days we’ll be traveling to Paris.” Ricardo said.
“Yay!! We’ll see ladybug and cat noire!! Yay!!!” Minnie and Myles jumped happily…
“Lady what?” Valentina said inwardly.
“Also I hired a nanny for you. Myles, Minnie here’s your nanny Miss Williams” Ricardo gestured at Valentina.
“You can call me Valentina” She smiled.
“Her?! No way!!” Myles frowned.
“Your dad didn’t ask you a question, he informed you that I’m your nanny. Whether you like it or not, I’ll be your nanny. If you don’t want me to be you can stay back here in new York I don’t care” Valentina said and stood up.
“Woah!!” Minnie exclaimed.
Valentina printed out the documents and kept it in a file the handed it to Ricardo.
“Here’s the résumé your son deleted” Valentina said.
Ricardo took it and went through it. He signed it and gave it back to her.
“Minnie, come let’s go. I’m taking you two out for lunch” Ricardo smiled.
Minnie pouted. She really wanted to stay with Valentina.
“Dad, can nanny Tina come with us?” Minnie asked.
Ricardo looked at Valentina, waiting for her answer.
“Oh well…I’m not that hungry you know” Valentina scratched her head.
“Come on… Please??” Minnie clapped her two hands together and did cute faces to Valentina.
“Well,,, okay” Valentina sighed.
Minnie smiled, her cuteness never fails!
Valentina picked up her phone and made to put it in her purse when something caught her eyes on her phone.
She gasped and quickly clicked on it. Her mouth was now hanging open by what she saw.
Somehow someone took a picture of when she kissed Ricardo last night and now it’s trending on the news.
She stylishly looked at Ricardo and then at her phone..
“Oh, so it’s now that you see that news?” Ricardo said, judging from her look.
“He knows?” Valentina said inwardly…
She slowly nodded and looked down in guilt
“I’m sorry boss. I got you implicated in some stupid rumor” Valentina said.
“It will die down in few days, nothing to worry about.” Ricardo held the kid’s hands and went away.
Valentina looked at her phone and sighed. No wonder the people were all looking at her strangely.
She kept her phone and followed behind them.

TWILIGHT HIGH**
“So if I got it all, you live with your mom and your sister” Luca asked, helping iris to carry her books to her locker.
“Yeah, out family may not be the richest but I love it that way. I just hope Valentina makes it in life… Then me too!” Iris smiled.
“You will, I’m certain of that.” Luca reokid.
“Speaking of making it in life, do you know a bar or a restaurant were I can do some part time jobs there?” Iris asked.
“Well yeah! But I doubt you’ll want to go there… It’s owned by the president” Luca said.
“You mean Gavin’s dad? Yuck!!… Well guess I’ll have to persevere. I’m doing this for my family” Iris smiled.
“I don’t understand why you two h@ťě each other. Gavin is a cool guy, he just love authority.” Luca said.
“Meaning he’s proud and arrogant and rude and I h@ťě guys like them” Iris frowned, remembering Xander.
They got to her locket and Luca handed her her books..
“Thanks Luca, you’re an angel” Iris pecked his cheek and began packing her books in her locker.
Luca touched his cheek and blushed. He smiled and walked away.
The locker next to iris suddenly was slammed close, so loudly that it startled Iris.
Iris looked at the person to see it was no one but Gavin.
“Miss ugly face” Gavin smirked, looking down at her.
“Mr stupidson” Iris frowned
“Are you ready for your payback?” Gavin smirked and walked away.
“Now his locker is beside mine. f_ck!!!” Iris hit his locker severally and hissed.

