ANNA LEIGH’S POV
The taxi parked, Chris and I came out, he wanted to hold my hand but I walked from him, he followed me inside the cinema building.
So many people walking around, holding pop corns and lemonades, there’s the stand, some are entering any theater they want, some are leaving, some are just walking around.
Chris and I went to the pop corn and lemonade stand and bought a bucket of popcorn🍿 with two cups of lemonade.
“That will be $10 dollars.” The seller said.
CHRIS’S POV
I started checking my pocket to see if there’s any change💰 with me. Nothing.
d@mn it! I don’t have enough for the food, I spent most of my money on the ticket.
Anna Leigh groaned “Here’s the payment.” She the seller some cash.
I bent my head, feeling ashamed of myself. As a guy, I’m supposed to be providing all this things, not her. I’m even the one that ask her out. This is so embarrassing.
We left the place “I’m sorry.”
She frowned at me “For what?”
I murmured “I’m supposed to pay for our food and I don’t have any money…”
“It doesn’t matter, I don’t care.” She scoffed and shrugged “Maybe you should actually get yourself a job. Just saying.”
I scoffed as we entered the theater I booked for us.
We sat next to each other as the movie started. I felt goosebumps, not because of the AC but Anna Leigh is on a date with me.
If I had make a move the moment I set my eyes on her on the first day, I would have been going on more honest safe dates with her, cuddling her, kissing her. But I f×cked up. Now she’s dating that useless Adam.
ANNA LEIGH’S POV
I kept stuffing my mouth with popcorn and lemonade, enjoying the romantic movie.
A romantic segz scene appeared with made me really uncomfortable. The actor started licking the girl’s V@ģĭń@, which made me h×rny.
I stretched my hand for more popcorn, I frowned as I touched something big and long. Chris pushed my hand off.
I realized I touched his d×ck by mistake, instead of the popcorn.
He gave me this attracting look from his ocean eyes, his lips are coming closer to mine, I closed my eyes and connected my lips with his.
Gosh! He has soft lips and sweet. I stroke my fingers into his curly hair.
He touched my waist and I pushed him away immediately. What have I done?
“Oh my God!” I screeched as I stood up, feeling unsafe.
He held my hand “Anna Lei…” He whispered.
“Shhh.” The people around us, shushed both of us “Sit down!” One of them whispered.
I gulped to see so many people here, there’s no how I can get out of here.
I sighed as I sit down, having no choice.
“I’m sorry.”
“Shut it and let’s forget what just happened.” I snapped at him.
CHRIS’S POV
God! God! Why me?! Why did I kiss her? Why didn’t I stop her? Now she’s mad, I hope she doesn’t leave me again.
I’m trying my best this night to avoid something stupid. Now…?
When the movie ends, Anna Leigh stood and left the theater, I followed her out “Anna! Anna!” I held her hand.
“Stop all this, Chris. You know I don’t like you anymore so stop trying to talk to me?!” She yelled and walked off.
“Uh…” Jada approached us, holding a bowl of popcorn “What are you two doing here? Together?”
I sighed “Calm down Jada, it’s not what you think…”
“So you’ve been cheating on me with that b×tch?!” She shouted.
“No…”
She poured lemonade on Anna Leigh’s face as everyone gasped.
ANNA LEIGH’S POV
I didn’t retaliate to spill her popcorn all over her body and slapped her stupid face.
“Don’t ever try sh×t with me again, dumb b×tch.” I sneered and walked out of the cinema building.
CHRIS’S POV
“Anna! Anna…!” I tried to stop her but the crowd
I’ve really f×cked up this time. She’ll never trust me again.
I glared furiously at Jada “Look what you did! What’s your f×cking problem?!”
“What are you…?!”
“It’s over, I’m done?!” I yelled.
She frowned “Are you serious, right now? You’re breaking up with me?”
“Yeah, I’m done with your rubbish, I can’t continue this stupid relationship, I’m so done?!” I yelled and walked away.
ANNA LEIGH’S POV
I arrived in front of Adam’s apartment door. I held my phone to call him again but it’s dead. I forgot charge my phone.
“d@mn it.” I sighed as I opened the door and entered the house.
He’s still not home. Where is he? Did he went home without telling me? I hope he’s okay.
I entered the bathroom, got undressed, took a long shower, returned to the bedroom and wore my pyjamas.
I should make dinner before he comes. He might get tired, I don’t want to stress him.
I went to the kitchen and made some chicken soup, arranged it on the small dinning table, sat on the couch, checking the wall clock for him.
I’m mad though, but I also have my secret so we’re even.

