Victoria POV
I’ve been trying to avoid him since the incident at his office, I wanted to go and prepare dinner, but he called me back and held my hand
“Tori promise you won’t leave me no matter what” he said and I gulp down
” What do you mean sir? “I asked trying to avoid his eyes, but he held my jaw
” I don’t want you to ever leave me” he said again
” Sir I’m a maid sooner or later I’ll have to leave”I replied
” To me you are not a maid, you’re more than a friend” he said
“What is he talking about, I’m just a maid”I thought
” Umm sir, I should go and prepare dinner, you must be hungry”I said, trying to leave but he held me back
” I’m not hungry, please promise to stay with me” he said again
“Ohh my I don’t think he’ll let this go easily” I thought
“Alright sir I’ll stay with you for as long as you need me”I said and he smiled
” Thank you”he said and gave my hand s gentle squeeze before letting go and he went to his room.
Why does he want me to stay, is he scared of something, it’s obvious he’s was angry earlier but why is he so cool now and even begging me to stay;all this thought ran through my head as I went to my room.

Adrian POV
After much persuasion she agreed to stay with me, I went to my room and rest my head, I drifted to sleep.

The next morning

I woke up hungry, of course I must be, I share my lunch with Tori and also I didn’t have dinner, I took a quick shower and went downstairs, Tori was cleaning the living room when I got there.
“Good morning Tori” I greeted
“Good morning sir” she replied and countinue cleaning
I went to the dinning room, I saw that the table was made for a single person again, I called Tori and ask her to eat with me
“But sir, I’m not done with my chores” she protest
“You can do that later”I replied
” Sir I’ll be too late and I still need to prepare your lunch” she said
“You don’t have to bring my lunch today”I said
” Why sir did I do something wrong? “She asked
” No it just that I’m not going to work today? “I replied
” Are you sick? “She asked and I smile
“No,I just need to see someone,let eat” I said
“Alright sir, I’ll just go and wash my hands” she said
” Tori”I call as we were eating
“Don’t use sir for me again,you can just call me Adrian”I said and she coughed,I offer her water but she declined
“Why sir,it not proper for me to call you by your first name, when I’m your employee”she said and I laughed
” I told you yesterday night that I see you as a friend” I replied
“I’m not sure if I can do that sir”she protested
” If you call me sir one more time I’ll reduce your pay”I said
” Sure,I’ll call you wh@ťěver you want si….I mean adr… Adrian”she sturter
” Good girl”I said patting her head and she smiled

Victoria POV
He asked me to call him by his first name even after much protest,he thr_@ten to reduce my pay I can’t let that happen.
I need to talk to someone, since he went out and I’m sure he won’t be back early,I should see Lola but how do I contact her.
Just then the idea of borrowing the gate man cell phone pupped into my head,I walk towards the gate I met him reading a news paper.
“Well-done sir” I greeted
“Tori, how are you?” He responded
“Fine,sir can I ask you for a favor”I asked
” Sure”he replied
” Can I borrow your cell phone,I need to talk to someone”I said and he laughed,at first I thought he wasn’t going to give me.
“Sure” he replied and I sigh in relief
I called Lola and ask if we could meet,she agreed and I gave her a venue.
I thank the gate man and went back inside to get dressed.
I’ve been sitting for almost an hour, she’s still not there I was starting to get worried when I saw her come in I wave to her and she rushed towards my table
“Good day my princess” she greeted bowing
“Stop that someone might see you, take a sit” I said
“My princess you look thin” she exclaimed
“I don’t” I replied
“Are you sure you are working as a maid?” She asked
“Yeah why?”I replied
” The clothe you are wearing,it expensive” she said
“I know right,my boss brought it for me”I replied and she opened her mouth in surprise
” I have a problem that why I called you” I said
” What that? does he want to fire you”she asked and I nodded no
” Then what your problem?”she asked