“Here, open up baby girl…”Valentina said and fed Minnie with the ice cream they were eating.
Minnie smiled happily, Myles was busy watching them with a frown on his face.
“I want her to feed me too.” Myles mumbled and frowned…
Valentina heard that and smirked, she scooped a spoonful of his ice cream and stretched it to him.
“Here, eat up!” Valentina said.
Myles looked at her and slowly opened his mouth then she fed her.
“I’m sweet and kind, so long as you don’t get on my bad book. So are we good now?” Valentina smiled.
Myles blobbed his head up and down. She also fed him some spoons before resuming in eating his…
Ricardo was busy eating his own ice cream, minding his business. The kids aren’t troubling him so he needs to enjoy abit.
“Uhm Sir…” Valentina called.
Ricardo looked up at her. She hesitated for a while before bringing a tissue to Ricardo’s face.
Before he knew it, she was already wiping off the ice cream that was at the corner of his lips.
Ricardo stared at her for a while and suddenly had a flashback. He once came to this restaurant with Evelyn and she also helped in wiping off the ice cream on his lips.
Ricardo frowned and stylishly pushed her hand away. He looked back down at his ice cream. Now he has lost the appetite…
“Thanks” He muttered.
Valentina nodded and continued her desert…
All through, Ricardo was all sad and grumpy…

TWILIGHT HIGH**
“And over…” Their sports teacher said.
They all stopped playing soccer and turned to their coach.
“So on Monday, we’ll be playing basketball and volleyball. Basketball for the boys and volleyball for the girls” Their coach said.
“Okay Sir” They chorused and began leaving.
Iris picked up her towel and began wiping off the sweat on her, heading to her closet.
She removed her dress and went to the lady’s bathroom to take a quick bath. Once she was done, she went to take her dress from the closet when…
“Where’s my uniform?” Iris wondered.
She turned and looked around but couldn’t see it. A note was stuck on her closet…
“Come to the basketball field if you want it” She read it and folded it with anger. No one needs to tell her that it’s…
“Gavin!” She snarled and marched to the door.
She peeked out of the closet to see if no one was passing by before rushing to the basketball room since she was only I her towel.
She reached there and saw Gavin sitting on the stairs there, smirking at her.
“I knew it, not only you’re ugly but you look like amoeba…shapeless” Gavin smirked and stood up.
“Where’s my uniform?” Iris frowned.
Gavin pointed behind her. She looked back to see her uniform hanging on the pole.
“Get it if you can” Gavin smirked and stood up then walked away.
“I’ll get back at you?! Gavin!!” Iris yelled and rushed after him but he already left.
She walked back and looked at the pole which was so high.
“How do they do to dunk this high?” Iris wondered…
She began jumping and jumping to get her uniforms but couldn’t reach it. She sat down and began calculating on how to get her uniform and also on which stick to use to finish Iris.

THORNTON INVESTMENT**
Ricardo and the other went back to the company. They all went in with Myles and Minnie discussing. Ricardo and Valentina were walking behind him with no one talking to each other.
“I’m in my office, inform me on any updates” Ricardo said and made to go in.
“Boss?” Valentina blurted out.
Ricardo paused without looking back.
“Anything wrong sir?” Valentina asked. She couldn’t help but notice he’s been so cold and distant.
“Nothing…” Ricardo went in with the kids.
Valentina shrugged and sat down then brought her phone. She began scrolling through her pictures, smiling at the different pictures she took with her family and friends.
Her face suddenly changed when she saw her photo with Ryan. The images of what she saw last night began resurfacing and that breaks her more.
Despite the smile she holds on her face, deep down she’s deeply hurt…
“Is Ricardo here?” A lady spoke.
Valentina rolled her eyes thinking that it was Fiona but was surprised when she looked up.
“Tina?!” They chorused…

