Lucifer stared at Deva in shock, he felt so relieved that it wasn’t Devina’s doing.
” Are you okay?” Lucifer inquired as he touched her cheeks and shoulders.
“Yh-yh,” she stuttered before smiling. Lucifer paused for a moment before turning to face Maze.
“I thought you said Deva had vanished from the kingdom completely?” Lucifer questioned. Maze kisses her teeth before turning to look at Deva.
“I thought so…” she finishes.
“Where were you, Deva?” Lucifer inquired of Deva, who stared at them blankly.
“Hmm, ehm, nowhere,” she said, smiling again. Lucifer is not sure why he was feeling different in his body, or why Deva was acting differently. Why is she grinning? She was mad at him, remember?
“See you later,” Deva said as she dashed out of the throne room.
That is strange.

Sare paced around Deva’s room, she did not expect the Lord to be so close to her, let alone care for her or speak to her.
She was not sure what to do!!! What if she messed it up?
She lay on the bed, her heart racing as she heard someone enter her chambers.
“Deva,” Lucifer called, and Sare immediately stood up, already terrified inside.
Luckier sighed before approaching her; to his surprise, she did not move back.
“Uhmm, Deva,” he calls slowly, lightly touching her chin.
“I know I have been such a jerk a lot of times, it is just that…” he paused and looked into her eyes, which appeared darker than usual.
“I am so sorry for what I said yesterday; I was so angry that I did not know what to say,” he said, looking at her lips and caressing her face.
“I am sorry,” he says softly.
Sare does not know what to say; first and foremost, she has no idea what happened between Deva and the Lord, but they are extremely close.
” May I kiss you?” Lucifer asked her, moving his thumb to caress her lips.
Sare eyes widened. Was this part of the plan, or what? Of course, she wants to kiss the Lord, but what if something bad happens?
” Deva?” Lucifer called. “Are you alright?” He inquires, his hands shifting to her waist.
” Would you like me to touch you?” He asks again, but this time with a smirk. Despite how tempting this was, Sare was having second thoughts. She did not want to ruin this plan, but why does the lord have to be so attractive?
“Kiss me,” she murmurs confidently.
Lucifer tinted his eyes Slightly before using his hands to bring her closer to him.
“You want me to kiss you?” He repeated his question.
“Yes, please,” she replies, and Lucifer’s lips meet hers at that very moment.
Without a doubt, it was heavenly, this was what it felt like to kiss the Lord.
Luckier drew back from the kiss and looked at Deva, staring at her lips for a moment before removing his hands from her waist.
“Get some rest,” he said sternly before exiting.
Sare still has that smile on her face; if this is how it feels to be Deva, she wishes to be Deva forever.

Lucifer walked slowly to the throne room, his mind recalling everything that had happened that day. It was incredibly strange.
Deva first went missing, then reappeared, and then began acting strangely.
He could not feel the chills he used to get whenever he touched her; the kiss was not as intense as it used to be, and she threw herself at him.
Wait, that is not like Deva! Was something wrong with him or was it because he lost his powers?
“My Lord,” Hades greeted, bowing his head.
Luckier sat on the throne before letting out a loud sigh.
“Have you noticed anything strange in Deva?” Lucifer asked. Hades looks at Lucifer but says nothing.
“Answer my questions, Hades,” Lucifer said, frustrated.
“I do not know my lord, I am not close to her,” Hades said, and Lucifer’s face lit up.
“Where is your girlfriend?” Lucifer asks Hades, who suddenly smiles.
” Lauren?” He asks, and Lucifer rolls his eyes.
“No, Becca,” he says, making Hades laugh.
“Do you want to talk to her?” Hades asks again.
“Yes, right now!”.

