The next thing l heard was gun sound(s).__
I peeped out and noticed it was a gun battle between the kidnappers and the police. They exchanged fire and k!lled many, two policemen were already de@d and two was injure while five of the kidnappers were already k!lled including the previous lady, three policemen and two kidnappers were still left firing each other. But l haven’t seen detective Uwais yet, “hope it’s not what am thinking” my heart was now beating faster.
Two of the three remaining police men retreated leaving only a female police officer against the two kidnapper.
“NO RETREAT, NO SURRENDER” she said and l quote while she continue firing at the two kidnappers left.
“You f00l!, you will die today” said one of the kidnappers.
“$h|t” she whispered while running towards my direction.
“Hotel Quibech, Hotel Quibech, l need backup” she said still running.
l wish l could just be her backup but armed-less me what can l do? I so much love and respected the braveness in her.
” l thought you said No retreat No surrender why are you retreating?” they mocked.
“Go get her jack”
“okay Don” said jack.
“stop there and hands up, else I’m gonna bl0w out your sk^lls” jack thr_@tened.
she raised her hands and turned.
“Drop your gun and step back” he slammed.
“wow, our amiable galant officer, were de carry police work for head. l would love to bring to your notice that you are living the last minutes of your life here and now”.
I shivered, with my heart beating faster than before and almost popping out of my chest.
“You know am good person, so l have decide to give you some minutes to say you last prayer to GOD maybe he might consider granting you heaven cos am quite sure all policemem are going to hell”.
“never the less, I you should start praying as you will be dying anytime soon” Don mocked.
“I don’t give a d@mn to wh@ťěver you wanna do neither Do l care what happens to me next” she rant.

“where could detective Uwais be?” l thought to myself feeling defeated.
“Hahahaha, our officer is indeed very brave and it sounds so intresting to know, they are brave women out there, who never hang a leg even at the point of death. Let bring this to your notice, the country we are is so corrupt that once you are gone that’s all, not even the government or the police will find justice for you.
“I am sure you heard of late MOHBAD whose death was a mysterious one but what has the shameless government or the useless police done to get justice for him” he fired.
“I am sure you also heard of late 2PAC Shakur who was murdered 27 years ago but got justice of recent. By the way what has #justiceformohbad has to do with you being a kidnapper?” she fired back at him.
“Oh you still had the guts to talk back at me? Rest in peace my dear” he said raising his gun and pointing it at her.
“Don wait, we small small we go ki|| am we go first $h00t her leg, $h00t her hand, $h00t her nose before you ki|| am final” jack insisted.
” are you m@d, how will you $h00t nose before you ki|| her, that she won’t die?.
“Yeah, you right my brain just reset”
“I just wished your stup!d detective boyfriend was here to witness your death and also finish him, so he won’t mourn you” Don exclaimed.
“Talk not of the devil, for he is always present” a voice spoke from behind them.
I recognized the voice it was detective Uwais.