“Tina?” They chorused.
“Omg… Tina!! What are you doing here?” Kristina hugged Valentina tightly. Valentina hugged her back too.
“Well I work here, since two weeks now.” Valentina smiled.
“Really? Wow, I’m happy for you. Hope my brother is not making life difficult for you” Kristina said
“Your brother?”
“Oh…forgot to tell you. Don’t you remember Cardo, my big brother! He’s the one” Kristina said.
“Cardo!! He’s the one,,, he changed so much. Never knew that that playboy could change” Valentina said.
“Yeah, he quite it… And he’s also more handsome and muscular too” Kristina winked.
“Stop trying to pair us together. You’ve been doing that since we were 14” Valentina sighed.
“But you two look so good together…” Kristina pouted.
“It’s first of all useless… I don’t ever want to fall in love again, it hurts so bad” Valentina said sadly.
“Why? What happened?” Kristina asked.
Kristina sat down beside Valentina and Valentina began narrating what she saw at Ryan’s place and how they broke up.
“I thought he was kidding or maybe he was drunk. But since yesterday he hasn’t made any efforts to call or text me” Valentina said fighting back her tears.
“Babe… Come here” Kristina hugged her tightly, rubbing her back.
“Ryan is a jerk and he’s not worth your tears nor your love. Next time I see him, I’ll make I break his skull with my heels. Come on baby girl…this is life, it isn’t made of honey and milk sometimes you have to taste the bitter part of it” Kristina cajoled her.
“Your story is a little similar to that of my brother” Kristina said.
“Your brother?”
“Yeah, his ex wife made him fall for her only to steal all his money and elope with it, leaving him with the kids” Kristina said.
“That must be bad” Valentina said, understanding why he’s so cold and distant.
“You see, there are some whose love life was more tragic than yours” Kristina said and Valentina nodded.
Ricardo walked out of his office with Minnie and Myles. They stopped and looked at Kristina and Valentina hugging.
“Kris?” Ricardo called.
Kristina looked at him and smiled.
“Oh hi brother. I came to pay you a visit but little did I know that my bestie works for you” Kristina smiled.
“Oh..I see, well I’m leaving now with the kids. Not feeling too well, Miss Williams make sure to send me any updates” Ricardo said and left.
“Bye nanny Tina, bye aunt Kris!!” Minnie waved and followed behind them…
“Awwn…she’s so cute” Kristina gushed while Valentina simply smiled.