“I am sorry, my lord, but Princess Deva is my friend, and I cannot go behind her back…”
“I know, I know, I get it; it might not be Deva that is in this palace, I can feel it,” Lucifer told Lauren, who looked at him blankly.
Lucifer liked the fact that Deva had a loyal friend, but she had to do this.
” my lord….”
“I am still your King Lauren,” Lucifer said, cutting her off.
“Do what I told you to do, and do not tell Deva about it until it is confirmed that the person in there is Deva,” Lucifer said, and Lauren nodded.
This was going to be difficult for her. What if Princess Deva was in there? She has no choice but to inform Princess Deva of the Lord’s plan.
She knocked softly on the door, and Deva opened it.
“Princess Deva, I have something important to say….”
“Hmm wait, what do you want?” Lauren was cut short by the princess’ tone. She had never used that tone with her before.
“Could I come in?” Lauren asked. Deva looked her over from top to bottom before opening the door wide for her to enter.
“Are you here to prepare my water?” Deva asked, causing Lauren to gasp.
“Are you okay, Princess Deva?” Lauren inquired softly, but her question seemed to piss Sare off.
“You do not have the right to speak to the princess like that. Are you not a maid, by the way? Sare inquired, his face irritated by Lauren.
Lauren’s thoughts were suddenly drawn to what the Lord had said. Could this really be an imposter?
Oh my goodness.
“You are not Princess Deva,” Lauren said, causing Sare to gasp.
“What do you mean?” Sare inquired.
“It is clear that you are not Princess Deva,” Lauren said, folding her hands.
“I am Deva,” Sare said, defending herself.
“I am her best friend, so tell me how this attitude suddenly developed.”
Sare looked at Lauren in shock, knowing she had screwed up. Oh, noo.
“I am not in the mood to talk to you, that is why,” Sara said, still defending herself.
“No need to do that, I am going to the throne room right now to inform the Lord,” Laura said.
“No, you can not do that,” Sare said.
“Well, watch me,” Lauren said as she walked towards the door. She was about to open it when she felt a big bang on her. Did she just get hit? Her hands moved to the spot where she was hit, and she noticed the red, thick blood rushing out of her head.
She turned to look at Sare, who was staring at her back. She could no longer stop herself from closing her eyes.
Sare stared at the body in front of her, it was not her intention, but she needed to keep their secret.
What is she going to do now?
She drags Lauren’s body before pushing it under the bed, she can see traces of blood on the floor. She dashed to the bathroom, grabbing water and a rag to wipe away the blood.
It was difficult to remove the blood from the ground, but she succeeded.

Lucifer waited eagerly for Lauren to arrive and deliver the news, but she was taking far too long.
He looked at Hades, who looked worried as well.
“Should I go get her?” Hades asked. Lucifer had second thoughts, what if Lauren was attempting to extract information from her?
But what if that was Deva and she was just acting strangely because she was angry at him?
He nodded at Hades, who swiftly exited the throne room.
Hades returned a few moments later, looking worried.
“Princess Deva said Lauren left after preparing her bath; she said they had a brief conversation, and Lauren said she wanted to come and meet me,” he said.
Lucifer nodded, perhaps she was really Deva, but where was Lauren?
“I searched her room and mine, but I could not find her,” Hades continues.
“Check the palace properly,” Lucifer stated, and Hades nodded before walking away.

