His lips stopped just an inch away from her lips, he began staring at her.
Maureen felt her heart slamming against her ribcage as she gulped down, the way his eyes moved around her body made butterflies to churn in her tummy greatly.
She returned the stare, staring at his pretty lips.
For minutes both kept staring at each other.
He moved closer to her, much closer and his face touched her nose, only heavens knows how much she was controlling herself from kissing him.
He brushed his nose on her own and Maureen closed her eyes anticipating for what to come next.
Andrew came back to his senses and moved away from her.
“Don’t say ouch again please, just manage the pains okay” Andrew said and Maureen eyes opened.
She looked at him then nodded, Andrew smiled before returning back to work.
CLOSING TIME**
Blaze walked out while Davina and Alex followed behind.
“Blaze” Alex called and he stopped.
“Yes” He replied.
” Can you come over to my house today, I want the three of us to watch a movie” Alex said.
” I don’t think that will be possible I will be going to work” Blaze replied.
” Oh! but can you come during the weekend?”.
” I think so” Blaze said.
Naomi walked out of the class with the same guy she was talking to in the class smiling.
She passed there with him talking and laughing.
She didn’t even turned back to look at him like she always does, it was like he didn’t existed.
Blaze found himself folding his fist, he stared at them feeling somehow.
Shouldn’t he be happy about it? but no it was the other way round.
He kept staring till Alex tapped him.
“You seems lost” Davina said.
“Bye guys” He said and left.
“Are you sensing something?” Alex asked.
“Sure ” Davina laughed.
“Are you coming over to my house?” Alex asked.
“Sure ” Davina replied.
Alex pecked her cheek and hang his hand on her neck.
“Let’s go baby girl”.
NAOMI’S ROOM**
? I can’t really wait to be yours.
? Every night and everyday I keep thinking about.

Naomi stopped singing, she fell on her bed and stood up again, sitting upright, she placed her palm on her chin and started smiling remembering the act she put up today.
“Mum you’re the best” She said.
She stood and began dancing around the room.
ALEX’S PLACE≈ 7PM**
The door bell rang and Alex ran downstairs, he opened the door and his eyes widened as he saw Davina on the door.
“Why are you surprise to see me?” Davina asked noticing the surprise look on his face.
“I thought you weren’t coming again, it’s 7pm already” Alex said.
“I am sleeping over” Davina said and entered.
“You’re sleeping over? ..”.
“Are you not happy that I am sleeping over?” Davina asked.
” It’s not like that but what about your parents” Alex said.
” They know I am sleeping over here, where is your mum?”.
” She is out of town” He replied.
” That means we are the only ones here, so where are we watching the movie?”.
” In my room” Alex replied.
” First I need to get something to eat” Davina said.
” Meet me upstairs” Alex said and began heading to his room.
Davina coiled happily and went to kitchen.
BLAZE ROOM**
“Hey big sister, I am sorry I couldn’t check up on you after coming back from work” Blaze said over the phone.
“It’s nothing, how is work in the restaurant?” She asked.
“It’s tiring but I am still managing, I will come see you tomorrow” He said.
“Okay, bye” She said.
Blaze sighed as his mind went to Naomi, she has been avoiding him for one week now, she is not clingy as usual, he don’t know why he is getting work up over it.
He didn’t know when he mistakenly dialed her number but Naomi’s voice made him look at the phone.
“Hello Blaze, Hello are you there?” Naomi asked
He didn’t said anything until the call disconnected, he laid on the bed and covered himself up.
“Hope it’s not what I am thinking” He said before closing his eyes.

Alex and Davina are still on the movie, they are sitting on the same couch.
It got to a kissing scene in the romantic movie where the male lead confesses to the female lead.
Davina started imagining herself kissing with Alex, she turned and glanced at him with the corner of her eyes.
“Davina what…” Alex turn saying something but he paused as he caught her staring at him.
“Davina” He called but instead she started leaning in, Alex stared at her confusingly until her lips landed on his.
His eyes widened.
ANDREW MANSION**
“Are you in love with Maureen?” Jason asked.
Andrew gave him an empty expression.
He went closer to Jason and placed his hand on his forehead.
“You don’t even have a high temperature, are you sick?” Andrew asked.
Jason pushed his hand away knowing what he meant by that.
“I just asked a question give ma an answer?”.
“I guess you know the question already, I don’t do love stuff and there’s no way I will fall for that girl, I like her but not romantically, I only love p@zzy man” Andrew said.
” But why are you nervous around her?” Jason asked.
” Nervous what are you saying bro, ain’t got nothing for that girl, I think you’re rather the one in love with her, I noticed the way you look at her”.
” Yeah I won’t deny that, but it was just obsession and I ki||ed that d@mn feeling already, keep denying it, okay what if you fall in love with her?” Jason said.
” It will never happen man not in this life, I don’t have a future, f_ck some p@zzies that’s all, love is not for me, I will never fall for any girl not even Maureen” Andrew replied.
” Can we bet?” Jason asked.
” Yeah I am in” Andrew replied.
” If you fall in love with her then you will give me your white Bugatti” Jason said.
” And if I didn’t?”.
” You can say it yourself” Jason said.
” Let’s just see” Andrew smirked.
” You will lose bro” Jason said smiling.
Andrew phone rang out on the table, he stood up and took it.
He didn’t know when he smiled as he saw Maureen name on the screen.
” Maureen” He said.
” Drew” She called cheerfully.
The way the name sounded in her mouth made him speechless for a second.
” Are you still there?”.
” Yes, how are you?” He asked.
” I am fine,did I woke you up?” She asked.
” No, I can’t be asleep by this time, I am here with Jason” He said.
” Oh, extend my greetings to him and good night” She said.
” Good night” Andrew disconnected the call but the smile still remain on his face.
“Why the smile?” Jason asked eyeing him.
“It’s nothing”.
“You will surely lose this bet” Jason said.
Andrew wasn’t sure of what he was feeling so he took the cup of wine and drank it.
“Clubbing, you in?” Jason asked.
“Sure, let’s go” Andrew said.
They both walked out and get in their cars driving out.
The red lights flashing around the clubhouse gave it a very exotic look, there are people outside the clubhouse, some are just gisting.
Jason and Andrew came down and all the attention turns to them.
Some started rushing to them but Jason glare sent them away.
“What was that?” Andrew frowned.
“What?” Jason asked.
“Why did you sent them away?”.
“Must you f_ck all the times?” Jason replied.
“You know p@zzy is my life, my identity” Andrew winked.
“f_ck you, I don’t know how I ended up being your friend in the first place, we are not the same” Jason hissed.
“You are stuck up with me” Andrew laughed.
Jason glared at him before going in, some Ɓîtçhes came and surrounded Andrew.
“Hey ladies, calm down I am not running” He said and took two Ɓîtçhes going in with them.
A RESTROOM**
Jason just used the restroom, he came out and began walking to the party when suddenly someone bumped into him.
“Sorry” The feminine voice said and he quickly looked up.
His eyes darted as he stared at the beauty before him, his heart started beating erratically immediately.
Her beauty shone despite the dim light, he couldn’t stop staring.
“Hey mister” The lady said but he was lost staring at her.
“Are you okay?” She asked again.
When she didn’t get any response she hissed and began walking away, Jason turned and glanced at her back, the way her hair float in the air gave her a very stunning look.
“Oh! my heart, I’m in love?”.
