As I stood outside the balcony of the presidential suite, I can’t help but embrace the awesome peace of mind. I have been treated like a queen here since I arrived two days ago. It’s so surprising how the president showers me with love, even though it was the second time we were seeing each other. I know I would have fallen in love with him if I’d met him first. He’s everything I want in a man, humble, kind, caring, and soft unlike my arrogant egoistic mate, but I still can’t help but fall helplessly in love with my arrogant mate.
I smile laughing at my own though as the cool morning breeze blew my hair about. I know it’s funny how we always want that which hurts us the most, but not like I can help it. The heart wants what it wants. Today I promise to go out with the President and….
“Hi…” A voice interrupted me
“Hi” I smile looking back, I already know it’s President Raymond,
“Good morning” I greeted as he stood beside me, leaning on the railings
”How was your night?” He smiles out his cute dimples
“Awesome and yours?” I ask blushing
“Not bad” He grinned, and then silence
The moment was getting awkward so I decided to speak about our outing today
“So…are we still going?” I ask raising my eyebrow
“Sure… let’s have breakfast first” He chuckled and pinched the bridge of my nose.
“Aww that’s so cute” I giggled and our laughter covered the whole place.
A bond of joy sets from the pit of my stomach as I watch him laugh so happily so much I wish Rudolfo could be like this. I was mesmerized by president Raymond, not minding his status he still humbles himself, and not with only me but with everybody which I’ve seen.
“What are you thinking about?” He asked, snapping his finger on my face, I jolted back to reality and made to punch him playfully, but I hung my hand in the air remembering who he was. He frown and sighed as well
“Aqua….” He called and hold my two hands, I look at him and all I could see was a loving and sincere soul
“I want you to be free with me, all I’m asking for is a chance, I want to get to know you, listen I know you don’t love me and I’m not forcing you at all, take your time we can be friends” He smiles, I don’t know how but I find myself shedding tears
“What happened….did I say anything wrong?” He asked with a face filled with concern, I shook my head negatively. Right now I feel like my emotions are going to burst open so I did the only thing I could do, I closed the space between us and wrapped my arms around him.
I embrace him in a tight hug, not letting go, wetting his shirt with all my tears just for once I needed to embrace this beautiful love, not all time have I been opportune to experience this. He patted my back, caressing my hair gently. I don’t know for how long we stayed like that but by the time, I pulled away I finally felt better
“Sorry…I don’t mean to” I smile
“Shhh… it’s okay” He smiles
“Shall we?” He sad and held onto my left hand
“Yes…” I smile and we walk off. We walked to the dining and he pulled out a seat for me to sit, “Thank you” I muttered with a face full of smiles. We sat as the servants began to serve us, I ate to my full after which I thanked him for the meal and we left for the date. We walked towards his parked BMW, his guards opened the door on sighting us, we entered as they closed the door.
I could feel President Raymond’s gaze on me. I tried hard to bring up a conversation since the silence was getting awkward but I couldn’t and when I couldn’t think of anything good, I looked out the window.
I was excited, the outing wasn’t so bad after all and I must say the President is lively too, and somehow I feel myself warming up to him. We drive back into the Presidential Suite, this time around the President ordered the guards to leave, he step out of the car on his own and walk towards my side as he pulled the door open, I smile
“Thank you” I muttered shyly as I step out of the car, I made to walk inside when suddenly the President pulled me by the waist, my chest slammed against his, a gasp tore from my lips
“What……wh….t?” I stuttered, it’s already getting dark, so I doubt if anybody can see us, he stare at me with passion and love, remembering he still has his hands on my waste got me blushing so hard
“You’re beautiful” He smile, tucking back some strands of my hair behind my ear, I watch as he admire every bit of me,
“Can I ever let you go?” He muttered in a hoarse voice, drawing his face close, so much that we could feel each other’s breath…my heartbeat started to reverberate. With every closeness he draws, I try to see him but all I could see was the Alpha, and I cause myself for that.
“Can I make this one mistake?”
“Huh?” I uttered confuse, He pulled me more into him and made to connect our lips
“Dare that and I promise you six feet below” I flinch back and pulled away from the President on hearing his voice
“What are you doing here?” I ask angrily, how dare he? After all, he said to me
“Let’s go,” He said ignoring me, as he tuck his hand in his pant pocket
“Hmmm” I huff, arrogant peaÇ0çƙ
“I’m sorry to disappoint you I’m not coming with you cause the last time I checked, I was nobody to you” I retorted back
“Aqua!!”
“Well news flash” I smirk and walk beside the President
“Finally I’ve found someone who treats me right” I smile looking at the president and he winked at me
“I’m never returning back again, I’ve had enough of your insult, you can go be with whoever you want, I Aqua Louise is tired of letting people treat me as trash, my love was nothing to you, all I was to you was a tool you use as you want, I’m sick of your games you’re just like my other mate I’m tired of you mates. You said I’m cheap all because I love you, well you don’t have to any more cause this cheap wore won’t be disturbing you no more”
“Aqua….listen” He made to come forward
“Let’s go,” I said and walked out with the President, leaving him in shock.
