All their moments began to reflect in her mind. First, starting from the very first day he laid his eyes on her.
She couldn’t believe she had fallen in love to her enemy, only to look into his eyes to see betrayal.
She moved her gaze to Sophie, a deep frown played on her face. “You will pay for what you did, Sophie. I will make sure you come to hell with me.”
“Hell?” She laughed. “I’m sorry but after this, I’m gonna repent of my sins and confess them all to God, then, I’m off to heaven. But you, you’ve got the whole sin and guilt in you. Bye bye. ” She waved.
“Go ahead. ” He ordered.
They untied her from the stick, forced her to get on her knees, laying her head on a wooden table.
The executor cleaned his tall machete sword with a cloth, swung it twice. He rose it high, waiting for a go ahead from the king.
Kaleb nodded his head for him to take the next action.
Theodora’s heart was beating so fast that she almost thought she’d die of a heart attack even before the sword gets to her neck.
Her breath became hard, each air she breathed came with a force. She used this few second to imagine what it feels like to be dead.
But when the sword was inches from her neck, there was a distraction. Someone from nowhere shot an arrow at the executor’s left arm.
He yelled in pain, dropping the sword to the ground. Every eyes went to the direction the arrow had followed from but there was no one to see.
“What was that?” Sophie stood up, staring around. “Search around for the intruder. ” She commanded.
Another arrow was shot, and this time it was directed at Kaleb. But being so sensitive and fast, Kaleb was able to dodge it.
The third one flew towards Sophie. Kaleb held her hand, shifting her away from the arrow.
“Protect the King!!” Yelled the royal chief guard. “Your Majesty, we need to get you out of here.” He led them away from the ground.
Theodora stood up to run but was stopped by the executor who grabbed her left leg.
She turned to look at him, kicking his wound with her other leg. He screamed, painfully, letting her go.
“f_ck you!” She spat on him.
She was gonna sneak out of the palace. She wanted to leave the fortress for good, when someone called her name.
“Theodora!!” She turned, glaring around to see who it was. “Dora. ” The voice was right in front of her.
“Diana?” She called in surprise. “What the heck are you doing here?” She questioned.
“I came to save you. ”
” Tell me you aren’t the one who shot that arrow. ”
” I am. Well, I wasn’t intending to ki|| Kaleb, he’s life belongs to Prince Raymond. But that so-called witch, she was my business. ”
“What about me? I have to leave this place for good.”
“No, you return back to the dungeon.”
“Are you kidding me? You expect me to go to that hell of death?” She scoffed. “I’m leaving.”
“Leaving the fortress will only change fate. And once fate is changed, destiny is being tampered. A lot of thing are bounded to happen when destiny changes. You must return to the dungeon and remain there until fate decides. ”
Remain there? In an opportunity like this for her to escape for good, she will have to stay for f_cking fate to decide??
Theodora h@ťěd the idea but what can she do? She had no choice.
“Fine. But what if Kaleb or even that god forsaking Ɓîtçh tries ki||ing me by themselves, do I also have to wait for fate to decide? Because right now, right here I am so d@mn confused. ”
“No one will ki|| you. I am your maker, I know what I am saying. ”
Theodora sighed. “Just fine. So, who’s gonna lock me up, myself?”
“No, I’ll do it myself.”
She sneaked back into the dungeon, entering into the cave. “Now, I’m gonna stuck in here for $h|t nothing. Diana, can you please come up with some thing else other than this crazy idea?”
Just then, Kaleb showed up, anger burning on his face. “You.” He points at her.
“So you were gonna have me dead for real? Just for her sake?” She stormed.
“I was gonna do everything just for her sake.”
“Oh, great. So what’s that supposed to do with me? Get me jealous or what?”
” You’re just a maid, what’s so difficult to believe in that?”
“Yeah, I was a normal girl who lived a normal life until you came and took the people I love away from me. As if that wasn’t enough for you, you took me for your selfish gain.
And as if that still wasn’t enough, you got married to me. Yet, still not contented with that, you almost got me f_cked! ” She didn’t know when the last statement left her mouth.
“You want to accuse me of raping you?!” He furrowed his brows.
“That’s because we were supposed to get f_cked, @$$h0le! ” She cursed.
” Jesus Christ what’s this Ɓîtçh saying?! Guards, I think she needs some attention right now! ”
” You’re the one who needs a special attention because very soon… very soon, you will be sent to hell.” She cursed, staring right into his eyes.
He walks into the dungeon, their eyes not leaving each other. “What did you just say?” He asked.
“I think you just heard me right. You will be going right straight to hell just in two days to come.” She repeated.
He gave her a resounding slap, sending her to the ground. “You dared to pray for my death? Who the f_ck do you think you are?”
“The normal girl who earnestly prays for your downfall. And surprisingly, it seems like the heavens just heard my prayers. Alpha Raymond is back and alive, and in two days he’ll be back for you. ” She said confidently.
Kaleb’s face turned to a deep frown hearing her call his younger brother an Alpha. He pulls her up by the hair, “I am the alpha here, remember? That son of a Ɓîtçh won’t take off my crown.”
“You calling your momma a Ɓîtçh now?” She laughed, ” I can’t believe you’re the son of a Ɓîtçh too.”
He slapped her on the other cheek. ” You shut up!”
” I don’t remember saying anything before you… you know, slapped me.”
” I’m gonna do that again if you say any $h|t. ”
” Oh please, I just remembered I’ve got to be tied up.” Looks at the guards. ” Please help me with the chains, I’m getting frustrated already. ”
She stretched out her hand for the guards. They glared at her then at Kaleb, confusedly. “Sire, should we?” They asked
“She asked for it, so do it.” He angrily walked out.
” Hurry up, okay or I change my mind.”
After the guards had locked her up, they locked the door too.
” Diana, you were supposed to be here and not him.”
“I couldn’t lock you up for nothing, so I had to bring up a case between you and your… Ex.”
” Great. That was the greatest idea you’ve ever made, Diana.” She sighed. “f_ck!!!”
