Aqua Louise Pov:
It’s finally time, as I look at the time which says eight in the night. I have already taken my bath and right now I’m no more in my maid uniform but in my nightie, red pants and singlet which ma Olive got me.
Saying that I’m not afraid is lying. I kept fiddling with my finger. As I kept doing what Diamond advised me to do, earlier today she wasn’t happy with my mood. I tried to hide it from her but she pressures me into telling her. She wasn’t happy with the Alpha and she wasn’t happy with me for hiding things from her but after some minutes she forgave me.
Yeah….that’s Diamond, she’s just like her name because her heart is so pure only if the betta can be eyes opened enough to see that. I sighed and stood up knowing I wouldn’t want to be wasting his time. I might not like the outcome. I took a deep breath yeah…one of Dia’s lectures. I breathe in and out trying to calm my nerves down. I puff out air from my mouth and d@mn! I felt better. Feeling like I’ve gotten the confidence that I needed I pulled the doorknob and walked out but suddenly I staggered back and held my chest.
Diamond stood before the door with her hands folded below her B-__-bs
“Gosh Dia you scared me” I growl standing straight
“Monkey I thought you’d die there” She teased me. I know Diamond, with the little time I’ve been here I already know her and she’s here for only one reason and that is to cheer me up.
“Hurry up I saw the Alpha walk back to his chambers after having discussed what I don’t know with the betta” She urge me, but then having mentioned the better left my mind going wild, and then it clicked, I look at Dia and she groans giving me the eye that says….”Hurry up”.
“Could it be that after all the teasing I teased the betta he is still cold towards Dia? Well, there is only one way to find out” I thought. I stare at Dia who had a sisterly worried face
“Diamond” I called and she faced me smiling, you know the smile that says “Death” but that’s not my problem.
“Has the betta started talking to you?” I ask but her face dropped
“No…but these days he has been giving me disgusting glares, I’m so tired of him I might give up soon,” She said with a teardrop from her eyes. That’s one thing about diamonds. She’s too emotional, not like I’m not but I’ve been through so much pain that sometimes I know how to bottle up the biggest pain but with Diamond, it’s not like that.
I sighed not knowing what to do, people like me only know how to feel pain and not to comfort. Not knowing what else to do, I covered the little distance between us and circled my hands around her. She hugged me back and leaned on my shoulders as she cried her eyes out. Minutes have past and her cries have slowed down as she only whimpers, right now I’m not afraid If I’m late to the King’s chamber. The only concern I’ve now is to make sure my friend is okay.
She suddenly pulled out from the embrace and took my two hands into her hand, as she stared into my eyes, looking at her I could see burning affection and sisterly love.
“Thank you so much Aqua, you’re like the sister I never had I’m so grateful,” She said with a face beaming of smile
“Ohhh….it’s nothing” I wave it off as my face turn red from blushing, I took my hand from hers
”I got to go see you tomorrow” I wave running off
“Good luck and good night” She shouted behind me, though I already run some distance I could still hear her.
I slowed down on my steps knowing I might run out of oxygen if I keep on running like that. I stood in the hallway that leads to his chamber, I’ve already passed those mighty stairs and right now I feel like I might pass out any seconds from now. I stood for almost five minutes as I tried to gather my strength back. Finally, I felt better, I started walking towards his chambers and finally, I stood before the four leading to his room.
” Calm down Aqua” I whispered to myself as fear of the unknown engulfed me taking over my sanity, my palms suddenly turned sweaty as I could feel some beads of sweat run down from my forehead.
I puffed out air from my mouth and did the breathing in and out five times and now I feel a lot better all thanks to Diamond. I grab the doorknob which is already open, maybe because he knows I’m coming. I pushed the doorknob open as I entered, the air conditioning making the room so cool and fresh hit my skin and I felt like climbing that bed and having a good sleep. Suddenly forgetting the reason why I’m there.
I look around the quiet room wondering where he might be?
“When you’re down site seeing you tell me” I heard his deep cold voice and I jumped in fright wondering where he was.
I was still looking around when I saw him coming out from his balcony, my heart skipped when I saw him shirtless, looking below his waist is a towel right wrapped around it showing he just got out of the shower a few minutes ago. I looked away as he entered the room fully. I closed my eyes tightly and balled my fist beside me. I could feel his close proximity but I dare not open my eyes, “Open your eyes” I heard his deep velvet baritone voice say in a calm but commanding tone.
I shake my head both ways “No” I muttered, I swear I could feel him smirking right now.
“Don’t worry sweetie I can kiss you to open your eyes, I know you’ll like….” He didn’t get to finish his words before I opened my eyes only to see him smiling victoriously. My face dropped,” I already signed up for this. I should take responsibility ” I try to convince my throbbing heart. He step away from me and I exhaled maybe he changes his mind but with one world he got my head spinning
“Strip,” He said like it’s nothing looking at me, with a smirk on his face.
