I had a dream where I saw myself in a big tunnel, but then I couldn’t come out. Everywhere was dark, there was no light at all, I was so afraid, I coiled up in a corner, hugging my knees to my chest. I felt so much pain like I was going to die, but then…the thought of Rudolfo flashed into my mind, and I suddenly wanted to find a way out. I can’t just die here without a try, what if I never get out? That means Rudolfo won’t have the chance to love me when he finally starts to realize that I’m for him.
No…no…no, I need to get out, but it was like I’m stuck for real because breathing suddenly becomes so hard for me, and the darkness ain’t helping matters at all. I need to get out, what if I shout for help. Looking around this place looks so deserted that I knew I was on my own but there’s no harm in trying. I cleared my throat and shouted, but I couldn’t. It was like my voice was taken away from me. I suddenly became scared, “I don’t want to die young,” I thought as tears gathered in my eyes, I fell back on the floor, returning to my one’s lonely corner, I look up into the dark seeing no air of hope, I closed my eyes and folded my hands, I don’t know how but I suddenly decided to pray to the moon goddess for help.
I prayed for some time, and by the time I open my eyes, Somehow I felt okay like my tears reach out to the moon goddess so far, I started hearing distance noises, like my name being called and just like that in the dark I started trailing those sounds, I didn’t care, if I see anything or not, but I made sure to use my hand as a detector. I found out that each step I took it leads me deeper or outer of where I don’t know, at a point, I became so tired, I really wanted to give up, but the thought of not seeing Rudolfo again sends shivers to my body and that gives me the zeal to never give up.
It was at a point that the voice was becoming clearer, yet no light at all. I was tired, at this point I made to lay down and hug myself when suddenly I saw a thin ray of light from a distance, and without being told I knew that was my rare hope, I was tired, I knew I was, but no! I will never be quieter, I need to get back on my feet relentlessly I need to make this happen, and most of all I need to make it out alive, to show them I will always pull through any condition no matter what, this my darkest away should be my biggest flex cause not everybody can make it out alive.
I staggered but I stood, I stood tall and with much more confidence, I don’t walk this time, I don’t know how but I find myself running towards my hope, never giving up, and at last, I stood before the shining light I made to touch it when it suddenly clouded my visions, and just like that
“Ahhhhhhhhhhhj!!!!!!!” I screamed and sat up on the bed, for a minute I was trying to gather my blurred vision, I felt a hand on my back patting me calmly to calm down, and when my breath finally stabilized. I took a deep breath and lay back down, that was when I had the chance to look around, I suddenly got worried seeing Rudolfo holding onto my hand, ma Olive was sitting on my left side while Diamond stood on the edge of the bed with Betta Ricco leaning against the door. All of them has a worried face, and somehow I know I’m the cause, and slowly I ask
“What happened?” I looked at Diamond and turned to see Olive, but then Rudolfo suddenly stood up, and without saying a word he left.
“Don’t you remember what happened honey?” Ma Olive asks me, and just like that, memories of my argument with Rudolfo start to flood my mind as I explain them to ma Olive. New fresh tears rushed down from my eyes, but this time around I had a shoulder to cry on as ma Olive hugged me to herself even Diamond, Betta Ricco already followed Rudolfo out.
It was already late in the evening, as Olive had me resting the whole day and I’m grateful for her. Diamond has not left my side since morning. I know it’s crazy but still, I couldn’t get over the fact that I woke up to see Rudolfo holding onto my hand, I know I shouldn’t think too much about it knowing he doesn’t care, but I can’t help it
I was still chatting with Diamond when the door suddenly opened,
“Dinner is ready, ma Olive seek that the both of you join them at the Royal dining”
“What!!” I and Diamond chorussed together looking so surprised with a raised eyeball.
“Yes” Taimaira the maid, smiled and winked at us before she left.
“I’m not going” Diamond shrugged,
“Why dear”
“Don’t want to see Ricco” She shrugged, I smiled knowing she was just facing the same problem as me and Rudolfo. Seriously, those two are something else.
“You know you can’t keep on running away from him,” I said caressing her cheeks as I stare into her eyes
“But….”
“Shhh……don’t worry about that when we get to that River we shall cross it” I wink at her and pull her up, I know my Olive has something up her sleeve and I want to know what it is.
Immediately we walked in, Rudolfo turned and stared at me but I acted like he doesn’t exist which I know will piss him off, I look at Diamond to see she’s also doing the same.
“Welcome darlings” Ma Olive smiled, we peck her cheeks and sat down beside her,
the food was served and we started eating quietly, I watch secretly how Rudolfo eats, I forgot I was even eating immediately he raise his head, our eyes connect but I was fast enough to avert my gaze, only to see Diamond staring deeply at Betta Ricco with him doing the same
“Mmmmmmm” Ma Olive cleared her throat to guess she noticed the chemistry going on
“Aqua prepare, you will be spending the weekend at the president’s residence, and Diamond sweetie the Alpha of light moon pack will come to take you to spend the weekend with him” She concluded smiling.
“I look at Diamond to see that she’s just as confused as I am.
“Bullshit Aunt that’s not happening,” Alpha Rudolfo said standing, up I look up to see him glaring daggers at me, without being told I lowered my gaze meekly,
“Aunt I’m sorry but Diamond is going nowhere” Betta Ricco added
“And what if I insist…..!!” Diamond suddenly spoke
“Sweetheart don’t try me, you won’t like the outcome,” Betta Ricco said coldly and walked out.
“Hell will lose Aqua if you dare me,” Rudolfo said and walked out too but not before looking at me warningly.
“Don’t mind those boys packing your bags”.
“What!!!” We both screamed.