“f_ck! Exams are next week. I h@ťě reading” Kimberly whined.
“You h@ťě everything about school” Iris chuckled. Well she doesn’t have a problem since she’s been revising during her free hours.
“Hey everyone!! Tomorrow is my birthday party and you are all invited. There will be a lot of cool games and also cute guys..” A girl who was standing by the stairs announced, her name was Dasha.
Dasha walked to Riley who was sitting by the stairs talking to her followers.
“Riley, please can you come at my party” Dasha said pleadingly.
Riley looked at her for a while and smiled.
“A little fun won’t hurt” Riley smiled and nodded.
Dasha jubilated, it was obvious that she was among those that worshipped Riley.
“For a birthday party… You’re gonna get it” Riley thought, she was actually planning on how to humiliate Dasha.
Well one of her girls, told her that they caught Dasha confessing her love to Gavin. As expected, he turned her down but Riley won’t let it slide pass her.
Speaking of Gavin, there he was coming downstairs with his hands in his pocket while chatting with his friends.
“So bro, what’s up with you and Riley?” Karl said.
“I already told you guys, I am never gonna date her. She’s just too cheap for my liking” Gavin said.
Riley winked at him, he simply looked away from her.
“But she’s hot and I’m sure she’s sweet down thete. If you don’t want her, I can go for her” Josh licked his lips.
“Suit yourself” Gavin sighed.
Iris folded her fists when she saw him coming downstairs.
*Flashback*
Iris jumped for around 2 minutes before getting tired. She looked outside to see Kimberly passing by.
“Kim! Kim!” She whispered.
Kimberly looked at her direction and gasped.
“What are you doing in your towel?” Kimberly whispered, coming to her.
“Can you climb on me and get my uniform?” Iris pointed at where it was.
Kimberly suddenly bursted out in laughter.
“Let me guess. Gavin” Kimberly laughed…
*Flashback ends*
“Girls, give me a sec” Iris said and walked away. The toilet washer was passing by.
“Let me dispose this water for you” Iris carried the bucket with a smile.
She walked to Gavin and before he could turn back, she emptied it on his head.
Josh and Karl gasped at the same time. Having removed the strands of his hair that got stuck on his face.
He smelled his hand and frowned.
“I smell like $h|t” Gavin muttered.
“Next time I’ll make you drink it. Stop getting on my nerves if you don’t want me to get on yours” Iris winked.
She put the bucket on his head and smiled.
“Here, now you look complete. Just like a dumpster” Iris smiled and walked away.
Josh and Karl burst out in laughter
“Stop laughing…” Gavin growled in anger.
They even laughed more. Karl brought his phone out and took a pic of him. The others couldn’t dare to laugh since they know what Gavin can do.
Riley folded her fists…
“I’ll make you pay for humiliating my Gavin” Riley thought in anger.
Gavin stormed away in anger.
“Iris you’re crazy!” Kimberly laughed.
“I think you over did it” Charlotte frowned.
“I did nothing. Do you know what he did to me, he took my uniform and hung it on the pole in the basketball room, I was in my towel. What if a guy entered there…” Iris frowned.
Charlotte shrugged
“Let’s see how this fighting will end. But I know already how it will end” Charlotte smiled
Luca walked to them with a smile on his face.
“Hey girls.” He waved at them.
“Hi Luca” Kimberly replied
“Hi egg face” Charlotte said.
“So Iris, if you’re ready I can take you to the club yunno for you job” Luca smiled.
“Sure, let’s go!” Iris smiled.
“Bye girl!” Iris waved and held Luca’s hand.
Charlotte couldn’t get her eyes off their hands.
“Hey Charlotte!” Kimberly called, bringing her back to reality.
“Yea..”
“Don’t tell me you’re suspecting them? They are just friends okay? I think you should tell Luca you like him before it’s too late” Kimberly said.
“I don’t like him” Charlotte muttered.
“Well continue deceiving yourself. Bye girl!” Kimberly said and left…
RESTROOM**
Gavin finished buttoning up his shirt, good thing he brought a spare clothes from home.
“This girl…” He snarled angrily.
A smirk curved up his lips when he thought of a way to get back at her.
“That will do just well ..” He smiled and carried his backpack then left.

“Here it is” Luca said as they got out of the taxi.
“Wow, it’s beautiful” Iris smiled.
Luca led the way in the club…
“Thankfully, my family and Gavin’s parents are friends so if I talk to them maybe they’ll give you a job” Luca said.
“Thanks Luca” Iris smiled.
They walked to the bartender who was busy cleaning the glasses.
“Oh Luca! Been long I haven’t seen you around here” He smiled
“Hi Mr Peter” Luca smiled.
Peter looked at Iris who curtsied and smiled.
“Who’s this pretty lady! Your girlfriend?” Peter asked.
“Oh nope, she’s my friend” Luca chuckled.
“Uhm Sir, can you give her a job here? I’ll talk to your boss later” Luca asked.
Peter rubbed his chin, thinking for a while before nodding.
“Sure, I need a server here.” Peter smiled.
“Thanks so much Mr Peter” Iris smiled.
“Since you’re still a student, you can come hete immediately after your classes and then leave let’s say by 7PM” Peter said.
“Deal…I hope the pay is meaningful” Iris smiled and Peter nodded.
“Alright, we’ll be leaving. Bye Mr peter!” Luca held iris’s hand and waved at Peter before leaving with Iris.
“Let me escort you home” Luca smiled.
They began walking back home…
“How do you know Gavin’s parent?” Iris asked.
“Well my parents are the owner of Twilight High and I practically grew up with Gavin and Kimberly.” Luca said.
“That must be cool, but…”
“Yeah I know, you h@ťě Gavin because he’s a jerk and blah blah blah” Luca said, mimicking iris’s voice and that resulted to a hit on the head.
