On a lonely path Maya walking and singing mysteriously heard a loud scream, she startled and tiptoed following the scream direction.
She found her dad screaming for help. A python cuddled round his body, Maya screamed in shock.
She forcefully woke up sweating and panting.
” another nightmare? What is happening, why am I having dangerous nightmares” the question remain unanswered till she went back to sleep.
? Next Morning ?
Missus Rose in the kitchen preparing breakfast while Maya came out from her room with her school wear.
” Good morning mum” Maya greet.
” Morning darling, you are ready ” Maya’s mum asked.
” yes mum, I’m ready ”
” breakfast will soon be ready okay ”
” Okay mum”
“That reminds me, I heard you screaming last night what was the matter? ”
” I had a terrible nightmare”
” what it might be, I hope you prayed about it”
” yes mum”
” where is dad? ” Maya asked.
” Is in his room ”
” Lemme check on him ” she left.
? Assembly Ground ?
The principal step up on a sorrowful face. He adjusted his tie and moved forward.
” Good morning students”
” Good morning sir” they chorused.
” its so unfortunate and substandard that an abominable thing had occurred in the school yesterday and it really not good for the school ” some students looked at theirselves in confusion.
” we just lost one of our own yesterday. Mr Kane is dead ” the principal added. The assembly ground flooded with noise and Mõ@ɲs for some minutes.
The principal continued. “We are investigating on this murder case to know the culprit, if you have any useful information about this case feel free to let us know. This is really not painting a good name to the school ” principal stepped down. Maya stared at Jennifer from her position, their eye balls clashed in suspect.
Mr Frosh stepped up and dismissed the students.