I opened my eyes as brightness flashed on my eyes. It’s morning already? And Adam’s not home.
The food is still there, cold, on the dining table.
“Why…?”
I stood from the couch, I slept on, I checked my charged phone, I called his number.
ADAM’S POV
“I’ll drop you off.” I said to Evelyn, leaving the hospital building.
My phone rang, I startled as soon as saw her name. Finally!
I answered “Hello?”
“Where were you?!” We shouted at a time.
Adam📞 I’ve been calling you since yesterday, where did you keep your phone?!
Anna Leigh 📞 Are you kidding me? My phone died. You just disappeared from school and why aren’t you answering my calls?!
Adam 📞 I’m sorry, I was with Evelyn, she…
Anna Leigh📞 Evelyn?
Adam 📞 It’s not what you think…
She hung up immediately.
“No!” I exclaimed.
“What’s wrong?” Evelyn asked.
I sighed “Just forget it and let me drop you off.” We entered my car and I drove off.

ANNA LEIGH’S POV
So I was stupidly waiting for Adam, I even made dinner just to find out he’s with the new girl.
Unbelievable. Maybe he’s put there making out with her too. I don’t blame him, I cheated too. I’m so stupid!
I warmed the food I made last night, rearranged it then I closed all the window curtains as everywhere was totally dark.
I returned to the bed since it’s Saturday. So I slept off.
*DIAZ MANSION*
ADAM’S POV
I parked my car in front of the beautiful villa building.
Evelyn unbuckled her seatbelt and smiled “Thanks so much for being with me at the hospital, even though my family didn’t come. It’s still best time I’ve had.”
“Yeah, sure.”
“You should come inside.” She smiled “My mom texted me that we’re having beef, pork and chicken tamales for family breakfast. You’ll love it, I promise.”
I scoffed “Sorry, my girlfriend’s…”
“Girlfriend, girlfriend, girlfriend.” She groaned “I get it, you love her so much. It’s just a few minutes breakfast, you can take it to go if you’re in haste.” She shrugged.
Well, I am really hungry. I didn’t eat since last night and the house is few miles away. It will take long.
“Okay.”
“Yay.” She clapped as we came out of the car and entered the mansion straight to the dining room.
“Evelyn.”
“Sweetie!” Her parents hugged her “How are you feeling?”
“I’m fine, mom.” They disengaged the hug “Didn’t you check on me at the hospital?”
“Your mom and I got caught up with work, it’s not that easy. In fact we just heard this morning.”
“We’re so sorry.” They lied.
“It’s okay.” She smiled.
Her dad saw me and smiled “Adam, welcome to our house.”
“Thanks you for saving my daughter and stood there for her.” Her mom grinned.
I smiled as I dipped my hands in my pocket “You’re welcome, Mr and Mrs Diaz.”
“Por favor, únete a nosotros para desayunar, hijo.” Her mom pulled my hand as we all sat down.
She said that I should join them for breakfast. Evelyn already asked me.
I had to sit next to Evelyn. The chefs served the delicious tamales on our dishes. I took the fork and knife and started eating.
“So, Adam Rodriguez, do you have any job from your dad’s company?” Evelyn dad asked.
I ate some meat with a fork, cutting another one “If I don’t, why do you care?”
Mrs Diaz held her husband’s arm “It doesn’t matter, he has to finish school before getting a job. Besides he’s here for the first time. Let him enjoy his breakfast.”
After breakfast “Thank you Mr and Mrs Diaz.” I left the house.
I opened the car door “Adam!” Evelyn ran towards and hugged me, she smiled as she pulled away “Thanks you. Bye.” She ran back to her house.
I scoffed as I entered my car as I drove off. I hope Anna Leigh won’t h@ťě me.

I parked my car at the parking lot and went inside the building.
I entered my apartment, everywhere’s so dark like it’s night. I opened a curtain as brightness took over.
Anna Leigh was sleeping peacefully on the bed. I sighted some cold food on the table.
I smiled as I sat at the edge of the bed, and kissed her cheek “Good morning darling.”
She woke and sighted me with immediate glare then she went to sleep.
I chuckled as I hugged her playfully “I’m sorry, baby. C’mon, don’t treat me that way.”
“Go back to where you come from.” She pushed me away.
“It’s not what it looks like, don’t you trust me?” I scoffed.
She sat upright “Please, I don’t want to talk to you, give me some space.”
“I said I’m sorry.” I said softly, putting my palm on her cheek “I promise it won’t repeat itself.”
“Where were you?” She asked angrily.
I shrugged “I just went to Evelyn’s parents house for breakfast…”
“Oh God!!” She exclaimed, covering herself with blanket.
“So I wasted my time, made breakfast for you, stayed hungry last night and you already had yours at Evelyn’s place?”
I sighed “If you just let me explain, she insisted…”
ANNA LEIGH’S POV
It isn’t about him. It’s me, I shouldn’t have gone out with Chris.
“I kissed Chris.” I blurted angrily.
His smiled change as he removed his hand from my face “What?”
“I made out with him, how about that?” I snapped angrily.
He stood and went inside the bathroom. I gulped, regretting what I just said. But I can’t keep any secret. I’m not good at it.
Plus, I want him to give me some space.