“Wh@ťěver feelings you have for that monster, they will be wiped out, dear,” Mother said, almost making me scowl.
The sorcerer reverend walked in, holding a black pot.
“The spell will be lifted, and everything that made her like him will be gone.” The sorcerer reverend spoke, then opened the pot.
“Do wh@ťěver you want, mother, your plan will inevitably fail.” Mother looked at me, then nodded in disbelief.
“He can not take you away from me,” she says before taking the pot from the sorcerer reverend.
I was sitting on the floor when my mother approached me with the pot in her hands.
“It will be very hurtful if no spell is cast, but it will not hurt if there is a spell in her,” the sorcerer revenge stated. But my feelings for Lucifer are genuine and not the result of a spell.
“No, mother, do not do this,” I said, but she simply smirked.
“So you can continue liking him?” She inquires, then dips her hands into the pot.
“It is only going to hurt Mother,” I said, trying to get away from her, but she was fast.
The first sprinkle of water made my body hurt, and she sprinkled it again, causing me to scream aloud. It felt as if my body had been sliced into pieces.
“Please stop this,” I said, but she continued to spray it on my body.
“Queen Devina,” the sorcerer called, causing Mother to turn and look at her.
“It is not a spell,” she clarifies
Mother scoffed and looked at my reddened body. That water was toxic, my body hurt and ached at the same time.
I could not stop the tears from running down my cheeks, it was so painful. I can not believe my own mother would do this to me.
“So unbelievable,” Mother said, bending to my level.
“How could you possibly like that beast?” She spat out with so much rage.
“I am guessing you have not seen his beast form before,” she said, grabbing my cheeks.
“I am your mother, so I decide what happens to you; whether Lucifer granted my wishes to have a child or not, I do not care,” she said, standing up and storming out of the room.
What does she mean by Lucifer granting her wish to have a child?
“Stand up, child,” the sorcerer said, bringing out a small bottle.
“Use this to stop the pain,” she said, smiling. She walked away after I took the bottle from her.
I quickly dash into my bathroom and empty the bottle into a bowl. My body was extremely red. I sat in the bathtub, and a sigh of relief immediately left my mouth.
I closed my eyes, enjoying the sensations of the water, while the pain gradually permeated my body.
I vividly remember when Lucifer used to appear in my head, I wish he could do it again. I already missed him.
I suddenly felt guilty, I was mad at him before I left, and I wish I had kissed him.
Argh, I was so stupid!! But I could not abandon Dariana and Paula like that. They are my family, it would be cruel for me to leave.
I stood up from the tub once I was certain that the pain had subsided. I wore another dress, which was neatly arranged on a chair.
“Princess Deva,” Paula called, smiling. I responded with a smile before hugging her.
“I have missed you,” I said. She smiled and pointed to her bump, which I had not noticed at first. I gasped, then exclaimed.
“You are pregnant?” She nodded cheerfully.
“Oh my…” I quickly took her hands in mine and we sat on my bed together.
“I am so happy for you,” I murmured before hugging her again.
“Thank you,” she expresses.
“How about Dariana?” I asked. She takes a long pause.
“She was released today, but it appears that her baby died as a result of the poor conditions in which she was kept, and she was not given proper treatment,” she explained.
Tears welled up in my eyes; it was all my fault, if I had only found a way to return alone, none of this would have occurred.
“I am sorry,” I murmured softly, prompting her to hug me.
“It is not your fault, Princess Deva,” she says.
“Can I meet her?” I said as I drew back from the hug.
“Sure,” she replies, smiling.
HIGHER COUNSIL💮💮
Lucifer stood in front of the members of the higher council, he had to do so because he knew Devina would strike at any time. He could not be powerless. The higher council consisted of three people, and they were in charge of the rulers of hell.
“WHAT MAKES YOU THINK WE WILL WANT TO GIVE YOU YOUR POWERS BACK?” One of the council members asked.
“Hell will be in danger very soon,” Lucifer replied.
“AND WHO CAUSED IT?” Another inquired, making Lucifer almost scoff.
“Me,” he answers.
“THE LORD DOES NOT APPROVE OF WHAT YOU ARE DOING, LUCIFER; THE HELL LORD IS NOT SUPPOSED TO HAVE A LOVER,” another council member stated.
“Well, I thought he knew what was going to happen before it happened, and I also thought he was the one who made it all possible,” Lucifer remarked with sarcasm.
” OF COURSE HE KNOWS THAT, BUT YOU CAN STILL CHANGE IT, IT IS A CHOICE LUCIFER AND IT SEEMS LIKE YOU ARE FOLLOWING THE WRONG PATH”. Says one of them.
“And how do I stay on the correct path?” Lucifer queried.
“WELL IT IS EASY,” one of them said, pointing at Lucifer.
“WE WILL RESTORE YOUR POWERS IF YOU ki|| THE WITCH,” he said.
“Do you mean devina?” Lucifer questioned.
“NOT DEVINA, ki|| DEVA AND EVERYTHING WILL BE BACK TO NORMAL LIKE BEFORE.”
